CHAPTER 145
Akaya had gone home after he had finished his work, thanking Mitsu for the help. The rest in the house were now sitting down at the table having dinner, when they heard the front door open and the rustling of bags hitting their ears. Tomo shouted a hello and only got a reply from Keiichi. They all saw Keigo walk pass the door and up the stairs.
"What happened?" Tomo asked Keiichi as Sei stood leaving the room to check on his lover. The rest decided to leave this to the blunette seeing as him and Kei don't spend as much time with each other. When the older Atobe didn't answer and instead left the room to finish getting the shopping out of the back of Tomo's car, the bulter followed stopping Keiichi outside.
Tomo took the plastic bags from the others hand and placed them on the floor before bring Keiichi into a hug. "What's happened?" He asked again. "You seem even more annoyed now, than when you left the mansion." Keiichi's arms came up and wrapped around his husbands waist.
"He can't control Keigo through me so he's making decisions on his own. He's already started phone up people trying to get potential wives for him. I didn't want this. I wanted Keigo to have everything I never got. I wanted him to have a family that will accept him for him and I never wanted him to have to lie to others faces about who he is either. He should be proud of himself." Tomo brought his hands up and wiped the tears that were falling down his lovers face.
"Ichi, I love you so much and you keep forgetting that the bastard is not Keigo's family. He's just a cockroach that we just can't seem to get rid of. Just because he's related by blood doesn't give him a first class ticket into the family. Me, you and the five idiots in that house are his family. So don't cry over a man who was never there for you." Giving Keiichi a quick kiss on the lips, they both suddenly remembered when they were and made some distance with each other. Tomo pick the bags from the floor as the Atobe went to get the last few from the car.
"Neh, you are staying in a hotel tonight? Right?" Frowning, Keiichi turned.
"Of course, I don't think I'll be going back to that hell hole soon. Why?" In reply, the 50-year-old watched as one of Tomo's eyebrows raised up in a suggestive manner and a small smirk played at the corner of his lips. Getting the hint, Keiichi forced himself not to grin like an idiot. "Ore-Sama will hold you to that promise."
The butler laughed when he heard Keiichi say Ore-Sama. It brought back old memories from when he was just a butler who had made it his plan to get Keiichi Atobe as his own.
Sei pushed open the door to Kei's room to only see the other laying face down half-way up the bed with his legs hanging off the end. Going over, the blunette laid next to him bring the other into his arms. Sei decided to let Keigo speak first when he was ready. After a couple of minutes he finally got a result.
"Who changed the bed?" Smiling slightly, Sei loosened his grip letting Kei turn to face him.
"Me and Mitsu did just after Akaya left." Sei spoke softly as he looked straight into Kei's eyes. "What happened? Tomo only told us that your grandfather is arranging for you to start seeing girls of his choice and something about getting married before turning 20, but that's all he told us." The Hyotei student could feel his insides twist and turn in awkward ways. Snaking his arms around Sei's waist, Keigo buried his face into the others neck feeling helpless about the situation he was in.
"He's already started to phone up people and get everything sorted. One girl came up to me when me and dad were shopping telling me this so-called good news." Sei's arms tightened round the other.
"Well, I'm sorry to tell you Kei, but none of us are going to give you to anyone without a fight. Either that or we'll just dress Syu up as a woman." Snorting at the image of the tensai wearing a frilly dress, the captain of Hyotei started to cry and laugh at the same time.
Shan found himself back in England once more, walking of course once again down the hallways of the mental institution towards room 62.
"Oi, Sen." He called as he opened the small hatch to look inside. "We're leaving at the end of this week." Hearing laughter, he watched as the man sat up on the bed in the room going over to the door so they could speak face to face.
"Why should it concern me? You came back here from America just to say goodbye." Sen turned his back. "Just leave then. I don't need you." The bandaged which was covering his left eye was now removed and a scar was running vertically down his face stopping just before his chin as it run up to his hair-line.
"When I said we're leaving. I meant you're coming with us back to Japan. I can't leave you here. Especially when I just got an email from Sei's doctor telling me that his condition is getting worse by the day, since the virus has become immune to the medication he has been taking for the last few months and that there running out of options." Sen perked up to the idea of going back to his home country.
"Do I get to see beauty? What about Seiichi?" Shan's hands clenched into fists. He hated the way his older brother was acting so happy and care-free.
"You're going to be put into another institution there. One that has higher security, but on your benefit you get to go outside for an hour a day since they have police taking shift in patrolling the border of the land. In other words it's a prison for the insane." Sen moved to the back corner sliding down the wall in his straight jacket until he was sitting on the floor.
"Come in here. Sit next to me." Shan called over one of the doctors to open the door for him. He couldn't help, but stay on edge as he was locked in the room with his brother. "You know I would never hurt you. Little brother."
"Well, the same can't be said for Sei now. Can it." He stated as he slide down next to the man he once looked to as a father figure. "The body that was in the room we found with Ryoma back in America. I finally asked someone to tell me who it once was. I thought it would have been one of the scientists, imagine my surprise when I found out it was his mother. Why was Rinko there in the first place?" It started as a small chuckle until it turned into full-blown laughter.
"The last time I saw beauty I gave him an option. Him or his mother. In the end he chose to live in return he watched his mother bleed to death right in front of him." Shan felt sick to his stomach just listening.
"He would never do that. Ryoma may have killed, but he would never live just to spite someone." Sen leaned his head against Shan's shoulder causing the other to tense.
"He needed his mother in order to live. If he didn't he would have died from a virus. Like I've been saying every time you asked, beauty knows how to cure Sei. I've never said that beauty was the cure himself, he probably won't remember though. He was quiet scarred over the whole thing. So I let him forget." They stayed in silence for the next half-hour before Shan realize the time and had to leave.
"We're leaving at the end of the week. We have a privet jet that will take us back to Japan." Going over to the door, Shan knocked a couple of times telling the doctor he was ready to leave. "Sen, Sei's only going to keep getting worse. If you love him, you'll have to eventually tell us how to help him."
