CHAPTER 138

Yanagi walked back over to the group with a true smile playing on his lips. Ryoma had told him so much. At first it was awkward, with the whole penis thing, but after that they talked about living arrangements to the big relationship. As him and Ryoma had been talking about this relationship between five people and that he cheated and so on. He himself doesn't know how he did it, but he managed to get the boy to try it out with the other four and if he doesn't like it all he would have to do was tell them.

What he was proud of the most though was the fact that he managed to convince the boy that if he dated Yukimura he wouldn't kill him. Well, to be honest it was more of making him feel guilty. He had told Ryoma that if something happened to the blunette and he died he would die thinking that the boy didn't love him. Where if Ryoma loved the other with all he had and he ended up dying at least he'll die knowing he was loved. After that he had to listen to five minutes of crying and gibberish which he didn't fully understand, before hearing a thank you, Ryoma then hung up.

Gen was standing there with folded arms and looking slightly annoyed. Renji just walked up handed the phone to him before speaking up. "Ryoma's solved his problem there are now six not five." He said hoping the vice-captain would get the hint. surprisingly he caught on quickly.

"How did you manage to convince him?" Renji's smile widened.

"I'll tell you after we win this tournament. I did promise him that I would only tell you." Feeling satisfied with the answer that was given Gen turned his attention over to Marui.

"You have 10 laps around the park for answering my phone." The other members either snicker or gave him a look of pity knowing that the park they were in wasn't exactly small.

As the tournament came to an end and of course Rikkaidai being the winners, the regulars left one by one until only Sanada and Yanagi were left. They both walked over to a park bench with a table in the middle. Sitting so they were facing opposite each other, Gen waited for Yanagi to explain.

"Did you even explain what you wanted from Ryoma in you're relationship or did you even tell him how each of you felt about being with each other in that way?" In return the data collect got silence. Letting out a sigh he continued. "If he entered this relationship and he didn't like it, did you consider the possibility that he might of wanted to back out and if he did he wouldn't know how to do it. You made no safety net for him to fall back on if none of this worked out." This time Renji could see the invisible dots connecting in Gen's head. "I'm guessing you all wanted him to be apart of it because you all have feeling for him in that perspective, but you have to always take into account that he is not like you five who have accepted that it possible to love not just one other person."

"So this could have been avoided if we sat him down and talked about all his problems clearly and provided some way for him to back out." Gen couldn't really feel too surprised at the fact Renji had gotten this from just talking on the phone to the boy. Unlike most people, his fellow third year was good at reading people. Like how Renji knew about his childhood crush on Sei from just watching their interactions and so on.

"Yeah, most likely. But you're still not getting the full picture. I know people don't want to bring it up, but you have to face the fact that Yukimura has got an illness and whether it kills him or not is unseen yet. We all know Yukimura is strong, but have you ever explained to Ryoma that spending as much time with Yukimura as possible is better than avoiding him because in the end he could possibly die." Standing the data collector gave Gen a goodbye before leaving letting the vice-captain have sometime with his own thoughts.

Syu felt stumped. He had ran upstairs to try and trap Ryoma to see if he could get more information out of him, but he had one problem. He couldn't find the cat. He had searched all the rooms including the bathroom thinking that he might of hid in the shower. Coming back downstairs, Syu went into the lounge to see both Mizuki and Keigo in a heated discussion.

"So what's this about?" Syu asked his brother who had chosen to ignore the two in favour of the TV.

"I don't know. The last thing I remember listening to was something about Ryoma's innocence and Mizuki clamming that Kei and you are taking advantage of him." Syu gave the two a glance before frowning.

"I still can't find Ryo-Chan. I want to know what else he did to me." Yuuta rolled his eyes, knowing his older brother would be thinking that than rather just checking to see if the boy was alright.

"You might as well just wait. He'll come out of hiding when he gets hungry."

Gen had finally reached the Fuji residence. With his tennis equipment slung over one shoulder. Knocking on the door he waited for someone to answer. Yoshiko answered the door.

"Hi, I'm here to pick up Kei." Yoshiko smiled at him as she reached up and removed the cap off his head.

"You are very handsome. You must be Genichiro Sanada." Instead of saying anything he just nodded. "Come in, Atobe will be a while. He seems to of gotten side tracked." With a small thanks Gen followed her in. Standing in the door of the lounge, the vice-captain held down a smile when he saw Kei sitting on the floor with a guy he didn't recognize playing Black Jack.

"Kei, how many games have you lost?" Gen asked knowing the king wasn't good at gambling games.

"Five so far. Ore-Sama is not going to give up until I win though." Sighing Gen finally noticed the look of shock coming from Keigo's opponent.

"You're the Vice-Captain of Rikkaidai. Please don't tell me you're the last person in this six-some thing going on?" In return Mizuki got a blank expression to his answer. Gen turned to Syu who was leaning forward on the sofa looking at Kei's cards.

Suddenly Gen felt arms wrap around his waist from behind. Turning his head he felt happy when he saw Ryoma burying his head into his back. He could hear small grumbles from the cat.

"Ryoma, you need to not have your mouth covered when you speak." The boy walked round so he was now in front of Gen, but he kept his head down hoping the other didn't disapprove of what he wanted.

"I said that I want to kiss you... Since we're meant to be dating now." Ryoma finally looked up to meet Gen's eyes. A small blush had dusted across his nose and cheeks. "Renji said that I can't lose anything for trying this relationship out and if I don't like it he said you'll all still talk to me and won't leave me." Crouching down, Gen held Ryoma's chin in one of his hands. The cat closed his eyes tight and waited for the contact. The vice-captain pulled Ryoma's chin towards him closing the gap and placing his lips against the others. 'Soft and gentle.' The cat thought as he pulled back as his shyness got the better of him.

Just as Ryoma was about to disappear again he felt a hand on his shoulder. He shuddered as he looked up to meet blue-eyes. Syu had a psychopathic look on his face. A smile that was getting bigger and bigger by the second.

"It's great to see you came out of hiding Ryo-Chan." He said all too sweetly. "Now, will you tell me what happened last night?" Ryoma kept his mouth firmly shut.

"Kei, did you choose a place to eat?" Gen asked as he noticed Syu in his own little world.

"Yeah, are we leaving now?" He got up giving Mizuki a glare at the fact that he didn't manage to win a single game. He left the lounge and went into the kitchen to Yoshiko. "Ore-Sama thanks you for letting me spend the day here." Once Gen and Kei had left, Ryoma could feel it was time to run and hide again.

As luck had it though, Syu knew what the cat was going to do so he took action before the other did. Going down he swept Ryoma into his arms holding him like a princess. "We'll talk in private." And left Mizuki and Yuuta in the lounge, both feeling sorry for Ryoma.
