Chapter 4
Over the next few days I was forced to recall every detail of what happened, I didn't tell them a lot of what happened. I told them how I escaped and all the torture I'd endured, what my interrogators wanted, I gave press conferences because I had too, I hung out with the soldiers on base, I was in constant contact with Kim and my parents. I took care of the paper work so I wasn't dead in the eyes of the world anymore. I got 6 and a half years worth my salary pension and benefits and bought a brand new mac book air 13.3 inches and almost $ 1,000 on my iTunes account and a back up/external hard drive and bought all the seasons of the TV shows I'd missed, new albums from my favorite artists and bands, got a knew iPhone five and bought a whole lot of good books and a lot of knew jeans, t-shirts, some dressy clothes, and a few more leather jackets. It had been a month and I was finally headed home.
I pulled up in front of Kim's and took my helmet off and grabbed my bags and headed up the stairs and pushed open the doors with my feet because my hands were carrying two of my 3 bags. The 3rd one was on my back. I had just closed the doors when I heard screaming and then two Fraser women tackled me. Oh dear god, I said just lying on the floor with said Fraser women squirming and trying to tickle me. Ya'll better not have broken my new computer it cost a fortune, then I rolled bringing Kim and Katriona under me and really showed them who was the tickle monster master and I told them so. You ladies are worse than the cubs, came Liam's Irish lilt a smile in his voice. We all rolled to our feet and as soon as I was standing Liam enveloped me in his well-developed arms, its good to see you sister he said and you brother I responded.
When I opened my eyes a tall beautiful man with tiger striped hair and yellow eyes stood their staring at me with the same look I see mates look at each other with, like Liam looked at Kim and vice versa like Sean and Andrea and vice versa. I pulled back from Liam and stared at him. Liam followed my gaze and said this is tiger, he just moved here from the Las Vegas shifter town. I felt drawn to him, I felt the need to protect him or die trying, I felt warm and tingly all over, I felt safer then I have in almost a decade I took a hesitant step forward but my mate, he wasn't a patient man and the next thing I know I'm in his arms with his face buried in my neck, my mate he growled. Tiger let her go, Liam growled. No I felt panicked all of a sudden, afraid to be out of the safety Tiger's arms offered. If I could smell my fear I new that they could too it only made Liam growl louder and Tiger to tighten his arms around me. I had to defuse the situation and quickly before these two wildcats shredded each other. I took a deep steadying breath before I told tiger it was ok he loosened his arms enough for me to turn and face Liam and my sister. I looked Tiger in the eyes and said with a smile twitching at my lips this the best I'm gonna get huh, there was a twinkle of amusement in his eyes and a smile forming at the edge of his lips I stuck my tongue out at him and I couldn't help the giggle that escaped my lips as his eyes widened in shock. I turned then to face Liam, its all right Liam tigers my mate. Kim gasped and Liam just looked amused, that so he asked. Soon enough I said. I shuffled forward having to pull tiger with me I quickly kissed Liam's cheek and hugged him tight even though I felt tigers growl, he definitely didn't like it when I did that then moved over to Kim and did the same to both her and Katriona. I then turned back to Tiger is it ok if I move into your room? Of course he said. I looked to Liam and he said of course your family. I smiled. Tiger took the two bags off the floor and tried to take the one off my back but I shook my head and headed up the stairs towards our room. I walked in and set my bag on the bed he started opening places for me to put my things then he unzipped my bag and started to put my clothes away for me, when it came to the bag with my lingerie I quickly stood and brushed his hands out of the way I felt his eyes on me the entire time as I folded and put it all away in the same drawer as his underwear. I folded the bags and put them away. I turned back to face him and the next thing I know I'm in his arms. His face his so close so I reach up on my tiptoes to close the distance between us and I press my lips to his. A huge shock zipped through my body and I knew that he felt it to as he pulled back some and pressed his fingers to his lips. You felt that to I asked anyway. He nodded and then pulled me closer than before and I pressed my lips to his again and as I was kissing him he didn't even move his lips. I pulled back some and looked at him and asked do you like it when I kiss you Tiger. He growled at me and looked at me like I'd lost mind. It drives me crazy he growled then why don't you kiss me back. He looked me dead in the eye and said I don't know how. You're a virgin I asked? No I had a mate and a cub. They threw her in and took her away when we were done. Oh I didn't know, I'm sorry Tiger. What for? I looked at him and said because the loss of a mate and cub is burden I wouldn't wish on anyone. I pulled out of his embrace then I just lay down on his bed and threw my arm over my eyes. Everything was silent for a minute and I could feel his eyes on me, before there was a dip in the bed and then he laid down. I moved my arm then scooted over so that I was snuggled right up against his side. He wrapped his arm around my back pulling me even closer. I nuzzled his neck then promptly fell asleep. I woke up screaming and in a dead sweat my clothes and the blankets were sopping wet with my sweat. Tiger's worried face was above me his hands gripping my shoulders trying to shake me awake. I bolted up and threw my arms around his neck and held on tight. He picked me up and positioned me so that I was straddling his hips and whispered in my ear that he was here and wouldn't let anyone ever hurt me again that he was gonna protect me and I heard it in his voice that he meant what he said. Kim and Liam had come barging in and they too came and wrapped me in their embrace and it was in the embrace of family that I over came a panic attack, the only one I'd ever been able to since I've been back.
