CHAPTER 86
Sumire was regretting her decision to let Tomoko and her granddaughter come. The whole ride over the loud one talked non stop about Sakuno's so called future husband. Asking her how many children she wanted, what kind of house and so on. When the old lady parked in front of Ryoma's house, Tomoko had pointed excitedly and said they should just live at the temple saying it had a homey environment. The teacher held in a sigh and told them to get out the car.
Knocking on the door Sumire watch the two girls whisper and giggle between them knowing well that they were talking about Ryoma. Tomo opened the door and looked at the two girls. Sumire had told him all there was to know about to so called future fantasy along with the details she had gotten from the girls about their tennis practice with their prince. The butler had invited them in and as soon as Tomoko stepped in she shouted from the top of her voice. "Ryoma-Sama!"
"Oh god! Not you." Keigo spoke in dread as he stood at the kitchen door. "Ore-Sama though he had gotten rid of you at Seigaku." He turned around to go sit back in the kitchen no longer interested in the guests. They all looked up the to the stairs when they heard a door slam close and then complete silence.
Mitsu sighed as the bathroom door was left open when the cat went and ran for his life. Deciding he still wanted to stay in the tub for a bit longer he got out and quickly closed the door.
Everyone downstairs was just standing round. Syu had gone for the stay quiet and watch TV in lounge plan. He was just hoping for a quiet night in with his lovers. He had to admit that sadly nothing went to plan in this house. As he thought he had gotten away with hiding Tomo had ruined his cover.
"Syusuke, go get Ryoma. He should greet his guests." 'His guests?' Syu thought. Knowing well that Ryoma would never invite certain people round. He could hear the tiredness in the butlers voice as if he was saying that he didn't want the two girls here either. Turning the television off he stood and went into the hall way to see both Sakuno and Tomoko gaping at him.
"What are you doing here?" Tomoko shouted. Syu wincing slightly at the volume kept a fake smile on his face as he answered the 16 year olds question.
"Saa... I live here." Syu spoke the simple sentence before wondering up the stairs. Searching the rooms he finally came across Ryoma who had managed to hide himself at the bottom of the tensai's wardrobe. Instead of trying to drag the cat out Syu chose to just to lay in the middle of his room.
Syu watched from the corner of his eye as he heard rustling as saw black-green hair along with two twitching cat ears stick out from his cupboard. The tensai laid on his side as he watch Ryoma slowly make his way out until he was sitting crossed legged in front of him. "Ryo-Chan." He half sung. Smiling when the boy's face scrunched up slightly. With one arms supporting his head he used the other to reach up and pull the cat's hood over his head. "You might want to keep this on. We don't know if they'll come upstairs to find you." Syu looked as Ryoma frowned. He knew the other didn't want to wear his hoodie inside his own house. He had been wearing it practically all day after all. Hearing his door open again he looked to see Mitsu standing their in jeans and long black sleeve shirt.
Syu smirked when he saw the bruise on the others face. It took less than a second for Kunimitsu to give him a look of disapproval. Sitting down on the bed he watch Syu stare up at him. "You know, that bruise makes you look more scarier than normal." Mitsu's lips twitched at the comment. Knowing that the tensai was talking about the freshmen and that all the sixteen year olds were somewhat afraid of the captain.
"Syusuke! I thought I told you to get Ryoma!" They all heard Tomo shout from downstairs. Syu sat up and clipped the boys hood in before offering his hand for the cat to hold. Ryoma took it as he tensai stood so he got pulled up to. As they were about to leave Syu noticed that Mitsu wasn't following.
"You going to hide up here a bit longer?"
"Yeah, I'm going to change Sei's bed as well. It's the least I could do." Mitsu gave him an apologetic look. "I'll be down in half an hour."
As Syu and Ryoma left the room, the tensai told the Seigaku captain that he'll send Kei up. Guessing the monkey king will eventually pull his hair out if he stays downstairs with Tomoko any longer. When they entered the kitchen, like Syu had suspected Kei and the loud one were at each others throats.
"Kei, Mitsu needs you to bring some sheets upstairs for Sei's bed." Keigo sent one last glare at the girl before giving off a sigh of relief and nodding to the tensai to thank him for getting him out of there. Once he left Tomoko had seemed to calm down as well. But it didn't mean she still wasn't angry. She huffed and folded her arms.
"Honestly, Ryoma-Sama how can you live with him? He's so rude." Ryoma not liking the way she had said it, snarled before walking to the front door. All of them followed feeling confused at the fact Ryoma was now just staring at the door. As Tomo was about to ask what he was doing a knock was heard and the cat answered.
"Hello cold hands man." The boy was happy to see the man. It saved him from answering the loud one's question. "What do you have in the bag?" Ryoma realizing he had a plastic bag in his hands. Akitaka handed the boy the bag while telling him not to drink them all in one go.
Ryoma peaked in the bag before his face split into a grin. He jumped up and down in excitement and hugged the mans waist before letting go and running upstairs to hide them. "What did you get him?"
"Ponta. They were on offer so I got 12 cans for him." He looked at all the teens trying to find one in particular. When he couldn't see him he finally asked. "Where's Tezuka?"
"Oh, him and Kei are sorting out Sei's bed after the accident." Syu smiled.
"Wait! Hold it right there!" Tomoko shouted. "Tezuka-Senpai lives here too?" She asked in disbelief. "So there like 5 of you?"
"No six. Their is the Rikkaidai's vice-captain Gen as well." Syu said as he watched Ryoma walking down the stairs with a ponta in hand and humming happily. The tensai smiled. "Ryo-Chan, can I have a sip?" Ryoma looked at him suspiciously before nodding and telling him only a sip. Handing over the can the cat kept an eye on the tensai. After his sip he handed it back with a thank you. Tomo laughed in amusement knowing that it was Syu's childish way of telling the girls that Ryoma wasn't theirs.
As they all sat down in the lounge Ryoma sat in his corner with his eyes closed. He felt exhorted from today. Just as he was about to nod off, Mitsu and Keigo finally came back downstairs. Entering the room Doctor Oishi asked if the Seigaku captain wanted to have his injury checked. He said that he'll live and instead went over to Ryoma. Mitsu sat down next to the cat on the floor and dragged the boy into his arms.
Ryoma couldn't be asked to think who's lap he was in now. Instead he rested his head on the others shoulder and wrapped his arms around their neck. He purred glad that he finally gotten what he wanted since he was told he had to teach two girls tennis this morning. Of course that involved a well deserved rest.
Everything was all sweet and peaceful for the two. Well... Until Sakuno had decided to speak up for the first time. "Umm... Why is he purring like a cat?" As all of them were thinking of excuses the front door slammed open and Gen and Sei enter the lounge. Ryoma didn't even stir at the noise.
"Oh, we have guests." Sei said slightly startled by the amount of people now looking at him. He looked over to Ryoma who was sleeping in Mitsu's arms and smiled. "So you and Ryo-Chan have finally made up." As he was about to carry on he finally took note of the Seigaku's students appearance. "What the hell happened to you face?"
