CHAPTER 97

When both Mitsu and Ryoma had come back down stairs they all noticed that the cat was keeping his head down and holding his tail in both of his hands. Not making any eyes contact with them he went over to his corner and sat down with his ears laid flat against his head.

"Ryo-Chan come and grab a pizza." The cat slowly looked up and towards the boxes on the table. Crawling over he looked into the ones the were open. Taking a quick look and seeing them all watching him, he cast his face towards Mitsu only to stare into his eyes for a split second before going back to the pizza and shoving it in his mouth to tried hide his embarrassment. After he finished the first slice he grabbed another without hesitation and laid on his back holding the pizza in the air so that the cheese slipped off it and landed in his mouth before eating the rest.

Ryoma opened his eyes in panic. Letting his eyes look at the ceiling of the dark room he took in a deep breath before realising it. As the cat was about to push himself up he felt a weight on his stomach. He couldn't remember falling asleep and he couldn't remember how he had gotten into a bed. It was now that he had finally taken in his surroundings only to find himself in Keigo room.

Looking down Sei was fast asleep with his head on the boy's stomach and arms wrapped round his waist. The boy realized that sometime he must of used his legs to hold the blunette in place, since the rest of him was between Ryoma legs. He felt movement beside him knowing that the other four were also in the bed, but what really struck him was that he was wearing nothing but boxers and so were the rest of them. Ryoma could only assume that the blanket had been kicked off some time during the night since with having six bodies all in the same bed did produce a lot of heat.

Ryoma tried to push himself up and bed hoping he could slide out, but when he felt his pillow... someone's arm move he froze and followed what he thought was his pillow up to the joint it was connected to. "Ryoma, don't wake him up." The cat looked to the face to see Gen with his eyes slightly open.

"Can you see me?" The boy asked wondering if it was really as dark as he thought it was. He was never really good at telling how dark it really was since he could see in all kinds of darkness.

"No, I'm guess since you're the only one besides Sei next to me." Ryoma watched as Gen's hand went to the edge of the bed and searched the bedside table to turn the lamp on. When he finally found it Ryoma squeezed his eyes shut and hissed slightly as the light hurting his eyes. "Sorry, forgot your eyes are sensitive." Slowly opening his eyes again and letting them adjust to the light he looked to the hand the vice-captain was running though Sei hair. Once again the cat tried to get himself out of the grip. "Don't." He stopped and glared.

"How did I even end up like this?" Gen smirked slightly.

"After finishing you 8th whole pizza you finally fell asleep. So we all thought to just sleep in the same bed since we're lovers." The black-head watched as Ryoma gritted his teeth and spoke in a dangerous voice.

"I am not your lover. So why am I here?" Gen paused in stroking Sei's hair and grabbed one of Ryoma's hands in his and brought it back to the blunette resting on top of his head.

"Tell me that you don't feel something when you do this?" With that Gen started to move their hands across the hair and over the cheek doing it as light as possible to not wake him up. "To feel happy knowing that he's here for you and getting excited to just spend some time with him." Ryoma felt the funny feeling in his stomach again as his breathing started to get heavier.

"I made a promise to myself a long time ago that I would never love someone in that way as much as I loved Sam again." Ryoma sniffed feeling his emotions bubble to the surface. "I killed him... My little brother. Master gave me him to look after and I killed him."

"I thought you loved your master the most?" Gen looked to his other lovers to see Keigo with one eye open watching and listening in.

"He's only one reason. Sam and the rest of the children were really ill. I couldn't even sleep at night because of the screaming and crying. The only way I could sleep was from fainting, even then I could only guess it was about an hour I would get before being woken up again." Ryoma felt Gen let go of his hand, but he decided not to pull away from Sei and carried on running his fingers though his hair finding some comfort. "Sam was my reason for living, I gave him my whole life so I could protect him. Master was getting more and more busy, so I got left alone a lot more. I only got given Sam because out of all the children their I was the only one that got fed half decently. Master got really angry when he found out I was giving my food to the others."

"So what happened to the others?" Gen couldn't explain how he felt, he had never known someone to go though so much and to hear that despite the cat himself being hungry he would still share his food out to all the other kids.

"They either died of starvation, by the illness, experiments or by..." Ryoma didn't finish as he started to find it hard to carry on speaking as he felt a lump in his throat. He was trying to stop himself from crying seeing as the others were still sleeping.

"You didn't kill them." The cat looked to his other side to see Keigo. "You let them go. There's a difference." Ryoma watched as the Hyotei captain's face turned into a sad smile. "You did the right thing. Even if you think it's wrong now, you did what was best for them at the time. Brat, that doesn't make you a bad person." Ryoma frowned and brought his free hand up to rub his eyes.

"What's the time?" Ryoma asked hoping to change the subject. Both Kei and Gen sighed knowing that Ryoma had decided to close up again. The vice-captains hand went back to the side table and grabbed his mobile pressing a button so the screen lights up.

"It's 4 in the morning." Keigo yawned and looked to Gen.

"Ore-Sama is going to sleep then. Still feel sick from eating too much pizza." With that he rolled over and put his arms round Syu waist. Ryoma went back to looking at Gen.

"Do we have any pizza left?" Chuckling the vice-captain told the cat that there were six boxes left. The boy let out a sigh of relief. "Oh, good. I can have it for breakfast."

"How are you still hungry?" Ryoma looked down to see Sei staring at him.

"I'm not, I just don't want to see it go to waste." Sei faced Ryoma's stomach and let his nose just touch the skin. He heard the cat snort which brought a smile to his lips. "That tickles." The blunette took in a deep breath when he felt hands go though his hair and grab it gently.

"Ryo-Chan." Sei mumbled into the boy's stomach. "If I can't love you can I at least like you more than like?"

"What is liking me more than like?" The boy shivered when Sei kissed the end of the scar at the bottom of his chest. "And don't kiss me." Ryoma's hands went limp to his side as Sei went further up placing small kisses.

"It means that it is really liking you, almost loving you." He got closer and closer until Sei was kissing Ryoma's neck. "All you have to do is to let us have you as ours and we will be yours." The next second Sei found his face looking to his right and his left cheek stinging. He felt himself being pushed up and watch as Ryoma slipped under and down to the end of the bed.

"I belong to no one." With that he left the room as Sei groaned at realizing what the boy actually thought he meant. Sei felt one of his arms being dragged until he looked at Gen.

"Come on get a bit more sleep before we have to wake up. He'll be fine." With that the blunette laid his head on Gen's shoulder and closed his eyes, while the vice-captain turned off the light."
