Interlude: Missed Opportunity
Markos watched and sighed. How much he had wanted to return to life, for his plans to be set in motion even further. But he had missed the freebee the Universe had granted. But he still had plans. Still had cards. He just needed to make sure that all possible players were on his side.
He smirked. Not matter how this went. No matter who won. He would be the victor.
But who to pick first?
He disappeared from the house and went to the warehouse, next to the crate. A humanoid blob appeared. He did not have long before this Traveller, whoever he was, returned to their body.
"Silas," he said. "His plans to destroy the veil. Make it so he succeeds."
The blob disappeared.
Yes. He would live. And soon, all witch magic cease to exist and his travellers would have a home. The Traveller knew just the place, a place with so much power that he could rule the world if he so wanted, and the funny thing. Those who called themselves Practitioners of Magic from within, didn't even know it.
AN: I'm hit by a severe case of writer's block. I just can't get into the flow of the story however hard I try lately. I'll try and get over that and update soon. But I hope these interlude at least show the path the story is going to be taking.
