Hey y'all! So….it's been a while :( I won't lie, I'm going to be SUPER busy this year but please know that my stories are always there somewhere in between all the crazy in my head lol. Hopefully I could get at least two chapters up before I have to go back to school mid- Jan. I really hope you guys like this chapter, please review and let me know what you think! Sorry for all the grammar mistakes, again!
ALSO, PLEASE READ THE IMPORTANT NOTE AT THE END OF THIS CHAPTER!
"I wonder if you know, how to live in Tokyo. If you see me then you mean it then you know you have to go. Fast and Furious…"
The high pitched tones reverberated throughout the abandoned mall. While in the car with Twink, I noticed that the entrance crowded with teenagers. Mostly young women who're looking for the attention they so desperately craved.
Twink pulled up to his designated spot and I turned to him, "Thanks for the ride, Twink."
"Hey, of course, homegirl." He replied with a smile but it quickly faded as he hesitated with what he was gonna say next.
I gave him a face, "What?"
Twink shifted his gaze awkwardly before sighing, "When are you guys just gonna make up?"
I was the one to shift uncomfortably as I pondered my answer. "Look-"
Twink cut me off, "Nah, just listen. We both know Han has a fresh way of lookin' at things. He's a weird dude." I snorted before he continued. "Sometimes he just has to put his foot in his mouth and he don't think 'bout how it could come off." I looked away, eyeing a car to my right.
"But you also know that he is almost always right. He may not think about what he says but you know he cares." At that comment, I looked at Twink, knowing he was right. "He ain't a robot, ya know. Ya'll need to stop mopin' around. Not only is it bad for business but have you seen Takashi lately?"
I did. Takashi has been giving Han a hard time lately. Asking him to make irresponsible deals with the wrong people and Han was NOT quiet about it. Every hesitation and question made Takashi suspicious of Han and that was the last thing any of us wanted.
Twink continued, "You need to speak to Han, girl. Before all this negativity eats all our asses." He sighed and got out of the car, leaving me to my own thoughts.
I knew Twink was right. Why does Han have to be right?! God, it's frustrating. BUT I knew that I'd rather have him be his usual annoying, handsome self than a silent, brooding wall. I knew that he was just looking after me.
I convinced myself to find Han before exiting the car. I looked around for that infuriating man until I saw him a few feet away. I couldn't help but sigh before walking towards him and his horde of vying women. As I worked on closing the distance between us, I heard my name being called and an arm pull mine.
"Hey, thank god you're here! Ayami's been talking off my ear and I couldn't seem to get away." Neela complained as she pulled me to the side.
"Neels, I am really happy to be an escape but I just have to talk to Han for a sec-"
"You mean the Han you have been avoiding and is totally making out with his new 'friends'?" she cut off while looking at where he was standing. I turned to look and there he was again. Sucking off a girl's face. My face fell in disappointment and caught one of his side-girl's attention as she gestured to me to Han. I quickly turned away as he broke his make out session to turn his head towards us.
Neela looked at me sympathetically. "What?" I asked defensively. She gave me another look but said, "Nothing, I guess...I just know that you guys are close," I started to protest as she continued, "and that seeing him hang around other girls isn't really progressive for your relationship."
"Okay, there is no relationship between us. He's one of my best friends and yes it does bother me that he hangs around some nasty girls but I'm not his keeper! I can't exactly tell him what to do. He does what he wants and do I complain? No, I don't! I mean yes, he may be right. And yes, he knows how to strangely work and adapt to this crazy world we all live in. It doesn't mean that he can get away with anything! And if he thinks I'm going to apologize first, he has another thing coming! So no! There is no relationship between Han and I and I don't wanna talk about it ever again, alright?!" my voice raising on par with the music.
I only realized how pathetic I sounded when Neela started to pull down the grin on her face. Seeing her stifle laughs made me chuckle myself and eventually it became full blown laughter, tummies out and our heads back. We only started to calm down once people started giving us weird looks.
"God, I sound so stupid, don't I?" I laughed.
Neela shook her head and giggled, "No, you sound like someone who just wants her best friend back."
I looked at her with a slight smile on my face because she was right. "How do you always seem to know what to say?" I asked her while lightly shoving her.
Neela and I have gotten close the past week, considering that she is the center of Han and I's argument. She doesn't know that, of course. All she really knows is that Han and I weren't speaking. Our close friendship is also the reason why Takashi has been so uptight. Well, more than usual.
"What can I say? I was the gem that was missing from your life." She said with a head-tilted smile. I scoffed and shoved her again. She laughed and grabbed my hand to get some drinks from a nearby table.
We stood there chatting when I saw Twink closing his phone and striding quickly towards his car. I frowned and shouted, "Hey, Twink! Leaving already?"
He turned his head, still walking, "Gotta pick up a friend! Be back in 15! Save me a drink?!"
I reacted by mock laughing and giving a thumbs down. He laughed and got into his car. I shook my head, "That kid is always playing games with his age."
"I wonder what friend?" Neela asked out loud. I looked at her and wondered the same too.
With my thoughts so consumed by Han and my mission, I didn't realize that my salvation would be getting here in 15.
GUESS WHO'S HERE! :D I think you all know where this is going! I'm really excited that the story is finally progressing into the plot of Tokyo Drift. To those who are still following this story, let me know what you think.
ALSO HUGE ANNOUNCEMENT!
I'm going to upload some stories that I have written up! I have a folder of incomplete and complete work that I would finally like to share. Most are one-shots surrounding celebrities such as Tom Hiddleston, Benedict Cumberbatch, (anyone from MCU tbh), Norman Reedus, etc.
Some might be AU, real life, or even immersed in the plot of the shows. It's all mostly going to that celebrity/character paired with an OC of mine, so read at your own pleasure. Will there be sexy times? Rated M? Yes, some will. Not too sure how explicit but I'll make sure to put in an A/N for any triggers and what not.
Once again, tell me how you feel about this new development. I'm feeling mad inspired and just want to make sure there is some response to my work. If my one-shots do well, I can think about developing them further!
Thank you guys, and see you next time! PM or RVW with any suggestions, questions, or comments!
