Nico watched his mother leave, and then turned to face Luke. He started walking toward them. The three men heard his footsteps and looked. Percy saw him and a glow emitted from him. HE smiled and said, "Nico!"
Luke saw the glow, and the man walking toward them. He looked at Alabaster, "Get him!"
Alabaster nodded and ran up a set of stairs that lead to a walkway, while Luke kept shifting his eyes between Percy and Nico. He turned and walked away. Alabaster ran the length of the walkway until he got where he wanted, and jumped over, landing near Nico. He and Nico watched each other as they moved around. Nico looked around and saw animals in cages, all looking pissed off. He used his sword to break the chains and the doors flew open. He watched as the animals in the bottom cages, which were ferrets and squirrels, ran for Alabaster and started attacking him. Nico opened more cages, and more animals ran for Alabaster. Screams of "NO! Get off me!" were heard as Alabaster was eaten alive. (Author shudders, Narrator covers his eyes)
Everyone shuddered, and winced as they watched. Once they had killed Alabaster, all the animals ran out the very same door that Maria had run through. Maria jumped onto the windowsill, She didn't want to be their next meal.
Once they were gone, she turned back to watch what happened.
Luke glared at Nico, angry. He descended the stairs, and stood in front of the foundation. Nico watched him, nerves in his eyes. He walked forward, passing Ares's body. Luke smirked at him, "What's it going to be, Prince Charming? Frog or tadpole?" Luke threw a ball of magic at Nico, but it didn't affect him. Luke raised an eyebrow.
Nico grinned, opening his jacket. Luke saw the flower in his lapel and gave an angry smile. He looked around, and started calling vases to attack Nico. Nico ducked the first one, but the second hit him. He fell in a shard of vases, but was not hurt. Percy whimpered when he saw the vase hit Nico. Luke looked at Percy, then turned back. While he had done this, Nico grabbed the small canister of lightning and opened it, sending lightning toward Luke. It missed the first time, but the second hit Luke and sent him flying to the foundation. Luke crawled and saw the clay puppet of Ares. He smiled evilly and grabbed it. The body of Ares came alive, and went after Nico as Luke stood up and went back up the stairs to where Percy lay. Nico and Ares had a spectacular fight, and Nico kept stabbing Ares, but since the body was dead, it didn't stop fighting. It was an amazing sword fight (The author suggests you find a sword fight on YouTube and watch that. No clue how to explain it)
Eventually, Nico finds ropes that hold up chandeliers, and cuts one. It crashes on the stairs just behind Luke. The second one crashes in the middle of the room, but the third one Nico grabbed the rope before he cut it, it crashed on Ares's dead body, while throwing Nico to where Percy lay. Nico crashed into Luke, sending both of them tumbling. Nico got up and ran to Percy. He started working on the binds. Percy yelled, "Nico!"
Nico turned around to see Luke spinning knives around, and they had a small sword fight before Luke managed to disarm Nico. The biggest knife was pointed at Nico's throat. Luke looked at Chris, Dead against a wall, and the chewed up remains of Alabaster. He got extremely sad, and screamed as he slammed the knife down.
