Edward Cullen's Advice on Love and what he plans to do after the last ball in May.

I got to sit down with the enjoyable Duke of Warwickshire Edward Cullen. I got to see him in between family dealings and medical school classes.

What has you life been like this past year since becoming a Duke?

Not all that exciting. There were a few moment here and there but for the most part it has been a quiet ride through the year.

What would you say your biggest event was?

That would definitely be getting shot at. I hadn't done anything and the guy clearly thought that I had done something to him and his wife and justice was eventually served and I have moved past that.

And how do you plan to do that?

I plan to do that by going to school and focusing on all my classes as well as taking are of my familial obligations.

Can you tell us what that entails?

Just a fair bit of showboating some times getting out their and defending my family's interest and things like that and can not forget the family's traditions.

Are you referring to the third and final ball as you look for a wife?

Even with out the third and final ball I would be looking for a wife. I may be young but I know what I would want in a wife. What I want in a woman that is going to spend the rest of my life with.

That sounds very romantic. How do you work with romance and your other duties?

I don't see how and I'm not really in a relationship now so the work and school take lead right now.

Maybe the next ball will change that but for those curious female minds out there what is your ideal romantic date?

I'm not sure at the moment I have a few ideas that I look forward to using but I'd rather not say as they should be a surprise for my future girlfriend not the readers of a magazine even if she maybe one of those readers.

Do you think a couple should be friends?

Of course. A relationship wouldn't be worth it to me otherwise.

Okay Edward final question. Do you plan on taking someone to the ball?

No I a. m going to attended the ball stag. I plan on leaving alone also.

Bella POV

I had taken a break from finishing my school work. I had been at it for four hours now. I had finished all but two assignments. I needed a break and choose to feel the sun on my skin for a few minutes. I crumpled up the trash from my lunch and was about to throw it away when I bumped into Edward.

"Bella how have you been doing?" Edward asked.

"I'm good. Host family is a little on the weird side but I'm looking into seeing if I can get a new family change or not."

"I wish I could help but I dont know much about that kind of thing. I could ask my uncle he knows more about the law than i do." Edward said. "In fact i have a family dinner to get to in half hour i could talk to him then."

"Thanks anylittle bit will help. Even if all i get is the name of another lawyer. Alice said she was going to talk to someone but I can't remember who it was."

"Oh do you still want me to ask?" Edward replied.

"You can if you want but it is your choice." I replied. "Edward I've been taking care of myself for a long time yeah i have my dad but he's not a woman. You can help if you want to but you dont have to."

"Bella I want to help you. I care about you."

"Edward i dont expect any thing. Caring about someone and showing them you are are two different things and you are a Duke from England and the son of a doctor. I am from small town america and the daughter of a sheriff."

Edward stopped where he was about thirty feet away and turned around like he wanted to say something but shrugged his shoulders and turned back around. Maybe it wasn't that important. I tossed my trash in to the near by bin and walked back into the library.

I found an empty table and laid out my books and got back to work. I worked until Tanya showed up in front of my table.

"Isabella my mother has been calling you for the last hour. Where have you been?" Tanya said.

Her harsh tone snapped me out of my daze. I had just about completed my last assignment.

"I have been here all day and your mother has not tried to contact me since this morning." I replied. "Now leave me alone."

"You need to get back to the house within the hour or you will be punished."

Tanya POV

I turned on my heel after letting Isabella know that my mother wanted her home. I then went and planned where I was going to get my hair and make up done. I went to my favorite nail salon and had my nails done.

The Asian lady that did my nails tried getting me to talk to her about my plans but I just wanted my nails to be done. I had other things to worry about at the moment.

"Your nails are done. Would you like anything else?" The lady asked.

"That's it. Here is your payment." I said handing her a check dad rarely gave me cash anymore.

"Thank you. Come back when that job gets damaged. You don't seem like a girl that would want her nails to fall into disrepair."

"You are correct about that."

I stood up and left the shop. I still had to get my hair done but that wound be done tomorrow with my mother. We were attending the ball together. She says that its because she wants time with me but I know it's because she wants to make sure to I don't ruin the chances of our family attending the next royal wedding of a Windsor Prince.

Jasper POV

"Well mom you will get to meet her when I come home. My phone took a dive so the camera isn't working for video chat." I said. "Besides meeting in person is so much better than on camera."

"Jasper you better come home in July like I was told. No sneaking off to join the army."

"Mom I still plan to join but I am not going to be sneaky about it."

"Still don't agree with it."

"Listen mom I have to go class is about to start."

My mom then started her usual long winded goodbye. It was so long that I had to hang up just before entering the class room. It was a large one. I found a seat at the back of the room next to a tall dark haired man.

Turns out our professor was late, and the man next to me was of the jovial sort. He kept those near him entertained with stories of his family back in Kentucky.

"Okay man you have to tell me why you are here in England if you love Kentucky so much?" I asked.

"My girl I met her in Bath my summer abroad two years ago and I couldn't leave her." He replied.

He went to say something else but a professor from another class walked in.

"Excuse me, Professor Wilton will not be here today due to a family emergency. Class has been canceled." The man said. "As for the paper that was due today he has given you another week to work on it and added that quote 'some of them will need it' unquote."

"So can we leave?" Someone in front asked.

"Yes."

There was a mass exodus from the class. I followed my new friend since he had invited me to lunch.

"Rosie you are early."

"My boss let me go. They have an inventory to do so they sent every one that is not an owner home." She replied. "So who is your friend Emmet? Should I be worried?"

"No this is Jasper." Emmet said. "He's from Washington state."

"Cool I think I have a cousin that lives there."

"Oh what part are they from?"

"I cant remember the town but my cousin once said they lived about a hundred miles away from that town the vampires live."

"Forks?" I said.

"That's it." She said. "How did you know?"

"I live there." I replied.

I then continued to spend the day with Emmet and his girlfriend Rosalie (only Emmet could call her Rosie) until Emmet had to leave for his next class and Rosalie had to get back to work so she could go home early to call her mom.

Martian POV

"Are you Martian?" A young man asked me.

"Yes. Is there something you needed ?" I asked.

"Kind of my boss sent me over with this, I just wasn't sure if you would want it here."

"Oh I've been waiting for that. Tell your boss I said thank you and I'll call if I need anything else from him."

"Will do sir." And with that the young man turned on his heel and left my office.

I still held the envelope in my hand when the young man closed my door. Once my mind caught up with the rest of me I placed it in the middle drawer of my desk. I worked on the few things that absolutely needed my attention before I could work or turn my attention to anything else. One by one my staff left for the lunch hour the only one that remained was my secretary but she only left if I did and I rarely did.

I pulled the envelope from my desk drawer and laid every thing out in a neat and orderly fashion on top of my desk. The last item was a note from the man that I had hired to follow my wife.

'Martian, Sorry I couldn't prove you wrong. I have included all evidence I collected in pursuit of the case you gave me. I hope it suits your purpose.'

The man haven't bothered to sign the note but I get why he didn't. I would do the same if I was in his line of work. I set the note aside and looked at all of the images one by one. They varied in graphicness. After looking at the final picture I placed everything back in the envelope and placed that in my briefcase.

"Angela, could you please rescheduled my appointments for today and tomorrow for some time next week or the next open slot we have." I said.

"Is everything alright?" She asked.

"Not really. An urgent family matter has come up."

"Okay, I will move everything around is there anything else you need me to do?"

"Not right now. I'll call you if anything else comes up." I replied.

She left the room to do as I asked her to. I grabbed my briefcase and left my office I had important things discuss with my wife. I existed my office with a quick goodbye to Angela.

Alice POV

I was working on a privet project when my computer dinged with a message that someone was trying to video chat with me. I quickly set my project a side and went to answer.

"Miss. Cullen you should answer calls in a timely manner."

"Sorry sir. I am guessing you have something for me otherwise you wouldn't be calling me."

"You would be correct."

"What do you have for me?" I asked.

"Nothing and everything at the same time."

"The company doesn't exist. They closed down on October twenty third of last year. Before they closed down they did every thing barely on this side of legal so your two friends are okay. Their plane tickets home are a round trip ticket so they are able to leave."

"Okay, what do I do about Bella being in that house with that awful woman and her daughter?"

"Get her out of there as soon as you can. Call the police if you have to."

"Thanks for your help."

We mumbled goodbyes and signed off our computers.

I immediately went to work plotting on how to get Bella out of that house. It was a pretty simple one to. I would have her pack her bags leaving nothing out the night of the ball and then have them placed in my car when I had her picked up.

Rosalie POV

I got back to work after having lunch with Emmet and his new friend Jasper. They had met during one of their classes. Jasper was as easygoing as Emmet was but I'd never see him in a romantic since as I just got a brotherly vibe from him.

The shop was closed when I arrived. My coworkers were there in the back room. No jewelry was out. It was odd.

"Rosalie can you come to my office please."

"Sure is there something going on?" I asked.

"We have a few pieces missing or missed placed and you were the last to handle two of them."

"I didn't take them. I don't…"

"I know you didn't but I wanted you to look at the security tape. See if you recognize anyone." My boss said. "We also wants you to go through every single piece you handled today while the rest take inventory on everything else."

"Everything i worked with today came from drawer 53a and 53b." I replied but i can still look through it and the security footage."

"Okay that will make things easier." My boss said. "Now lets go meet with Joe."

My boss led me back to her office with the security camera set up. The man in charge of security was going through the footage and all ready had several clips earmarked for the police when or if they were called. I sat down in the open chair next to him.

"Okay Joe play the clips that we were talking about earlier."

Joe preceded to pull up six videos. I watched all six of them. A few faces from each of them were familiar but it was the last clip that had me twitching in my chair. The last one featured a woman that I remember. She was snooty and thought that every one lived beneath her.

"Her." I said pointing to the screen. "She played with everything on the table. She may have switched one of them out with a replica or just plainly taken one but I didn't notice anything missing when I finished with her."

"Only because you didnt use the jewlers microscope which i now believe should be used to identify each item before it is locked backup." She said. "Now did she say anything to you?"

"Just that her name was Tanya other wise i just tuned her out. I think she said it was and she said something about that duke's ball coming up." I replied. "She may be going to it. Am I going to be in trouble for this?"

"You will not be in any legal trouble but you will be on probation." My boss replied. "If there are no further incidents involving you, you will be awarded everything you were told about when you applied for this internship."

"Thank you."

"There is no need but I do want you to go though the drawers you worked with and cheap each and every piece."

I spent the next few hours going over each and every piece in drawers 53a and 53b. I even had my boss double check the pieces. I wasn't sure about. All the pieces I had worked with were had been accounted for except for one. The other missing piece wasn't really missing it had been placed in the wrong cubby hole in the drawer.

"Julia." I called.

"How are do doing?"

"Good but there is still one piece missing." I said. "Do you have the sales records. Because I think Tanya bought something but I'm not sure what."

"I'll see what I can find. Leave the info sheets so I can compare them. To everything we have sold this past week." She replied. "You can go home now."
