CHAPTER 107
"No, we were actually here to spend some time with each other." Keigo spoke seeing if they would get the hint that it was meant to be just the six. Sadly nether Momo or Kikumaru had. The red-head sat in what originally was Ryoma's seat. While Momo had grabbed a chair from another and pulled it over. As they sat Inui stared at them knowing full well what Atobe meant.
Pushing his glasses up, The data collector knew his fellow third years won't say anything about them joining even if they were against it and pulled a chair sitting in-between Momo and Syu. He had to admit at least he could get some good data seeing as they were with Ryoma and the boy had no idea about keeping something's quiet.
Despite Mitsu telling Ryoma not to be nosy even he was curious as to why Kawamura had come here. Kei had exchanged a look with Gen when they both saw that once again the Seigaku captain was looking over to another table at the far side of the café.
"For someone who normally minds his own business, you do seem to be rather interested Mitsu." Snapping his head back he looked to see Kei with a smirk. As they were about to carry on a woman suddenly entered and headed straight to Kawamura.
"Oh thank god!" She exclaimed. "So you managed to contact him. I haven't seen him for a week." They all watched from a distance. It was Momo who asked the question that was on all their minds.
"Do you think she's his girlfriend? I never knew Senpai went for the elder women, then again she can't be that much older. She looks to be in her early 20's at least." All silently agreeing they went back to listening.
"If you don't mind me asking why is he avoiding you?" Kawamura asked shyly, hoping he wasn't over stepping the boundary.
"We got a phone call last week telling me they had found my husbands body or what was left of him anyway. They said he had dead for at least 7 years. It's strange though he disappeared a year before he died. I wonder what could of happened in a single year."
"His going after a widow, nya. Brave man." Eiji spoke softly looking at Kawamura in a new light. "We should try help him out."
"Eiji-Senpai I think she's just a friend. If they were dating shouldn't he be like hugging her by now?" Momo whispered back.
"There is only a 0.1% chance that he would be dating her." Inui added offhandedly. They stopped when Ryoma turned round.
"Shh, listening to a conversation means you don't talk. It's hard to hear when you can hear another conversation at the same time." Just as he was about to turn back their orders finally arrived. "Food!" Ryoma forgot about Kawamura and the mysterious woman as he let his attention get carried away by what was placed in front of him.
Not one to waste time when it came to eating he stuck his finger in the cream on top before placing it in his mouth. Moaning at the sweetness, he dipped his finger in again. Leaning over the table as much as he could since Mitsu's arms were still round his waist. He held it in Sei's direction.
"Try it, try it." Smiling Sei brought his face closer talking the boy's index finger into his mouth. Even the blunette had to admit it tasted just right. The flavour was really sweet, which was perfect for the boy. When he knew he had taken all the cream off the cat's finger he thought that Ryoma would pull away instead his hand stayed completely still. Sei looked into his eyes only to feel a bit of shock run though him.
Ryoma's eyes had drooped slightly along with his pupils being dilated. His cheeks dusted in a pink and mouth had opened a little bit. The blunette didn't know whether to feel giddy that the boy had been turned on by him or worried that they were in a public place where anyone could notice which meant he couldn't make a move without others from different tables staring.
Taking his mouth away he kissed the tip before answering. "It's great Ryo-Chan. Just as sweet as you." He watched as the boy's face scrunched up before looking away in embarrassment. Glancing up the boy was about to stick his finger back into the treat but felt someone grab his wrist. Looking to his side he watched as Gen held a spoon in his other hand. Taking the metal object with a thank you he started to dig in to his meal letting off a small purr as he did.
When he had finished he paused and looked up to Mitsu. "Didn't you order anything?"
"I ordered coffee." The Seigaku captain said the he pointed to the cup on the table.
"Why would you want something as bitter as that?" The cat turned his nose up at it. Looking over to the others Ryoma found Syu and Sei sharing one between them. "What have you two got?"
"It's called a black forest gateau." It was then that they heard the door slam open once again and it was also once again that Ryoma found himself growling. The boy was watching, not even blinking as he waited for Jin Akutsu to make the first move. Instead he walked straight passed and over to Kawamura and the woman he was with. All of them taking notice of the bruise that was on his neck.
"Ryoma, what wrong? Stop growling." He didn't listen as Mitsu whispered words into his ear. "If you stop we'll do something later. Just the two of us." He spoke softly again for only the boy to hear. Slowly coming back to his surroundings, Ryoma shuffled so he could straddle the other.
"Anything?" He whispered back. Hearing a 'hmm' coming from Mitsu's throat in agreement, Ryoma licked his lips. "Can we kiss later... With tongues." Pulling back the captain took in the red face of the boy. He had to admit with those plasters on his face the cat looked even more innocent than normal. It was quiet for a few seconds since both were caught in a small moment until Inui spoke up.
"I'm going to say there is at least an 80% chance that you two have finally decided to date each other." He stated as he pushed his glasses back up his nose. As they were about to answer they heard a bang across the room.
"What!" Jin shouted as he stood, slamming his hands down onto the table. "Why the hell do we have to have a funeral for someone who walked out on us 8 years ago?"
"Jin, please keep your voice down." His mother begged. "He was your father. Don't you think he deserves that much?"
"He was the person who left you in debt and walked out on us when I was 10. Do you really think scum like that deserves to be buried?" Kawamura felt stuck in the middle. Sure he wasn't talking, but he knew he was the one to devise for Jin to come.
"Umm..." He tried to get their attention. "Don't you think you should sit down?" Snapping his eye to the Seigaku student, Akutsu glared.
"Don't give me orders." He spoke in a threatening voice. Grabbing the ice drink in front of him he tipped it upside down letting all the content fall on Kawamura before walking away. As he passed the table Ryoma was at he took one glance before leaving the café completely.
Ryoma sat there in thought. 'He smells familiar to someone I knew back then.' Looking to the now upset woman the boy stood and walked over. Mitsu had tried to stop him, but the cat seemed to of became serious which meant this was important. Without a choice he had let Ryoma go to try sort out what ever was on his mind.
Ryoma stared down at the lady. She had felt eyes on her and when she decided to finally look up she met gold. "Is there something you need?" She asked thinking that the boy could be lost.
"What's your name?" The woman was taken back slightly by the question. Blinking, she looked back into the boy's eyes to see he was genuinely curious.
"I'm Yuuki Akutsu." Ryoma felt his shoulders tense. 'Akutsu...' He knew that from somewhere. Thinking back he saw a face of a man pass though his head.
"Do you know someone called Jinsei Akutsu?" She narrowed her eyes.
"I do. That was the name of my husband before he died." Ryoma suddenly found out why he had found the one that had hurt Arai so threatening. Jin Akutsu's father was the first to die by his hand all them years ago.
