A Demon Discovers Love Revamp

A/N: Okay, thanks to a lot of feedback, especially from Fifth Rider of Armageddon and EroMachaSlacker, I've decided to revamp my first chapter a lot because that was made by the 10th grade me. I've improved a lot of writing skills and flowing sentences together, so here it is the new and updated chapter 1!

A/N: Jesus Almighty! I'm so friggin' sorry that it's this late since I've posted a chapter! My muse left me for a while, with just thoughts and ideas of updates but I didn't get my groove back until a few months ago during the end of 2020! Here's the updated intro story chapter for A Demon Discovers Love!

XXXXXXXX Takigakure June 8, 1560, Edo Period XXXX

The muggy weather of a swamp or a hidden lake is no place for any normal person, be they man or animal. Thanks to the muggy, and soggy feeling of a swamp, numerous insects and bees were assaulting those who weren't used to the climate or were just wearing too much perfume that attracted said bugs which brings us to our current scene.

The person had lost her voice due to her constant screeching in terror as her skintight hugging cherry red dress covered and stuck to her black shirt through the amount of sweat, she was creating since running away from the mosquitos. Her muddy pants were already stained with numerous splatches of mud and grime as she just continued running, but they grew as she could not find a spot of water to jump into to get her pink hair clean from all the running.

Her two companions who were supposed to help her were no good as they were having difficulty breathing in air due to the amount of laughter they had committed ever since their comrade attracted the enormous swarm of mosquitos. The one with the largest mirth was normally the quiet, serious, and conscientious of their image but right now, he could care less due to the sheer humor of the situation. His face was a river of tears as he couldn't hold his mirth at the situation occurring to a person, he loathed…he didn't wish her death, oh no, he just hated how clingy she was to him, his black hair that was swept back was just as sticky from the murky weather, but his clothing suited him well for dealing with the temperature.

His black undershirt was sticking to his clothing but his blue overshirt dealt with the wind as his shorts had exposed his legs to the elements not full bearing the brunt of the exposure, yet he was comfortable as he looked at his other comrade and couldn't help but wonder…'How the hell can Naruto be comfortable wearing an orange jumpsuit inside of a murky swamp?' His attention was now on Naruto who was recovering from laughter as he was.

Naruto's attire was…utterly pathetic in the form of missions in his mind as he wondered how and why Naruto had not bought any other clothing besides an orange jumpsuit. Seriously, in the…forty-five missions that the team had done, he had not seen any other clothing be on him…oh wait a moment! A stray thought plunged into his mind as he considered what to do as he pulled Naruto up to his feet, as they both dried their tears, he was the first one to break the silence as Naruto slowly dried his blue eyes of tears.

"So, when should we tell her, that there's a stream of water just to the right of her?" Sasuke's voice started off as trolling before it grew into concern in a light baritone as the swarm apparently multiplied by three times its size chasing her before his ally, Naruto raised his voice slightly making Sasuke twitch in annoyance.

"Hey, Sakura! Jump to your left, there's a river right there!" A sudden exclamation of surprise and a splash of water made Naruto perk up before he grabbed Sasuke and pulled him into a shallow patch of water as they heard that same horde of mosquitos fly right over their heads as Naruto perked up over the water break and hauled Sasuke out before they both heard stomping headed towards them.

Both young boys turned to see a very angry, and pissed off Sakura Haruno who was soaking wet, and pointed a single finger at the still duo…" You two knew there was a river, right next to me!? Why didn't you tell me!?" Naruto had the decency to look sheepish while Sasuke just had an infuriating smirk upon his face making her boil in rage before they heard someone call out to them.

The three turned to look at Shibuki as he neared them…along with a girl with green hair who was staring at them intently either in curiosity or exasperation when Naruto voiced up for the squad about how far along the squad was for the clearing of the aftermath between them and Suien, it wasn't that difficult, yet Sakura was complaining about everything.

"Hey Shibuki, how's it going? We finally got all the rubble out of way after the fight, took a little longer though. Sakura didn't want to get her nails dirty or anything." Shibuki nodded at that while the girl raised an eyebrow over an orange eye as she walked near Naruto and decided to speak up with Sasuke and Sakura looking on in concern as she moved over near Naruto. The girl was dressed in a simple white t-shirt, with a stitch-cross of a red vest holding the shirt up exposing her midriff, yet legs were covered by simple shin guards while her orange eyes were on Naruto before she spoke up with some sarcasm in her voice.

"Shibuki told me that you beat Suien? How could a person with blunted kunai and shuriken even aim those correctly? Forget that, how could you even fight him correctly? I saw your fight while I was busy dealing with some of the nuke nin and you quite frankly suck." Naruto sputtered in shock as this monotone girl just had a deadpan stare, yet Sasuke just outright chuckled while Sakura fell into the water again as she laughed.

Turning a betrayed gaze upon the two Naruto just asked a simple question while the girl leaned in with orange eyes ablaze with curiosity "Are you two siding with her? I thought I had your trust!" More laughter was abounded from the two as Sakura brought her giggles under control, yet Sasuke still had an infuriating smirk on his face as Naruto and the girl started talking again about what was wrong with his style along with pointers on what to do.

"So, what exactly was wrong with the way I fought? True, I had some trouble with that guy, but I did hit that teme hard enough to knock him out. I had my clones help me out with setting that bastard up for the knock along with Sasuke here." Here the girl nodded at but proceeded to pace drawing attention to her as Shibuki took a few steps back while Naruto was concentrating on the girl with Sasuke and Sakura looking at the conversation interested.

"True, I won't deny that your friend set you up with shots and stuff but there were tons of other options to choose from. For instance, when you were in the water, you could have planted explosive traps when Suien fell back to keep him off his feet. Another instance, that you could have used to your advantage was setting up some flashbangs with a signal to your raven-haired friend there, to attack while they were distracted." Naruto's jaw dropped as the girl kept hammering home some points making his head drop while Shibuki finally turned to the girl and spoke up for everyone to have her behave.

"Fu, please be nice to these three. I understand that you don't want to be here in the village but lead Naruto to the shops and help him pick out some clothes." Here the girl nodded while Naruto trotted after her making everyone look at them…weirdly. Naruto sighed as he knew those looks and what they truly meant as he was used to the looks from his childhood before the Chunin exams happened and most of them stopped after the invasion along with him helping around the village with Shadow Clones.

"Hey, Fu, what do you think of these clothes?" Naruto held up some clothes that were mostly blue mixed in with gray as he showed them to the girl while she was pursuing some gauntlets before nodding as she motioned to them with some items next to them. Kunai, shuriken, sealing scrolls and a couple more items were next to them that Naruto didn't recognize as Fu started talking while Naruto paid for the items along with sealing them in the scrolls.

"You choose some pretty good threads, the stuff ya got is some of Taki's good stuff. Don't kill yourself with those explosive tags, okay? Those are a pain in the rear." Here Naruto nodded as he knew from experience how bad explosive notes hurt when he launched a few as he was bored, the two walked out with some bags as Fu nodded before heading off another way with Naruto about to follow before Sakura shouted towards him.

"Fu!" The girl turned around as Naruto yelled out while running to join Sakura as he made some words "Next time I'm here, let's hang out again and go on some bounty hunts!" Fu allowed a small smirk to grace her features before she left as Shibuki came up and joined her, seeing Naruto's team out of the village and away.

XXXX Naruto POV XXXX

"Man, I don't know about you folks, but I can't wait to get back home and get some rest in my own bed! It's been far too long! Also, can't wait to try the homemade recipes that Fu gave me! Chicken alfredo and a bunch of other stuff!" Sounds of agreement came from the other members of Team 7 after Naruto said that, as they tree hopped through back to Konoha, it was long with escorting Shibuki, but the return trip was far easier due to them running at ninja speed.

After around three hours of running, the site of Konoha's gates came into view, allowing Sakura to grin and sigh heavily, Naruto looked at them in joy, Sasuke smirked while Kakashi sighed as he grabbed everyone's attention "Okay, listen up, normally I would let all three of you head home immediately, however, due to what happened to us all, we need to report to the Hokage right now." All three sighed tiredly as they nodded at Kakashi while they walked to the Hokage Tower, stares were put on Naruto and words were said as they neared the tower with greetings and welcome back being given around.

Tsunade looked up from the daily reports before her face lit up with joy, relief and happiness seeing the three young rookie Genin return before making a surprised noise seeing Naruto's new attire along with Shizune as she looked at Kakashi and spoke after clearing her throat.

"It's good to see you back, Team 7, I take it the mission was a success based on your attitude however, you are all four days late. I understand that the mission was an escort mission, however it should have done without Kakashi. So, to get this over with, what exactly happened after Kakashi left?" Here the trio of kids shared a look before Naruto pushed Sakura forward letting her start off with what happened between her and Sasuke with Naruto speaking last.

Tsunade rubbed the bridge of her nose, knowing this would be a beneficial contract and relationships between villages but the council would want to get their hands on some of Taki's herbs and spices for multiple reasons. Taki was known to harvest some of the best spices for both nutritional and medical value but acquiring them was a pain.

"Alright, I'm ordering team seven to take three weeks of time off to recoup and relax, after two weeks I'll need to talk to all three of you individually about your stances, ideas, and thoughts. Also, Naruto stay a little longer, I need to talk about your apartment. Some things have happened that require your attention, and I need to hear what you want." Sasuke and Sakura departed while Kakashi gave some more details as to what had happened on the mission he went on before Naruto and Tsunade were left alone in the room.

"So, Naruto, is there anything else about the mission that you didn't tell me?" Here a raised eyebrow was given by Naruto who waited as Tsunade called Naruto over to a room that was adjacent to the Hokage room and placed her hands-on the door speaking before she entered "I know that you edited parts of your own reports from having the other two know about what truly happened. It's only a matter of time before either of those two find out about the Kyuubi sealed within you."

Only once she loaded her chakra through into it, did the true purpose of the room make itself known to Naruto who gaped in pure shock as the room turned dark and intricate seals made themselves visible which spread across the entire length of the room. The room looked massive, but it also felt…different in the vibe that it was giving off to Naruto as he moved around the room like a kid in a candy store to Tsunade.

"Holy crap…those are some interesting seals. Bet Kakashi-sensei's entire stock of that book he reads that Ero-Sennin would love to even see these." Here Tsunade let out a full-blown chuckle and laugh as she slapped her knee before motioning over to the bed and moving Naruto along with her.

"Trust me, he has before stated he would love to scan em. However, these seals vanish whenever he enters this room and tries to view them. Now, the good news is that I'm taking control over some of your training sessions and making certain that Hatake properly teaches all of you." Tsunade mentioned for Naruto to join her on the bed as she unexpectedly hugged him making Naruto be flustered, he never knew what to do in situations like this. "Sadly, there are some bad news particularly about your apartment, I had originally planned for you to move somewhere when you came back." The hug became tighter as Naruto dreaded the next words that were coming out of her mouth due to the strength of the hug.

"However, due to some troublemakers, by the time the ANBU had rounded up everyone,I'm sorry to say this but your apartment was heavily vandalized." Naruto's face dropped at that as he sighed again before Tsunade hugged him into her chest and let him cry as he lost everything in the vandalism. Tsunade let him go after a good five minutes with puffy red eyes before she spoke again "During the time it was vandalized, I had ANBU personally investigate and found out some people participated in it, the ANBU are looking into how it happened occur but make certain that I will take care of it. The ANBU have already located some civilians along with a couple of active duty Genin."

Naruto nodded as Tsunade then smiled and said in a jovial yet trolling tone "In light of the recent actions though, I was able to use this civilian unrest to investigate some problems concerning your academy life, what your sensei didn't teach you and a few other objects that was mandatory when you first formed under his wing. I was also able to wrest more control away from the civilian council." Tsunade mumbled under her breath curse words, leaking out killing intent making Naruto pause as he still remembered where he was now…right inside of Tsunade's boobs. Tsunade smirked as she looked down at a blushing bright red Naruto and let him go after a few more minutes of teasing him and asking if she was 'bigger' than Sakura, but she also paled at the size of his…equipment.

"Aside from that Naruto, due to your reputation most of the places around here won't let you but I know of a place that is very well guarded. It's on the outskirts of the clan compound, it was originally…a known place but due to the Kyuubi attack, its reputation went downhill. It's a place called the Kitsune Apartments," Tsunade allowed a grin and chuckle at Naruto's shocked face before she continued "most people avoid it because they believe that anyone who enters it will be 'cursed' by the Kyuubi." Here both shared a chuckle as Tsunade said some other things along the lines of where he should buy clothing or the like by heading to Higurashi's to purchase good clothing, armor, and weapons to catch up to the others, while Naruto also spoke about the curse seal appearing again on Sasuke's body a bit further than before.

Tsunade's face paled at that before it hardened as she nodded at the information that was being passed on, after Naruto left though, she leaned back in her seat and sighed heavily. During just three days, things had already reached a fever pitch in some parts of the village, hell, she had to ask Nara Yoshino to personally help and that was understating everything. She sighed as she just wished for some sake to drink, but Shizune had taken it away until she was done with some more village matters…damn, now she wanted the drink.

XXXX Konohagakure no Sato Streets XXX

"Hey, Naruto, welcome home! How was the mission?" Teuchi Ichiraku asked his favorite customer who was informing both Iruka and his daughter about the mission and Naruto thought about what to do before he started speaking while waiting for his ramen from the old man who was his dad in everything except blood.

"Hey Teuchi, it was great! We got to see cool sights; the caves held some interesting things, got some new threads, the waterfalls were impressive!" That made Iruka and Teuchi perk up as Ayame gushed about the waterfalls part, yet Iruka sensed there was more than that and decided to press the matter.

"What's this matter about us hearing you say 'we', Naruto? Did you meet a local and get some help?" Naruto perked up at that, before nodding his head while tucking in some more ramen. Teuchi always knew what to do to perk his spirits up after a mission, did the old man have a sixth sense?

"Yeah, I met a local, her name was Fu," Here, Ayame gained some sense of older sister protectiveness, letting out a gasp as Naruto continued with what happened making all three have some praise for the girl "She was helpful, took me to get some gear and whatnot from some of the other shops there, found some cookbooks and learned some sealing arts." Here some more talk about what the scenery was, how the waterfalls changed color and what type of plants were there.

Afterwards, six bowls of ramen later, Ichiraku and Ayame wished Naruto a good evening, started closing the shop with Iruka escorting Naruto towards his apartment only to pause when a Neko masked ANBU landed in front of them.

"Naruto-san, Hokage-sama has had the personal clean your new apartment. Please follow me…Iruka-san? What are you doing with Naruto-san?" Iruka had an expression that was torn between stepping in front of his student and trying to learn why an ANBU was here and couldn't help himself from asking the question.

"What's happened to Naruto's apartment? Isn't he already living in the Tanou Apartments, why would you escort him home?" Naruto visibly flinched at that which didn't go unnoticed by Iruka and the other personal who stared in shock as they couldn't remember when he flinched at all, making the response even more horrifying to Iruka when the ANBU whispered it to him.

Iruka's rectus became furious about what had happened, but he calmed down, though his tightened fists had caused blood to be slightly drawn from how hard he was clenching his fists. As the trio arrived at the Kitsune Apartments, all Naruto could think of 'This place is much more home like to live in than Tanou…' yet the inside held the most that Naruto could ask for. Fresh produce, amenities such as a refrigerator and stove, newly installed and delivered to him, a couple clothes along with a letter from the Hokage herself sat peacefully on the new countertop as Iruka smiled.

"Benten really likes you, Naruto. Remind me to bet for you, not against you." Here Naruto and Iruka shared a laugh as they both toured around the new apartment, it looked much more comfortable than Tanou, along with having a more homelike feel. However, they both jumped when the Neko ANBU spoke up reminding them of her presence, with a sword in one hand and a book in the other.

"It appears that one of the former tenants here, had this katana and a self-made instruction book on maintenance for Kodachi. These were normally ours but it's listed as no good, if you have some spare time, maybe devote yourself to restoring this blade." Naruto nodded at that, while Iruka had a puzzled look on his face that was whirling as Naruto put the sword next to the kitchen counter. The trio decided to explore the apartment complex and made some good discoveries about who was formally there, a couple of journals, some calligraphy sets and what looked like an armor set was there.

All three now shared the same thought that Naruto finally had a delightful home to sleep in, Iruka had left to go report to the Hokage about some side instructions to give Naruto to help him improve, along with finding who harmed his student. Naruto had already suffered enough, Iruka refused to let him get harmed anymore by anything or anyone.
