BellaPOV

The first thing I realized I woke up was that I was no longer in the Dunn house. I blinked a few more times and my vision finally cleared enough for me to see that I was in a hospital room. My second thought was how did my dad get here so quickly; as i could see him sleeping in a chair beside my bed. I couldn't be happier that he was here with me.

For the next week I slept off and on. While I was awake there were several test I had done several times and so much so that I was becoming with all of the test and the doctors and nurses that preformed them. I do not think that I could have been any happier than the moment I was told I was all clear to go home. However because of my injuries I was released into my fathers care. I left the hospital in a wheel chair since one of my legs and one of my arms was broken.

"Dad where are we staying?" I asked on our way to the elevator.

"Jasper has arranged for us to stay at the Boscastle home with him." Dad replied. "If we didn't have the Boscastle home to stay in we would be going to a hotel." He paused. "There is no way in hell that I would let you return there."

"I figured as much but it so cool that the Boscastle's are letting us stay with them since we have no idea when I will be able to leave." I replied.

Twenty minutes later I was sitting comfortably on a bed in one of the boscastle guest rooms. All of my stuff had been placed inside of the room with me. All but one anyway.

"How are you doing Bella?" Jasper asked from the doorway.

"Good for now. Tired and in a little bit of pain but I can deal." I said. "I can't keep my place in this book."

I tossed the book I was reading aside.

"A broken arm and leg will do that to you. Have you heard anything about Tanya?"

"I've only heard that she is trying to post bail and that she might plead insanity but I'm not sure how true that is."

"That sucks. I wish I cou…"

"Don't Jasper there is nothing you could have done. You just being my friend is enough." I replied. "I honestly don't want to be here anymore. In England I mean.. I guess for the first time In my life Forks, Washington is calling me home."

"That is not something that I thought would ever happen." Jasper said. "Most of us want to leave an not come back."

"I'm guessing that you count yourself among those that don't want to come back to Forks. But yeah I didn't think it would either." I said.

"Does your dad know?"

"I haven't figured out how to tell him."

An hour after I told Jasper I wanted to go home Charlie came Into the room. He brought a dinner plate with him.

"Dad I can eat out there." I tell him.

"Pete's mom told me to bring it to you." He said. "How are you feeling?"

"I'm good. My pain is bearable and I am getting tired."

"Just eat that before you fall asleep."

He moved back toward the door. He made no mention of what I said to Jasper.

"Did he tell you." I asked.

"Did who tell me about what?"

"Jasper," I said. "Did he tell you what I told him?"

"He has not said anything to me. He just went to his room and called Alice." He replied. "Why what did you tell him?"

"Just that I wanted to go home as soon as I possibly could."

"Okay that I understand but that also depends on what the doctors say. I don't want to put any extra risk on you." He said. "I don't want something else wrong to happen to you."

"I figured as much.." I replied. "I just know that I don't want to stay here a single bit longer than I have to and I am getting tired of saying that."

"I know and understand. Anytime I get hurt on the job I would rather rest at home than in a cold and sterile hospital room."

"I guess you and I are the same like that."

"I'm going to leave you alone now." He said. "Eat your dinner and we will see what the doctor says in a week." He paused. "If they give you the all clear I will book the flight."

"Don't surprise me. Airports are stricken about that kind of thing."
