Read my message at the end for a synopsis of my new Dramione story I'll be posting after I finish this one!

The Potter wedding was beautiful, there was no doubt about it. Even Draco was impressed with the details and decorations strung about all around the huge backyard of the burrow. He couldn't quite believe his eyes when he first saw just how amazingly Hermione and the mother Weasley were able to transform the uneven, grassy meadow into an almost perfect setup for a wedding. They were even successful in driving away the garden gnomes and had covered up the holes the gnomes kept stubbornly digging.

About 3 rows of elegant white chairs were placed facing a makeshift altar with a clear view of the newly weds and the lush green trees. A one way transparent-looking and almost nonexistent magical dome roof was suspended over the whole venue to protect the party from any kind of destructive weather as well as from the paparazzi. Fairy lights were magically suspended everywhere as well, which he's pretty sure was Hermione's brilliant idea since she had dragged him through millions of stores just to buy tons of the stuff a couple of days before the wedding.

There was still a couple of minutes before the bride walked through the aisle and the air was filled with polite chatter and merriment. Draco stood a little bit to the side of the venue, not really talking to anyone. He chose not to sit with the wedding guests since a part of him still thought that he wasn't genuinely invited to a Potter - Weasley wedding. He was only here to admire and support Hermione's work and ogle Hermione herself. His eyes wandered for a while before his sight shifted to the front where his gaze met Ronald Weasley's. They had silently agreed on a truce for the day for the sake of the women they love. Of course, that doesn't mean that they were prevented from sending murderous looks towards one another every few minutes whenever they would catch each other's eyes. But overall, they were both determined to establish a peaceful relationship for the day's festivities.

Upon the first cord of the wedding march, Draco immediately tore his eyes away from the Weasel and onto the end of the aisle where the wedding entourage was now assembled. He waited with bated breath for Hermione's turn to walk down the aisle, his heart hammering within his chest as she started to walk. Her eyes scanned the venue with sparkling eyes, her lips lifted up in a genuine smile. For a moment, she was able to find him through the sea of people, and had rewarded him with a wink. Draco smiled despite himself, admiring how her golden gown was hugging her every curve. Draco's heart skipped a beat upon the sight of the dragon necklace they had given her displayed proudly on her neck. She truly looked like a mirage floating through the desert, tempting Draco with every step and every sway of her hips.

Once Hermione's walk through the aisle was completed and she had taken her place beside the altar as Ginny's maid of honor, Draco turned on his heel and started to leave the venue. He wasn't at all interested in seeing the Potters exchange their vows and what not. He just came for Hermione and that was it. He's more than happy to just wait for her someplace else where no one can bother him with small talk and curious glances. Not to mention that he had a lot of things to do before meeting up with Hermione once again later.

His steps began to quicken upon the reminder that he still had a ton of shit to do and in no time was already at the apparition point. With one last look at the burrow and a pat on his pocket, Draco apparated silently.

The ceremony was beautiful, Ginny and Harry had been able to recite their vows without a hitch albeit a bit teary eyed and with a couple of pauses and kisses in between. Mrs. Weasley on the other hand, wasn't holding anything back and was full on sobbing upon the first sight of Ginny walking down the aisle.

The venue was now completely transformed into the perfect place for a wedding reception, complete with a dance floor and a couple of bars ready to serve the guests with drinks. Food and fire whiskey flowed freely, ensuring that all the guests were in a celebratory mood all throughout the night and maybe even until the morning.

Hermione's eyes slowly took in every detail of her surroundings, storing them into her memory as something to go back to at times of sadness. She wanted to be able to remember the kind of happiness that was palpable in the air with every beat of the music and every loud hoot of the guests whenever they'd request another kiss from the newlyweds.

She was inwardly rewarding herself with a small pat on the back when she heard an unsure cough from her side coming from a nervous looking Ron Weasley.

"You…uh…did well with the..uh everything! You did everything well, Hermione!" he spluttered.

Hermione smiled, "Anything for Harry and Ginny. You know how much I love you guys. All of you."

Ron cleared his throat and pulled at the tight collar of his dress robes, his composure nowhere to be found.

"We love you, Hermione. You know that right? I mean, I know I haven't been the best at showing how much I love and appreciate you, but…uh…. just never forget that, ok? How much I - I mean we love you."

"Of course I would never forget." she replied.

"I know I've been an arse about everything and I've been a very selfish prick and I guess what I'm saying is that… I'm thankful for your friendship and your love and I know all these years your happiness always came second to that of Harry and mine and it's about time that you follow your heart. I mean… he does make you happy, right? Malfoy, I mean?"

Hermione bit her lower lip and nodded while trying to hold in the tears that were threatening to fall.

"Well, he better make you goddamn happy! Does he even know how lucky he is?!" Ron all but yelled.

"Tell him that I've made the mistake of not seeing your worth a couple hundred times and that he should make up for the fact that I've made you cry a lot in the past."

Hermione couldn't control her emotions anymore as a few wayward tears started to roll down her cheeks which prompted Ron to start babbling to try and remedy her tears.

"Hermione? Why are you crying? Please stop! Did I say the wrong thing again?"

Hermione let out a cathartic laugh through her tears and lunged at Ron to give him a huge hug. It took Ron a few minutes to recover from his shock and return her hug.

"I'm just so happy and relieved. I waited for so long to hear those words from you. You don't know how much they mean to me, Ron. Thank you."

Ron awkwardly shifted his weight while patting Hermione's back, "I meant every word." he whispered.

"But this doesn't mean that I'm going to be trading bff charms with Malfoy or whatever. I'd just be supportive of you and whatever or whoever it is that makes you happy, and if that's Malfoy, well then so be it."

Hermione loosened her hug around Ron's waist and laughed, "Of course I know that. I'm just happy that I have everyone I love surrounding me again."

"I'm serious though, Hermione. If he, for one second, commits a mistake or makes you cry, I'll be the first one to land a punch on his stupid arse ferret face." Ron vowed.

Hermione only replied with a smile and went back in for another hug.

Draco Malfoy was nervous.

His hands were clammy, his heart was pounding, and his son was running around him in circles like a deranged puppy.

He had given up in trying to contain Scorpius about an hour ago when it became pretty clear that there was no stopping him from bursting with energy thanks to the several packs of chocolate frogs Blaise had given him when Draco was too busy to notice.

Draco smoothed his emerald tie for what felt like the hundredth time and caught Scorpius with a quick snatch of his arm.

"Scorpius, you really need to mind your dress robes! Do you want mummy to see you all sweaty and dirty when she comes here?" he reprimanded his son while staring directly at what looked like an exact smaller copy of him dressed in the same clothes as what he was wearing. Blaise had suggested the idea that they should wear the exact same dress robes for the day just for the kick of it, and at that time Draco agreed to it pretty quickly since it seemed like something Hermione would find absolutely adorable, but now standing in the meadow near the lake with everything in place, Draco thought they just looked stupid and can be mistaken as part of some sort of opening act for a stupid show or something.

Damn Zabini and his stupid ideas! Damn this stupid tie! Damn this stupid pounding heart! Damn it all! Draco all but yelled inside his head.

"Daddy, you're the one who have so much sweat it's icky!" Scorpius giggled.

Damn it all! Draco screamed at himself once again before hurriedly taking his handkerchief and wiping it across his sweaty brow.

Hermione felt the gentle whoosh of the magical port key swirl around her for a second right before her high heeled feet touched the soft grass. With a slight wobble, Hermione straightened to her full height and took in the unfamiliar looking surroundings before her eyes fixed on a tall man wearing a suit, patiently looking at her with a mischievous smirk.

"What in the bloody world took you so long, Hermione? These mosquitoes are having a fiesta all over my gorgeous body!" Blaise Zabini remarked.

Hermione rolled her eyes and made her way to him. " I had important matters to attend to, Zabini. It wasn't like I was gallivanting with pixies. What are you doing here anyway? Where's Draco and Scorpius?"

Zabini only waved his hand noncommittally. "Excuses excuses. I've been standing in this bloody meadow for over an hour and that's how you say hello to me? Really Granger? I thought you had better manners than that. You could've at least brought me cake from the Potter wedding."

Hermione laughed at his attempt of making her feel guilty and went right in his arms for a hug. "You look absolutely dashing in your dress robes, Zabini. Did you come from an event? What's the special occasion?"

Blaise only chuckled as he took hold of Hermione's right hand and placed it on his arm, as he started walking with her farther towards the meadow. "You look amazing in that gown, Hermione. Draco would die of a heart attack once he sees you." he warned.

"Why did you think I wore it in the first place?" Hermione smirked, running her other hand over the sleek fit of the emerald velvet gown clinging to her curves, her right leg piercing the high slit with every step she took.

Blaise smirked and continued leading her through the moon lit meadow, only stopping for a little while when Hermione whispered a handy charm to help her walk through the grass comfortably in her heels. Hermione was about to ask where they were heading when he heard Draco's unmistakable voice pierce the darkness.

"Lumos."

Hermione's eyes opened widely in shock upon the sudden appearance of hundreds of fairy lights all around them, illuminating the remaining path towards the small pier at the edge of the lake. The same lake where Scorpius had first called her his mummy.

Her eyes swept through the flower filled meadow and finally settled her gaze on the pier where she could see Draco and Scorpius wearing identical traditional suits holding hands and smiling at them.

"Well, go on then, Healer Mione. They've been waiting for a while. Send me an owl when you can." Blaise whispered with a small wave before apparating away.

Hermione waved goodbye and slowly turned back to the Malfoy men who were anxiously waiting on her to approach.

"Ar-Aren't you going to come here, love?" Draco called out nervously while Scorpius was bouncing on his feet, giggling and waving her over to the picnic setup the Malfoy men were standing in front of.

Hermione gave out a little squeal of delight, took off both of her heels, and ran the rest of the way to reach Draco and Scorpius. She halted to a stop in front of them before throwing herself into Draco's arms, bringing Scorpius along with her for a hug.

"You both look so very handsome in your robes! And look we match!" Hermione laughed and pointed to their ties and then to her dress.

"You look very pretty, mummy! Doesn't she look very pretty, daddy?" Scorpius nudged a nervous Draco.

"Ah! yes! So pretty. Very pretty." he mumbled while rubbing his handkerchief all over his sweaty face.

Sensing Draco's nervousness, Hermione took his hand and pulled him towards the picnic set up by their feet. "Are you alright, Draco. Why don't we sit down for a little while and eat whatever it is that you guys brought."

"No! Wait! We have something to say before we have dinner! We have to say it now!" Draco bursted.

"Can't it wait till we finish dinner, love?"

"It has to be now, Hermione." Draco all but wheezed, followed by Scorpius' tinkling voice laced with laughter. "Now mummy now!"

"Ok! Ok!" Hermione agreed with a smile. "What is it that you have to tell me?"

To Hermione's amusement and curiosity, she watched Draco take a couple of deep breaths before taking hold of her left hand, prompting Scorpius to do the same with her right hand.

With both of her hands firmly grasped by the Malfoy men, she watched with wide eyes as the two of them sank to their knees in front of her in what seemed to be a perfectly synchronised move.

"I…What are you doing?" Hermione stuttered.

Both Draco and Scorpius only smiled back at her, their eyes shining with unwavering love.

"Hermione, I know that we didn't exactly have the most perfect start to our relationship and that us being together seem to have some sort of magnet for trouble. But I want you to know that I have never really known the true meaning of happiness until you wandered into our lives. You are the best mother I could ever dream of for my son and the only partner I can picture myself with through the years. With you by my side, I know I can get through anything. I love you, Granger. Always and forever." Draco then nudged Scorpius with his elbow, signaling him to carry on.

"I love you, mummy. I love you when you are Healer Mione, and I love you even more when you are my mummy. You are the BESTEST mummy in the whole whole world! And everyone is jealous of me! I want to bake more cookies and draw more drawings and dance around some more with you until forever!" Scorpius giggled, "I love you, mummy. Always and forever."

With trembling hands and loving eyes, both Draco and Scorpius took out small boxes of their own. Draco's containing the amazing ring nestled inside while Scorpius' box presented her with a toy ring adorned with a ridiculously large sugar candy jewel.

With trembling hands and tears streaming down her face, Hermione nodded and whispered, "Yes! Yes! Nothing would make me happier in the world than having you two amazing men by my side always and forever. I want to spend my mornings, afternoons, and evenings with both of you as a happy family. And I am ready to face anyone's doubts and fears, including my own."

Draco closed his eyes for a heartbeat, a smile tugging at his lips as he started thanking every god and goddess he knew. Scorpius, on the other hand was already laughing and chanting, "Yes! Yes! Yes!" again and again, filling the night air with love and laughter.

Draco finally stood up and lunged for Hermione. He took her in his arms and spun her around for good measure while Scorpius was jumping excitedly beside them, the fairy lights flashing and creating a glow around the happy family.

"You have no idea just how happy you made me. I'm ready to spend my whole life with you, Hermione Granger. I want more fights, more babies, and more dinner dates with you and only you. I love you." Draco all but worshipped her with his words, prompting Hermione's tears to flow freely.

"I can't wait to spend my whole life with you two!" Hermione laughed through her tears while cuddling Scorpius to her chest and enjoying Draco's strong arms surrounding her.

"And I can't wait to get started in making those babies you want." she whispered to Draco which earned her a smile and a spine tingling kiss that made her tangle one of her hands in Draco's white blonde hair, making the perfect backdrop to showcase her new ring as it glittered magnificently with the fairy lights.
