^^' so sorry for it being years since I've done anything with this story. Since I was told that St. Chocolate's Day is centered more around girls confessing to boys, I had to get a little creative. I hope it sounds fine. I apologize if you don't think it's as good as the other chapters and if there is some OCCness; it's been quiet a while since I've written much.

This will be a mix of both the manga and the anime, especially since I'm intending to have Night 3 based on the anime as I think I can have more fun with with that.

"Hurry up!"

"Hold on, the ribbon."

"Who are you giving that to?"

"What? You know who!"

"Morning, today is a special day!"

From inside the Moon Dorms a form laid underneath a blanket. Only a mop of messy blond hair could be seen of the person, though that changed quickly as the blanket suddenly shifted. In moments, a head popped out and revealed said person to be none other than Hanabusa Aido. He groaned as his eyes slowly opened, looking as if he had just woken up.

"I was just about to fall asleep." He complained tiredly. Sighing, he rolled from his side, which he had been laying on, to his back and lifted his blanket off his upper body as he sat up.

"It's so noisy outside. It must be the Day Class girls. What is it?" The vampire asked, his head bowed sleepily as he rubbed his eyes. He heard his cousin get out of bed and lifted his head to look at him but jerked as a blinding light hit him in the face.

"Akatsuki! It's too bright!" He growled, glaring at his cousin as he threw his blanket over his head to shield himself from the sunlight. Akatsuki, who had moved the curtain away from the window to look outside, ignored him. Unlike Hanabusa, who was wearing expensive blue silk pajamas, the redheaded vampire was topless.

"Yeah... the Day Class girls are all excited." He revealed, using his free hand to shield his eyes from the sun. From behind him, Hanabusa continued to glare as he maneuvered his body so his back was facing the window.

"Oh." The taller vampire said suddenly, a look of realization appearing on his face as he backed away from the window slightly, "I know what it is. Today is-"

"What?!" Hanabusa snapped impatiently from underneath his blanket, a mark of irritation throbbing at his forehead. Akatsuki ignored his cousin's grouchiness as he grinned and looked over to him.

"The day girls give chocolates to the guys they like to proclaim their love. ST. Chocolate's Day."

~Outside the Moon Dorm Gates~

Yuki's eyes widened in disbelief as he stared at what laid in front of him. At least a few dozen girls were crowding the Moon Dorm gates, all of them holding colorful boxes of chocolates. Every one of them was talking excitedly, either out loud to themselves or to the person next to them. A couple even went as far as to call out the name of the Night Class student they liked. Their combined voices made the area so loud that Yuki be wouldn't surprised if the Night Class students could hear them by this point.

"W-what? But it's only morning; why are the girls already waiting for the Night Class?" He asked himself aloud, unable to contain his shock. He knew that some of the girls could get a little crazy when it came to their 'love' for the Night Class but he never expected anything like this to happen.

Without further hesitation, Yuki dashed forwards. As he made his way towards the front of the gates, the boy did his best to avoid bumping into any of the girls. The few he did end up brushing up against didn't seem to care all that much, though; being far too distracted with excitement to notice. In fact, none of the girls seemed to even realize Yuki was there until he jumped on top of the wall. There, he pulled a whistle out of his pocket, which had 'Yuki's whistle, keep your mitts off, Yasuko' scratched onto it, and blew into it as hard as possible.

"Everyone in the Day Class has classes now and the Night Class will be trying to sleep. Please go back to your classrooms." He ordered, his cheeks a little pink from the force he used on the whistle. Unfortunately, though a few of the girls did quiet down, many of them were still determined to get over the wall.

"I'm going to offer my chocolate!" One girl in pigtails and glasses proclaimed, sitting on the shoulders of her friend as she tried to reach the top of the wall. The girl underneath her helped further by pushing on her legs while stating an 'and mine!'

"Hey, you there!" Yuki shouted as he noticed what the two were doing, his face becoming a shade darker in irritation. "Don't climb the walls!"

Either startled by his shout, or just becoming off balanced, the girl's eyes widened as she tilted backwards. With a surprised huh, she slipped off of her friend's shoulders and began to fall backwards with a small scream. Those around her could only watch in shock and Yuki's eyes widened as he leaned forwards and stretched out his arm but was too far away to catch her.

"Watch out!" He shouted too late, as the girl had fully slipped from her friend and was heading back first to the hard ground below. However, rather than smacking against the ground, the girl landed safely in a pair of arms.

As she had closed her eyes while she fell, the girl had no idea who saved her. She kept her eyes closed for a second longer to recover from what happened before opening them. When she did surprise overcame the girl as she saw that the person who caught her was none other than Yasuko Kiryu; who seemingly just arrived in the area.

"U-um, thank you, Kiryu-Senpai." The girl stuttered, surprise clear on her face as well as a small blush.

"Wait a go, Yasuko!" Yuki cheered, pumping his fists into the air. Yasuko ignored the praise as she placed the girl back onto her feet, a cool expression on her face.

That changed quickly as her eyes narrowed coldly and a scary aura floated off of her. The pigtail girl Yasuko just put down yelped and flinched backwards in fright, her left arm raising as if she were defending herself. Everyone else took an uneasy step backwards and, aside from a few whispers, the area was finally quiet.

"Listen here and listen good, because I'm only going to say this once." She said, her voice surprisingly calm compared to the look she was giving everyone. It was obvious Yasuko was really irritated but was doing her best to control her temper. From behind her, Yuki jumped from the wall and walked over to stand next to her.

"The Night Class never leaves the Moon Dorms during the day. If you have something you want to give them, come back at twilight when they come out to attend class." Yasuko explained, and Yuki looked at her, frowning. She wasn't going to say what he thought she would, was she?

"If you make too much of a fuss, this event, which is held only once a year, may be canceled."

Yep, she went there. As expected the girls became angry and all began to boo as they walked away. Some even snapped insults and others demanded not to be glared at. Yasuko ignored all of this as Yuki sighed from beside her. He shook his head slowly as he reached up and placed a hand on her shoulder.

"You know, even if you don't care about getting friendship chocolates from them, you don't have to say something that makes you the enemy of all the girls on ST. Chocolate's Day." Yuki lightly scolded. He pulled his hand away when Yasuko turned her annoyed gaze to him, a throb mark on her forehead.

"I don't care about getting chocolates from them, and neither should you." She stated, her tone no less annoyed even though the girls were gone. A frown appeared on Yuki's face and he blinked.

"Huh? I don't really care if I get any chocolates, though." He admitted, confused to why Yasuko brought that up. He's never been given any before, so why should he start expecting them now? Sure, if someone offered him one, Yuki would accept it but he didn't have high hopes; especially considering many of the Day Class girls didn't like him all that much.

"Not even when this may be the year you get something from your dearest hero?" The girl asked, a bite of bitterness detected in her tone as her eyes hardened. Caught completely off guard, Yuki's own eyes widened and he jolted as a deep blush found it's way onto his face.

Where did this come from?! All he was trying to say was that Yasuko should be nicer to the girls on events such as this. As annoying as the fan girls could get, Yuki knew that nothing good would come from yelling at them or threatening to cancel the event. So when did this suddenly become about him and Kameko?

"Well, if she ends up giving me something then I'll accept it, but I'd do that for anyone. Even you, Yasuko." He answered shyly, rubbing the back of his neck. Yasuko stared at him for a moment before she sighed heavily and turned her head to look away from him.

"Whatever, I don't care. What else do you want me to do?" She grumbled and it took Yuki a moment to realize she was talking about how she made the girls angry. Lowering his hand, the boy inwardly frowned but decided to ignore the girl's cold reply as the topic changed.

"Huh?" He asked. The female blinked and her expression remained cold as she half turned to look at the wall behind them.

"Our role is to make sure the Day Class doesn't find out the truth about the Night Class." She reminded, shoving her hands into the pockets in her skirt. Yuki frowned and his face took on a serious look of it's own as he followed Yasuko's gaze.

"Yeah. We've got to be on our guard tonight." He agreed, gazing at the top of the wall as if he could see over it. Right, it was their job to protect the academy's secret that the Day Class didn't know about; the secret that Night Class is for vampires.

"Come on. The Headmaster will be waiting for us." Yasuko said, her tone now calmer as she began to walk away. Yuki blinked and turned away from the wall to see that the girl was already a good ten feet ahead of him.

"Ah! Hey, wait up!" He shouted and ran after her.

~In the Moon Dorms~

Akatsuki bared his fangs as a heavy yawn forced it's way past his lips. Tears appeared in the corners of his closed eyes and he let go of the curtain; which fell back into place over the window and returned the room to the darkness. Continuing to yawn, the hand that had held the curtain opened ruffled through his hair; making his already messy red locks even messier.

"I'm looking forwards to sunset. This is the biggest festival of the year." He said, lowering his hand as he walked back to his bed with a 'sleep well' to his cousin. Now that it was dark again, Hanabusa snuggled back into his bed; his blanket covering up to his chin.

"Yeah, you're right. I'm looking forwards to the chocolate. Although, I prefer blood for my dessert." He stated cheerfully, his mood clearly improved now that it was quiet and that the window was once again covered. Echoing his cousin's 'sleep well' the two fell asleep in a matter of moments.

~The Headmaster's Office/Yuki's P.O.V~

"So today is ST. Chocolate's Day. The whole school is very excited about it. Something may happen that will reveal the Night Class's secret. Please be on your guard more than usual, school guardians!" The Headmaster announced, his gloved hands clasped together as his elbows rested on his desk. Despite it not being all that cold today, he had decided to wear his striped fur coat and hat but, by this point in my life, I knew it was better not to ask why.

As for his desk, I wasn't all that surprised he had not yet replaced it. The large crack that Yasuko caused a few weeks ago was covered in about a dozen or so strips of tape. The Headmaster had even nailed a thick board in the middle. While I understand it'd be pointless to get a new desk, especially with the risk of that one becoming damaged as well, he could have at least done a better job at repairing this one.

"Roger that, Headmaster!" I declared, throwing my left arm up in salute. I heard Yasuko sigh from beside me.

"Why don't you just cancel the event." She suggested grumpily. I didn't look but I could imagine she was glancing off to the side with a tired expression on her face.

"If I do that, Kiryu, there will be a riot. It's an event to let off steam." The Headmaster explained and I nodded in agreement as I lowered my arm. It doesn't normally last long, but things always seem calmer after events like this; even if it's only for a couple days.

"It's because our vampire boys are all so beautiful and excellent. Well.. if they're our allies, then they're a great resource to us. So I can't blame the girls for becoming a little over excited every now and then." He smiled, shrugging as a small blush appeared on his cheeks. I shivered as the air around me suddenly got cold and I tensed. He shouldn't have said that.

"And besides, the Night Class students look forwards to this day almost as much as the girls. Many of them have a sweet tooth, you know. It'd be just as cruel to them if I cancel the event."

Or that. Looking next to me I saw that Yasuko was glaring at the Headmaster with all her might. I could also hear the sounds of wood snapping and saw that her fingers were puncturing the already damaged desk. How she does that without breaking a nail, or even giving herself a splinter, amazes me sometimes. The first time I witnessed Yasuko dig her fingers into a wooden surface it freaked me out a bit.

"I don't give a damn if it upsets them! Don't flatter them in front of me! Is what Yasuko's thinking." I loudly whispered, covering the side of my face closest to Yasuko. If she heard me than she ignored me as she continued to death glare the Headmaster who deadpanned; a bead of sweat appearing on his cheek.

"Yes..." he agreed uncomfortably, turning his head away to avoid Yasuko's gaze. Fortunately, though it was clear she was still unhappy, Yasuko's glare died down as the Headmaster stood from his seat and turned his back on us.

"Well since ancient times, vampires have been the enemies of humans but there are vampires who want to peacefully co-exist. I'm proud that I can educate the children of such vampires. That way the children can become the bridge between vampires and humans." He told us, his tone returning to a more serious note. His hands linked behind his back as he looked at something I couldn't see out the window.

"Yasuko, I know it will be difficult, but someday you will come to understand my philosophy." The Headmaster told her, his tone gentle yet also somehow somewhat stern. My heart gave a small jerk as I noticed the hurt expression appear on Yasuko's face and I began to fidget uncomfortably.

"That's impossible unless you can make the past disappear." She whispered bitterly, her head tilting towards the floor. It was loud enough that the Headmaster heard and he turned his head back to look at us. Or rather at her.

"Because they're nothing more than beasts in human form who drink the blood from living humans, right?" He asked, though I knew it was more of a statement. I'm not the only one that's good at guessing what Yasuko is thinking at times.

In a matter of seconds an uneasy silence overtook the room. Yasuko hung her head and her eyes became obstructed by her hair. The Headmaster continued to look at her with a serious expression and I looked between the two nervously. The uncomfortable feeling from a moment ago got worse as the air around me seemed to thicken. The atmosphere had become so intense that, I knew if I didn't do something quick, things could go from bad to worse very fast.

'What do I do, what do I say?' I thought in panic, desperate to change the atmosphere and lighten the mood. Fortunately, my brain chose that moment to remind me what I had in my pocket so I quickly pulled it out and leaned over the Headmaster's desk.

"Here, Head- father. I have a ST. Chocolate's Day gift for you." I said, blushing a bit as I quickly corrected myself and held out my homemade coupons to him. He blinked in surprise but fortunately didn't comment on the fact I had called him father as he took the gift and opened it.

"Ah! It's Yuki's coupons for two hours of father son time!" He gushed and began to play with them gleefully. I sweat dropped at his antics but nonetheless sighed in relief as I turned to face Yasuko.

"And I got one for you as well, Yasuko." I told her, tossing the other homemade coupon to her. She looked slightly surprised but caught it and flipped it open between two of her fingers.

"Good for one errand." She read before looking at me with a deadpanned expression. "You realize that it's unorthodox for you to give us gifts, right? Yet you've done it since grade school and it's always the same thing."

"Oh, shut it. If you don't want it, then don't use it." I huffed, puffing my cheeks out as I felt my face become a little red again. Yasuko closed her eyes and sighed but didn't respond as she put the coupon in her skirt pocket. She didn't look happy about it but I knew my gift wasn't the reason why.

"Alright, let's go! First period is about to begin." I then declared, grabbing Yasuko by her shirt sleeve to pull her with me as I made my way out of the room. She didn't resist and we soon left the Headmaster alone; who I could still hear gushing about my gift behind us.

For the first couple minutes, Yasuko and I walked in silence. The halls were empty and I could hear some of the teachers beginning their lectures as we past their rooms. I was in no hurry to get to class, though. Our teacher knew we were going to have a meeting with the Headmaster, so he couldn't get upset if we arrived a few minutes late. Besides, I had too many things on my mind at the moment to care too much about the possibility of being scolded.

"It's because our vampire boys are all so beautiful and excellent. Well.. if they're our allies, then they're a great resource to us."

"The Night Class students look forwards to this day almost as much as the girls. Many of them have a sweet tooth, you know. It'd be just as cruel to them if I cancel the event."

"Yasuko, I know it will be difficult, but someday you will come to understand my philosophy."

"Because they're nothing more than beasts in human form who drink the blood from living humans, right?"

Why does he do that? Why does the Headmaster purposefully say things he knows will just upset Yasuko? Even though I agree with him, and I wish she'd come to understand that peace is possible, I completely understand where her hate comes from. If it hadn't been for Kameko, I'd probably have a hard time believing there were good vampires out there as well. Yet, while she might not blatantly try to kill the Night Class students, her opinion seemed no different from the night the Headmaster brought her into the house.

Of course, Yasuko didn't talk much back then. Or at all for that matter. She just stood there quietly as the Headmaster introduced her to me and told me what had happened. She didn't even say anything as I led her into the bathroom to help her get cleaned up. It has been a little over four years ago but I could remember everything so clearly that it might as well have happened a few days ago.

~Flashback/Third person P.O.V~

It was a beautiful winter's night. Snow had not yet fallen but the air was cold and frost covered the ground and surrounding plant life. The sky was clear, barely a cloud in sight and the moon was three days away from being full. Even the stars seemed brighter than usual. In all, the night seemed peaceful and quiet. Yet that all changed when a young Yuki Cross opened the door to the house he lived in with his father; revealing the man behind it with a young girl next to him.

"Yuki, I'd like you to meet Yasuko Kiryu." Kaien Cross announced, his hand gently touching the girl's back. Yuki blinked and took a closer look at the girl.

A large coat wrapped around her like a blanket and her feet were bare of any shoes. Her eyes were closed and her head was bowed, bits of her silver hair shadowing her face. She looked around Yuki's age and her hair went just below her shoulders. What really caught the boy's attention, however, was the blood he could plainly see on the side of her face and staining the ends of her hair on the left side of her body.

"Be nice to her, Yuki, her family was killed by a bad vampire."

Yuki's eyes widened and he inwardly gasped. At the same time, Yasuko lifted her head and opened her eyes. It sounded like she grunted but the sound was so small it was easy to miss. Her eyes looked at nothing in particular but Yuki felt his heart jolt at the intensity of her stare. It seemed so... emotionless. Yet, at the same time, so angry and sad all at the same time. Was that even possible?

"Help her get cleaned up. I have some business with the police I must attend to." The man said and, after waving goodbye, turned around and walked away. Yuki watched as he disappeared around the corner before turning his full attention to the girl in front of him.

"Um, so the bath, it's over here." He said, turning sideways and pointing down the hall. Yasuko didn't move and continued to stare silently in front of her.

"May I touch you?" Yuki asked, leaning forwards. When she didn't reply the boy took it as he had her permission and stepped forwards. Walking next to her, Yuki gently put one hand on her back and the other on the front of her jacket.

"Come on."

From there Yuki led Yasuko through the house. The girl didn't say a word the whole way but allowed the boy to guide her to the bathroom. During the short walk, Yasuko had bowed her head again but, when Yuki glanced at her, he could see her eyes were still open. Again he felt his heart jolt in his chest and his lips trembled as he frowned. He knew bad vampires existed but he had never heard of one killing an entire family. He couldn't even imagine how Yasuko must be feeling right now.

"There's hot water in the tub already." Yuki said once he opened the door to the bathroom. It was a small room with a single claw foot bathtub and the heat from the water had made the room a little steamy.

"Um... do you want help with your jacket?" He asked shyly when Yasuko continued to stay silent and didn't move towards the bathtub. She didn't even raise her head in his direction so Yuki took it upon himself that she had given him permission.

With little hesitation, and a small blush, Yuki rounded around Yasuko so he was standing in front of her. Gripping the jacket by the collar, the girl didn't stop him from sliding it off her body. His eyes instantly widened and he gasped when he saw her covered in blood. The whole left side of her neck, the entirety of her shoulder and even the top half of the night shirt she wore was covered in blood.

Yasuko didn't react to Yuki's shock. She only continued to stand there as silently as before, unmoving. Her head had raised again though her eyes remained void of any emotion. She barely even showed any acknowledgment as Yuki walked over to the bathtub and dipped a cloth into the hot water. The boy made sure it was good and wet before pulling it out. He wrung out any excess water before he turned around and walked back over to the bloodied girl.

"Can I clean that up?" He asked, gripping the cloth in one hand. Like the other times, Yasuko didn't respond; she didn't even blink. Yuki had a feeling she wouldn't but still wanted to ask her permission before doing anything.

The boy waited a couple more seconds before figuring he had her permission. Closing the distance between them, Yuki brought the hot cloth to her shoulder and began cleaning it. He did so gently and cautiously, afraid the girl in front of him might fall into pieces otherwise. It took a bit of work, since the blood had dried a while ago, but Yuki eventually managed to get the blood off her shoulder and neck.

'Thank goodness, she's not hurt.' He thought with an inward sigh when he saw there was no wound. That must mean the blood came from her family or the vampire that killed them; which wasn't any better but the boy was relieved to see her unharmed.

For the rest of the night, until Kaien got home, Yuki worked on helping Yasuko. He had closed his eyes as he helped her undress and led her to the bathtub. As the water was steamy enough to hide anything that wouldn't want to be seen, he reopened his eyes. From there he washed the blood out of the tips of her hair as well as some on her back that he missed. Throughout everything, Yasuko remained silent and unresponsive. Her eyes retained their emotionless, yet angry and sad, stare. Yuki continued to be as gentle as possible, afraid of making things worse otherwise. He couldn't imagine what she could have possibly been through but the boy hoped he could help heal her in time.

I'm ending part 1 here. Part 2 will start in the classroom with them getting ready to leave to the Moon Dorms. Although, I'm wondering if I should make Yuki still make/buy Kameko chocolates since I think that was an somewhat important part in the series. As I mentioned above, I was told that, in Japan, ST. Chocolate's Day, or Xocolatl Day, is centered more on girls confessing to boys. From what I've noticed in the series that does seem to be the case and I want to more or less keep it that way. However, I'm also sure that I noticed a couple boys trying to give gifts, so I'm not all that sure. I'll give myself time to think about it unless you guys have a opinion on that.

I apologize for some of the paragraphs and if some sections seem a little rushed, I got pretty bad writers block and eventually just wrote something because otherwise I'd be stuck with it for days.
