Chapter 19: Tomorrow

Sasuke walked out, maybe Ino was right perhaps Hinata has moved on. It was logical she was a young woman. She was perfect, he had her and he lost her.

He walked down the road he wasn't in the mood to go back to his mansion but his only other option was his other home. But first he needed to pick up his good friend Miss Sake and Sir Whisky.

This felt uncomfortable there were very few things that ever made the man feel this way. But his beloved wife was acting like a crazed woman.

But anyone would feel uncomfortable if you've been sitting in the lobby of a hotel for the past 6 hours.

He really is debating if he should rent a room before someone says something. They have been sitting here waiting for Hinata to come home from the wedding.

Karin had been intending on going to that wedding, but he had managed to intervene. Convincing her to just give Hinata more space was not an option the compromise was that they wait for her and try, try keyword to talk to her. If again keyword number 2 if Hinata wanted to. When he had come up with this compromise he was intending on it being tomorrow, its a wedding after all. But no it had to be done now, and that is how they came to be in the lobby of the hotel where Hinata lives.

Just as Itachi was about to lose all hope and go get them a room; Hinata walks in accompanied by a guy in a pony tail...

"Who is that?" Karin questioned shocked. Itachi held her down.

"What are you doing?" he asked "Hinata is a grown single woman, she has every right to date new people... though I never thought her to be into ponytail kinda guys." he mumbles the last part.

His wife looked at him like he was from a different planet "Sasuke is your little brother he loves her." she exclaimed "Hinata can't move on its been a while she just has to--

"What Karin? You and Sasuke played with her feelings I told you both many times this. Hinata is allowed to move on, even if you're trying to tell me that she's over it why would she be with my little brother?" he lectured her "Sasuke is a mess right now. He needs help Karin." his eyes soften.

He knew she cared and that is why she was acting like a creeper stalker, but she was the love of his life but they need to get Sasuke back on his feet.

"I know that he is not in a good place but if he and Hinata get back together maybe things will go back to how they were."

"You mean a lie. Give her more time I know you miss your friends but just give them some more time this can't be easy." he tells her.

Karin releases herself from itachi and heads out. "I have to find Sasuke."

He followed her; she was determined and now they can get his little brother real help he needs. Sasuke needs this to get a better tomorrow.

The ride home was nice Shikamaru was perfect, why did they end things? The question came back to Hinatas mind.

"I really appreciate you staying with me tonight." she said as they got into the elevator. "But I don't want to impose on you Shikamaru you've done a lot for me tonight."

The laid back man gave her a smirk "Hinata I told you Im always going to be here for you."

His face got close to hers it was like a gravitational pull.

Their lips met and now they found themselves on her couch in deep makeout. She straddled him while his hands held her hips.

It was like their earlier years together, they broke the kiss and looked at one another. "How could I have let you go?" she said running her hands through his hair and brought their lips closer again she felt hot, she had to get out of the dress. With a sloppy motion she managed to get it off leaving her in a bra and thong.

She then moved to remove the males shirt, she was successful in her attempt. They looked at one another, Shikamaru reached out to her caressing her cheek she was different than he remembered.

Her body was no longer that of a teenaged girl, he had a woman infront of him with a gorgeous figure.

She made the next move and kissed him again. His hands rested again on her hips, how he remembered their old times. But he couldn't let this go further than this he wanted her and she wanted him. But he was not going to take her now, her feelings are scrambled.

If they will lay in bed once more it has to be when her emotions are in order, he won't risk what little friendship they still have.

So he ended the kiss and held her bringing her down to rest on his chest. Tomorrow will be another day and they can still keep things on a civil level by keeping things innocent.

He will be heading back to London soon, he won't play with her like that. Not after what she has been through this past year.

Karin entered the building, Sasuke was too out of it to close the door. It was a routine that he was having he would drink at work and if he was forced to go home he would lock himself in his study and continue his drinking.

Her husband was right he was a mess, "Sasuke." she calls out to him, she was worried about him. He noticed her but didn't say anything "Sasuke your not ok."

He glared at her "No shit..." he mocked her.

The ruby eyed woman ignored that comment. She knew this was serious Sasuke needed to get help, not only to have a chance to fix things with Hinata but to get on with his life. "Sasuke come on, lets go home." Itachi was waiting for them down in the car. "We have to get you back on your feet. Let us help you, please."

He stared at her "What's the point?"

She frowned "You know what the point is winning Hinata back getting your life back."

"She wont even talk to me, besides shes with ponytail"

Karin sighed so he knew "Sasuke you need to be the man that she deserves, tell me why would she want to listen to a drunk? Lets get you back on your feet, you'll never have a real chance if you don't get back up."

She was right, but numbing his feelings is easier. He wanted her back yes but she won't have him. What can he do?

"Please Sasuke just come home with us, we love you. We want you to be ok and happy let us help you."

He saw the look in her face Karin really did care, she lost her friends but she is still trying she has hope. He didn't anymore everyday there was a little less that kept him going. Everything was out of his hands Karin is throwing a life line, she and his older brother would miss him if he was gone.

What is one last try, he's already down how much more can he fall. Its been almost a year since their break up and his heart is still hurting he slowly crumbled and now he is in a low point. Tomorrow is going to be a new day, one more try. He stood up and stumbled into his sister in law.

Karin caugh him and walked him down. Tomorrow she is getting him the help that he needs. Everyone has been expecting him to just be ok, to let time fix the pain but it hasn't things have gotten worst. She will do what she can to make things right again.

A/N: So I had to re write this I lost the original chapter and it had been better but I pushed off rewriting because I was mad that I didn't save it and lost my inspiration and kept pushing it off. I want to finish what I started tho I know where I want to go its just filling in the parts to get there but im trying.
