CHAPTER 113
Ryoma was sitting in the bath tub as he leaned back letting Gen was his hair. He was stuck in his opinion with what to do about Syu.
"Gen, how do you love more than one person?" He asked as he felt fingers massage his scalp. He felt the movement pause for a second while the other thought before starting up again.
"It's just something that happens. Sei was the first I've ever loved. I was about 7 when I claimed to myself he was my secret crush." Gen rubbed the boy's ears gently trying not to pull any hair or get any soap in them.
"A secret crush?" The cat wondered.
"It means I never told him. Even till now I only really ever confessed when Syu suggested about the relationship. Everyday though the years where I didn't tell Sei how I felt I just wanted him more, but the more scared I was to tell him since we've been friends for so long." The vice-captain grabbed the shower head. Turning the tap and rinsing off the shampoo.
"So how do you end up with Kei if you were so in love with Sei?" Hearing a chuckle from the older one, the cat closed his eyes as he leaned his head back so the front of his hair could have the bubbles removed.
"A tennis match." It was silent as Ryoma thought about it.
"How can a tennis match do that much? Wouldn't you need something more than that?" Hearing a sigh, as the water stopped running.
"Doing things together with others, brings you closer. It doesn't always have to be intimate. From simple conversations to just playing a game of tennis. You can learn more about someone that way than from a kiss." The boy stood reaching his arms towards Gen as the other wrapped a towel round the boy's shoulders.
"So I should have a tennis match against Syu?" Ryoma asked as he walked in front of Gen with the towel tightly wrapped round him, entering the bedroom the boy got changed thinking over what was said. "Gen, thank you." With that he ran from and down the stairs leaving a surprised vice-captain behind.
Ryoma was now sitting at the table, moaning in bliss as he stuff his third beef burger. "Cow, oh cow. Oh my wonderful cow. I know you didn't taste that bitter." He muttered as his head went back as he stared at the ceiling.
"So what kind of bitter was it? I mean the one from your dream?" Tomo asked as he took the boy's plate sticking it in the sink. Gen and Kei were on the other side of the table also curious of what the cat thought.
"Taste slightly like Mitsu's mouth." Both the Hyotei and Rikkaidai student's smiled. "Might be from the... Kiss." He whispered the last word as his face went red, but all of them still managed to hear. "I don't know about the rest of the flavour, still some-what Mitsu though."
Tomo patted the boy on his head as he left the room calling for Keigo that they were going to leave in a minute to go to the mansion to pick Keiichi up. As the two left Ryoma looked to Gen waiting for the other to suggest something. The 18 year old could only shake his head. "Come on. We'll watch a movie."
Keigo had now been standing at the entrance of the mansion for over 10 minutes. He felt awkward. Despite this being his other home he had never felt truly comfortable there. Hearing a voice, the Hyotei captain frowned as slowly made his way to the study. As the voices got louder and louder he could just make out the it was something to do with him. He was about to push the door open when he felt himself being pulled back and a hand going over his mouth. Looking up in panic he was met with Tomo.
Letting himself be guided further from the door he finally felt the hand from his mouth move. "Why the hell did you do that?"
"Keigo, go to the kitchen and stay there. Your grandfathers here. We're still going out. We just need to get rid of the old man." Nodding he left for the destination knowing full well he didn't want to see that man. After all the amount of Play dates as the man like to call them when he was younger, was not something he wanted to go though again. He had forgotten nearly all the faces of the girls he had to go out with, but what made it worse was that he needed to act like a gentleman and pretend that he was actually enjoying himself. He hated it when he was five and living in England, he still hated it now at 18. Nothing was going to change it.
Tomo gave Keigo a strained smile as he watched him do as he was told. The butler had gotten changed into his work uniform as soon as one of the maids had told him of Keishi's appearance in the mansion. Grabbing the tray of tea and biscuits that he had put down in haste to stop his son from entering the room he swiftly knocked on the door and entered.
"Atobe-Sama." He spoke with fake happiness as he placed the tray on the desk. "It's great to see your doing well. I hope your business in America went according to plan." Keishi smiled as he took in the butlers appearance.
"Yes, we managed to open the hospital there and it seems it's making a good income." Keiichi could feel his whole body relax when Tomo had entered. He could always trust the other to take the attention away from him. He knew though that his father could change the conversation like that and both weren't surprised when he had carried on, but on a completely new subject. "I was just telling my son that Keigo is old enough now to get married. I would like a great-grandson before I die." Tomo searched his mind.
"I'm afraid we're unable to do that at the moment. Young Atobe-Sama is having problems when it comes to the business itself. So Keiichi Atobe-Sama had asked that he be kept away from distractions until we could get him back on course with what is happening." They heard a sigh from the old man.
"I see. Though I wouldn't be surprised if you were the one that thought of that Tomo and you're just covering for my sons uselessness." The butler put his hands behind his back, balling his hands into fists.
"I'm afraid your wrong. This really was your sons idea." Arching a brow Keishi looked from Tomo to Keiichi.
"I'll give you a few months before I want him to start going over his options of potential wives." With that the man left without even a goodbye. As soon as the door closed Tomo sighed, walked round the desk and brought Keiichi into his arms, holding him tightly.
"Are you alright Ichi?" He whispered, knowing how scared the other truly was about his own father. Feeling a nod from the other, Tomo kissed his forehead. "I'm going to get changed. You, have some tea and calm down before going to see Keigo. I'm sure he's going to demand some answers as to why his grandfather was here." With another nod they shared a small kiss together before Tomo left the room.
Sei closed his eyes and leaned back in the chair as he felt the needle go in his arm. He tensed as the feeling. "Alright?" Looking into the sky blue eyes of Syusuke he smiled.
"Yeah, just thinking of Ryo-Chan. I wonder if we're actually going to tell him what he did to Mitsu?"
Mitsu was sitting in the student council room with Oishi as they went though information about their next opponents and as he looked at some of the requests from students. Unconsciously his hand went down and rubbed the inside of his thigh, he smiled softly as an image of the sleeping cat was stuck in his head.
