CHAPTER 94

Outside on the courts Momo, Kaidoh and Arai where standing together. None talking, just looking embarrassed. They looked over to the third years. Mainly Tezuka and Fuji who were standing away from the rest discussing something. They were lost in thought so much that they did even hear the captain call for everyone to run 20 laps for warm up.

They all only realized that they were meant to be running when the tensai came over. "Aren't you meant to be warming up? It's best if you co-operate with Mitsu since he's in a better mood than to what he was in this morning." It was Arai who spoke deciding to voice his question.

"Senpai, are you cheating on that Yukimura?" Fuji's eyes snapped open.

"What do you mean?" His smile was no longer there. "I think you've gotten the wrong idea." The three second years could all feel a chill going down their spines. Arai carried on hoping to try and explain.

"Well... Fuji-Senpai, you're dating that Rikkaidai tennis captain right?" He got a nod from the tensai. "And we all saw you with you hands down you-know-who's shorts." Arai blushed still not believing he walked in on something like that. They all looked to see Syu's reaction only to see him now looking amused and smirking.

"Well, if I'm not cheating on Sei and if what you saw in the changing room is anything to go by what would you think?"

"That you are going out with both and they both know about this." Momo automatically replied without even think about what he had just said. "So Tezuka-Senpai and Yukimura are both also dating. So that would make all of you in..." Fuji didn't say anything, but cut Momo off by putting a finger on his own lips.

"It's a secret. Mitsu's not exactly open about which way he goes and he's not the only one in our relationship either." It was then that it dawned on both Kaidoh and Momo who else Syusuke was referring to. After all Sei didn't care if people knew he was a homosexual or not.

"Are you saying there are six?" Momo wondered thinking about all the ones that live with Ryoma. Arai no longer understanding the rest of the conversation just stood there feeling rather awkward.

"No five and one in progress."

"Wait, so there are five not just three and the sixth on is someone you haven't managed to win over yet?" Arai asked trying to get back into the conversation. Syu chuckled and folded his arms.

"Saa...depends. The last one is stubborn. We better start running before we get assigned more laps." With that Syu left before anymore questions could be asked. Momo watched as the other two second years followed Fuji before looking round wondering where Ryoma had gotten to.

The end of tennis practice came and as Momo was walking out of the school grounds he heard someone calling his name. Turning he watched as Syu came towards him with his ever present smile and Mitsu looking like he needed some strong pain killers. "Neh, Momo can you come round for dinner?"

"Why?"

"Ryo-Chan probably wants you, not us at the moment. We did kind of screw up."

"And you can still smile about that?" Momo asked with a hint of disbelief in his voice. "I think you need to start taking Ryoma more seriously and you need to stop and think about your actions towards him." Tezuka frowned as he stared at Momo.

"What do you mean?" Momo scratched the back of his head in thought wondering if he should tell them or not.

"Senpai's you know when that Shan Yukimura guy told Ryoma about him leaving to carry on an investigation or something like that and me and the kid spent everyday going out for burgers?" Seeing both captain and tensai nod he carried on. "Well he told me his worst fear. Considering he was a wreak, but I have to admit he is good at hiding what he truly feels about things. He told me that he feels like he's going to wake up one day to find that none of this existed. The he'll be back in a cage being stared down on and being punished for things he had no idea of doing." Momo sighed as he looked over the reactions of the two, to find Syu in a state of shock and Mitsu not far behind.

"He then told me about this recurring nightmare he keeps having that he was going to die of starvation as the dark slowly descends on him. That no one would notice he was even there to begin with. This to him feels fake. Imagine his whole life he was taught the way of things from one mans perspective only to have that reality change in a blink of an eye and to be told that there were people looking for him. To be able to go outside, to attend school. This to him feels fake, that's why he pushes away. It's all gone so fast that he can't keep up so he's holding onto the one thing he knows most."

"His master." Syu spoke softly finally understanding the whole thing. "He thinks that if he stays faithful to his master then everything could slow down and he could find something normal in what he currently is going though." Momo laughed as if they hadn't just talked about something which meant a lot to everyone involved.

"You know what Senpai. We sound like girls with their little gossip circles." Syu felt the corner of his lips twitch as they heard Mitsu sigh indicating that Momo was giving his headache a headache. "Anyway, I'm going to have to say no to your offer on dinner. I promised my mum that I would help her round the house today. See you tomorrow." With that he got on his bike and sped down the street.

"Mitsu, I noticed when I talked to Ryo-Chan today that we're not as close as I thought we were. He doesn't trust us." He felt a weight on his shoulder and when he looked he saw the captain hand there as if he was silently agreeing with him.

One thing they took note of was that it was too quiet. Their first guess was to go into the kitchen where they found the butler and doctor cleaning up wood from the floor. Both of then also took notice of the fact that the table was no longer there.

"What happened?" Tomo looked to Mitsu and gave him a tired smile.

"Ryoma lost his temper and threw the table." Tomo stood up putting the small pieces of wood in the bin. "You can all have pizza tonight. I'm going to have to sort some work out. The menu should be in the lounge. For Ryoma you need to order at least three for him, but can you make sure they have some form of meat on them."

"Speaking of which. Where is our kitten?"

"The last I saw of him after he had gotten changed was him rushing out of the door and up to the tennis court. I suggest you leave him for now. " Mitsu left the room and went into the lounge to see Sei laying on the sofa with the remote in his hand as he flicked thought the channels.

"Feeling better?" Hearing a yeah from Sei, Mitsu sat on the armchair and leaned back, closing his eyes. "What are we going to do about Ryoma?"

"Tomo's going to get the master's death certificate, but it might take a while to get a hold of it since it's closed off information. Something about the master having a child and doesn't what that child to be shunned for something a psychopath did... It was something like that from what I listened in on when Tomo was on the phone to Shan. Apparently he's going to fax the documents over sometime this week."

"It's nice to know my conversations are listened to when it was meant to be private." Sei laughed.

"You say that, but aren't you the one that takes photos and walks in on our private moments." Tomo gave Sei a smirk.

"I don't keep the pictures. The ones that are actually appropriate I send to Shan, Kunikazu and Gen'emon so they know what's going on around the house and the others are for Keigo."

"Why would Kei need them?" Tomo paused for a second as he turned to see Syusuke standing behind him. He couldn't believe he had just slipped. It was meant to be a secret, what Keigo was really doing with the photos.

"You're going to have to asked him about that. Now if you don't mind I have to get going to sort out something's. Choose as many pizzas as you feel you need to and remind Keigo to do the washing up." With that Tomo collected his things and left.

"Well, that was weird." Sei commented getting a 'hn' from Mitsu in agreement.
