CHAPTER 101
Syu had to admit Sei's plan was good, but he knew the boy was going to get hurt a lot in order for it to work. What made it worse was that Mitsu was going to have to play the bad guy. Him and Sei had been texting for a good 2 hours. That included all though lunch as well. Letting Mitsu in on what they were doing, but not telling him everything.
Mitsu hated the idea. He didn't want to go along with it, but he had no choice when Syu had given him the look. It was the one that said don't go against me or you'll be suffering for the next 50 years. But that wasn't the only thing that annoyed him. After Syu had gotten his point across he had sent small smiles to him. Almost telling him that their was something that he would loved to know but he wasn't going to tell him anytime soon.
When the end of the day came and they were heading to the changing rooms Mitsu paused just outside and shoved Syu making sure not to do it harshly, which pushed the tensai's back go against the wall opposite the door. He trapped him between his arms.
"What is it that you're going to hold against me?" Syu opened his eyes so he could stare into his lovers. "Syu I won't go along with anything if you don't tell me the whole story."
"Ryoma's meant to try and kiss you when we get home." Mitsu leaned forward until their forehead touched.
"Try?" This time the tensai gave him a sadder smile.
"Yeah. Every time Ryo-Chan wants affection we give it to him without a second though. Me and Sei guessed that if we don't react and reject him instead it could hopefully spark something for him. Of course Ryo looks to you and Sei the most so we thought it best if you're the bad guy."
"Why is Ryoma meant to kiss me?" He whispered into the others lips.
"Because we have good blackmail on him and Sei told Ryo that if he kisses you then he won't tell you. So if you say no to him what would happen to this so called secret that he's trying to keep from you?"
"What is this secret?" Mitsu closed his eyes for a second knowing if he lost his patience that it would give Syu an advantage. Instead of an answer he heard a chuckle and then lips pressing against his.
"That's the thing me and Sei are holding against you as well. If you follow the plan we'll tell you what our adorable Ryo-Chan did." With that Syu ducked under Mitsu's arm and went inside the changing room.
"Wow Senpai." The captain's head snapped to the voice to see Arai staring at him. "Fuji-Senpai has you wrapped round his little finger doesn't he?" Mitsu looked back to the changing room door, letting out a sigh. He already knew how much control Syu had over him. He didn't exactly want others pointing it out.
"Arai, 20 laps." With that Mitsu went to go get changed.
Both Sei and Ryoma had spent a couple of hours on the cat 's homework and Ryoma had the rest of the pizza for lunch. After it was finished, the blunette stuck on a movie for the boy to watch while he did his own work. Tomo had come back and was working in the kitchen. What Sei had found annoying was that Ryoma didn't press for information on the photo he was given.
Sei heard the front door open and turned his head. Seeing Keigo he smiled as he got up and dragged the other up the stairs. Knowing Ryoma was too distracted from what was on the screen to take notice. When Sei closed his bedroom door, the self proclaimed king was about to argue when the blunette put a hand over his mouth.
"Shh..." He shoved his free hand into his pocket and brought out his phone. Pressing some buttons he brought up the conversation him and Sei were having. "Read this." Keigo smirked.
"Oh, seems the brat really knows how to use it." Reading more his eyes started to twinkle at all of this. "You are truly the devils reincarnation Sei. Do you really think Mitsu won't cave in?"
"We're using the secret against Mitsu. He knows there is one, but not what it's about." Kei sat on the edge of the bed still reading the rest of the conversation. "We'll all just keep an eye on Ryoma anyway to make sure he doesn't do anything drastic when it comes to making Mitsu give in first."
When it was getting closer to dinner Mitsu and Syu still hadn't come back. Sei had gotten a text from the tensai telling him that him and Mitsu were buying the tennis supplies for the club and they will be late home.
Keigo was stretched out on the sofa while Ryoma had taken to being on top of him. His head was on the Hyotei captains chest as he listened to the beating heart. Sei and Gen were cuddled up on the arm chair going though all the class work that the blunette needed to catch up on.
When the front door opened they all looked to the door waiting. As soon as Mitsu enter he looked round to see Ryoma just staring at him. He waited for something to happen. Everyone was holding their breath. Even Syu wasn't even attempting to smile as he stood behind Mitsu.
Ryoma pushed himself up. Getting off of Kei and slowly made his way towards the Seigaku captain. He reached out pulling at the others shirt. His body was shanking. He was afraid of what would happen. Ryoma knew what he felt for the other and that's what made it so difficult. He felt like he was betraying everything he stood by.
Mitsu crouched down waiting for Ryoma to carry on. One of the boy's hands went up and touched the others cheek. Ryoma traced the bruises on his nose before bring his thumb down to Mitsu's lips. Tracing the bottom lip the boy's eyebrows creased as he concentrated on the task ahead of him. His face got close and closer. As he was about to place his own on the captain's he felt a finger on his lips stop his. He cat felt frozen at seeing Mitsu's finger stopping him.
"Why, do you want to kiss me?" Ryoma's eyes widened. He couldn't answer. Mitsu saw the brief flash of pain run though the boy's eye. In the cats mind he thought what he really wanted to say almost unconsciously. 'Because I love you.' In his head it sounded so simple, but wanting the words to form from his mouth was another challenge entirely.
"I... I..." He couldn't. His hands went and gripped the Seigaku captain's shoulders. "I need to." He spoke softly as if not believe he had said that.
"That's not good enough." Mitsu whispered back. He brought his own hands up and grabbed the boy's taking them off his shoulders. "I need to go get changed." He said as he left the room. Ryoma just stayed in the same place looking at the spot where Mitsu was.
Kunimitsu heaved a sigh as he closed the door to his room. He had seen what Ryoma was saying just by looking into the boy's eyes, but he understood the others idea. If the boy could admit it, it would make life easier for everyone. Going over to his bedside table he opened the draw and grabbed his secret stash of headache tablets. Looking to his bed he paused in thought knowing that he duvet had been changed. Frowning he decided to drop that for now, knowing it had something to do with Ryoma. After taking the tablets he changed into a pair of Pyjama's and went down to grabbed some dinner.
At the table it was quiet. Everyone even Tomo were staring at Ryoma who wasn't eating and just poking at his food. As soon as Mitsu had sat down the cat stood. Keeping his head down so not to make eye contact with anyone.
"I'm not hungry." With that he left and went back into the lounge turning the television on and finding something to distract him.
"So does anyone want to tell me what that was about?" They all looked to the butler. All feeling slightly guilty knowing Ryoma would never skip a meal. They said nothing and Tomo only shook his head in disappointment. "Well, what ever you're planning at least make sure his health doesn't suffer from it. I don't want to see him revert back to the state Shan found him in." They ate the rest of the meal in silence all thinking over different out comes to all of this.
