A/N: I'm a bad person, I know, I know. That's why you guys haven't been reviewing. :c I've been incredibly into Teen Wolf, and being the bad person that I am, I'm writing a fanfiction on Derek/OC for my own pure pleasure. :|
creamtherabbit77: Egh... Jenny's a one-shot kind of character. There are probably way too many girls that have a crush on Dick. ;) But if you want... we'll see, we'll see.
LadyFelton1994: Thanks! And sorry for the late reply. LOL. Well, I've got accepted into Cal State Long Beach. :3
Guest: Thank you! :D
Xmidniteangel15X: We'll have more of those moments! I actually have a Verena-being-an-overprotective-friend-for-Barbara moment written out. LOL.
piggythelaw: Sophomore year was a bit tough for me... I was pretty much finding who and how I wanted to spend my life. Junior year was just tough. Senior year makes me just hate the world. LOL. j/k Senior year's amazing, and even though I talk about not having an emotional attachment to my high school, I do. :c I'm probably gonna be one of those suckers that cries during graduation. LFENIDMKSAD.
That dorky blonde: It won't play a role in this story... much. Maybe when we actually hit Invasion and the story that follows afterwards. :3
ywons54: You're quite a curious bugger, aren't you? ;) Your answers are below.
bluepenquin1998: Thank you!
TheMadnessWithin13: Oh hey, you're a new reader, aren't you? :) Their ages are answered below in case someone wants to know, too. There's just too much text in review responses. LOL.
Aquarius589: Thank you! Idk about that kind of chapter... it's rather bland to only have one thing going on... LOL.
Q&A:
Xmidnightangel15X asks: (1) When is poor Verena going to get her growth spurt? (2) In this series is Barbara going to join the Bat clan?
(1) Probably never. LOL. She'll grow a bit, but it won't be that noticeable. xD (2) She'll be Batgirl eventually, just not any time soon. :)
ywons54 asks: (1) Is someone going to come between Rob and Fal? Is this someone a villain pretending to be a hero? Zatanna? That captured person? (2) Will there be Robin bashing? (3) Is Verena going to be kicked off the Team or is that someone else?
(1) I'm gonna pull a Greg: SPOILER REQUEST, NO COMMENT. (2) NONONONONO. I love Dick and the other Robins too much for that! (3) SPOILER REQUEST, NO COMMENT. - Aww man, I love doing that. LOL. I'm an asshole.
TheMadnessWithin13 asks: How old are Robin and Fal in this?
Robin is 13 and Fal is 12. This takes place eight months after the end of Young Justice.
Aquarius589 asks: Is Barbara going to find out about [Dick and Verena's] IDs soon?
Not for a while, but eventually, she will. I just don't know exactly when.

"The usual spots?" Robin inquired, slipping on his mask.
"Yeah," I replied, adjusting my own mask. I checked to make sure my two main guns were working, with the other two hidden in my boots. I also had two pieces of a gun that I could connect in my utility belt, which could connected into one.
Once they passed the quick inspection, I slid them back into their holsters before climbing on to my bike. I put on my helmet and revved the engine, before taking off with Robin right beside me.
"I'll take the east, you take the west?" Robin proposed over our link.
"Yeah, that's good," I agreed, nodding my head, even though he probably didn't see it. I angled my body to the left when there was a fork in the road as I turned right, and revved my engine again before shooting off.
I entered the Zeta-Beam, drove out of the alley, and onto the street. I practically flew through the traffic, barely seen and barely heard. If anything, they felt me drive past them.
I skidded to a stop a block from my destination, hiding my bike before finishing the rest on foot. I looked up at the old, dirty building and the bright neon lights of the pub, My Alibi, flashed back at me. I made sure to keep myself in the shadows to avoid being seen.
I found the fire escape and scaled up the building as swiftly and silently as I could. There wasn't a single squeak in my steps as I made careful note to not arouse any sounds that would cause the people inside to be aware of me.
While Batman was the night, I was the shadows that accompanied him.
I kept silent as I landed on the roof, stalkin over to the glass that protected the ceiling of the building. The window was open and as I got closer to have a peek, the stench of cigarettes filled my nostrils and I wrinkled my nose. How disgusting.
I opened the window wider and threw a birdarang down onto the billiard table the men were surrounding. They looked stunned for a moment, but before they could do anything else, I launched myself down all twenty feet.
I landed on the pool table smoothly on my feet before propping my hands on my hips. "I'm gonna give you guys three seconds to sit down and let me ask my questions."
"Fuck that!" I heard from behind me. I whirled around quickly, kicking the gun away from the man's hand at the same time before grabbing his wrist and forcefully pushing him down to the ground.
"That's not a really nice thing to say to a lady," I scolded, gripping the man's wrist tighter, causing him to cry out. "I come here for a nice conversation and you leave me hanging? Jeez, people are so rude."
"Yo, we didn't do nothing!" a man called from behind me. "Why are you here, Batbrat?"
I let go of the wrist I was holding and the owner of said wrist crumpled to the ground before backing away rapidly. I slowly turned and said, "I somehow doubt that. And it's 'I didn't do anything'. Didn't you learn a negative times a negative is a positive?"
The guy that spoke back to me growled before pulling out a gun, pointing it directly at my face.
I, however, was undeterred and kept the uninterested look on my face. "Really," I sighed, as others brought out their guns, pointing them at me. "You'd think they'd learn," I mumbled.
I quickly kicked one of the pool balls at a nearby guy. It made direct contact with his forehead, and with the force I used, he was quickly knocked out. I spun around and kicked two more balls, swiping another two with my hands.
The two I kicked landed with perfect accuracy and I threw the other balls at two guys, knocking their guns out of their hands. I jumped off the pool table and grabbed the only two that were still conscious roughly and pinned them to the wall behind them.
"I'm looking for a few missing girls," I said sternly. I pushed them further into the wall when they continued to struggled.
"I don't know what you're talking about," the guy I held choked out. "I've got two kids at home! That ain't my style!"
I narrowed my eyes and released him. He fell to the ground, coughing heavily and I stalked out of the room, completely unsatisfied with the end result.
After that, I hit joint after joint after joint, but there was still no trace of the girls.
"Anything?" Robin's voice filled out private com-link.
I landed on the roof of a building in a crouching position. I overlooked the city, relishing in the cool, late summer wind that brushed through my hair before replying, "No."
"Me neither," Robin informed me. "It's getting late. Let's wrap it up for the night and we'll see what we can do tomorrow."
I nodded, even though he couldn't see and stood back up. I looked down at the streets of Gotham one last time before shooting my gun, swinging back to where my bike was.
I straddled my bike and revved the engine. A sense of fatigue hit me out of nowhere and I shook it off, kicking up the stand. I took off, heading back home.
My tires came to a screeching stop as I slid into the Batcave easily after a few minutes. I took off my helmet, throwing it on the handles of my bike before walking to the Batcomputer, where Dick was already waiting.
"I sense an air of defeat," Alfred commented from a few feet from us. "Were tonight's efforts unrewarding?"
"Eight missing girls and no trail left behind," Dick commented, leaning against the counter. He let out a heavy sigh. "We're definitely missing something."
"No kidding," I sighed, turning around so I could lean against the Batcomputer. "We'll have to figure it out."
"Not right now, you won't," Bruce said, jumping out of the Batmobile. "Get some rest. You'll be on this assignment until it's solved."
"What about Dark Nemesis?" Dick inquired, turning to our mentor. "And Pylon and The Veil?"
"You both don't need more than another day," Bruce said easily. "Atom's taken over for now, though."
I smiled at the confidence he had in us. To others, it might sound like he was giving us a deadline, but he's Batman. Batman just knows things. I pushed myself off the counter and bid the males good night, deciding to hit the sack.
There was more work to do tomorrow.

Let me tell you something.
If you ever try sneaking around, there is never going to be a comfortable place for you to hide. You'll have to angle yourself to hide in the shadows and adjust to the light every time there's movement.
You hide in corners, swooped down as low as possible, and you get quite acquainted with the floor around you. One slip and noise, you're done.
Ventilation shafts? Those were the worst. They smell, they're hot, and they're quite cramped. But we had to deal, because that's the way our job works.
"So you're saying that your friend 'dissed you' and you went home alone after that?" Commissioner Gordon inquired.
"Yeah."
"And you didn't see or talk to her at all after that?"
"Nope."
"She just moved to Gotham, too, right? And that's it, Claire?"
I took a glance at Dick, who frowned. 'Guess we'll have to walk home today,' I told him.
He nodded in agreement. 'Yeah. The best we can do is retrace her steps. If that's the case, if she got abducted on her way home, one of us has to stay out of sight while the other acts as bait.'
'I'll do it,' I volunteered. 'He's after girls.'
'Maybe we should get you into a disguise,' Dick commented. 'A wig or something.'
I shook my head. 'It'll fall off in the process, whatever he plans to do with me. Besides, they'll never know. If we take him out before I get reported missing - which I doubt will happen, Bruce will just say I'm away on work - you bring an extra set of my uniform for me and throw it to me in the midst of the chaos.'
Dick nodded his head. 'And if it gets compromised, that's what we have the Martians for,' he completed my thought.
'Exactly,' I agreed. 'But it won't come to that. Now, let's go.'
As quietly as we came, we crawled through the ventilation shafts silently. We found the classroom we left our stuff in before we climbed down quickly, and I made sure I looked presentable. It was the Mathletes' meeting room, but since it wasn't in session yet, it was completely empty.
"You got a little dust," Dick said, reaching forward. He wiped it away and we heard someone walking down the hallway to the room. He quickly pulled me to him and I threw my arms around his neck just as he crashed his lips down on mine.
I heard the door open and a voice exclaimed, "Oh, gross! I've been looking for you two everywhere for the past half hour and I find out you've been making out?"
Dick and I pulled away, and I whirled around, eyes widened in shock when I saw Barbara standing there. "Oh, crap!" I exclaimed, my eyes darting to the clock. I looked at Dick, "We have to be at the company at four!"
Barbara frowned. "Another job?"
"Sorry, Babs," Dick apologized. "Duty calls." You don't know how much.
Barbara sighed. "Fine. But I expect some hang-out time this week! Not next week!"
"Promise!" Dick and I exclaimed before rushing out of the room. "Love ya, Babs!"
"I feel bad for not telling her," I exhaled as we ran (slowly, by our standards) out of the building. "I kinda wish it could be like with Kyle."
"Not everyone can lead the lives we lead, V," Dick commented. We darted out of the school grounds and turned to an isolated corner. We blended with the shadows and he looked at me. "Be careful, alright?"
I smiled, and leaned up to kiss him. "I always am. Besides, you'll be right there."
Dick walked off, and I waited a couple of minutes before heading down the street after him. He was gone, of course, with no trace of him being here. My instincts, however, told me he was in perfect range. I could feel him.
"Hello, there," a voice greeted me, and I felt the hairs on the back of my neck stand. Bingo.
I turned my head and immediately recognized the face. Even with the disguise, and the acting, there was no hiding that crazed, insane look. And the overly large head.
"The Mad Hatter. Should've known," I heard Robin's voice in my com-link.
AKA Jervis Tetch. A complete genius and complete loon. He was obsessed with the story, Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, and always spent his time looking for Alice.
"Would you like to try a free bonnet? It's while supplies last," he said, handing it to me.
I blinked, cocking my head to the side. "Free?" I brushed my hair behind my ear and he glanced at my hand, watching some blonde locks escape from between my fingers.
"That's it, Alice has blonde hair too," I heard Robin mutter.
Tetch's smile spread and his pale, dull blue eyes twinkled. "Yes. For a limited time only."
"Oh," I said, nodding thoughtfully. "Thank you." I smiled and took it from him.
"Any time, dear," he smiled, revealing his overly large teeth. "Enjoy them."
"I will," I replied before turning my heel. I walked away, examining the headphones. "Snap me out of it once I lead you to the girls," I hissed quietly before throwing on the headphones.
Immediately, all my senses dulled and I had no idea where I was going. I saw things, but I didn't see anything. My body just kept moving. Where am I going?
I then felt something surge through me and slowly regained conscious. When I found myself coming to, the sun was already setting. It felt only like seconds…
"You were out of it for four hours," Dick told me in my com-link. "You walked a seven miles. I stuck a mini-EMP on you just now. It's on the side of your skirt."
My hand reached up a bit and I grabbed the EMP before shoving it into my blazer pocket. I acted silently and just barely before Tetch exited a purple van. "Come, my ladies. We're late for a party."
I sat quietly in the back of the van, with the driver taking us to who-knows-where. It wasn't until another hour did we stop, and when we did, I quickly closed my eyes, just like the rest of the girls.
I felt myself get picked up and heard Tetch order, "Go change them."
"Yes, boss," I heard multiple rough voices grunt.
I felt them walk a distance before the sounds of doors creaking open before they were slammed shut. There we go.
I launched my fist upward, knocking the grunt that had me to the ground. I jumped out of the way and slapped on my mask that was in my pocket before roundhouse-kicking another grunt. I caught the two girls that flew out of his hand.
I heard thuds and winced when I saw they just dropped the other girls they had. I gently placed the two girls down on the ground, charging at them before they could pull out their guns. That was a no-no.
I tripped two before punching them in their faces, knocking them out. I spotted a flash of yellow before ducking, the birdarangs pinning the last two to the wall. They struggled against their pins, but I simply walked over to them. My arms crossed into an X as I punch both of them, and they slumped, knocked out.
"Thanks," I said, catching the bag Robin handed me.
"Just doin' my job. I'll erase their memories of the past two minutes," Robin informed me and I nodded before walking behind a set of crates. I changed easily and came back just as Robin was pulling out a needle from one of the guys.
"It's quite convenient having drugs that can knock out a person's memory," I commented, cocking a gun of mine. "Scary, but convenient."
We never used them unless it was necessary (as in when our identities were at stake), but we, as in every single one of us aligned with the Justice League, had a special drug Batman, Atom, and Captain Atom developed to erase temporary memories in case we didn't have anyone with psychic powers around us.
Actually, I think Batman didn't even need them at all. He could just scare out the memories. He was good at stuff like that.
I felt someone behind me before ducking out of instinct. The crater in front of me cracked open, and I glanced behind me. The Mad Hatter grinned at us and looked at me and gasped. "Oh my, Alice, so glad of you to join us."
"Please," I scoffed. "You've got another problem to deal with before me."
Just as I said that, Robin tackled the Mad Hatter and gripped him tightly around the collar. "Tell me how to wake them up!" my boyfriend growled, his face contorting into a snarl. If I was any other girl, I'd be screaming, but since I was me, I just leaned back and enjoyed the show.
Even when the girls started waking up and heading towards Robin, I just stood up straight and walked away. The Mad Hatter laughed and taunted Robin, but was cut off by a punch. Hah.
I opened the door just as a man in spectacles and a brown suit was about to. "What the-?" he started, but was cut off by me punching him. He slumped to the ground, and I heard the familiar sounds of guns clicking.
I arched a brow. "You really wanna shoot me?"
Without answering me, they began to shoot, and I dodged out of the way of the bullets. I pulled out my own guns and began shooting at their hands. They all let out cries of pain as I shot them, one by one, making them drop their weapons.
I dropped to the ground and swiped my feet, knocking them all over in the process. One scrambled for one of their guns, but I grabbed the nozzle and shoved it at his nose. I heard a crack and he cried out in pain, rolling over and cradling his face.
I stomped my foot down on the guts of one of them as I leaned forward and punched another in the face. One scrambled for my ankle, but I shot up, twisting my heel and my foot dug deeper into one of the guys' guts.
Multiple cries of pain echoed in the hallway but I simply blocked out the sound and gave them each a punch in the face, and their bodies went limp.
An impressed whistle echoed through the empty hallway. I looked up and just as I expected, Robin was leaning against the doorframe, right ankle crossed over his left foot, arms over his chest. "Not bad."
"Thanks," I smiled. "Tetch?" I bobbed my head to the door in question.
"Knocked out," Robin commented. "The girls are starting to wake up too, and I contacted the authorities." Just as he said that, I could hear the faint sounds of sirens in the distance. "That's our cue."
I smiled again before we scrammed out of the scene. I discovered that we were in East Gotham, and I knew just where to go. Robin followed behind me, knowing where I was leading us.
We slid into a telephone booth, and the Zeta-Beam engulfed us.
"Recognized: Robin: B-Zero-One. Black Falcon: B-Zero-Two."
Just as I entered, I heard Wally cry out before a crash. "Hi, Conner," I greeted, smiling at my half-brother.
Conner got up from his stance and looked at me. "Hey, Falcon."
"Hi, Wally," I greeted the pile of junk on the side.
"Hey…" I heard a dazed Wally greet before grunting. He popped out from underneath the pile and asked, "Where were you guys?"
"Computer, Gotham News," Robin and I responded, and a hologram of the news appeared.
"- found the eleven missing girls. There was no evidence of who stopped The Mad Hatter, AKA Jervis Tetch, but the girls say through their daze, they spotted Robin and Black Falcon."
"I heard about your assignment," Atom commented, entering the room with a few others. "If I do say so myself, well done."
Wolf let out a soft growl, nodding his head towards us before walking over to Conner and circling him affectionately. Conner patted him dutifully.
"We have managed to find out more about the Veil," Kaldur explained. "We have encountered Pylon on today's mission."
"And what do they want? World domination? Destroy the world? Money?" Robin asked.
"Option B," Artemis replied. "Sort of. They wanna eradicate the world all extraterrestrial life on this world, whether they're a threat to Earth or not."
"Fun," I replied bluntly.
"Fun?" Donna echoed. "I don't see how this would be labeled as fun."
"It's sarcasm, Donna," Kyle supplied.
"Well, I'm kind of serious, too," I said. "It's a lot more challenging. All I've been dealing with lately have been psychopaths that have escaped from Arkham. The whole world is involved and the satisfaction of winning is amazing."
"Last time that happened, I had a broken arm for six weeks," Wally said dully.
"It must've been so hard," Robin rolled his eyes behind his mask. "Having people cater to your every need and just sitting and relaxing when we worked our asses off during training."
"... True," Wally mused.
"Wouldn't that mission on you-know-where be considered our last save-the-world mission?" Artemis asked.
"Oh, if that's the case, you got the worst out of it, Fal," Wally looked directly at me.
"I did," I agreed, and the others that went on the mission with us nodded in agreement. My face had actually swollen so much from Wonder Woman's punch it spread to cover half my face.
Thanks to some magician magic, I was able to conceal it from the public, but it didn't go away for a good month and a half. Who the hell says girls can't throw punches?
"Dude, half her face was swollen like no tomorrow for over a month!" Wally exclaimed, informing our newest members. Well, Tula and Garth had shown up halfway, but they never saw it. Hooray for magic. "If you think about it, how the hell did you not pass out?"
"Adrenaline, probably," I sighed. "I slept for about twenty hours after that mission and woke up to half my face black. My butler damn near had a heart attack."
"I thought some poison consumed your face," Robin coughed, hiding a laugh. I punched his shoulder and he winced. "Owww," he whined.
"Stop making fun of me," I complained. "I don't make fun of your guys' injuries."
"That's because you're always with the worst ones," Wally pointed out. "Except that one time I broke my arm and you just sprained your wrist."
"That's because you're invulnerable," I pointed at Conner and Donna, "durable," I pointed at Kaldur, Garth, Tula, and M'gann, "have force bubbles," Raquel, "magic," Zatanna, "super-speed and accelerated healing," Wally, "ring," Kyle, "and you guys… you guys are just lucky." I waved off Artemis and Robin.
"That means you have pretty rotten luck," Zatanna laughed. "Want me to look up some good luck spells?"
"I think it's because you act before your brain can even process it, sometimes," Raquel commented. "Like, you run on instinct. It's not a bad thing, but… well… your body reacts faster than your brain, even though that works pretty fast too."
"Raquel's right," Atom spoke for the first time. "You're a natural at fighting and you don't even think. That's why you're so good and why you get hurt. You're always aware of your surroundings, are you not?"
"Who isn't?" I replied.
"Even more so," Atom told me. "You hardly get surprised when anyone walks in. It's only when you're busy thinking when that happens, and even then, you end up attacking, don't you?" He looked at me sternly.
I coughed behind my fist. I might've elbowed him once when he appeared behind me while I was calculating a formula once.
"It's one of the first lessons my mom ever taught me," I said. "Always be aware of your surroundings."
"Wise woman, your mother," Atom complimented. "I better get going. I've got some things to take care of."
"Oh, do you have any extra memory drugs?" I asked. "Robin and I kinda used up ours."
"Drop by my office tomorrow," Atom told me before heading to the Zeta-Tubes.
"Recognized: Atom: One-Eight."
"So who wants to watch Alice in Wonderland?" Wally asked, looking at us all. I rolled my eyes and knew he could tell. He tossed a grin my way, "What? It's a suitable way to end the day after you just beat The Mad Hatter."
A/N: Again, I'm a bad person. I don't deserve your lovely reviews, but... I would greatly appreciate them. :3 I've been working on my Teen Wolf fanfiction lately though, and according to Google Docs, I haven't worked on Black Falcon since January 14th. Oops. :| I'll get started on it soon, so please continue to believe in me! *heart*
