(Sorry for not updating ^^" Please, no my clawing me XD Anywaaaay...I really dont know what to say for this chapter, other than this...

Things are going to start getting heated.)

"Hah! Gotcha!"

"Come one Flamekit no fair!"

"Oh well too bad! You are bigger than me!"

"Oh I'm so going to tackle you now!"

Gingerkit tackled Flamekit, both kits squealing in excitement. Squirrelflight was busy cleaning Sunkit, watching her little off springs play with amused green eyes. She waved her tail in greeting to her sister, who was leaving on hunting patrol with Lionblaze, Brightheart and Dustpelt. Her eyes then drifted to the corner where Owlwhisker and the other Windclan cat were conversing silently to each other.

Bramblestar was basking outside of his den when Jayfeather came up to him, and the queen perked her ears to listen. The clan grew silent, Bramblestar standing and stretching languidly before padding over to the medicine cat.

"Dreams again Jayfeather?"

"Yes," he mewed. "Leafpool said she will tell you hers after she's done hunting." Bramblestar mewed lowly in acknowledgement and flicked his ear for Jayfeather to continue. "Cherry and her patrol are OK, though they bare wounds from the big cats' attack." Murmurs rose from the clan, the Windclan cats finally padding over to listen.

"Who is Cherry?" Crowfeather asked. Jayfeather gave an annoyed flick of his ear and narrowed his eyes.

"Cherry is the leader of the patrol on their way to help us, now shush."

Crowfeather growled lowly. His son was being utterly rude today. His fur was a bit messy and he looked tired. 'Maybe the dreams aren't giving him any sleep,' he thought.

"They managed to kill one of them, so now they are healed and on their way again."

"You did point out the necessary herbs need to treat them and how to use them right?" Cinderheart's worried new came.

Jayfeather sighed and nodded his head. "Yes I did Cinderheart. I even had them hide their scents. The big cats could've picked it up by now, if they haven't already, but it will delay them and hopefully get our help to us safely."

"That is good," Bramblestar mewed to him, looking down at his paws in thought.

"I also, received a message from Starclan." All the cats turned to look at the Windclan ones, who frowned and narrowed their eyes. "It's OK. I'm sure they have told the other medicine cats as well," Jayfeather stated, swiveling his ears around. "For future warning, everything else that is going to happen is completely not a part of our warriors code. Giving that, we have permission to do what we can, but only if it's necessary. This came from our previous leaders and medicine cats. It seems that the terror they see is very dangerous for our future."

"Starclan is afraid," one cat whispered. Jayfeather napped his jaws together and growled.

"Afraid yes, but they are not weak. They are doing what they can do in their power to help us prepare, even with the foreign ancestors help. We have to get this done right or the clans will die, and this time forever."

Mews filled the air, doubts and fears were whispered from one cat to the other. Squirrelflight's shock yowl alerted them as Flamekit came running, well stumbling, into the crowd. He let loose a cute yowl and tackled Bramblestar's leg, the tom widening his eyes slightly in surprise. Flamekit fell back on her rump and shook her head, staggering to stand up and liked at her father, green eyes shimmering with determination. "I'm going to beat that big cat up! Then he won't mess with the clans anymore!"

Bramblestar purred in amusement. "Will you now Flamekit?"

"No! I am!" Sunkit yowled, running over to Bramblestar while tripping on the way. Gingerkit followed, all three kits had their fluffy fur bristled and small tails erected, trying to look as threatening as possible.

"They won't know what kit them!" Gingerkit crowed, swiping the air with his paw. Flamekit and Sunkit puffed out their chests and held their heads high.

"They'll be afraid of us!"

"Of course they will," Leafpool muffled two thrushes in her mouth. The kits squeaked and ran over to her, swarming her paws and making her stumble slightly.

"Is that a bird?"

"Can I have a bite?"

"Wow their big!"

"Yes, no and yes they are, now let me go before I fall on you," Leafpool mewed affectionately, swiping them away with her tail. She trotted over to the fresh kill pile and dropped her prey, licking her lips to rid them of loose feathers. Squirrelflight call her kits over to her, sending Leafpool laughing eyes. Leafpool grinned, trotting over to Bramblestar and Jayfeather. She stopped beside Crowfeather, the blackish grey tom staring her down. They stayed like that for a while in a meaningful glare, and then Leafpool broke contact and sat beside Jayfeather. Jayfeather wrinkled his nose and turned away slightly, making Leafpool sigh.

"And your dream Leafpool?"

"Whitethunder and his patrol have been captured. They are on the move now as we speak." Bramblestar gave a grim nodded. "And I got a message from Starclan," she said hesitantly, look at Jayfeather. "Did you tell them already?" Jayfeather, realizing she was talking to him, gave a curt nod. Leafpool nodded herself and turned to Bramblestar. "There is also something else I need to speak with you about, in private."

Bramblestar tilted his head in surprise. "Oh? Well OK. To my den." He rose and turned to walk away, stopping when a gasp was heard by the clans. He looked back, his fur slightly bristling in shock as he saw Crowfeather following beside her. His eyes traveled over to Jayfeather, who had Thornclaw whispering in his ear. Pale blue eyes narrowed and the blind tom stood and stalked away to his den, Lionblaze following close behind. Flicking his tail in confusion, he turned and walked inside of his den.

~ooo~

Jayfeather was seething when he entered his den. What was Leafpool doing walking beside that cat with their pelts brushing?! When he had asked what was happening, Thornclaw had told him, and it made him angry. 'They act as though they are deciding to be mates again,' Jayfeather thought darkly. He froze in place as he his eyes stared at nothing. 'They can't be, they wouldn't. It's not allowed, and she knows it's not allowed! Unless...that fox!' Jayfeather was a whole level of mad now. 'How could she? Abuse Starclan's permission to do what is not permitted in the warrior's code just to be with him! How dare she?!'

Jayfeather heard Lionblaze walk in and instantly rounded on his brother. "Do you see why I can't trust her?! She is getting with that Windclan cat anyway! She would rather betray her clan than think what's best for them! And the way she is going about it is so fox hearted!"

"Jayfeather what are you talking about?!" Lionblaze need incredulously. He was surprised by his brother's anger and the hate in his words.

"You know what I'm talking about! The whole clan is talking about it?! Don't you see? How she is sneaking out with him now, how often the two talk together! She was planning this! She still has feeling for him, despite him denying us as his kits!" 'I had a feeling this was going to happen, ever since we made that trio to Windclan!'

"And where did you hear this from?" Lionblaze asked, eyes narrowed in suspicion. Jayfeather faltered as he sensed the changing of the air around his brother. It was very, intimidating.

"The clans," he murmured.

"The clans and who else?" Lionblaze mewed dangerously. It shocked Jayfeather into silence. Lionblaze was angry, but for what? 'Because he is too naive. He believes in Leafpool too much to see her flaws.'

"Thornclaw and Toadstep," Jayfeather mewed finally, raising his head at his brother. "And they are right. I will not let Leafpool trick me again, or us. You have to see it Lionblaze! She has deceived us once! We can't let her do it again!"

"She is not trying to deceive us Jayfeather! I know what she is doing because she told me about it! She told me her and Crowfeather were planning on going to retrieve Whitethunder and his patrol!"

"Lies! All of it! Why would she need Crowfeather?! Why not just take you or Cloudtail! Or even Ivypool?! Why not them! And why just the two of them?! Why not bring a regular patrol?!"

"Because Skyclan told her too!"

"When have we ever taken orders from Skyclan?!"

Lionblaze went silent, and Jayfeather would have argued on, had the air around Lionblaze was already dangerously dark that he was afraid of what would happen if he did. "And this is why she didn't tell you, Jayfeather, because she knew you would have this reaction. And now Thornclaw and Toadstep..."

Lionblaze rose from his spot on the ground and walked of the den. Jayfeather followed after him with a growl, but it was drowned out by an angry yowl.

"Stay away from Jayfeather, Thornclaw, if you know what's good for you."

Then he heard Lionblaze pad into the warriors den. Jayfeather backed away into his den, a dreadful feeling in his gut telling him he had started something bad. He padded over to his nest to take a nap, only to stop and cringe. 'No, no sleep. I can't let them have me again,' he thought shakily. He couldn't let Flameblood and Killerfang occupy his dreams again, at least not now. He knew he would have to sleep sometimes.

~ooo~

Leafpool was shocked to hear Lionblaze's angry yowl, quickly poking her head out of Bramblestar's den to see her son nose to nose with an equally angry but slightly shaken Thornclaw. What were he and Toadstep doing to Jayfeather that made Lionblaze so angry?

"You know I can't let you two go alone with each other, and for obvious reasons," Bramblestar mewed lowly, casting them suspicious looks. Leafpool backed away and sat back beside an annoyed Crowfeather, the tom glaring down at the ground. "But, if Skyclan says that you have to take Crowfeather then I can't interfere with it, though I don't see why you have to take just him. When the time comes you can go, but don't do anything traitorous." Leafpool flinched at the word, but nodded her head in understanding. "It's not that I don't trust you Leafpool, but after the last event, I have to be cautious. I can trust you not to do anything, right?"

Leafpool looked into his yellow eyes and nodded. "Of course, Bramblestar."

"Yea, it's not like I want to do anything with her," Crowfeather said with a glare in her direction.

"Don't worry Crowfeather. As soon as this is over you can go back to your clan and I can continue shredding your son's fur." That made the dark grey male growl warningly, one that Leafpool eagerly returned. Bramblestar watched the two with barely suppressed amusement.

"Alright then, I permit it. Bring them back safely when you do, Leafpool. After Cherry and her group come to us we will go and talk to Onestar."

With a final nod the three left the den. Leafpool let her worry show as she hastily made her way to the warriors den. She looked back as she felt two pairs of eyes burning her back, meeting the eyes of Thornclaw and Toadstep. She met their sneer with her own disgusted sneer before she padded into the den, to try and calm her angry lion.
