(I'm going to post two chapters back to back for you lovely fans ;) Because it is suppose to snow on Wed-Thurday and sadly I wont be at a CPU to write and edit my stories. So here they are, Chapters 41. Leafpool is a little vengeful thing isn't she? XD)

Jayfeather woke up with a groan. He let his blind eyes scan around his den, trying to figure out what happened. 'Ok, so I remember being with Leafpool, she ordered me to my bed...what happened after that?' Cinderheart poked her head into his den, eyes turning sympathetic when they landed on him. Jayfeather flicked his ear, because he had heard her, he just hasn't smelled her. Not yet anyway. 'Why are my senses so disoriented?'

"How are you feeling Jayfeather?" Cinderheart asked softly. Jayfeather frowned. What did she mean?

"Move," Leafpool hissed, pushing past the tabby she cat. Cinderheart growled at her, but Leafpool paid her no mind. She trotted over to Jayfeather and sat beside him, then placed a paw on his head. He growled at her and shook his head away.

"Go away Leafpool. You're not wanted around."

"You may not want me around, but you need me around. Don't you remember what happened?"

Jayfeather paused, then racked his mind. Try as he might though, he couldn't remember anything.

Leafpool fixed him a strange look. "I thought so. You need to rest. All the stress and stuff that's been going on in the clan took a lot out of you. You fell ill in the den while we were checking your supplies. You had a very bad fever Jayfeather, and I'm surprised it's gone down so quickly. If you eat and drink something and rest properly you will be well by tomorrow."

Cinderheart narrowed her eyes at the ginger she cat and padded over to Jayfeather, placing a paw on his head. "Wow, it has gone down."

"Can you two go away? I'm not a sick kit!" Jayfeather snarled then abruptly stood. He yowled in surprise as the world spun and ended up falling on his side. Groaning, he blinking his eyes slowly, then stained his ears when he heard something strange. It sounded like...like...laughing? Cinderheart and Leafpool were laughing at him, the nerve!

"Maybe the day after tomorrow, just to be safe."

"I agree," said Leafpool answered. Cinderheart left, leaving the two alone. "I'll get you a meal and some water OK?" She mewed, helping him into his nest. He grudgingly nodded and dropped his head on his paws. Just great, he was sick.

~ooo~

Lionblaze was heartbroken. Cinderheart betrayed him, she betrayed him. She had been mated to Mousewhisker this whole time and hadn't said a thing. He didn't see the two acting like they were mates, so of course he didn't notice, but still. And she was having his kits for crying out loud! 'His kits, not mine,' he thought with depression. He whimpered and drug his tail into the warriors den, flopping down in his moss bed. Cinderheart didn't want him, and she didn't care.

Sakura watched Lionblaze trudge into the warriors den with an aura of defeat around him. She and Cherry had been there when Leafpool brought news to Bramblestar, had been invited to listen actually, and boy was it horrible. It was planned after all, drugging Jayfeather, because Cherry helped. Cherry found an herb in the forest that would mess up a cat's senses but make them relaxed and loose-tongued. The plan was simple, slip it into Jayfeather's food and let him eat it, then wait a moment and start milking him of information. At first Leafpool was opposed to the thought of drugging her son, but after a while she conceded, because Jayfeather could've held some clan endangering secrets, and they were right. Leafpool was positively livid when she told the bit about Cinderheart and Mousewhisker, and Sakura was angry when she saw Lionblaze's heartbroken face. No tom deserved such a betrayal.

'It's a good thing Leafpool has such a good plan,' she thought with excitement. Oh she couldn't wait to see their faces when it was executed, Cinderheart and Mousewhisker's. Bramblestar even approved of it, because hey, he had raises Lionblaze so he was still a son to him. Squirrelflight was told about it and eagerly agreed to it, as did Sandstorm. Sakura was super happy because she was the main act! 'And I'm going to make it good.'

"Sakura, Cherryblossom," Whitethunder called, and Sakura scowled. She was still angry with her father.

"Yes?" Cherry asked innocently. "Oh you know what, I have to train some cats today, talk later," she said suddenly, cutting him off just as he opened his mouth. And that was how she easily slipped out of his clutches. Sakura hastily made a beeline for the warriors den to talk to Lionblaze, not stopping when she saw a shadow following her. Of course Raven was following her, him being her guardian and all.

"Lionblaze?" She called out quietly. Said tom growled warningly, not wanting to be disturbed. Raven growled from where he was at the entrance of the den, and behind it dark warning. Sakura rolled her eyes and shooed him off with her tail. "Lionblaze, come on look at me." Piercing green eyes met her owns, and she had to suppress a shiver. She loved when Lionblaze was angry, because his eyes were simply gorgeous. She wondered briefly why she loved the dangerous look and concluded that, hey, she was the kit of two fierce Moonclan warriors, it was inbred.

"You aren't moping over Cinderheart are you?"

"Shut up and go away Sakura," he warned.

She scoffed and plopped herself beside him. "Ya know it is messed up what she did. Its shallow and all that stuff, and Leafpool was livid. Did you see how angry she was?"

Lionblaze groaned. "Go away."

"Alright fine then. I was going to tell you we have a plan to get her back, but if you say so-"

"Wait what?"

Sakura smirked. How predictable. "Yes, Leafpool has a plan, but you can't tell anyone. Plus, if I tell you, you have to do something for me."

Lionblaze narrowed his eyes in suspicion. "And that is?"

"Well, you have a role in it too, and no matter what you have to play it through and make it seem real. If you don't then it won't work. Promise me." Now he was really suspicious. Sakura huffed. "Just promise, on Starclan!"

He glared at her, trying to look at her and see if he could learn her secret himself, but when he found nothing he gave in with a sigh. "I promise on Starclan."

Sakura gave a satisfied grin and told him the plan. After a while he gave a loud shriek. "WHAT?! ARE YOU INSANE?!"

"SSSH!" She hissed loudly. A few cats poked their heads in the den. "Just trust us on this OK? You don't come in until later."

Lionblaze stormed past her. "Leafpool!" He yowled out, taking everyone by shock. The she cat poked her head out of the medicine den.

"Yes? What's wrong?"

"What's wrong? What's wrong?! Why didn't you tell me about this first before adding me into it?!"

Leafpool looked confused, but after a while realization dawn her and quickly she ran over to him. "Lionblaze, I know you are upset about it but let me explain..."

"And how are you going to explain this huh?!"

They had a rather big audience now, and as Leafpool looked around she gulped. Almost the whole clan. Quickly she dragged him out of the clan and into some bushes after calling out to Cinderheart and having her watch Jayfeather. She growled as the she cat refused and was instantly relieved when Mudfur volunteered and walked inside.

As soon as they were hidden behind the leaves Leafpool hissed at him. "Lower your voice! You'll blow our cover!"

"But-"

"If you don't want in that's fine, I'll let Molepelt do it!" She hissed. "Are you happy now?"

"No!"

"Well too bad!"

"But why? Can't you just leave it alone?!"

"Lionblaze, ever since the arrival of these cats and before I've been feeling a bit vengeful OK? And, well, Raven seems to like that side of me so..."

"You're doing this for Raven?!" He squawked in disbelief. Leafpool's fur heated. "And you, mostly you."

"But the outsider? Raven? He's a rogue!"

"Well he's better than a Windclan cat!" She snapped at him, fur bristled. "At least I'm not betraying you and the clan, he's helping us!"

Lionblaze stared in shock. "Since when?" He asked quietly. Leafpool sighed and dipped her head.

"Remember the trip we took to get Whitethunder?" Lionblaze nodded. "Well, he and Crowfeather were, I don't know, competing behind my back. They didn't think I knew though. And he, well, he's very charming." She finished shyly.

Lionblaze smiled. 'She really likes him,' he thought happily. It was good to see his mother finally being happy. 'But, it comes with a price.' "Ok, I'll allow it."

"You will?" She gasped eyes excited. She reminded Lionblaze of a kit.

"Yes, and I will join this little plan of yours, but only if I can be your Guardian."

"What? Lionblaze..."

"No, he has to impress me first, and if you can win Jayfeather over before your time then him as well."

Leafpool thought about it, then sighed and nodded. She doubted that Jayfeather would want to be her Guardian along with Lionblaze, but at least one of them agreed. "Ok."

Lionblaze beamed. "Good! While we are out we might as well hunt!" He narrowed his eyes in a challenging way. "Of course, if you aren't really up for it..."

"Oh you know I am!" She hissed and ran off, Lionblaze following.
