Lucy and Lee arrived back at the flat, exhausted after the long drive and having to put up with Frank and Daisy all day. At least Daisy's random changes in conversation had prevented Frank from bringing up the topic of Lucy and Lee's relationship, as they were worried Frank might have said something.
They placed their heavy bags on the ground with a sigh and Lucy leaned into Lee for a moment, while gathering the energy to take her coat off and move the bags to the bedroom. Lee placed his arm around her waist and bent down to kiss the top of her head. "Why don't know sit down? I'll put these away," Lee said.
Lucy stood up straight, "that'd be nice, thank you." She reached up to kiss him on the cheek, before taking off her coat and plonking herself down on the sofa.
By the time Lee had unpacked their things, Lucy had fallen asleep. Her head was resting on her arm on the back of the sofa and her legs were on he seat next to her. Lee sat down next to her, trying to be gentle so he wouldn't wake her up. He played with her hair while he sat watching her sleep, he couldn't believe how beautiful she was, and he had to resist the urge to hold her and kiss her.#
After a while Lucy woke up to see Lee next to her. She smiled at him as he ran his finger down her cheek. Lucy then moved to snuggle into Lee's chest, and Lee wrapped her in his arms and kissed the top of her head.
"I unpacked," Lee said.
"Thank you," Lucy replied, feeling happy that Lee was actually making an effort for once, but things were different now they were together.
They lay together on the sofa until Lucy decided that she felt awake enough to sit up. Lee adjusted his position so they were both facing each other. Then Lucy leaned in to kiss him, placing a hand on his shoulder and the other on the back of the sofa to steady herself. Lee held onto Lucy's waist as they continued to kiss. He was pleasantly surprised when Lucy pushed him back so he was resting against the back of the sofa and she went to straddle him. Their kisses became more passionate and Lucy let her hand roam through Lee's hair. Lee was conscious that Lucy had wanted to take their physical relationship slowly, so he tried to be careful with regards to how far he went. He was finding that letting her lead seemed to be giving her more confidence.
Lucy felt wonderful. She loved the way Lee could make her feel so loved just by the way he held her when they were kissing. They had been kissing for a while now, and Lucy didn't want to stop. She could feel Lee's hands gently massaging her sides as they moved down her body slightly. Lucy could tell he was being cautious because she had always stopped them before things got too intimate, but this time she longed for him to touch her. She took a hold of his hands and moved them down to her hips, Lee was surprised but he loved it, and he smiled against her lips. Eventually, Lucy moved herself further onto Lee and she moved her hands to feel his chest, before starting to unbutton his shirt. Lee stopped her for a moment, gently holding onto her wrists and looking into her eyes. Lucy starred at him feeling a little confused and concerned that Lee was going to say that he'd changed his mind about what they were doing.
"Lucy, darling are you sure about this? Don't feel you have to do this because of me?"
"Don't you want to?" Lucy asked slowly, sounding a little hurt.
Lee moved a hand to stroke her hair and he held her hands with the other, "of course I do Lucy," he said, want evident in his voice, "I just want to be certain that you do, and that you're ready."
"I'm ready," Lucy replied simple, touched at how much Lee cared about her feelings, she'd never seen this side of him before.
"Are you absolutely sure?" Lee asked looking deep into her eyes.
"Yes," Lucy smiled as she took his face in her hands again, "I love you Lee."
"I love you too," Lee replied, wrapping his arms tightly around her waist and kissing her.
