I went to the store for Mrs. D. She was having a dinner party for a large group of friends and I was once again on cooking duty. I had suffered from their abuse for months but since none of it was physical so I really had no proof to go to the police with other than a few text that were a bit cruel but nothing that they could be arrested for.

"Hold up Isabella mother wanted me to pick up some personal items for her." Tanya said slipping into the passenger's seat.

"Okay." I replied. I really didn't want her to go with me.

The ride to the store was an annoying one. I had to listen to Tanya talk all about how she knew that she and Edward going to get married and have beautiful babies. I rolled my eyes because with the little amount of time I spent with Edward recently Tanya was the last person he would want to spend his life with. Hell I don't even see him wanting to spend is life with someone like me.

Tanya and I went our separate ways when we got to the store. I grabbed just about everything that was listed and was heading to the dairy section to pick up milk, eggs and butter when I ran my cart into another because I was reading the list and not paying attention to where I was going

"I am so sorry. I wasn't trying to hit you."

I looked up to see Edward standing there.

"It's okay Edward. I wasn't looking where I was going."

"Bella, it's been a while." Edward said.

"Yeah it is kind of hard to believe that I have been here almost a year."

"So you will be leaving soon?" I asked.

"Yeah."

"Well if I don't see you again before you leave goodbye and thank your dad for me again."

"I will and it was nice meting you Edward." I replied.

I was going to turn around and warn him about Tanya but he was gone. I quickly went to grab the last few items on the list. I was about to grab the second gallon of milk when Tanya popped up behind me and grabbed my arm.

"What have I told you about talking to him?" she asked.

"Not to." I replied.

"I was going to tell him about you but he was gone." I said trying to calm her down.

"Fine!" Tanya snapped.

She let go of my arm and walked off back to another part of the store. I grabbed the gallon of milk and went to check out. I saw Edward a few check outs away with Tanya hovering nearby hitting on him. I quietly laughed at her desperate attempts to get his attention. He would just give her one word answers. I also watched him as he booked it out of the store once he was done paying.

Once Edward was gone Tanya turned her attention to me.

"You didn't say anything about me to him did you?" she asked. "He acted like he didn't know who I was."

"I didn't get the chance. He was gone before I could." I replied.

"Oh I guess I'll tell mother you behaved on this little trip," Tanya replied. Walking out of the store with her little shopping bag.

I paid the grocery tab and took everything out to the car and loaded them into the trunk and put the cart away. Tanya was already in the car typing away on her new iPhone (she broke her last one throwing it after a fellow schoolmate wore the same dress as her to a party) a complete waste of money in my opinion.

"Do you need to stop anywhere else before I head home?" I asked.

"No. Mother just told me to get home so I may get ready for dinner."

"But six hours away."

"Perfection does not happen overnight." Tanya said. "Even if you are as pretty as me."

The Duke of Warwicshire Speaks Out

BY: Beau Cygne

Just this week I was lucky enough to get the first interview with the Duke since his attacker was sentenced. The duke looks good as always if not a little tired as he is taking med-school classes along with his Duke Type duties.

Beau: How has life been the past few weeks?

DukeWarwickshire: oh I don't know but I will in a few weeks when the grades are posted.

B: any developments of the romantic variety?"

DW: nothing yet. But I do have my eyes on one girl. I ran into her at the grocery market last week.

B: oh readers you must know the Duke is blushing so he must really like this girl. SO who is she?

DW: out of respect for her I will be keeping that to myself. She also has no idea how deeply I care for her.

B: what if she finishes with what she has going on?

DW: I just may make my move but until such a time comes I am happy to visit with her as a friend and nothing more.

B: hopeless romantic are you?

DW: call it what you will but it may be true and it's not really a bad thing either.

B: true but being a hopeless romantic can lead to you getting your heart broken.

DW: also true but what is the point of looking for love if you risk nothing risking your heart means that the love should mean that much more.

After that question the duke and I took a short break so he could take a call from his cousin. It seems that the duke is very family oriented. A good sign for the female that has captured his heart so well. I wish the duke well in his endeavors.

"Oh Isabella did you read the article in today's paper about Edward?" Tanya asked. "It is so written about me, I just know it, we connected so well at the grocery store last week. It's such a shame his cousin told him to hurry up we would have gone out for coffee."

"I thought you hated coffee." I replied to her.

I had read the paper that morning before Tanya or her mother had gotten up. I highly doubted that it was about her with the way Edward had run away from her at the store but I had no clue who it could be but I certainly didn't think it was about me either but it would be a nice surprise if it was.
