(Soooo sorry for not posting anything over Christmass break, so I'm making up for it by posting two chapters today, ok?)

Crowfeather, Raven and Leafpool trekked across a field of grass, the wind brushing the small blades ever so lightly, the sun shining down on them with fever. Leafpool was deep in thought, trying to recall where she was supposed to meet the four cats. 'I haven't had any dreams since they were kidnapped. Oh why did they stop? Had I know just which way they were going it would be so much easier!' She sighed to herself and chose to decide which was prettier, the sky or the ground.

Crowfeather was deep in thought as well, and not for their purpose of travel. 'I will be so glad when I get back to my clan, to my mate and son. If these rumors about me and Leafpool spread to my clan the distrust will continue, and I've worked too hard to earn it back!' He glanced towards said cat, eyes narrowing slightly. He looked her over, from the tip of her nose to her tail, briefly admiring the way the sun bounced off her fur, making it look a fiery orange. 'Like Firestar.' He would be lying if he denied the small feelings he still had for Leafpool. She was the mother of his kits after all. But his clan was first, and that meant denying her and them both. 'I wonder, what it would be like if I didn't deny them. Maybe I would have been kicked out of Windclan and living with them? Or maybe if she had told me sooner she could have sent them to my clan. O, what if we had just run away like we planned.' He stopped that thought there, because he knew what would happen; the clans would be no more. 'Oh Feathertail why couldn't you just live? Why did you have to die?' Crowfeather allowed his self to sulk about his past crush, and then forced his mind into proper action. It would do him no good to think like this. The past was the past, he had to think ahead.

He glanced back at the black tom behind him, blue eyes narrowed dangerously. He didn't trust him one bit, and he had been staring at Leafpool forever. 'I hope he doesn't develop a crush,' he mocked, smirking. 'He's in for a letdown. Leafpool was once a medicine cat. She isn't allowed to have anymore kits.'

'Is she?'

His mind trailed off before he could catch it, sending him into a frenzy of questions. Maybe Leafpool has a mate, despite her past. Maybe she is with kits at the moment. But that's impossible! No cat wants to mate her after her mistake! It's her ultimate punishment!

'Who said that was her punishment?'

A low growl erupted from his throat, causing the other two to stop. "Crowfeather?" Leafpool questioned, green eyes blinking curiously. Crowfeather just glanced at her and snorted.

"It's nothing. Keep walking."

"Actually," Raven spoke, "I think we should take a small break. Maybe eat and rest a little before we travel on."

"What, are you weak?" Crowfeather asked casually. Raven narrowed his yellow and green eyes.

"No, but it's a sure way to keep up our strength and energy. If we find a forest I'm sure we can I can also find us some herbs to chew for our energy." He glanced at Leafpool, tail swaying softly. The she cat looked down in though before giving a short nod.

"Ok, but only a small rest." Raven grinned at her and Crowfeather was sure he saw something devious flicker behind the black tom's eyes.

'Hmm, interesting.'

~ooo~

They came across a forest, choosing to settle under a fallen pine before going out to hunt. The three cats screptto into area heavily populated with prey life, nose sniffing and eyes sharp. Raven froze and flicked his tail, alerting the others. 'Wow, just my luck.' He nodded towards a bush, and bit far from them was a rabbit, big and juicy in all its glory.

"Rabbits aren't supposed to be here," Crowfeather whispered. Raven shrugged and grinned. 'This is perfect.' He thought with excitement, it was just what he needed.

"Wait here," the tall tom whispered and crept towards it.

"He's going to scare it our way?" Leafpool asked. Crowfeather nodded. Of course he was. Even Windclan cats had some trouble catching rabbits, and one as big as that was too heavy for any cat to carry.

He heard a yowl, and both cats tensed, ready for the brown fluff ball to come their way, only it didn't. In fact, it was going away from them. "He let it get away!" Crowfeather hissed angrily.

"No, he didn't," Leafpool mewed and took off running, the grey tom following.

The rabbit was heading outside of the forest. 'If it gets out them it's gone!' Crowfeather though frantically. He suppressed a groan as it breached the woods. Great. Leafpool was still running though, so he had to follow.

"Look!"

Crowfeather looked like she told him too, he eyes slightly wide. Raven was on the rabbit's tail and gaining. A sharp turn here, he lost momentum but quickly gained it back. Another and another. 'For a big rabbit its fast,' he thought absently. He didn't think that even Ashfoot could cat that one. He looked over at Leafpool, watching her eyes widen in awe. He grunted and looked back at Raven. Oh, he was almost there now. Raven was literally nose to tail with the small thing, and he swore he heard Leafpool squeak when Raven finally pounced on it. They tumbled and then they finally stopped; Raven had his mouth to its throats and squeezing. The rabbit flailed then laid still. Raven lifted it and walked towards them, though halfway there he dropped it in exhaustion.

"Um, a little help? That run took a lot out of me."

Leafpool chuckled softly and trotted over to him, her and Crowfeather helping as they all lifted the rabbit and brought it back to their camp.

~ooo~

"That was a complete mouse brained thing to do, Raven." Crowfeather scolded as soon as they set their prey down. Raven gave Crowfeather a glare.

"I didn't see you running after it Windclan cat. I've heard from Thunderclan that Windclan cats are the fastest of them all and you practically live off of these things, so why not chase it?"

"Even though we are fast we do have our problems chasing rabbits around as well. We don't eat just rabbit you know."

"Well, even though he could have used our help he did a nice job Crowfeather. You can't lie about that. If anything he has the speed to be a Windclan cat." Leafpool praised. She sent him a semi serious look. "Though don't do it again. We use teamwork to catch rabbits and birds."

"Right, sorry Leafpool," Raven apologized, bowing his head slightly. Crowfeather felt his eye twitch.

'No respect,' he growled in his mind.

"Leafpool, if you will do the honor." Raven mewed lowly.

"Oh? I can take the first bite?" she asked in surprise. He had caught the rabbit after all, and by himself at that.

"Of course. You are the only she cat in our little group after all, and it's not in my nature to eat before the she cats and kits." Raven replied, tilting his head ever so slightly.

Leafpool gave a satisfied purr. "Why, if only all toms were that courteous. If you insist..." She leaned forward and took a bite, making sure so chew and swallow it before licking her lips. "Mm. It's as juicy as it looks!" Raven leaned in and took a bite before Crowfeather could, making the other tom nearly growl. The two glared at each other, one in annoyance and one with a challenging look. The glares went unnoticed by Leafpool, since she had already leaned in to take another bite.

The trio ate and drank their fill, lounged around for a short time before traveling on again. By nightfall they had found a large bush that could accommodate all three of them. They huddled up and slept in their separate nests, Raven glancing over at Crowfeather before moving his bit closer to the she cat's. With a content sigh he curled up in it, tail lying over his nose. He wanted to chuckle, to purr loudly in victory and could help but feel proud of his self. 'I impressed Leafpool,' his mind yowled dreamily. His mind ran through the lessons Cherry had taught him about grabbing a she cat's attention. First was to impress. Second was to be polite and gentle. 'Two checks.' He was still in progress of his current tasks, one of them including Crowfeather. 'Get rid of any competition. That won't be too hard, seeing that he has another mate, but then again he use to be Leafpool's mate.' A smile crossed his face. 'If he tries anything I have enough dirt on him to drive him off after all.' Satisfied, he let himself drift off.
