It was early the next morning and I slowly started to come through as light cut through the curtains covering the window of twilight's spare bedroom. I brought my hands up and opened my eyes. I felt something warm and soft weighing down on my body. Once I adjusted I looked to see that it was Itt who was resign her head on my chest. She hand one arm wrapped over my stomach and I felt a rush of soft, warm air brush past my chest with every breath that she took. She looked so peaceful when she was sleeping. I love being able to wake up before her and see her resting against me like this... It's what I look forward to in the mornings, just seeing her sleeping peacefully and clinging onto me. I couldn't help but smile and lie there letting her rest. The best part about being my own boss is that I don't have a set time to wake up anymore.

Today me and Itt were going to head out into town and get an apartment and some new furniture. And luckily with modern day magic furniture can be compacted and then be brought into a house with little effort. I already had a feeling that today was going to be a good day, I could feel it in my gut. But I don't want to start the day just yet, I wanna lay here and hold Itt in my arms. I kept looking at her and her face tightened up and she pulled me closer to her and mumbled something in her sleep. It was adorable, she mumbles a bit in her sleep and she likes to cling to me whenever she's dreaming. It made me chuckle a bit how cute she can be. I watched and smiled again as her face tensed up once again and this time she opened up her eyes and looked right at me and smiled.

"Good morning..." She said crawling on top of me so her whole body was resting on top of me. She laid her head downs my chest and rested on me like I was the bed. "Mmmm... You make a very comfortable bed..." She said smiling and closing her eyes.

"Good morning sleepy..." I said. "Have any good dreams?"

"Mmmm... I did." She said smiling. "I dreamt that you and I had a good day today... And that when we woke up there weren't any news people waiting for us, and that we had a fun day and found the perfect place to live and nobody bothered us all day." She said. "Then I dreamt that we made love in our new bed, then I woke up to you...and to be honest I thought that I was still dreaming for a second and I was ready to keep going." She gave me a dirty smile and I just chuckled a little.

"Hey...maybe your dream will come true." I said.

"Well what are we doing laying here... Let's find out!" She said excitedly getting out of bed and snapping her fingers. Flames burned up her sides and swirled across her body and made her clothes, the long red skirt and black bandages. She did a little twirl and smiled. If ant put on fancy looking clothes like that, so I got up and got changed. Me and Itt walked out of the bedroom and made our way down stairs to the library room near the front door. I walked over to the window and to my surprise I couldn't see any of the news reporters. I looked over to see that Itt had clicked the remote to twilights TV and it flickered on. It went straight to the news and me and Itt watched closely.

"A new development on the case of the ponyville underground burning." Said the news caster. "A few days ago a local abandoned factory, home to ponyvilles underground, was destroyed and most of the thugs and criminals inside were killed. We now know the person behind this." She said. Then she flicked over to a video of me walking up to that well yesterday, snapping my fingers, and torching the whole thing. "This man here, a local hero to ponyville, is the one who committed this act. This ultimately wiped out all organized crime in ponyville and is single handedly making this quiet and troubled town... A better place for all... Jim, what do you think about this?" She asked as the camera panned closer to the anchorman sitting next to her.

"Well Susan... This is certainly good news for ponyville... And I have to admit... The guy looks pretty cool." He said making a joke and they laughed... But I didn't get it.

"Jim... You know that he's on fire most of the time... Literally." Said the anchorwoman making another joke as they laughed some more.

"And literally is not just an exaggeration..." Said the anchorman. "As you can see from the video in just a quick snap of his fingers he ignited the entirety of a well which was infested with spiders. A local man had posted the bill and this is the video of the hero responding to it." He said. "Now Susan, what I find amazing is how he can use magic like this... We've seen plenty of hero's who have magical weapons, which they... Well, usually carry with them, and they can channel that magic through their weapon... But have you ever seen something like that? Just... A snap of your fingers and suddenly everything's on fire." Said the anchorman as he jokingly started snapping his fingers.

"Well I can't say that I have seen anything like that... But something else that I've never seen is that sword he carries..." She said as the video of me playing in the corner stopped and zoomed in on Itt who I held over my shoulder. "Look, and later on we actually have a picture of it on fire." She said as the picture swapped out and it showed a picture of me from the same day fighting a pack of timber wolves and Itt was glowing and on fire.

"Now that's a big sword..." Said the anchorman. "That things taller than some people, and it looks thick and sharp too... I don't get how he can lift that thing with just one hand? Do you Susan?"

"No Jim... I can't say that I do know... He probably goes to the gym a lot." She said making another joke as they started to laugh.

"That's funny..." Said the man quietly. "But this man has definitely gotten the attention of most news stations... And his quick climb to fame is sure to attract the attention of others soon enough. Though there's no mask or any kind of disguise, most attempts to learn this man's name turned up empty, so we don't yet know an identity yet."

"We'll have more of this story on the..." She stopped, because at that point I had turned off the TV. I let out a sigh and placed the remote on the chair and walked back over to the window.

"Are you okay?" Asked Itt.

"Yes I'm fine... I just didn't want to see anymore, it was boring." I said. "But there's good news... It looks like there aren't going to be many news reporters stalking us today." I said. "I can't see any outside... So we probably don't have to go through all the trouble of that plan that we thought up yesterday."

"Aww... I kinda wanted to try flying." Said Itt.

"It might be for the best, you should practice flying before you try for real." I said. "Besides... Look at it this way, so far your dream is starting to come true."

"Yay!" She said giddily bouncing up and down a bit and clapping her hands softly. "That means the rest of the day is going to be nothing but fun... And we'll find a really nice place, and it'll be beautiful and we're going to buy some lovely furniture and everything will be perfect." She said happily.

"I'm sure that everything is going to be perfect." I said.

"Do you want to make some breakfast before we head out?" I asked. "It's a bit late, almost noon and twilight seems to have gone out."

"Oh... I too excited to wait... Can we go now?" She asked.

"Sure... We can go now." I said smiling. "There's a realtor near central ponyville who was a pretty nice guy when he helped me find my old apartment... I'm sure that he'll help us get a place in no time." I said. "C'mon let's go..." I said waking up to the door and opening it up. Itt smiled and chased after me and we both walked outside into the fresh summer day. It was hot outside, but I'm not bothered by the heat anymore. Itt grabbed my arm and we started walking down to the center of ponyville. Itt clung to my arm happily and she kept the same excited smile on her face from when we left to the time that we ended up getting to central ponyville. It was just a large circular area with the town hall smack dab in the very center. All around it were shops and stores with only four streets leading from here. North, south, east, and west streets.

"It should be over here..." I said calling back on my memories. I scanned the signs across the stores until I found the one that read "Markus Dean Realtors.". I smiled and led Itt over to the store.

"Is this it?" She asked.

"Yeah, this is the place..." I replied as I placed my hand on the door and opened it up. As the door swung open a little bell run that was tied to the door. It was a cozy little pace and it smelled like orange furniture cleaner. There were several one person chairs to the right and a table with magazines on it where people could wait, and there was a front desk where a woman was typing up stuff on her computer. She wore a black dress, very formal, with a pair of glasses and she kept her blonde hair tied back in a bun. I walked over to the desk and waited for her to turn greet me.

"One moment sir..." She said. "I just have to... Type in this address...and...Done!" She said hitting the last button on her keyboard and then turning in her swivel chair and cupping her hands together on her desk. I had noticed that this place wasn't very busy today, which is nice... Now we don't have to wait. "What can I do...do...hey... You're the hero!" She said excitedly.

"And so it begins..." I said quietly to myself even though she could probably hear me.

"I'm sorry... But we're here to meet the realtor... We're looking for a new home." Said Itt.

"Sure thing... We aren't busy today so you can go right on in... Mr. Dean should be in his office right now." She said smiling and gesturing to a fancy office door to the right of us with the realtors name on a placard. I smiled and waved as me and Itt walked over to the office door. I walked up and knocked on the door.

"Come right in..." Said a voice inside. I opened up the door and me and Itt walked in. It was a cozy little office with a black desk, a few paintings on the walls, and two chairs in front of the desk. Behind the desk was a well groomed man, probably in his late twenties. He had combed back hair, and he was wearing a light blue button down with a black tie and slacks. I looked at him and smiled, it took him a moment but then he smiled and opened up his arms. "Hey...Zack!" He said. "How's it going... How are the parents... Hear from them recently?"

"No I haven't... I should probably call them up though some time... It's been quite a while." I said smiling.

"Darling... Do you know this man?" Asked Itt.

"Yeah... He was a good friend of my moms." I said.

"Your mother was a very sweet and kind woman." He said gesturing us to take a seat. So we both sat down in the chairs in front of the desk. "I didn't try and stop her when she tried marrying your father, and in the end it all seemed to turn out for the best."

"I suppose it has." I said.

"So who is this lovely woman here?" He asked.

"This is my wife... Itt." I said.

"Wow... A wife... Hey that's great, congratulations." He said reaching his hand over the desk and we shook hands. "I'm glad you found somebody... But, uh... What did you say her name was?"

"Itt..." I said. "I-T-T... I know it's a bit of a strange name... But that doesn't matter."

"Hey... The world is full of strange things." He said.

"Yeah... I know." I replied.

"I'm sure you do being the friendly neighborhood hero and all." He said and I just chuckled silently to myself.

"I suppose I could have guessed that you would know too." I said.

"Everybody knows your face." He said. "But nobody seems to remember the name."

"Well... Don't go telling the news stations who I am... Okay?" I asked.

"I'd never think about it." He said. "So... What can I do for you Zack?"

"We're here to find a new place... Preferably somewhere in east ponyville." I said.

"Is the old place getting too small?" He asked. "Maybe thinking about starting a family?"

"Well... We aren't thinking about starting a family yet." I said looking over at Itt who agreed. "And the old place wasn't getting that small... It was kinda nice... But uh... Right before the...uh... Well, I'm sure you heard about what went down at the old factory building."

"I sure have..." He said.

"Well... Before that, when we got home... The uh... The apartment was trashed... Everything was either destroyed or stolen." I said.

"Yeah... I was afraid that was you." He said. "The report from the landlord had come up in my files just yesterday. I'm sorry to hear that... I'll be glad to help you look for a new place."

"Thanks mark..." I said.

"I might actually have the perfect place for you two." He said. "There's a condo chain in east ponyville called sunshine valley." He said. "One of the condo's there is available and it's just 750 bits a month."

"That sounds fairly reasonable." I said.

"Yeah but it gets better." He said. "It has one and a half bathrooms, two bedrooms, one master, one guest, a living room still with a sofa and reclining chair left there. And there's a kitchen, dining room with an electric stove top, microwave oven, kitchen appliances and everything else." He said.

"It sound nice..." I said.

"The man who lived there left pretty much everything he had in that one house...he failed to clean it out and so he furniture bids with the house. In fact, the only other thing you'd really need to buy would be a bed... And that's pretty much it. It has a TV, shower and bath, kitchen equipment and appliances, furniture and living furnishings, as well as drawers and wardrobes." He said.

"Oh my god... That sounds perfect." I said.

"Although... Because of that, the initial moving in price is twenty thousand bits to start living in the place, after that it's only serve fifty a month." He said looking really serious.

"That's not a problem..." I said. "In fact that sounds perfect."

"I didn't know you he'd that kind of money." Said mark.

"What? Do you think I just go around fixing people's problems for free?" I said. "I've completely wiped out almost all of ponyvilles problems, and the bills that everybody posts usually pay nicely... I have a little over fifty thousand saved up in my bank... With all the expenses out of the way me and Itt will still have thirty thousand left... That's plenty left... This is absolutely perfect."

"Oh... Darling it's just like my dream!" Said Itt excitedly. "I dreamt that once we bought a nice place all of our stuff was already there... Oh, this is so exciting." She said happily.

"Well... That's great." Said mark. "If you want you can write out the check for the down payment of twenty thousand plus first month's rent of seven fifty and I can show you the place while my assistant starts filling out forms and finalizes the deed."

"Uhm... I'm no good with writing checks... I hate keeping a balance book. I tried it once and I just couldn't figure it out." I said. "Can I just run to the bank next door and withdraw the money and hand it to you?" I asked.

"Uh... Well... That works too, I guess." He said a bit surprised to hear that. "Though I figured a check would be faster."

"Oh don't worry... Me and Itt have the whole day." I said. "Itt, you stay here and I'll be right back." I said getting up and walking to the office door. I opened it up and rushed out of the building to the ponyville town bank literally two stores down. I ran over and walked in. This place wasn't too busy either. I almost walked right up to the teller desk but remembered that I need to write a withdrawal slip. So I walked over to the desk and started making out the form. I wrote down my name, both printed and signature, then I wrote twenty thousand under the amount and finished the slip by writing down my account number. I smiled and got into the empty line, but they don't like it when you just rush up to the desk, so I stood there for a moment.

"I'll take you over here sir..." Said one of the tellers. I walked over and smiled, I was excited...I'm going to get a new house.

"I'd like to make a withdrawal..." I said smiling. I handed the teller the slip. She started punching in some numbers into her computer but stopped when her eyes rested on the withdrawal amount. She glanced between me and the slip.

"Twenty thousand?!" She said.

"Yes..." I said.

"Sure thing sir..." She said with a bit of a suspicious voice. She punched in the rest of the numbers and when something popped up on the screen her expression changed. "Oh... I'm sorry sir, I didn't think you would have that much money at your disposal... My apologies."

"It's fine." I said.

"Just a moment." She said leaving the desk and waking off to behind some wall to a different room. I waited for a few minutes before she came back out with two wads of hundred bit bills. She smiled and handed me the money. "There you are sir...twenty thousand...have a pleasant day." She said. I smiled and thanked her them made my way back to the realtors place. I opened the door to see that mark and Itt were talking in front of the desk. I walked in and Itt noticed me and smiled and walked over.

"Oh, there you are..." She said. "Mark was telling me about the neighborhood and it's supposed to be really nice and friendly."

"That's great..." I said walking over to him and holding out the two wads of cash. "Here's the down payment." I said and as he took the money I reached into my wallet and started counting out the first month's rent of seven fifty. I took out some money and handed that to him too. "And here's the first month's rent."

"Wow...Zack... You've really turned your life around." He said. "Literally, it's like it's not even you anymore. I remember you use to be the little mischievous kid, and when you grew up you weren't so different, except you were broke and lonely... Now...well, look at you. You've got money... You're married, and you're the freaking town hero for crying out loud... I've never seen a more classic tale of rags to riches."

"Well... It's all because I met a wonderful woman." I said pulling Itt closer to me and she blushed.

"Well... Anyway." He said. "Marry can you please start filling out the legal work for 15 sunshine valley..."

"Right away Mr. Dean." Said the receptionist.

"Come... I'll show you to the house." He said. "It isn't very far from the town hall, and it's close to a nice school too if you ever consider children." He said. We smiled and followed him and we started to make our way down East Street. We started walking along and mark told us about how the place is a great place for peace and quiet and also a wonderful location to raise a child. East ponyville is very well integrated and there's a well balanced mix of ponies and people. And as we started walking along her showed the school. It was ponyville middle school.

"I remember going to school there." I said. "That should mean that East Street high isn't too far away." I said.

"Nope. It's just down that road." Said mark pointing off to a different road. Suddenly all of my memories from school started flashing back in my head... I quickly started to focus on something else. "There are plenty of residencies here in east ponyville and it also has a nice shopping district. Oh.. And here we are... Sunshine valley." He said showing up a path leading to a large part of town where there was a long chain of houses that all looked the same. They seemed like normal houses, except each house was cut in half. We started walking along until we finally got to the right house, 15 sunshine valley the house was painted white with windows and black shutters. Mark used a key to unlock the door and pushed it open. We walked in after him and me and Itt got a good feel for the house.

The moment we walked in there was a sudden rush of cool air that hit us and it felt great. To our left was a door way which opened up into the half bathroom which was a little small, but it only had a toilet and a sink, which is fine. To our right was the kitchen area which was cut off from everything else by a counter. You could easily peer over the counter and stare into the dining room which was on the other side of the kitchen. The kitchen floors were tiled and the counter was granite. There was a double sink with a hose and an oven not too far away. Up above on the walls were cupboards and at the bend where the counter breaks off from the wall and heads towards the door, there was a black microwave. Next to it was a toaster.

Across the counter was a rather big dining table, capable of seating up to eight people. It had a nice linen table cloth over it with a floral design and the chairs which were padded had the same matching design. The table was an oval shape and lined up right next to a sliding glass door which opened up to a porch. It wasn't much of a porch, but it was a small porch with stairs leading down to a large back yard. There was a small glass table out there with an umbrella and a grill not far from it. On the left there was a turn which lead to the living room. There was a large sectional couch which wasn't too far from the inning table and a wall mounted TV. The section wrapped up to the stairs and close to the back wall was a reclining chair. There was a glass coffee table in front of the sectional with a remote on it. The sectional pressed up against the stairs which also acted as a closet. The closet space was decent enough and soon we followed mark upstairs.

We walked up and there were four rooms up there. There was a bedroom and when we walked in there were a few dressers and a closet and a small office desk built for a computer probably. That room was right in front of the stairs. Next to the right was a smaller room with a dryer and washing machine, which is nice. That was the laundry room. The next room was the full bathroom. It had a sink with a mirror cupboard to store medication and stuff as well and a small closed to the right of it. The sink was up against the right wall and it had a toilet and a shower too with floral shower curtains. The last room that mark showed us was the master bedroom. We walked in and saw that it was decently big. It had a sliding closet and a large wardrobe. It also had a dresser against the wall close to the door with a mirror on it. And there was another, larger dresser against the wall to the right facing where the bed should be. It had a TV on it and was close to the door and the closet. There were two end table in the corners of the room. But there was no bed... So without a bed, this room felt...weird since it looks so much like a finished bedroom.

"So... Isn't it great?" Asked mark.

"Oh darling it's absolutely perfect..." Said Itt happily.

"Your right... It is... I'm glad we found a place like it... And it's practically already done, which is one hell of a stroke of luck." I said. "Though... I do have to wonder... Why would somebody leave all this furniture here but take their bed?"

"Well the original owner was rather...eccentric." He said. "He kept all of his money in his mattress... Both actually... He and two bedrooms and said that having a bedroom without a bed was like treason."

"This man... Where is he now?" Asked Itt.

"He moved out of town... I don't know where to though." He said. "But anyway...you like the place?"

"We love it." I said as Itt hugged me tight and we smiled at our new home. We headed right back to marks realtor place and got the official paperwork. We got the deed to our house and I went and put it in the vault at the bank for safe keeping. While we still own the house and we have the deed, since it's a condo we have to pay rent, but it all goes to the town. The rent just pays for heating, water, and electricity. Once we were done and we finished all the legal work me and Itt went out to the large furniture store in south ponyville. We walked in and started checking out some of the beds until we found a nice king sized bed with a metal frame. It came with black sheets with a floral pattern which matched the floral patterns in the new house quite well, and the bed doesn't squeak when it rocks.

We decided to buy the bed and it was somewhere around four thousand bits, but that was fine. I was able to pay for it with my debit card. And with the great strides in modern magic the bed was able to be compacted into a single stone tablet which could be carried anywhere. Furniture stores like to use this kind of magic because it's easy to use, and it's good for small towns like this where they can't drive round cars and move furniture by vehicle. So me and Itt happily took the bed back to our new condo. We walked upstairs and moved into the bedroom. I've seen my parents use these things before and it's pretty simple. All you have to do is break the tablet and toss it down in a wide open space. And this room was definitely big enough to hold the bed. So I broke the tablet over my knee and tossed it down in the middle of the bedroom. There was a soft band and a large puff of smoke and once the heavy smoke faded the bed was sitting right there where the tablet was thrown down.

"Oh... It looks so lovely..." Said Itt. The bed wasn't completely in place yet, it was just kinda standing in the middle of the room.

"Here, help me move this..." I said walking over to the side of the bed. Itt moved to the other side me we moved the bed up against the wall and the headboard stood up nicely against the wall. I grabbed the frame and started shaking the bed and it didn't make any sound when it was shook. Itt smiled and leapt over and hugged me. The next thing we did was walk into the guest bedroom and we decided to move some of the furniture around so that it looked like an office now, more than a bedroom. We'll have to go out and get a computer for the desk, but we can do that another day. Right now me and Itt decided to go out and get some groceries.

So we headed back out and locked the door behind us. I put the key in my pocket and we headed off to a local grocery store which was pretty close. When we got there we went around and bought a bunch if food and stuff like milk, eggs, meat, fish, vegetables, and other stuff. Me and Itt were having a good day, one of the first normal days we've ever had. We had fun walking around and talking about all the good times we would have, and Itt was so happy, and that made me happy. Once we were done shopping we're done shopping we headed back home with our groceries in hand. Once we got home we started putting them away in the fridge. The fridge was a large fridge which was up against the wall close to the front door with the counter connecting I close to the sink which was right under the window looking out to the front. The kitchen was surrounded by counter on almost three sides, but it cut off just a little before reaching the edge of our dining table.

I helped it put away all the food and we stashed the plastic bags away in one of the cabinets bellow the sink. The cabinet under the sink already had tons of cleaning supplies in it and had cleaning detergents for the dish washer. There were even dishes and plates and stuff in the cabinets up above, as well as pots and pans in the ones down bellow. Seeing how full this house was, I felt kinda weird living in it, like it was somebody else's house and we're just visiting. Why would somebody leave literally everything but their bed. I looked over to Itt as she put away the last couple cans of food we bought and I expected to see her smiling and happy, but she had a somewhat solemn and distant look on her face.

"Hey... Are you okay?" I asked.

"Oh... Yeah." She said looking back at me and smiling.

"What was with that look on your face?" I asked. "You looked like something was troubling you."

"Well...I just have this weird feeling." Said Itt. "This is all perfect."

"And what's wrong with that?" I asked.

"Well...that's the problem... It's perfect... It's too perfect. It feels weird, like there's still somebody here... Do you know what I mean?" She asked looking over at me.

"You mean like how it feels that this is still somebody else's house, and we're just visiting." I said.

"Exactly..." She said closing the cabinet.

"I was just thinking the same thing." I said. "I don't get why somebody would just leave all of this stuff here and only take their bed... A lot of this furniture is really nice, and for only twenty grand to cover the down payment for all this stuff... It seems a little too cheap."

"Hey... Maybe we can ask some of the neighbors and introduce ourselves." I said.

"That sounds perfect... They might know something." She said. "Why don't we go right now." Said Itt walking over to the door. I followed her and we walked out of the house and walked only a couple feet away to the next door down. I walked up and knocked on the door. I waited for a second until the door opened and revealed a woman still hiding behind the clear screen door. She looked at me and smiled and opened up the screen door.

"Oh... Hey, you're the hero that's on the news... Wow, this is amazing." She said seeming very happy.

"Uhm... Yeah." I said.

"Is there anything you need?" She asked.

"No... I uh... Well, me and my wife actually moved in just next door and we're going to introduce ourselves." I said.

"Oh, you moved into number 15... That's great, it's about time somebody moved in there." She said.

"About time?" I asked.

"Oh yeah..." She said opening up the screen door and leaning against the door frame. "That place has been empty for a while now... Most of the people that think about buying it usually change their mind the second they see the place, I don't know why, it's got tons of stuff in it... All you have to do really is just pay the down payment and move right on in."

"Yeah... It's really nice, but the only thing that we found that was weird was that there wasn't a bed though." I said.

"Oh yeah... That's because the guy who used to live there liked to keep his money in his mattress apparently."

"So what can you tell us about the man who lived here?" Asked Itt.

"Oh he wasn't all that bad." She said. "Nobody really knew his name, but everybody knew his face. He was a middle aged man, receding hair line, but still rather lean for his age. He looked like a normal guy, but he might as well have been a saint, he was always so kind...but oddly mysterious. He helped out a lot and everybody loved him." She said smiling. "Though, he want married, and didn't have kid of his own, but he always talked about a woman."

"What woman?" Asked Itt.

"I don't know." She said. "One day he started talking about a woman in his basement, but these condos don't have basements... So that's when we figured out that he was kinda crazy...which was a real shame." She said. "He kept talking about that woman and his basement and people around here got kinda afraid of him. It sounded like he had some woman locked away in his basement. And even if that was possible, these condos don't have basements...or attics. I have to admit that even I was a little creeped out by him... Then one day he was gone."

"And he took his mattress with him... Right?" I asked.

"Yeah... He left practically overnight." She said. "That really a much as my body round here would know. I was his neighbor so I knew him the best, and even then it was sketchy at best."

"So you don't know his name...?" I asked.

"No...Now that you think about it... I don't." She said seeming stumped. "In this neighbor hood we don't really care for names all that much...we just knock on each other's doors and say hi... What's pretty much how it is around here."

"Huh... Well, I think we've wasted enough of your time... Thanks for the help." I said.

"Hey no problem... You need anything else, just knock." She said. She wave goodbye and we walked back into our house. Once we got back in I could tell that Itt got a chill down her back same as I. We ignored it and decided to relax for a while until there was a sudden knock at the door. I knew it had to be twilight since she's the only one who I told about this. I walked over to the door and opened it up and saw that it was twilight. She looked at me and smiled and she had two large boxes right behind her.

"Hey Zack... You left these at my house." She said. The two large boxes were the only things I had left from the old place, which unfortunately was just a bunch of my clothes. Still... I had forgotten about them, so it's a good thing twilight came over.

"Hey Twi..." I said with a smile. "How'd you ignore out where we moved to?"

"I talked to the realtor guy, he told me all about this place and it seemed a bit too good to b true." She said.

"Yeah...we think so too." I said.

"Can I come in?" She asked.

"Yeah, I'll get the boxes." I said walking past her and grabbing the two boxes which weren't very heavy. She walked in and started looking around and I carried the boxes into the house. I closed the door with my leg and Carrie the boxes over to the dining area and placed the boxes on the table. I walked back over to twilight who stood by the sectional. Itt was sitting on the sectional and had the TV turned on to the news.

"Ugh..." Said twilight shivering for a moment.

"What's wrong?" I asked.

"I don't know... I just got a shiver down my spine." She said. "I don't know why but I just suddenly got this weird feeling."

"We know..." Said Itt.

"We've been having the same problem all day... It's a perfect house, when we bought it, the only furniture we had to buy was a bed... And it just feels...weird." I said. "Nobody seems to know anything about the man that lived here, other than he was a bit crazy I suppose... But our neighbor said he was a great guy otherwise...though nobody knows his name."

"Of all the places in ponyville you had to buy the one house that is most likely haunted." Said twilight flashing me a smile.

"C'mon twilight... I know that you don't believe in that junk." I said.

"Oh... Don't say that..." Said Itt seeming a bit scared and worried. "I think the house might be cursed..."

"Cursed?" I asked.

"Mmmm... I don't know where... But I've felt it even before we entered the house. The second I saw it I could feel a very powerful warding circle close by... And I think it might be in our house." She said.

"A warding circle?" Asked twilight.

"Why didn't you tell anybody Itt?" Asked twilight.

"Oh... Zack looked so happy, I didn't want to ruin anything." She said.

"Baby... I don't want you to feel uncomfortable in our house... This is the one place you should feel the safest..."

"I'm sorry." She said.

"Zack... Don't just brush this off so easily...warding circles are a very powerful and evil magic." Said twilight. "They're almost completely undetectable, but luckily Itt's powers give her a good grip over the ripples that run through the veil." Twilight said.

"I'm completely sure that it's a warding circle..." Said Itt.

"So what is a warding circle?" I asked.

"It's meant to keep people away by giving them the kind of feeling that we feel now." Said twilight. "A sort of feeling of fear and uneasiness... They're usually placed when somebody wants to protect something... So whoever live here before probably had something he wanted to keep secret."

"So, if it's magic that means a unicorn used to live here..." I said.

"Not completely true..." Said Itt. "Warding magic is an old class o magic known as blood magic, it's a very powerful and evil magic that can be used by anybody."

"So that means..." I said leading them on.

"The person who lived here sacrificed his own blood to keep some in safe... He might have even sacrificed his entire life to keeping whatever it is safe." She said.

"So... What do we do... Just move again and forget about it?" I asked.

"No... I like living here, and it makes us happy..." Said Itt walking over to me and hugging my arm. I just patted her on the head and she smiled.

"We can dispel it... It's not hard. Just break one of the runes and the spell is well... Dispelled." Said twilight. "I'm sure Itt knows exactly where it is."

"I do..." She said.

"You know we're married... Right?" I asked Itt.

"I know..." She said solemnly.

"You need to tell me about these things... Don't keep things like this secret from me, I want to help you as much as I can and make you feel safe." I said.

"I'm sorry darling... I won't keep any more secrets from you... I promise." She said smiling. I patted her on the head again and hugged her.

"Are you two done?" Asked twilight. "You've still got an evil blood rune somewhere in your house you know."

"Sorry..." Said Itt.

"So do you know where it is?" I asked.

"Well... I can feel it the strongest when I'm on the stairs." She said.

"So it's on the stairs then..." I said.

"What about this closest here?" Asked twilight looking at the closet which was built directly into the stair case.

"Have we even been in that closet?" I asked looking at it.

"Yeah, when the realtor man showed us the house he opened it up and there was nothing in it." Said Itt.

"Wait here..." I said. "You too twilight. I'll check inside." I said as twilight walked over to Itt and stood beside her out of the view from the inside of the closet. I grabbed the handle on both of the folding doors to the closet and swung them open. Once I saw what was inside I let out a quick surprised shout and jumped back from the surprise.

"Darling what is it?" Asked Itt.

"I uh... Think I found our missing piece of furniture..." I said reaching into the closet and pulling down the mattress and sheets that was blocking the door. They fell to the ground and laid there. Itt just covered her mouth and stared at it.

"Is that your bed?" Asked twilight.

"Not ours... Probably the other guys." I said. "The frames in here too." I said reaching in and pulling on the frame. I managed to pull it out after shifting it around a bit and I pulled it out and tossed it onto the ground on top of the mattress and sheets. I looked back in the closet and there was a small light with a chain hanging from the ceiling of the closet. I reached up and pulled the chain and the light flickered on. I looked around in the closet but it was truly empty now. "I don't see any evil looking blood runes."

"The mattress that has to be it..." Said twilight. "It could be in the mattress."

"Yeah, but where the hell did it come from?" I asked.

"I don't know... Blood magic is very powerful and unstable magic... It could have just been cloaked."

"Can we please just... Get it out of here?" Asked Itt

"Yeah..." I said. "There's a dumpster out back near the gate to this neighborhood... We can dump it in there."

So we grabbed the mattress and started carrying it out the back sliding door and off the porch to the dumpster out back. Twilight carried the frame and me and Itt carried the mattress. We walked it all over to the dumpster and twilight tossed the frame in. I rolled up the sheets and tossed them in too. Throwing this stuff away did help give me some peace of mind. The only thing that was left was the mattress which still had a bed spread covering it. I reached down and pulled off the bed spread and as I pulled it from the mattress Itt gasped and covered her mouth and I just kinda froze. The mattress had blood covering it in the shape of some sort of magic circle. Twilight just stared at it.

"I figured that's where it would be." Said twilight. "I figured that when I saw you pull the mattress out."

"Can we... Just get rid of it?" Asked Itt.

"You should destroy it first." Said twilight.

"Then we'll burn it!" I said glaring at the mattress and holding up my left hand as the runes on my arm glowed bright red and flames sparked in my palm. I waved my hand at the mattress and the ball of flames in my hand fired at the mattress and it combusted and burst into flames. It burned for a few seconds and then the fires vanished leaving only a pile of ash. I watched as Itt closed her eyes and let out a deep sigh of relief.

"I feel much better now..." She said.

"But it doesn't make sense." Said twilight.

"Oh geez." I mumbled to myself.

"Why would somebody just make a warding circle on their mattress if they aren't protecting anything... Something should have appeared that was sealed inside the circle..." She said.

"Are you saying that there's more?" Asked Itt.

"I'm saying that you shouldn't go leaning on any walls." Said twilight. "Blood magic is very powerful and self sacrificing magic."

"Ugh... We should've just moved into another single bedroom apartment." I said.

"I thought that everything was going to be perfect today." Said Itt. "We were having so much fun, and it was all starting to look just like the dream I had... I don't remember any of this in my dream."

"Grr... Stupid mattress!" I said angrily as I kicked the ashes of the mattress and they flew up into the air and were carried away by the wind.

"Why don't we head back in..." Said twilight. I just let out a sigh and followed twilight back into our new house. When we walked in it felt... Strange, and not the strange like it used to feel, but strange as in, it's changed.

"Hey... I don't have that weird feeling anymore." Said Itt finally starting to cheer up.

"Neither do I..." Said twilight.

"So does that mean it's over?" I asked.

"Well... The warding circle is gone... But I still can't get the feeling it was hiding something..." She said. "If it was then whatever it was hiding should have a magical field around it from the residue of the blood magic... Itt should be able to sense it... Do you feel anything?"

"I don't... This is just a normal house now..." She said. "And I'm glad, whatever that circle may have been hiding I don't care to find out, I'm just glad that it's gone."

"As am I..." I said.

"I suppose it is good that nothing's happened after that." Said twilight. "I guess the guy who used to live here though he would try his hand at blood magic, and probably ended up sealing his own life to make that seal all for nothing..." Said twilight.

"Well... Now that's all over with... Why don't I take these boxes up stairs...then I can start making dinner..." Said Itt walking over to the table and grabbing the two boxes.

"Here I'll take one of those." I said grabbing the top box.

"Hey Zack... Can you wait for a second... There's something I need to tell you." Said twilight. I looked over to Itt and she just smiled.

"I'll bring this one upstairs... You can catch up when you're done." She said as she walked away and started slowly making her way up stairs.

"What is it Twi?" I asked.

"I didn't really mean what I sad back there..." She said. "I still think that there's more to all of this than I want Itt to believe, but she seems really upset about all of this... So I didn't want to say anything." Said twilight.

"So what do you think then?" I asked.

"I think that seal was hiding something... I don't know what... But it has to be close." Said twilight. "Now... It's not much to worry about since I can't sense any dark vibes in the veil, which would have shown up if an evil force were to appear due to the seal breaking."

"So whatever you think there is... You're saying that it isn't dangerous?" I asked.

"I saying that it's not evil." Said twilight. "But just keep your eyes open." She said. Suddenly a scream echoed through the house and me and twilight both shot our gaze towards the stairs. It was Itt's voice that had just screamed, without any hesitation, or without saying anything I rocketed across the living room and thundered up the stairs. I made an immediate turn and rushed right into the master bedroom where Itt was. I rushed over to her and made sure she was fine. She wasn't hurt, but she was looking at something. I looked over to see that she was staring at our bed.

On our bed was laying a woman. She had long black hair, and a black and blood red dress. The dress itself was red, deep red, and it was covered in black lace. Like a red and black maids uniform. Her long black hair was tied back into a ponytail, and she was sleeping soundly right on top of our bed. Her skin was pale and she looked soft and warm, then I noticed something rather upsetting. She was wearing a collar around her neck, and when she moaned and started to open her eyes I saw that her eyes were blood red just like Itt's. She moaned and looked over to me and stared right at me. She seemed confused... Then again so was I... I don't know who this woman is... Where she came from... But I have a bad feeling I know what she might be.

"Are..." She said pausing for a brief moment and looking right at me. She got up and sat down with her legs crossed on the bed.

"Are you my new master...?"
