~RPOV~
8 months later
I stood at the door of the large hallway at court with my father arm looped in mine as I waited to walk down the aisle and greet Dimitri. No longer my boyfriend, but my husband.
"Rose?" Abe asked squeezing my hand lightly, bringing me back to where I was. "Are you sure this is what you want?"
I laughed lightly. Same old Abe. "Yes, I'm just trying to focus on not falling." He smiled and kissed my cheek lightly. Lissa walked over to greet us.
She was a true beauty in the blue and pink bridesmaid dress that she'd helped Olena make. Sonya, Karolina, and Viktoria were turned to grin at me and I felt my heart speed up slightly. I knew Olena and Yeva were just beyond the door and I felt my stomach twist.
There was no way I was going to change my mind about this though. Dimitri was the only person I ever wanted to be with. He'd given me everything. Including the miracle that I thought we'd never have. Alex was growing steadily and still so sweet.
It felt weird not having him next to me and knowing that it was going to be a good seven days before Dimitri and I got back from our honeymoon. Which he hadn't even hinted at where we might be going. Pack for warm weather, he'd said and Lissa had packed every bikini I had and even bought a few skimpy ones for the trip. Along with a ton of condoms and birth control pills.
Don't get me wrong I would love another kid, just not quite this soon. The night he'd proposed to me we'd been unprotected and I'd actually had a pregnancy scare. I loved Alex and knew that I wanted to give him a sibling or two but preferably when he was out of diapers.
The doors opened wide and the music started to play signaling it was time for me to walk down the aisle. I felt my heart speed up and Abe squeezed my hand for just a moment. I was about to be a wife and with that thought, I walked down the aisle to meet my husband.
I kissed my father's cheek as he handed me over to Dimitri. I couldn't breathe. I could feel my hands shaking and hoped and prayed I didn't zone out. but as I looked over to Dimitri and saw the look of awe and happiness and love in his eyes, nothing else mattered.
I couldn't hear what the preacher said and only noticed as Dimitri said "I do." his eyes never straying from mine.
"I do." I said and took Dimitri's hand. I didn't hear him say kiss. All I knew was the moment Dimitri's lips were on mine and I threw my arms around his neck bouquet and all. He kept it polite for our friends and family but all I wanted was to feel his lips on mine.
After everything and saying our goodbye's Lissa dragged me up the stairs and I was out of the black and red wedding dress in seconds with her help. Olena pulled out a pale blue sundress and a pair of white flip flops.
"We're going to the beach?" I asked and she nodded.
"That's all I can tell you." She said and handed it to me. Viktoria snorted and rolled her eyes.
"Without killing us." Sonya said and gently twirled my hair out of its braid. I groaned and laid back. I heard a soft crying as Lissa came through holding little Alex.
"Here she is." she said handing him to me and I pulled him to me in a hug. I looked down into his beautiful brown eyes and kissed his forehead.
"C'mon, before you change your mind." Lissa said and I handed Alex to Olena, who immediately started murmuring to him in Russian.
I walked down the stairs and saw Dimitri waiting at the door. His signature duster on and a pair of keys. I walked over to him and took his hand.
"Ready?" he asked and I smiled as took his hand.
"As I'll ever be." I grinned back and threw my arms around his neck to kiss him again as a scattered applause came.
I grabbed his hand and pulled him to the car, ready to get the hell out of here.
"Good luck!"
"Love you!"
"Drive safe!"
All the same thing from several different voices and then the one that stood out. "Try not to get knocked up again!"
I turned to see Christian grinning and Abe and Adrian laughing at the response I gave. Which was my middle finger and I blew him a kiss.
I rolled up the window and looked to Dimitri. I couldn't help the smile that came to my face as I realized, this is my husband. Mine and only mine, and I'm his.
I leaned over and kiss his neck lightly and put my hand on top of his that was resting on his thigh. I giggled lightly as he put his hand around my waist, dropping my hand to his knee.
"What is it?" he asked as I laughed again.
"I just can't believe that you convinced me to do this before I was twenty." I leaned over and kissed his neck as we stopped at a red light.
He leaned over and nipped my bottom lip and smiled. "I can be very convincing when I want to be."
I leaned forward and started kissing his neck again. "So can I." I leaned my hand down and gently cupped the bulge in the front of his jeans.
He moaned and started to kiss me again when someone honked a horn behind us. Dimitri pulled back startled and put his foot on the gas and I couldn't but laugh at the light blush that coated his cheeks.
"I love you, comrade." I said with a giggle.
He kissed my cheek and smiled. "I love you, Roza."
I leaned against his arm and closed my eyes, exhausted from the day I'd had. Goodnight, Alex. Was my last thought before I crashed and we drove off to wherever we were going.
~2 HOURS LATER~
"Roza. Roza, we're here." I opened my eyes to see a small house on the beach. It was a pretty home. Simple, but beautiful.
I pulled the bag out of the trunk and walked to the door. I was immediately lifted off the ground and pulled into Dimitri's arms. "What the hell?" I asked and gripped my bag so I wouldn't drop it on the beach sand.
"It's a tradition for a man to carry his bride over the threshold." He grinned and kissed my nose before adding "So get over it." I laughed lightly and put the bag on the ground as we stepped inside the house.
Dimitri dropped his bag to the ground and was about to say something but I threw my arms around his neck and kissed him with all the love and passion I had in my heart. My kiss was returned not a moment later, his arms wrapping around my waist.
I pulled away from him for just a moment to bend down to look in my bag. He looked confused as I grinned at him, that is until he saw the condom.
"Well Mr. Belikov, shall we?" I asked looking to the door that lead to the bedroom. He walked closer, closing the distance between us.
"I do believe we shall. Mrs. Belikova." I laughed lightly, slightly shaking at the sound but loving it that much more.
"You and your crazy ass Russian names." I said and would've said something else but his lips crushed mine and I was all too happy to return his kiss.
