So...this is at an end. I know a lot of you enjoyed the snarkier sides of Elizabeth and Jason and would probably like to see this continue but, seeing as I have been away for almost four years, a lot of my older stories, have left me with that feeling of, 'where the hell was I going with this, what did I want to do with this...' feeling. So I am hoping that you won't hate me for maybe finishing some of these a little abruptly, but hopefully, you will think well. Please leave feedback, thoughts, comments, spelling and or typo mistakes, my muse loves to hear what you think, feel...she's a sappy, happy bitch and you guys are the best. Hope you enjoy and just so you know, this is longer than most of my stuff recently. *HUGS*
Chapter Eighteen
Five years later…
"Elizabeth, do you know where my tie is?" Jason asked.
"Want to be a little more specific?"
"Umm…my…tie?" Jason said, a little confused.
"Jason, you have five ties, which tie are you asking about?"
A little annoyed with his wife, Jason huffed a breath, "The blue one, you know the one you say matches my eyes…"
"Umm…" Elizabeth said a faraway look in her eyes.
Jason watched as Elizabeth paced back and forth, a distant look in her eyes, until she turned to him with what could be considered the sexiest, most heart stopping look he had ever seen.
"Try the bedpost handsome!" Elizabeth exclaimed as she practically smoldered to a stop in front of him.
Jason went from calm, cool and collected to instantaneously hard. "Oh…yeah…the bedpost…" He said in a husky whisper. "How long until we are needed at the church?"
Take a quick look at the clock on the wall, Elizabeth said, "73 minutes…" Before she had time to finish, her shirt was gone and her shorts were around her ankles.
"More than enough time…" Jason said, while throwing his lovely wife over his shoulder.
With a lusty giggle, Elizabeth asked, "Since when is that ever enough time, the last time you said that, we missed your father's birthday."
"Less talk, more loving." Jason said as he kicked their bedroom door closed.

"We are gathered here today…"
Mac and Diane were as giddy as a school boy throughout the ceremony.
It had taken a long time for things to fall into place but after everything happened with the less than savory people of Port Charles, Mac took a long look at his life and realized that being the Commissioner was no longer his passion. He finished up his term and the resigned. He could not work in a profession where the good guys were even worse than most of the bad guys.
If he had stayed, he feared he was going to end up just as corrupt. So with a new romance just burgeoning, he decided now was the time to make changes and did. He refused to watch his life pass him by. Within a year of discovering he loved Diane and wanted more than his job, he made all the changes that were needed to make him and his love happy.
Now here they were, five years in the future and he could say with all honesty, going in to business with Jason Morgan, had been his second brightest idea, his first of course being, marrying the woman in his arms, as they danced their first dance as man and wife.

Five years changes a lot of things. Sonny had been convicted of assault but he had no sooner stood to be led away than the judge was handed something from the new D.A. and when all was said and done, Sonny end up going away for a lot more than assault, everything from RICO charges to organized crime and every small and big thing in between. All the while, he had screamed that Jason was just as guilty, yet everything the D.A. tried to get to stick on Jason, simply slid like water off a ducks back. Not a single piece of paper, ledger or man could prove that Jason had ever actually worked for Corinthos. Some whispered that Sonny had taken and added the name Morgan to his empire to make himself look bigger, stronger, and more untouchable. Those in the know knew Jason had a lot of friends…
Within in a month of his incarceration, God knows where, the women in Sonny's life began giving birth. Lily Rivera – who was presumed dead, gave birth to a baby girl named Electra Regan Cortinthos. Carly Corinthos gave birth to a baby girl named Jacesona Morgan Corinthos. Brenda Barrett gave birth to a baby girl, Roma Genoa Corinthos. Claudia Zacchara gave birth to a baby girl named Sienna Rose Corinthos. And the list went on, Hannah Scott had a girl, Sam McCall had a girl, shockingly, Robin Scorpio ended coming forward, that she too had a daughter by the imprisoned mob boss.
Alexis Davis gave birth to a baby girl a day after her daughter. Then came the not so dead Faith Rosco, also having a daughter, Kate Howard, you guessed it, another girl…Sadly, it was determined that in the end, every woman Sonny Corinthos had ever been with, had ended up pregnant. General Hospital won a Guinness Book World Record for most women who gave birth in one month, all fathered by the same man. 18 women, 26 babies…all of them girls.

Jason had to laugh, after all the fallout from Sonny and his harem, his life settled into a weird little utopia. The last five years had been blissfully uneventful. At least in the danger spectrum, as it happened, six months after dissolving his partnership –never having one – Jason and Mac went into business together. Johnny O'Brien and Francis Corelli were also a few of the ones who came back from the dead and in the end, became full partners of MJJF Private Eye's and Security.
Elizabeth gave birth to Jacob Alan Morgan and not six month later discovered herself knocked up again. Their life was a hectic one but so much had happened so fast that they simply lived through it. Taking each moment as they came, letting each day take care of itself. There wasn't anything to worry about in the long run, what mattered the most was their family.
"Jason, you can't keep me barefoot and pregnant forever, I am getting old…" Elizabeth said with a sigh.
"Old, you? Baby, you just turned 30!" Jason exclaimed.
"Jason, we have seven kids! I'm pregnant again, if you don't stop, I'm going to be a movie or a TV show…"
"What you mean like that hinky show Cheaper by the Dozen?" Jason asked with a smirk.
Dropping her head into her hands, Liz simply shook her head. The man, who didn't know much about pop culture, suddenly knew about Cheaper by the Dozen…wait… "Who in our life made the reference?" Elizabeth said while tapping her foot.
Gently gathering his slightly irate wife in his arms, Jason said, "Let's see, first it was my dad, he asked actually, if I was trying to create my own little league team. Then there was Edward, he asked if I was trying to fill all the offices in ELQ, I think it had more to do with his wishes than anything we have done. Then Mac was the one to ask me if I was trying for a dozen and then had to explain his reasoning. Johnny said something about Jon and Kate plus 8 or something and Francis asked about Yours, Mine and Ours…Honestly, at the end of that day, I was so confused. I finally asked Cam if he could help a poor schmuck out and let's just say, I now know way more than I ever needed to."
Taking a deep breath, before his wife could really work herself up, Jason said, "Honestly, I would make babies with you till we couldn't any more. Look at our kids, we make beautiful ones. I love you, I love our family and maybe it's because I spent so long being a dumbass but it all comes down to the fact that I spent so many years alone and desperate for a place to belong and here I am…I belong like I never have before. You have given me everything a man could ever want or need and if you let me, I will give you all the babies your heart can take, because even after five years of marriage, you still take my breath away, after eighteen years of friendship and love, you are every dream I could ever have."
" . !" Elizabeth said before bursting into tears. "I'm hormonal and you go and say that and make me feel all that and then I am supposed to be able to say no?! Jason…God! I love you. Didn't you ever want to travel and do things that are just us?" She asked, worried that her husband was missing something from their marriage and trying to find it in their numerous children.
"To be honest, I don't see why we can't travel with our kids, sure, when you are pregnant, most destinations will be out of the question but we can go anywhere, do anything with our family. We have friends who are as much family as family…we have an amazing nanny in Georgie. Her and John Z are a package deal and dote on our kids almost more than we do. Please don't think I am needing something or missing something. You and our family, the whole ragtag bunch, complete me so fully that I want it to continue to grow, for everyone to see and feel the amazing love that can be had by being a part of our family. If you give me more children, I will cherish each and every one of them."
"You know, if you would gain a little weight, maybe pick up a bad habit or twenty, maybe I'd be able to say no but you know, you are right, we make lovely babies…but seriously if you keep it up, we will have to move again, because if our family gets much bigger, even the Quartermaine Estate will not be big enough, for as you say our ragtag family."
"Well…Diane and Mac live in the cottage and it has enough room for their growing family. The twins won't be here for four months or so and the adoption of the other twins should go through any day now. The cottage has six bedrooms…John and Georgie have the east wing with the bozos…the central part of the house is taken up by the Q's and we have the west wing, if needed, we can always expand or build a bigger house so we all fit."
"John and Francis are not bozos…Do you think I will ever win an argument with you?" Elizabeth said, gently kissing her husband.
"No, why would you need to, all I want to do is love you and lavish you…kiss you, make love to you…" Jason said, slowly slipping his hand up her thigh.
Slapping his hand away, Elizabeth jumped off his lap and headed for the first floor. A closed door was a recipe for disaster where her husband was concerned. At least when it came to his ability to make her clothes disappear without any trial at all, he was a sexy, smug bastard and knew it too.
"Come back baby, I know…" Hearing his wife's frustrated growl, Jason laughed long and loud. He loved his life. Deciding that he wasn't going to get his morning loving today, he followed her downstairs.

Their family sat around the large Christmas tree, everyone coming together to celebrate the newest Scorpio's and Morgan's. Their newborn baby girl Cordelia and newborn son Atticus and their adopted sons Athos and Artemis, Diane to this day blames The Three Musketeers. Mac simply blamed his wife's love of all things pretentious. Lila and Landon Morgan were the carbon copies of their parents. It was hard to believe that at nine children, every one of them had this feature or that or one of their parents but the newest children…it was almost as if they had taken everything their parents were and put it directly into the right child.
Monica and Alan had a rocky few years but after she got a handle on not only her drinking but her fatalistic attitude, things started turning around. It only took a divorce, a year of angry words and another year of making up, to make it down the aisle again.
It wasn't a perfect life but it was a good one. They all had their ups and downs but no matter how many downs they suffered, they always managed to bounce back, better than ever.
Love was the key all along. As the years passed, they loved each other through the good times and the bad; they loved one another through their losses and their newest editions. It was a life well led, a family formed when things seemed to be coming apart at the seams.
Many, many years in the future, still surrounded by their family, Jason and Elizabeth laid snug in one another's arms.
"Did you ever think, that all those years ago, simply speaking your mind and not letting the users of our lives take over, we'd ever be here?" Elizabeth asked, her voice but a whisper.
"I couldn't have fathomed that our life, our family and our friends would have ever been this full, this wonderful. If I had known then, what I know now, I would have kicked my younger self's ass, just so we could have started this journey so much earlier. I have no desire to say goodbye, to see this end." Jason said, hugging his wife tightly.
"It's not goodbye my darling. It is simply see you later. For this life and any others, you are mine, as I am yours. Nothing, not even death can end what we have." Elizabeth said as she placed a final kiss to her husband's lips.
"You are right, not even death can separate or stop the love I have for you. In this life or the next, our love will continue."
And as the lovers lay wrapped around one another, they took their last breath. Love truly was endless. For what started would never have an end, that was the beauty of true and lasting love.
