CHAPTER 148
The end of the school day came around and Ryoma was walking off the tennis court after just defeating the last non-regular he had to play in his block. "Syu!" The cat bolted for the tensai as he saw the other leaving the court next to his. "You promised to buy me ponta." Wrapping his arms around the older ones waist Ryoma grinned.
"Alright Ryo-Chan." Grabbing the ponta from the vending machine, Ryoma placed the drink in the pouched on his jumper when he heard Syu speak up just behind him. "By the way I forgot to tell you but Shan's coming back at the start of next week." With that the tensai started to walk back to the tennis courts only to pause when he didn't hear any questions on the matter. "I thought you would be happy that he was coming back here?" The cat stood there looking towards the other feeling slightly lost on the subject at hand.
"I am. It's just that... Are we all still living together? Or are you all going back to live with your families?" Going back over, the third-year student he placed both his hands on either of the cat's cheeks.
"I love you." Syu whispered as he rubbed both their noses together. "I love you so much. My Ryo-Chan. Even if we went back to how we used to all live we would all still meet up everyday and most likely sleep round someone's house all together." Ryoma's hands went up and covered Syu's own.
"Is this the part where we do something intimate?" The tensai held down the grin that wanted to break out on his lips as he could hear the hopefulness in the cat's voice. "Because right now I really want to kiss with tongues... and hold you really close." He mumbled the last bit as he tried to direct his eyes to somewhere else, but finding it difficult when he saw the loving look given to him.
"Yes, but sadly we still have the ranking matches to think about." Syu pulled away from Ryoma's embrace making a gap between their bodies. "Go drink your ponta, I need to go sort something out." Just as Ryoma was about to go around the corner Syu's grabbed his arm. "Maybe you should take the longer way back to the courts. I'm sure you've noticed now as well. I'll talk to them." Nodding Syu waited till the cat had gone round the corner on the opposite side.
"You shouldn't eavesdrop on people's conversations. It not very nice and it's none of your business." The tensai stared at the first year. "I would also appreciate it if you stop deciding Ryo-Chan's future. He can be with who ever he likes. So I suggest that you stop putting thoughts into your friends head about him and her marrying when there older and having children."
Tomoko could feel herself shake in fear as the tensai walked towards her, trapping the first-year between the wall of the school and himself using his arms as a barricade to stop her trying to escape from the sides. Eyes open and not a trace of a smile on his lips.
"Why are you bothered? You have Yukimura. If you have to cheat on him than maybe you should break it off. You shouldn't use Ryoma-Sama as some fling on the side." Syu could feel his anger flare up even more. He thought he was doing well. He hadn't killed her yet, but he could slowly feel that idea starting to change in his mind. As one of the hands that rest on the wall slowly turned into a fist.
"Syu!" The tensai barely had time to turn his head before he felt arms around him dragging him away from the first-year. "Although Ore-Sama agrees with you, you should remember that I won't visit you in prison and that all Ore-Sama has to do is make one phone call in order for her to disappear." Hearing an 'epp' as the girl remembered just how powerful the Atobe name was she scurried off.
"Syu, you need to learn to control your temper." Hearing a huff from his lover, Keigo flicked the tensai on the forehead. "I mean it. Ore-Sama doesn't want to see you get into trouble for a murder although we might be able to get away with it if..."
"Kei, I told you to stop Syu from doing anything stupid not to help him and Syu you have a match starting in a couple of minutes." Thanking Mitsu, Syu grabbed Kei's hand pulling him to the court not giving a care that some were staring at them.
"Idiot, let go of me. I'm only here to keep an eye on you. Mitsu said you were acting weird when he phoned me. You're being even more protective than normal." Syu glanced to his lover in thought.
"I think I could be slightly high. I did take one too many painkillers before I left home when I realized I had to play tennis today and then took some more before the matches began." Shaking his head in disapproval Keigo could only feel sorry for the tensai's next opponent who had to put up with his weirdness during a match.
Mitsu sighed as he flopped down on to the sofa. He couldn't believe that the A block in the ranking matches had to continue onto tomorrow. He knew that it was either going to be Momo or Inui who were not going to become a regular and he would happily bet his money on Momo not making it. He had seen the way the second year had been playing recently and could see two major faults. One being his ankle which he had sprained a while back. He seemed almost scared on putting too much pressure on it even though it was completely healed and the other being that he keeps undermining others. Playing with less strength and skill than he would against someone of Syu's, Ryoma's or even himself.
Five lovers minus Seiichi had been banned from entering the kitchen. Ryoma was forced to leave the house since he had the habit on listening on things he shouldn't so Gen had taken him out to get a sugary treat. Sei, Keiichi and Tomo had been in the kitchen discussing something. What? They didn't know, but both Mitsu and Syu could only guess it was to do with Shan's return to Japan.
Keigo meanwhile was burying his face into the tensai's lap. His father had given him a death wish. He had to leave in half an hour to go to out for dinner with some girl from his year and not only that it was one of his fangirls of all things. He had told his father that he wasn't going to go, but in the end Keiichi had convinced his son that it would be rude to cancel now and told him to just blame his grandfather for all of this.
So they made a deal. Keigo would go, but was allowed to leave straight away after the dinner if he wished. His father being the one that would get him out of the situation by saying there was a company problem and Keigo needed to be there for learning experience so he would know what to do if the so-called problem happened in the future.
Half an hour later Keigo left in a suit heading towards the limo with dread. An hour had passed since then and both Mitsu and Syu looked over to the door when they heard the door to the kitchen open. When they saw the blunette both had gotten up from their seat in worry seeing their lover so pale.
"Sei look at me." Mitsu cradled the blunettes face in his hands. "Hey, you want to talk?" Syu laced one of his hands with Sei's giving it a small tug towards the sofa he was occupying before hand. As they all sat back down, Sei on the Seigaku captains lap ,while the tensai had his head on the blunette's lap looking up to his face.
"My condition. Keiichi said that the reason I'm sleeping more is because the medication I'm on is not taking much affect anymore." The pause in between Sei's sentence was almost deafening. "I'm only going to get worse, but he said that Shan's coming back for this reason alone. Apparently they have someone who knows how to get rid of this virus thing inside me."
"That's good then. Why do you look so down?" Syu asked as he raised a hand to the others face.
"The person that knows how to cure me is the man who calls himself Ryoma's Master."
