Lee woke up slowly. He kept his eyes closed as he felt himself gain consciousness. Then he remembered where he was and what had happened last night. How Lucy had taken control of their relationship, how she'd allowed him to touch her and how he had final been able to show her how much he loved her. He'd never felt so happy before. He'd thought about that moment so many times and he couldn't believe it was real. Lucy was more beautiful than he'd ever imagined and he couldn't let her go. A wave of happiness and excitement washed over him as he anticipated seeing Lucy lying asleep next to him when he opened his eyes. However, when he did she wasn't there.
The duvet was crumpled and bedroom door had been shut. Lee panicked and all the good feelings he'd had went away. He could only think of the worst, that Lucy had woken up to realise that she didn't feel the way she thought she did about him.
...
Lucy stood in the kitchen staring into the cup of tea she was making as she thought about what had happened the pervious night. She hadn't stopped smiling since she'd woken up. She loved Lee so much, and she loved how sensitive and caring he was being, something others wouldn't believe. He made her feel good about herself, surprising her with how he seemed to worship her.
A wave of excitement washed over her as she thought about Lee laying in her bed. She almost couldn't believe that he was hers, and that she could lie on his bear chest and feel his strong protective arms wrapped around her.
...
Lee walked into the sitting room, where he could see Lucy standing in the kitchen with her back to him. He watched her for a while, before he moved towards her. Lee noticed that she was wearing his shirt from yesterday. He also noticed that it was all she was wearing. He admired the way it hung loosely over the shape of her body and thought about how she'd blushed and looked down when she lay naked in his arms for the first time. He'd told her she was beautiful, but she still had no idea how attractive she was.
When Lucy felt Lee's presence she looked over her shoulder before turning around to face him. "Morning," she smiled flirtatiously.
"You weren't there when I woke up," Lee said, walking towards her.
"I'm sorry," Lucy replied as she saw concern in his eyes when she looked in them, "I couldn't get back to sleep so I thought I'd make you a fry-up," she smiled up at him, he was now standing next to her.
He reached out to place a hand around her waist as he spoke. "Special occasion is it? You never make fry-up," he joked.
"Well I wanted to thank you…for last night," she spoke softly, reaching to touch his arms and running her hands up to rest at the back of his neck.
Moving both his hands to support her back, Lee began kissing her neck. "I believe you were just as involved as I was last night," he whispered in her ear, sending a shiver through the whole of Lucy's body.
Lucy let out a light laugh as she pushed him back slightly. "No, I mean...just thank you…for making me feel special," she said looking into his eyes, their faces almost touching.
"You are special Lucy," Lee said softly before leaning in to kiss her.
"Come back to bed," Lee murmured in between kisses, as he bent down and tried to pick Lucy up.
"But what about breakfast?" Lucy protested.
"It can wait," Lee smiled at her with a glint in his eyes, bending down again to get Lucy, who let herself be carried off to her bedroom for the second time within the past twenty four hours.
