It was early the next morning when I was woken up again by my alarm clock blaring loudly. I reached over and hit the snooze button to stop the sound then reset the alarm for tomorrow. I let out a yawn and stretched my arms and rubbed my eyes. I looked over to my left and as I could have guess, Itt was laying there naked with the blankets pulled over her. Like yesterday, the alarm clock doesn't even seem to have phased her at all. I just let out a short sigh and looked over at her. She turned a little bit and mumbled something in her sleep. She rolled around again and ended up rolling right over to me. She placed her hand on my chest and then reached over and grabbed me. She pulled me into her and hugged me tight like I was some teddy bear. She nuzzled her head into my chest and giggled in her sleep and it was probably the most adorable thing I've ever seen. She moaned again in her sleep then she started to wake up.
She let out an adorable yawn and once again started to bury her head in my chest. She kinda twisted and moaned like she was trying to fight off the urge to wake up. She pulled me in closer and I felt her bare breasts push up against my chest. She picked her head up and then rested it back down on my chest as she slowly started to open up her eyes. She opened them a little then let out another yawn. She brought her hand over to rub both her eyes then blinked a few times. Her scarlet red eyes scanned the room then they looked over to me. She stared at me with her deep, red eyes and then smiled at me with a big smile. I just looked back at her with a bit of an awkward look as she kept holding onto me.
"Good morning master..."she said happily.
"Uh... Good morning Itt..." I said.
"I didn't wake you did I?" She asked.
"Uh... No, I've been up for a minute or so before you." I said making awkward conversation.
"Do we still have work today?" She asked.
"Uh... Yeah... We do." I replied.
"Okay..." She said as she sat up and stretched her arms and let out another yawn. "I'll get breakfast started... What would you like for breakfast master?"
"Uh... I don't know... Why don't you make whatever you want, all your food is delicious, so I'll probably eat whatever you make." I said.
"Thank you master..." She said. "I'll go make something... It'll be done in twenty or so minutes." She said walking off to go to the kitchen... And she was still naked. I had forgotten to tell her to put clothes on... But I don't really feel like worrying about that right now. I let out another yawn as I too got up and climbed out of bed. I walked over to my drawer and grabbed a change of clothes. I put on boxers, torn jeans, and a shirt on. I grabbed my wallet and keys and knife and put them in my pockets. I walked out of my room only to hear the sound of a knocking door as I walked into the kitchen to see Itt pouring pancake mix into a pan. "Oh... I'll get it master." She said.
"No I will..." I said walking past her to the door. I don't really know who could be at my door this early, but it doesn't matter. I walked over to the door and opened it up to see a tall man standing there looking a bit menacing. I instantly knew the man as my landlord Jonathan grey. He had his arms crossed and he didn't seem too happy. "Oh... Uh, hey john... What's up?" I asked.
"You're late on your rent..." He said angrily.
"Oh... Damnit... I forgot." I said hitting my head with my palm. "Sorry... You know what?" I said reaching into my wallet and grabbing some money and counting it. "Here is this month's rent... And... Next month's rent in advanced." I said handing him the money which he grabbed with a surprised look on his face.
"Oh... Wow." He said. "Uh... Thanks man." He said taking the money and putting it in his pocket. "I'll be sure to write you down as clear for next month... Have a good morning. "He said waving and walking off.
"You too..." I said closing the door and resting up against it. That man scares me.
"Master...who was it?" Itt asked.
"My landlord come to collect rent." I said. "Don't worry, it's nothing important." I said as there was yet another knock on my door. "What the... Who is it now?" I whispered to myself. I opened up the door and looked out to see that this time it was twilight standing there. "Oh... Uh... Hey twilight." I said surprised she was there.
"Who was that man that was just at your door?" She asked.
"My landlord..." I said.
"Oh..."
"So what are you doing here so early?" I asked.
"Oh... Applejack needs your help." She said. "I was staying over at her place last night and some stuff happened, and she needs your help."
"How come you didn't call?" I asked.
"I left my phone at home... And I wasn't able to reach you by applejacks phone." She said. I reached into my pocket and flipped open my phone to see that it was dead.
"Well that might explain why... Ugh, I never remember to charge this thing." I said putting my phone back in my pocket. "So is she in trouble... Is everybody safe?"
"Well... It's not anything really bad... But she's going to need you at the farm before the end of the day."
"Well what's wrong?" I asked.
"One of her... Uh... Tree's got uh..." She started saying before she stopped and started stuttering.
"What about one of her trees?" I asked.
"Well I was practicing magic out in her orchard when something in my spell must have gone wrong and I hit one of her apple trees." Said twilight. "And well... I may have possessed the tree with a demon."
"That's uh... Well... That's certainly something." I said. "What spell were you casting that caused such a tremendous fuck up?"
"I was trying to bring her farming tools to life for a short while so that she doesn't have to work so hard because she pulled a muscle in her leg the other day moving some hay bales."
"Well... That's not good." I said. "Uh... Are you sure I shouldn't come over right away?" I asked.
"She said it was fine... To be honest applejack didn't really ask me to come get you, she's too proud and is probably trying to stop it herself."
"Well is it dangerous?" I asked.
"Not really... It can't move since it's rooted in the ground." She said. "All it does is throw apples at things... It doesn't even really seem that angry... It's just kind of an asshole." She said.
"Well... If there's no rush, then uh... Do you want to come in...? Itt's making breakfast." I said,
"I can smell it from here and it smells nice." Said twilight. "You wouldn't mind?"
"It's fine." I said letting her in. Twilight smiled and walked in and I closed the door. I looked over at twilight but her eyes were fixed on something. When I looked over to see what I saw she was staring at Itt... Who was still...naked.
"Uh... Zack... Why is Itt naked?" She asked.
"God damnit..." I said face palming again. "Itt..."
"Yes master?" She said looking over as she made the table for three... I didn't even have to tell her that twilight was going to join us. "I've prepared food for you and miss twilight... Is something the matter?"
"Itt... Your clothes..." I said.
"Yes master... What about my clothes?"
"Where are they?" I asked. It seemed a bit confused but then looked down at herself and it was then that she realized that she wasn't wearing anything.
"Oh... I'm sorry master!" She said lifting her hand and snapping her fingers as a pair of clothes magically appeared on her body. Bandages covering her breasts. And a short skirt also made of bandages.
"Not much different from when she was naked..." Said twilight.
"Please... Eat, I hope you enjoy the food." She said sitting down. Me and twilight joined her and we sat down. She prepared chocolate chip pancakes with maple syrup, bacon, and orange juice. We decided to dig right in and start eating. The pancakes were absolutely amazing. They were light and fluffy and they tasted amazing. The bacon was nice and crispy too.
"Uh... I don't eat bacon." Said twilight who had eaten pretty much half her pancakes.
"Oh... I'm sorry. I forgot that you were a pony... I'm sorry... Please forgive me." Said Itt seeming really heartbroken, like she had just killed somebody.
"No... Don't worry it's fine... I don't mind." Said twilight. We finished our breakfast and I ate twilight's bacon. Once our food was done Itt grabbed the dirty plates and put them in the sink to wash later. We got up and I figured that it was probably a good time to go help out applejack.
"I think we should go now." I said getting up and opening the door.
"Yeah... Applejacks probably had enough of that tree already." Said twilight as the three of us headed out the door and made our way towards applejacks. It was a nice spring morning and the birds were chirping, or they would be, if there were birds in this part of town. We made our way down the streets which weren't very busy this time of day. Soon enough we were walking down the path towards applejacks farm. We started making our way through until there was a sound coming far from the fields.
"Dang nab it... Ya sonofa..." Said applejacks voice from out in the orchard.
"I think she's this way..." I said pointing to the sound coming from the orchard. We followed the sound of applejacks voice until we came to a less dance spot where we saw applejack taking cover behind a flipped over picnic table. In front of her was a large tree with a opening in the bark for a mouth and glowing red eyes. It's branches bent and flexed like arms and it was throwing apples at the table applejack was hiding behind.
"It's about time twilight..." Said applejack.
"It's okay... I got Zack." She said.
"I feel like we really should have rushed here." I said.
"Damnit twi... This is your mess and I told you to fix it, so you gone out and got somepony else ta fix it for ya..." Said applejack.
"Would you stop complaining." She said.
"Should I change into a sword now master?" Itt asked.
"Probably..." I said. Itt clasped her hands together and started to glow and change shape until she changed back into her sword form. I grabbed her and strapped her to my back. I reached back and grabbed her hilt and got that same feeling from all those other times. I unsheathed her and started to walk forward. The large angry tree noticed me and glared at me. It reached up towards its head and plucked an apple from one of the branches and threw it at me. It cut through the apple in once clean slice as the two halves flew by either side of me and covered me in apple juice. "Okay... My only question, is how do I fight a tree?" I asked.
"Well, you can cut it down... Or burn it." Said twilight.
"Y'all ain't burning down my tree... You do that and the whole orchard goes up in flames... And boy will I be mad if that happens." Said applejack.
"It's okay... My flames only burn the enemy." Itt said in my mind as red runes scattered along the blade and then the blade itself ignited with brilliant flames that looked like they could cut through the toughest steel.
"Ah just told y'all... No fire!" Said applejack.
"Itt's flames only burn the enemy..." I said. "It'll be fine." I said as the tree threw another apple. I cut this apple as well but as I cut it in half it quickly burst into flames and went out in a second as the two burnt halves of the apple crumbled apart into ashes and blew away in the wind behind me. I started rushing towards the tree and when I got close it whipped one of its branches at me. I cut the branch down before it hit me and the limb fell to the ground and burnt into ash in just a few seconds. I adjust my position and thrust Itt deep into the tree's trunk right bellow where the face is. The tree's face turned from an angry glare to a surprised and worry. Soon flames started to shoot up from the wound in the tree and from its mouth and eyes, and it wasn't long before the whole tree, and the only were engulfed in flames. The flames burned for a few seconds before rapidly dissipating and the tree crumbled into a heaping pile of hot ashes.
"Well... That takes care of that..." Said twilight. I tossed Itt over to the ground and she transformed back into her normal self and landed on her feet. The sheath on my back glowed and vanished and took the place of her clothing. She walked over to me and smiled.
"Good job master..." She said.
"You too." I said walking back over to applejack. I grabbed the table she was hiding behind and flipped it back upright.
"You owe me a new tree..." Said applejack.
"You can dock it from my pay..." I said jokingly. She just rolled her eyes and smiled.
"Well... At least that's over with now... Thanks a bunch Zack, and Itt..." Said applejack.
"See... I knew he would be able to help." Said twilight. "Pi mean the town is practically buzzing about him."
"So words gotten around?" Asked Itt.
"Yes, and quickly too." Said twilight.
"Yay... Master you're becoming famous." Said Itt. I just sighed and rolled my eyes.
"Great..." I said. "So... Is there anything else you need applejack or can we get to work now?"
"Well... Given the circumstances... I'd say work is done with..." She said. "The plans were to plow the fields... But twilight and her fancy magic done brought all mah farmin tools t' life. They plowed 'em by themselves... So... I don't have anything else that needs doin..."
"Oh, twilight told me that you had pulled something yesterday." I said.
"Mah back leg... Been killing me since then..." She said flexing her right back leg.
"Oh, if your hurt I can help..." Said Itt walking over.
"Thanks a bunch, but it'll be fine... Just gotta ice it a bit." Said applejack.
"Please I insist... Here" Said Itt kneeling down by applejack and clasping her hands together. Her hands began to glow a faint green like last night and she wrapped them around applejacks leg and started massaging it up and down.
"What are y'all doin?" Asked applejack surprised. Itt moved her hands up and down applejacks leg and once she was done she pulled her hands back and they stopped glowing.
"It should be better now." She said.
"Well I'll be darned." Said applejack skipping a bit and kicking her back legs out with great force. "I feel a couple years younger... That's some mighty powerful magic you got there..."
"I used it to help master with his wounds last night." She said gesturing to me.
"Yeah... I uh... Went on a bit of a job spree." I said rubbing the back of my head nervously.
"I saw you running around a bit yesterday when I was out with rarity... I don't know if you saw me though." Said twilight. "Each time you passed by us you had more and more blood on you... Hopefully not yours." She said.
"Mostly... Not hopefully." I said.
"So... Mostly not yours... Are you alright?"
"Yeah... I've never felt better actually." I said. "Her healing magic is amazing... Look, she even healed that nasty claw mark from the other day... Look." I said pulling up my shirt and showing them the scars.
"Wow... That's an impressive scar." Said twilight.
"It used to be a gaping wound only two days ago." I said.
"I remember you showin me that..." Said applejack. "All stitched up and such... Looked nasty... Now, well... It's a nasty lookin scar, but it looks much better than before." She said as I pulled my shirt back down.
"So you don't need any more of my help today?" I asked.
"No... Your free to go... But you destroyed mah tree... So I ant payin you this week... It'll cost me to have that replaced." She said.
"That's fine I guess..." I said. "I did make quite a lot of money on jobs yesterday... I think I'll survive."
"If you keep this up you ain't gonna need this job anymore." Said applejack playfully.
"Yeah... But what would you do without me?" I asked jokingly.
"Hire another farm hoof and move on?" She suggested smiling. I just laughed and soon enough me and Itt made our way off the farm with twilight. She followed the two of us along the way to go back home.
"So what jobs are we going to do today master?" Asked Itt.
"Well...oh, so you still have that pile of bills?" I asked looking over to Itt.
"I have them right here..." She said reaching into the bandages around her breasts and pulling out a folded up pile of 6 or 7 bills. I just looked at them for a second before actually grabbing them.
"Uh... Thanks Itt..." I said. "Have you ever considered wearing pants with pockets... Or carrying around a purse... Or something?"
"Itt doesn't need such things." Said Itt.
"U huh... Okay then." I said placing the bills in my pocket.
"So Zack... How's life like living with Itt?" Asked twilight next to me. "Must be exciting."
"It is... It's also complicated... But pleasantly different." I said. "Itt's always kind and helping even if I don't ask her to do anything."
"And Itt, how is Zack?" asked twilight.
"Oh master is the best..." She said clasping her hands together and smiling brightly. "He gave me a comfortable bed, and lets me eat with him, and he's kind, and funny, and understanding, and compassionate, and generous, and he doesn't ask me to do many things, and he almost never gets angry with me." She said.
"U huh..." Said twilight in a joking and condescending manner. "And what about when he does get mad at you?" She asked.
"Master only scolds me when I forget to put on clothes..." She said.
"And, how often do you forget to put on clothes?" Asked twilight.
"Well... I like to sleep without clothes... And when I wake up sometimes forget that I'm not wearing them." She said.
"Maybe you should try wearing more clothes so you can tell the difference." I said. "What do you even wear anyway?" I asked.
"Oh... These are wrappings made of spider silk... They're very comfortable and they cling well to my body and keep me warm." She said. "All the fairies wear spider silk under garments."
"Wait... Are this just your underwear?" I asked surprisingly.
"Well... Yes... Why?" She asked.
"Can't you put on more clothes than that?" I said.
"I can... But master hasn't given me any yet..." She said.
"Oh dear..." Said twilight.
"That explains a lot." I said. "Well... We're going to have to go shopping soon and get you some clothes."
"Thank you master..." Said Itt.
"And speaking... Why do you keep calling Zack...'master'?" Asked twilight.
"Because Zack is my master, and I am his sword and slave." She said. "It has been like this since the first dragon empire..."
"The first dragon empire..." Said twilight. "That's almost 1million years ago!" Said twilight.
"God, Itt... How old are you?" I asked looking over at her. "Well... I've had several masters... But I'm part of the Alvain generation... I'm only 26,000 years old, approximately." She said. "Since we are weapons we don't age... But we can still be killed, since we don't age... That would really only mean that I'm 23... That's when I was turned into a fairy blade... When I was 23."
"Uh... Wow... So, are there any other fairy blades that you know of?" Asked twilight.
"Most times there aren't many in use at one time since some of them are sleeping until they find a new master... But in total... There are... Currently... 12 fairy weapons that have been awoken..." She said. "And I know that one of them is my dearest friend Evisurn..." She said.
"Do you know where they are?" I asked.
"I do not... I only know when they are awake." She said.
"How many fairy weapons are there in total?" Asked twilight.
"The amount of fairy weapons made was exactly 1000...but as the hands of time swung by most were slain by a great evil many years ago... There are only 183 left in total.
"That's amazing..." I said.
"I'd like to think that fairies have a grand heritage." She said. "But I'm sorry, I've so much... Miss twilight I believe that this is your house?" Said Itt gesturing to twilight's house which was right next to us. I didn't even realize we had arrived.
"It is... I'd better get going in." She said smiling. "You two have fun with your quests and such... And be safe, don't do anything stupid." Said twilight walking up to her house and waving.
"I can't make that promise..." I said jokingly. Twilight opened her door and rolled her eyes with a smile. She walked in and closed the door behind her leaving just me and Itt. I looked over at Itt and we started making our way through the streets. I checked the bills in my pocket and a good portion of them were town stated bills, from the mayor herself. The closest one was the park. So me and Itt headed to the park, when we got there it was empty which is very strange for a place like a park. Since nobody was there I had Itt change into a sword and unsheathed her so that nobody would notice. The bill said that there was an infestation of wasps in the park... Which I thought was a waste of time... Until I could hear a large buzzing sound next to me.
With Itt in my hand I looked over to see a giant wasp about the size of my head floating there buzzing its wings, then it was joined by three more wasps. I pointed my sword at them and got into a fighting stance. Once of the. Buzzed right at me but I cleaved it in half and got enough reach to cut the head off one of the other ones leaving only two. I pointed my sword at the remaining two who charged me at once. I cleaved a line through the air and cut them both down. The pieces of wasp fell to the ground and twitched slightly before going stiff. I kept hold of Itt and started making my way through the park since that there must be a nest somewhere.
"Master..." Said Itt in my mind. "Be careful of their stingers, giant wasps have a poison that causes searing pain and hallucinations, and in greater quantity... Death." She said. "Don't let yourself get stung."
"Alright... I'll be careful." I said looking around for any signs of a nest. I kept walking around but for all my looking I couldn't find a single damn nest. I walked close to the river running through ponyville and to the bridge. I walked over to the bridge and there was a violent buzzing sound that came from the bridge. Suddenly several wasps flew out from under the bridge and floated around me. I held Itt up close and got ready to fight. One of them charged at me and I cut it in half. For all their ferocity these wasps aren't very smart. One by one they would charge at me and I would just cleave them in half. It was especially easy since I was able to track the ones that I couldn't see just by the sound of their buzzing. Luckily there was only one left... Hopefully.
"Itt, is this the last one?" I asked her.
"Yes... They must just be tracker wasps searching for a place to make a nest... Make sure to kill them all so they can't lead the queen here... If the queen wasp were to make a nest here then it could be the doom of all of ponyville." Said Itt.
"Good thing that I got here when I did...huh." I said.
"Yes... It is master." She said. I focused my attention back on the last remaining wasp who just buzzed around the air but didn't approach me. It just floated there looking at me and moving up and down. I thought about just attacking it, but I don't want to chance getting stung. So I stayed there following the wasp when suddenly I felt a stinging pain in the back of my leg which made me cry out in pain. I quickly looked behind me and saw that a wasp had crawled across the ground to sting me... Fucking tricky bastards. It had stung the back of my leg and out of rage I stabbed my sword through it. That's when I heard the buzzing behind me grow rapidly louder. I wasn't able to turn around in time and the other wasp had stung me in the back causing me to cry out in pain again. I reached back and grabbed the wasp which clung to my back. I grabbed it and ripped it off my back and threw it to the ground and stabbed my sword through it.
"Son of a BITCH!" I shouted getting back up on my feet. Without any warning Itt started to glow and she soon changed back into her human form.
"Master NO..." She said running over to me and grabbing my arm. "You've been stung..."
"It's okay.. I..." I said but I stopped when my whole body soon started to burn and sting. Waves of searing pain washed over my body which caused me to drop to the ground and writhe in pain.
"OH GOD... AHHH..." I said clawing at my own face. I soon started to see hundreds... No... Thousands of wasps crawling all over my skin but they were smaller now. I could feel them crawling over me and stinging me causing me great pain. I writhed on the ground and screamed in pain. I kept clawing at my skin to get them off but they wouldn't go away.
"Master no... Stop... Whatever you're seeing isn't real..." Said Itt. I couldn't help but freak out, both from the visions and the searing pain. Itt held me down and with one hand reached into her bra again and pulled out a little red bottle, but other than that I don't know what she did. "You have to drink this..." She said grabbing my lower jaw and holding my mouth open. She then force fed me the red liquid as I squirmed and writhed in pain. The red liquid tasted foul and burnt my mouth. I coughed up a bit of it but I had swallowed a good portion of it. I let out more shouts of pain and had started begging for the pain to stop it felt like my whole body was on fire... But it wasn't soon long before the hallucinations I was having dissipated... But the pain persisted.
"AHHH... OH GOD, WHY... MAKE IT STOP!" I shouted writhing in pain and agony. I kept writhing and yelling and soon enough the pain started to slowly fade away, my yells turned from screams of pain to just moans of discomfort, then it had finally all gone away and I began calming down. My heart was beating a thousand miles per minute in my chest, and my whole body was either numb or sore. Itt was holding onto me with a horrified look of worry in her face. I just looked up at her and she looked back at me. "I-Itt... Y-you saved me... T-thank you." I said. "What did you do?"
"I gave you the cobra blood from a few days ago... Remember?" She asked. I just smiled and nodded my head.
"I remember... Thank you... I owe you my life." I said.
"I was so scared..." She said. "I gave you the blood... But you wouldn't stop screaming and I thought that it wasn't enough and you were going to die... I'm so glad." She said. "I think we should go home and rest now..." She said.
"No... It's fine... I can keep going." I said as the numbness started leaving my body.
"Master... Please don't push yourself." She said helping me sit back up.
"God damn that really hurt..." I said.
"I know that you are fine... The poison doesn't actually do any damage, just causes severe pain... But still, it's a lot to go through." She said. "Are you sure you're feeling better now?" She asked.
"Yeah... I'm feeling much better... The pain and numbness is gone now... Though my back still hurts a bit." I said.
"Oh... That's because the wasp's stinger is still stuck in your back." She said.
"Oh god... Is it really?" I asked.
"Mmmm... And you writhing on the ground pushed it in deeper... It's really in there..." She said. "But I can get it out for you."
"Alright... Do it... But quickly, like a Band-Aid..." I said.
"Alright master..." She said placing her hand on my back. "One...two...THREE!" She shouted as she pulled the large stinger from my back which didn't hurt as much as I thought it would. I let out a brief yelp of pain and my back started to loosen up again and the pain faded...
"Whew... Good thing that's over with." I said letting out a deep sigh. "C'mon... I wanna get the hell out of this park." I said standing up. I started making my way out of the park and Itt followed me close behind. I had her change back into her sword form and I strapped her to my back as we made our way along. It wasn't much longer until we left the park and rejoined the crowded town streets. I walked through the crowded streets and pulled out the bills from my pocket. I put the finished bill in a different pocket and checked the next one which was also town issued. So that's what me and Itt did for the rest of the day. I was feeling much better and was able to get a good amount of jobs done. I finished all of the town issued bills and some other ones before it started to get later into the evening. I made a good amount of money today just from the town issued bills which paid a good amount of money.
Once it had gotten later in the evening, around seven I decided that it would be a good opportunity to stop now. I think perhaps I'll take Itt out to dinner like I had planned last night, it'll be a nice change from the usual and I'm sure Itt will appreciate it. So I sat erred waking around but once we were at the edge of south ponyville I snuck into any alleyway and had her change back into her normal human form. We snuck back out of the alleyway and started making our way into northern ponyville. Itt knew the layout of the town and knew that we weren't heading to the apartment, so she started to get a bit suspicious.
"Master? Where are we going?" She asked.
"To a restaurant..." I said "I figured it would be nice and that you wouldn't have to make dinner tonight, you can relax for a change."
"Oh... But master I don't mind making you dinner..."
"I know... But still... I wanted to do something nice for you." I said.
"Well... If it's what you wish then so be it." She said smiling a bit.
"Just remember that once we're there you have to call me Zack... Not master, people will get the wrong impression."
"Yes master... I mean Zack." She said. I just smiled and light quietly as we started making our way through the town. I lead her all the way to a fancy restaurant called "il famoso". Itt was somewhat awe stricken with the place, and she stared at it while I walked her to the door and opened it up for her. She walked in and I walked in after her. I caught up with her and we approached the host who was a rather slim and tall man in a tuxedo. He was writing down some stuff in his log book when we walked up.
"Uhm... Hello." I said nervously. He didn't seem to notice me a t first and kept writing in his book. "Uhm... We would like a table for two please." He kept writing in his log book but then stopped and picked his head up. He looked down at us with cold steely eyes that could cut through somebody's soul.
"Sir... You do understand that this is a very expensive high end restaurant with a strict dress code..." He said.
"And...?" I asked.
"Your date is hardly wearing any clothes... And you're filthy and covered in blood." He said without even taking much to the fact that I was indeed, once again... Covered in blood. I think I'm just going to wear red shirts from now on. "I don't know what hole you crawled out of, or who you killed to be here... But please leave... If you come back with a better change of clothes then I shall see to seating you." He said. That's a problem because I don't own a fancy tux or anything.
"Hey... Can you cut me a break man." I said. "I've had a long day, and I'm trying to treat my friend to something nice."
"I can assure you that most others have had longer days than you." He said.
"Alright... You wanna play this game?" I said getting a bit angry. "I woke up this morning and killed a possessed tree, then I went to the park where I was poisoned by giant wasps... Don't even get me started with that. Then I had to fight of a pack of timber wolves... Giant spiders... A man eating centipede, slimes, a cockatrice, and all before seven thirty..." I said then checking my watch. "You don't believe me... I'm wearing the blood to prove it... You wanna see scars... I'll show you scars." I said. The look on the hosts face was priceless.
"M-my apologies... You must be the adventurer that's been taking all of the notices around the town... I apologize." He said. "I'm sure that you've had a long day, and it will gladly seat you and your date." He said leaving the podium and giving a respectful bow. "Please follow me." He said walking to the door to the dining hall. We followed him with smiles on our faces and he brought us into the dining hall. Once in there we got a good look of the place and it was pretty nice. A fancy bar in the back, crystal chandelier, a band playing parlor music and nice carpets lining the floor. We followed the host and he lead us over to an empty table with only two chairs on either side. He placed down two menus and pulled the chairs out. Me and Itt both sat down and scooted the chairs in. "A wait or will be around shortly to take your orders..." He said as he then walked off.
"Are you okay master?" Asked Itt looking over to me.
"Remember... You have to call me Zack." I said.
"I'm sorry, I can't help it, and I've never had a master who asked me to call them by their name before." She said.
"It's alright... And yes I'm okay... I just got a little angry back there... I've had a bit of a long day."
"We don't have to eat here... I could have just made us dinner." Said Itt.
"Yes but I want to treat you to something nice..." I said. "And I thought you might like this."
"Thank you ma- Zack..." She said blushing slightly. Seeing her blush like that made me happy and I smiled. "So... What do you do at one of these places?"
"You don't know what to do at a restaurant?" I asked.
"My previous masters never took me to a restaurant before... I'm new to this."
"Don't worry it's easy." I said. "Just look through the menu that he gave us for something you wanna eat. Once the waiter comes to take our order just tell him what you want and he'll bring the order to the cook who then makes the food, we just wait a little after that and he'll bring us our food. Then we eat and pay the bill before leaving." I said.
"Uhm master... I mean, Zack." Said Itt. "I'm sorry for changing the subject... But there are a lot of people looking at us right now." Said Itt picking up her menu and slightly hiding her face behind it. I looked back and around the room and she was right, there were a lot of people staring at us. Fancy important ponies and people having big dinners. Some of them made glances every now and then, others were outright staring, and the terrifying thing was that I couldn't tell who they were staring at, me or Itt. I just turned around and tried to ignore them, but. Ow that I knew people were staring I could help shake that chill you get down your spine when you know that somebody is staring at you.
"Don't worry Itt... Just ignore them and look through the menu... They'll get bored of staring eventually." I said. "You can tell that I didn't think this whole dinner plan through." I said laughing a bit.
"Well I think that it's very nice of you and I'm grateful." Said Itt. "Oh... I think I'll have the sirloin... Or the chicken Parmesan."
"Well I've never been here before... But I can tell by looking at the other tables that this places gives you a lot of food." I said. "So just order one thing."
"Okay... Hmm..." She said scanning the pages of the menu. I did the same thing until I settled on something. "Hey... Can I pick one of the drinks from this menu too?" She asked.
"Sure... Pick whichever one you want." I said. "Or I could have a bottle of wine sent to the table." I said.
"I think wine sounds nice... Let's get a nice red wine..." She said.
"Sure thing..." I said smiling. It wasn't much longer until the waiter came over with a smile on his face. He was a young man in a tux with blonde hair and green eyes.
"Hello... Are you the adventurer that everybody's been talking about?"
"Apparently so." I said smiling.
"I'd like to thank you..." He said. "You took down a bunch of thugs in my neighborhood yesterday and me and my wife have never had a better night's sleep."
"Well I'm glad to hear that..." I said.
"Thank you sir... Now, what will you be having tonight?" He asked putting his pen to a pad of order paper.
"I'll have the lobster with a side of mashed potatoes and coleslaw." I said.
"Alright... And you ma'am." He said looking over at Itt.
"Oh... I'll have... The swordfish." She said.
"Would you like a soup or salad with that?" He asked.
"Oh... Uhm... I didn't know I had to choose one of those..." She said picking the menu back up. "I'll uh... Have... A salad." She said.
"Just a regular garden salad?"
"Uh... Sure." She said.
"Alright... And what will you two be having to drink tonight?" Asked the waiter.
"What kinds of red wine do you have?" I asked.
"We have a range of mesquite... To Baroque wines."
"I think a Baroque wine would be good." I said. "Nothing too strong, and sweet."
"Then may I suggest the red tail... It's one of our more fine wines." He said.
"Sure... Can we get a bottle sent to the table?" I asked.
"Of course sir..." He said. "I'll have that to you shortly, and I'll get the chef on your order right away... Thank you." He said bowing a bit and then walking away after taking our menus.
"Wow... I didn't know that ordering food would require so much deciding and choices." Said Itt.
"You did fine." I said. "I'm glad you're starting to settle in a bit."
"Thank you..." She said. "So... What do we do while we wait?"
"Talk I suppose... Get to know each other better." I said. "That's usually what restraints are for. Friends to get together, have food, talk and have a good time."
"Well... What do we talk about?" Asked Itt.
"Well... Let's start simple." I said. "How have you been today?"
"I've been with you all day today." She said. I just laughed a little.
"Okay... Maybe less simple." I said. "So... Uh... Are you having any fun? You know... With everything that's been going on?"
"Yes... It's been very fun." Said Itt. "I'm glad that I chose you as my new master. Your very nice and kind and considerate... And I'm very thankful... Have... Have you been having fun?" She asked.
"Well..." I said letting out a sigh. "It's definitely been interesting." I said. "To be honest I wasn't too excited to begin with, it all just happened so fast that I didn't really know how to react... But I've been getting to know you better... And I'm glad that you're here." I said. "I used to be pretty lonely, I had friends... But you're always with me and it makes me feel like I'm not alone anymore." I said watching her smile. "I mean, the apartment that I'm renting right now isn't the greatest... In fact it's a pretty crappy apartment... It's a bit small and snug, but living in a place by yourself made even that place seem so hollow and empty... But now that you're living with me it feel kinda crowded... And I like that."
"That's very nice to hear you say." She's said. I was gonna say something but the waiter came back with a bottle of red wine in a bucket of ice. He smiled and laced two wine glasses on the table and grabbed the bottle and a cork screw.
"Here is the wine you've ordered." He said smiling as he popped the cork off the wine bottle and poured wine into the two glasses, but just a little. "Taste it and let me know what you think." He said. I grabbed the glass and drank the small amount of the wine that was in there. I kept it in my mouth a little to get a good taste and I really liked it. It was sweet but still had the taste of alcohol in it so it had a bit of a kick to it. "It is a little strong... But it's very sweet and very refreshing."
"Mmmm... I like it." I said smiling. "How about you...?" I asked looking over to Itt. She took a sip of the wine and swished it around in her mouth for a second before swallowing it. "Mmmm..." She said with a smile. "It's sweet... I like it." She said.
"Well it's decided then." I said smiling.
"Very good sir." Said the waiter pouring a full amount of wine in both glasses and placing the open bottle back in the ice bucket which he put up on the table. "If there's anything else you need please let me know... Your food will be out soon." He said as he slightly bowed and then left. Me and Itt took another sip of our wine and she smiled.
"This wine is very good." She said. "My other masters never let me have wine, and when I did have a nice master who let me have some it was never this sweet and amazing." She said.
"So how much has the world changed in the last couple thousand years since you've been asleep?" I asked.
"It's changed a lot..." She said.
"You seem to be adjusting well." I said.

Even through the trees and plants too... Anything that nature has created as well as the eyes of other humans." She said.
"So you've been keeping in touch with the world looking for a new master." I said. "That sounds boring."
"When you live forever time seems to not matter anymore, and spending as much time as you can looking for the perfect master can make everything better. Time passes by nearly instantly when we're weapons... But with a master one year to a fairy will seem like a year to everyone else." She said. "Yes... It does very much." She said smiling at me.
"So then just focus on now... All that other stuff is in the past." I said.
"Okay... I will." She said smiling as the waiter soon returned with a large cart which I presumed was our food. He stopped at our table and took off the lid to the platter and on it were two plates. One with my meal of lobster with mashed potatoes and coleslaw. The other one was Itt's swordfish surrounded by a garden salad. He smiled and picked up both plates. He gave each of us our meals and them put the lid back on the platter.
"Enjoy the food, if there is anything you need don't hesitate to ask." He said.
"Thank you..." Me and Itt replied as the waiter then carted the platter off back to the kitchen I grabbed my silverware and started digging in. I used the lobster wench to crack open the shell of the lobster. And pulled out all the meat inside and dipped it in the cup of butter. I took a bite and it was like heaven. I could see that Itt was enjoying her food as well from the look on her face.
"How's the swordfish?" I asked Itt.
"Mmmm... It's so good." She said with her mouth somewhat full which made me laugh a little.
"I'm glad you like it." I said taking another sip of wine. So me and Itt enjoyed our food and drank wine and had a good time getting to know each other better. She told me all about the fairies and what their lives are like when they aren't being enslaved or turned into weapons, although there aren't any fairies left that aren't weapons... So that's rather unfortunate. But she doesn't feel too bad about it these days. So after that we had a few more drinks and ate our food and she started asking me about my life and what it was like growing up. I didn't really sugar coat it and told her the truth... My life was pretty much nothing but absolute shit. I never had friends, never got along with anybody, never lived a fulfilling life, did poorly in school, I was a delinquent.
We kept eating our food until we were done completely. We had a few more drinks and the bottle of wine we ordered had been drained considerably. It was a bit more than half empty now and I was feeling it just a little, I felt a little more giddy than usual, but the wine wasn't very strong...but Itt on the other hand... She wasn't really herself, and she had less to drink than I did. Her face was a bit flushed red and she was drunk now. She doesn't seem able to handle her alcohol well, but at least she does a good job of handling herself while she's drunk.
"Hey... You know what would be fun?" She said.
"What?" I asked humoring her.
"We... You... You should become a hero... That would be great... Then you would have a better life and be friends with everybody and have a great life and live in a big house and stuff and have lots of money and have fun every day." She said.
"And how am I supposed to do that?" I asked.
"It's easy... Just kill a few dragons or something bigger..." She said. "I wonder what's bigger than a dragon?"
"I don't know..." I said.
"Oh... I know." She said. "The forest titans of Thoeme forest in the gray marshes." She said. I had no idea what she was talking about. Thoeme forest...? Gray marshes...? Forest titans!? She was definitely hammered.
"Maybe some day... But I think that we should stick to little things for the mean time." I said.
"Yeah... You'd die if you fought a Titan... I don't want you to die..." She said smiling. I just chuckled a bit and looked behind her to see the waiter walking over. He stopped by at our table and smiled.
"Did you enjoy the meal?" He asked.
"Yes it was delicious..." I said.
"Mine too..." Said Itt.
"Would you two like to order dessert?" He asked.
"Do you want desert? I asked looking over to Itt.
"No... If I eat anymore I'll explode." She said.
"Very well." Said the waiter before he walked over to me and leaned in. "Uhm... Is she going to be alright?" Asked the waiter.
"Yeah she'll be fine." I said. "She's not too good at handling her alcohol."
"Alright... Well, you make sure to get her home safely... And here is the bill." Said the waiter placing it down in front of me. It was 435 bits... Damn son. Doesn't matter though, I made at least twice that today alone plus with the money from yesterday I've got money a plenty. I reached into my pocket and pulled out my wallet. I opened it up and counted out the correct amount plus a generous tip. "Thank you sir." He said taking the money and bill. He then walked away and I got up from my chair and walked over to Itt.
"Alright Itt... C'mon, let's go home now." I said walking over and pulling her chair out as she got up. I pushed the chair back in and we both walked out of the restaurant together. The host waved goodbye to us as we left and we started to make our way back home. We started making our way through the streets and I could tell that Itt was pretty much hammered now. She was a bit wobbly and she kept laughing even though I haven't said a single thing.
"That was so much fun... Thank you master for taking me." She said.
"Sure Itt... No problem." I said.
"We should do this more often..." She said smiling.
"Sure..." I said. We kept walking all the way back to the apartment and once we got there I unlocked the door and opened it up for Itt. She walked in and I followed after her. I locked the door behind us and flicked on all the lights. Itt walked out into the living room and sat down on the couch. I walked out into the living room and sat down next to Itt.
"Oh master... Your shirt is so dirty and torn...you should take it off." She said "here let me help." She said reaching over and grabbing my shirt.
"Hey wait... It, quit it... Stop." I so aid as she started pulling my shirt off for me. "If an do it myself." I said but it was too late. She pulled me shirt off and once again I was covered in cuts and scrapes.
"Aww...master, you're all banged up..."she said. Most of the small cuts and such had already scabbed over. The only really bad wound that I suffered today was that wasp poison which didn't even really physically damage me, except for my back. "Here let me make it better."
