Update: July 6 2016

It has been weeks since I danced with Cinderella and I have yet to see her again. I danced with her at the beginning of September and it was now the end of November. The press had left the whole Cinderella thing alone after the news of Charlotte Dunn and Peter Boscastle's elopement broke out in the middle of October. And because the couple have yet to speak to the press about said elopement certain members of the press are going after any new information about me or them like a dog after a bone.

"Mr. Cullen your guest left this note." My maid Sylvia said setting an envelope down. "I thought that you might want it right away."

"Thank you, you can leave for the day." I replied.

She thanked me and quickly left me alone with the envelop. I picked it up and flipped it over a few times before ripping it open. I pulled out a sheet of paper with Peter's familiar handwriting (it was almost as bad as a doctors) on the page.

"Edward hurry, come on you have to see this, you are on the news." My cousin yelled.

"Alice, I have seen the 'news' and Giuliana Rancic is not reporting on the type of news that I care to watch and or listen to." I told her.

"Trust me you will not want to miss this." She replied coming into my office and turning on the television. "This is big new and it's not on E!"

She was right it was what's-his-face from showbiz tonight on HLN before the show was canceled. I rolled my eyes and sat back in my chair.

"Irina Li the French American supermodel known for her rather revealing photoshoots for fashion designer Amelia Lake has announced that she is pregnant with her first child. She has not said who the father of her child is but he is suspected to be one of three men. The first Laurent DeMont her on again off again boyfriend, the second Allen Greg a football player for the St. Louis Rams and give me a drum roll for this one ladies and gentlemen, the Duke of Warwickshire England Edward Cullen. We conducted a poll and it seems that most of our viewers believe Laurent is the baby's father but about six percent are hopeful that The Duke is the father."

I snagged the remote from my cousin and muted the television.

"That's impossible, I never slept with Irina, and she is a sweet girl but not someone I would sleep with. How in the hell am I going to counter act that?" I asked pointing at my television screen.

"I am working on a press release. I just need you to approve what goes in it."

"Just the basics. That I believe that I am not the father but am still willing to submit to a DNA test before or after the baby is born though I would prefer before."

"Then I have got everything. Would you like me to send it out right away or wait an hour or two?"

"I should call my mother first. She'd have a heart attack if I didn't tell her beforehand." I said. "At least wait an hour or two."

"Call your mother now". Alice said. "We have to get ahead of this. Now call her."

I did as Alice told me and called my mother. My mother was more than a bit ticked off at the 'news' reporter going ahead with the story and not investigating it. I couldn't blame her and it took me over an hour to get her to calm down so I could hang up and have Alice release the statement. Which she did after one more approval from me.

BPOV

"Jasper what are you watching?"

"Oh just some junk news on that Duke Edward Cullen and the Irina Lee he was dating a few weeks back. Irina is claiming that Edward is the father of her baby. At least that's what this show is implying."

'Since we broke the story last night the camp of the Duke of Warwickshire released a statement about an hour after our show ended. 'I Edward Cullen, the Duke of Warwickshire believe that I am not the father of Miss Lee's unborn child. I will however gladly submit to a DNA test at Miss. Li's request. And with that I will not be answering anymore questions on the matter.'"

I took the remote from Jasper and turned off the television.

"Hey." Jasper whined.

"Like you said it was junk news." I replied. "Now how are Peter and Charlotte doing?"

"All I know is that he and Charlotte are good and left on their honeymoon After Charlotte took her last final early."

"I hope they're happy."

"I'm sure they are."
