BPOV
I did not like eating breakfast the next morning as I was made to eat with the Dunn family for the first time since I have been here as I had gotten used to eating my morning meal by myself in my bedroom. It was not going to be any fun joining the family for theirs.
The whole meal was awkward and quiet. All I could hear were the sounds of silverware being scraped against porcelain. Every now and then I would look up from my plate and see Tanya looking at me in disgust. She was eating a little fruit salad and I was eating bacon and basically anything she considered food of the devil.'
I had finished the last of my meal when Mrs. Dunn spoke up.
"Isabella please go and change into something more appropriate and meet me in my office. I have something I need to speak with you about."
"Yes ma'am." I replied even though I saw no issue with what I had put on before coming down that morning.
I couldn't help but think about what Mrs. Dunn wanted to speak to me about. I hadn't done a single thing to cast her or her family in a bad light. I quickly got dressed in an outfit that she would approve of because she had bought it for me over a week ago.
I went to her office and sat down in one of two chairs in front of the desk. I sat there alone for over fifteen minutes before she followed me in. She took her time to sit in the chair behind the desk. Taking time to smooth out her clothes before moving to pull an object out of a drawer that I couldn't see. She placed it in the center of her desk and pushed it toward me.
"Can you tell me what the meaning of this is?" she asked pointing at the paper.
The paper held a picture of Ted and me but it called him Edward. It was taken outside the bookstore that I like to go to.
"I have no idea who he is. I just met him there. I gave him his books and bear back and he told me once before that I didn't look like the type to read some gossip magazine. I haven't seen him outside of that bookshop at all."
"Oh that's good news because he and Tanya are sure to be matched up. She is defiantly a better choice for him." Mrs. Dunn said. "After all you are an American and Edward and his family are of a much higher caliber that you will never achieve. Do you understand?"
"Yes ma'am I understand."
"That is great. Now please go and get Tanya as I need to speak with her also."
I nodded, stood up and walked out of the room. I walked all the way upstairs to Tanya's room and knocked on her door. Nothing happened so I knocked on the door even harder. Tanya ripped the door opened.
"What in the bloody hell do you want American?" she asked.
"I do not need a thing it's your mother that wants you. I guess it has something to do with a guy called Edward."
Tanya squealed and ran to her mom's office. I rolled my eyes and went to my room and booted up my computer to see what the internet had to say about Ted (aka Edward) and I. The stories were all the same. Talking about Edward and the mysterious brunette he was seen with. The stories were nothing compared to some of the comments written at the bottom of the story. Some of the comments were nice but most of them were very hurtful and cruel. It took me a few minutes to resist the urge to post a comment. It would be a waste of time to write something and add to the fire.
THE DUKE HAS A NEW LADY?
Duke Edward Cullen was spotted inside of the Austen Fine Books book store yesterday with a mysterious brunette. They were laughing and seemed to be having a good time. Their visit only lasts a short while before Edward and the girl parted ways.
As of press time no one could identify the girl. The manager of AFB refused to give information on Edward or the Girl. "Our customer's privacy is of the upmost importance and we refuse to give anything out unless a legal warrant has been issued by a sitting judge." The manager replied when we had tried to question other customers. This reporter was then told to leave the premises and told not to return.

Eddieluvsme: That girl is no not pretty.
RoyalWatcher23: She may not be pretty to you but clearly she is to Edward.
His eyes were shining in that picture.
CharlieWebb: I'm not sure anything is really going on. Strangers meet all the time and have conversations. It's how people meet and fall in love but no one believes in love anymore.
AGELESS: That is unfortunately true. Not to mention they get divorced left and right. I for one hope that Edward finds someone to truly love not some arm candy to please his family, maybe he will marry a commoner like Prince William did.
Angie: Every one reads into things too much. Whoever took this picture only did just to make a few pounds.
I read one more comment and couldn't help but smile at it. The woman who ever she was, had been very mature in her comment and it was likely true. I would have replied to her comment but learned I needed to sign into the web page and I didn't want to deal with all of that.
I logged off the internet and started to work on a paper for one of my classes that I was taking online. It was still blank and almost blank. My classes through the exchange program didn't start until September.
