CH.7-Human

They have been in the forest of death for sometime now, they already had both scrolls and were now heading to the tower, but stopped to rest. But Gaara sibling broke out into a fight after a couple of minutes, Sakura could tell Gaara was getting frustrated with his siblings constant arguing. Temari hit Kankuro over the head with her fan "I am not fat".

Kankuro gripped his injured head " what the hell women?" Sakura choked back a laugh .

Kankuro and Temari were about to go into another round of insults when Gaara anger filled voice put a stop to it "shut-up both of you" Kankuro and Temari instantly quieted down. Gaara was still glaring at his siblings only to calmed when Sakura licked his cheek. But this only lasted for second when they felt three people approaching them, they then became tense.

Sakura could only watch in sadness as Gaara killed the last rain nin. They was no stopping Gaara when he was like this. He only thought of blood and hate, the demon in his head encouraged it more. ' Please stop Gaara' she thought as she pawed at his shoulder.

Gaara had just finished with the last rain ninja when he felt Sakura little claws pull on his shirt. Gaara looked to her. Her big green eyes were filled with so much emotion, at that all the hate Gaara felt disappear by just looking into those big eyes. He rubbed her behind her ear "I am sorry Sakura chan" he whispered to her, apologetic for his bloodlust. He knew Sakura hated when he became like this, he always tried to control his need to kill for her sake but sometimes he slipped.

Sakura could see Gaara was trying to make up for his lose of control, so she just licked his hand to show she was not angry with him. ' It's not your fault Gaara' she thought I she nuzzled his cheek.

Sakura was bored out of her mind, she looked as another round came to a end and then the proctor call the winner. She knocked from her boredom when the next fighters were called. She looked to the boy who was jumping up and down in joy at being able to fight finely 'that guy's eyebrows are alive'. She felt the wind shift around them and looked to Gaara face, he looked excited for a fight. Sakura felt uneasy at this, Gaara was still recovering from his bloodlust from early on ' oh no' she worriedly thought.

"Blood give me blood" the demon chuckled evilly.

Gaara gripped his head "shut up" he forced the demon to silence. Sakura feeling his pain nuzzled his face, this calmed Gaara enough to the point he could teleport in front of Lee.

The pink cat could still see he was still unstable ' this is not good'. And it was not, in all the years that Sakura knew Gaara she had never seen anyone hurt him, emotionally yes but not body wise. So much so she that even she had gone into a shock at not believing it. The kid was fast as hell, when Gaara was first struck by him She would of intervene but Gaara had told her not to yet. Gaara was struck again Sakura made to jump in but Gaara hand stopped her.

"No" he gasped out in pain, Sakura was not pleased by this, as he could see by the narrowing by her eyes. Gaara watched as the boy then drop weights to the floor before disappear all together, Gaara looked around confused. Sakura then hissed looking behind them but it was too late the red head felt a sharp pain before he could react.

Sakura was knocked off Gaara when he was hit the second time. She looked up to see Gaara being hit repeatedly and he was then slammed into the ground. Rage filled her blood seeing Gaara like this, she stood on her four legs a pink glow surrounded her.

Temari eyes winded at what she was seeing. She could not believe someone managed to hit Gaara but not only that, but what was going on with that cat "what the hell?" she gasped out in shock ' this is not possible and what she could see from everyone else's faces they were all thinking the same thing.

Gaara felt his entire body burn with pain he never felt before. "Teach this boy a lesson" his demon roared in rage shaking the cage he was sealed in.

Gaara moaned in pain at his demon anger of trying to get out of his cage. Gaara himself felt hate for the boy as well ' how dare he touch me' he thought, but before Gaara knew what was happening Sakura flashed over him knocking Lee back. Gaara slowly sat up seeing Sakura standing in front of him protectively growling at the leaf ninja with a pink glow around her.

Sakura ran at the leaf shinobi biting into his arm then clawed at his arm before jumping off of him. Lee could feel his arm going numb from where she bit and scratched him also he felt a little sleepy 'was it because of the pink stuff around her' he thought tiredly. Sakura made attack again but Lee hit first with out thinking, that was the biggest mistake he could of done.

Gaara watched in shock as the ninja fist hit Sakura tiny body. Gaara mind went blank as Sakura skidded across the floor and then stop. Lee stood there weak but in shock at what he did, but then the sorrowful shout of Gaara filled the room. Lee saw sand coming at him, he tired to run but then he felt crushing of his arm and leg. Gaara stood up his eyes wild for blood and revenge. He advance on the now past out nin to finish the job. He raised his hand, but Guy stopped him placing himself in front of his student. Gaara growled at the male, he raised his hand again but stopped when a pitiful meow called to him. Gaara turned around fast and was kneeing down next to Sakura before anyone could blink the two were gone.

Gaara cradle Sakura to his chest running his fingers through her hair, she turned back into her human self after they had arrived back into his hotel room. The demon holder blamed himself for Sakura injures, if only he was faster, this would not have happened. He pulled Sakura closer and kissed her head just as they was a knock on the door "what?" he asked not really caring who it was.

"Hey I thought I let you know that you won" his brother voice sounded through the door.

Gaara didn't care much but was curious to see who he was fighting "who is my opponent?".

They was a little pause but then his brother spoke again "Sasuke" he then left knowing his brother wanted him gone.

Gaara glared at the wall 'of course it will be him' he looked down when he felt movement from Sakura . He saw her green eyes open slowly then look up at him "Sakura?" he placed his hand on her cheek.

"Gaara?" she said looking up into jade orbs "what happened?" she could feel a splinting headache.

Gaara glared once again his free hand that was not on her cheek fisted the bed sheets "the leaf ninja hit you" Gaara then smirked down at her "but he won't be a problem now".

Sakura frowned "you didn't kill him did you?" Sakura asked.

Gaara growled "he hurt you. Why dose it matter if he is alive or not?" he spat out.

Sakura sat up before Gaara could stop her, her back was to him now"because Gaara you can't go around killing everyone hits you or me".

Gaara stood from the bed "why not they are nothing but worthless humans" he hissed out.

Sakura also stood now looking at him "Gaara!" she shouted, she then walked to him " are you forgetting your human too" she said softly placing her hand on his cheek..

Gaara didn't take this well he pushed Sakura hand away "I am nothing like you" it took a miler second for the sand nin to realize what he said "Sakura I am so-..." he was cut off from a now tearful Sakura.

"No Gaara just don't" she turned around and walked into the bathroom closing the door behind her, her soft sobs filled the room soon after. Gaara hung his head in shame of what he had done.
