Rescue
Naruto walked through the main gate with the others carrying Hinata on his back and the others following, Shino carrying the box with the bikochu. Jiraiya was waiting and didn't look happy.
"Our trip is on hold, again," Jiraiya growled. "Shikamaru will be leading a team with you and Kiba in it on a mission that you cannot decline. After that is another. Did your mission succeed?"
"Yes," Naruto nodded creating a shadow clone who took Hinata and left for her house. "Shino, take care of the bug until Jiraiya finally manages to drag me out of the village. We're going to find the agent while we're away and hopefully return with Sasuke."
Shino nodded just as Shikamaru, Lee, Ino and Choji rushed past. Naruto and Kiba joined them and Naruto quickly caught up to Shikamaru who filled Naruto and Kiba in that Gaara's student had been kidnapped to get to .
"Where's Neji?" Naruto questioned.
"He was away on a mission," Shikamaru stated. "We brought Ino."
"Ino go home," Naruto shouted over his shoulder. "I want you to watch over Hinata while she's recovering. There are some Stone Ninja that might be after her. But you can't tell anyone about it. Right Kiba?"
Kiba nodded understanding that Ino wasn't needed and would only slow them down. Ino thought for a moment then nodded and turned around, heading back to the village. The others all continued in silence for a moment before Shikamaru spoke up.
"She's not really in danger is she?" Shikamaru questioned.
"No," Naruto stated. "She killed the ninjas single handedly. But Ino will only be in the way when we arrive. "This time, I'm not leaving the fighting up to you guys."
"Good," Shikamaru grinned. "The last time hurt."
"You less than some," Choji and Kiba both said.
"Your girlfriend saved you," Kiba snickered.
"Shut up!" Shikamaru snapped. "She's not my girlfriend."
"Touchy touchy," Naruto grinned. "Come on. We need to hurry."
They all sped up and after about a day, split up, having reached the scattered battlefields of the others. Naruto went to help Gaara with Lee just behind him and after about fifteen minutes, they reached him just in time for Naruto to kick a shinobi wearing armor in the shape of a white tiger's head away from Gaara.
"You okay?" Naruto questioned.
"Been better," Gaara stated as Lee helped him up.
"How many, how far are they spread, what do they have for weapons?" Naruto questioned.
"This one and two more fighting my siblings," Gaara stated. "Temari is fighting one with a pair of short swords that amplify chakra and allow for massively powerful wind-type attacks. Kankuro is fighting one with a single short sword whose blade can extend and be controlled with chakra. And this guy just has his armor but it's dangerous. You must have felt it steal your chakra."
"Yes," Naruto nodded. "Is that all?"
"No," Gaara said shaking his head. "There is one other. The leader is further ahead and has Matsuri. I don't know what he wields or how strong he is."
"Alright," Naruto nodded placing a hand on Gaara's shoulder and giving him a good amount of chakra so he could fight then placing a teleportation seal on his skin under his sand armor where it couldn't be seen.
"I placed a teleportation seal on your shoulder under your Sand Armor," Naruto stated. "I'm going to create a barrier and only those with the seal on them will be able to pass through it. Except me, I can teleport to you now. Lee, you're going with him."
He placed a seal on Lee's shoulder as well and the two nodded before Naruto sprinted around the shinobi with the armor until he was between him and the leader.
"How far?" Naruto questioned.
"Two miles," Gaara stated pointing directly away from the leader's position.
"Good," Naruto nodded grinning. "Let's see if Dad's jutsu really does work."
He began forming a string of hand seals and the ninja in the armor prepared himself for an attack. Then, clapped his hands together and grinned.
"Space-Time Sealing Barrier!" Naruto shouted slamming his right hand into the ground.
Suddenly, a wall of light shot out of the ground behind him shooting into the sky and arching forward meeting with the rest of itself and formed a dome. The shinobi with the armor looked around and glared at them.
"Go on you two," Naruto said motioning with his head. "I'll handle things here."
As Gaara and Lee walked toward the barrier, dozens of massive glowing seals, all identical massive versions of Naruto's teleportation seal, and all glowing a golden yellow. The Leaf Village ninja and the Sand Village Ninja all recognized the seals and understood the function of the barrier. The enemies did not. Gaara and Lee walked through the barrier which offered no resistance. The enemy, believing that the seal was for looks, leapt over Naruto and into it, instantly reappearing on the opposite side of it with no one around him. Naruto snorted and knelt placing a hand on the ground and sent seals shooting out around him. Those that reached the barrier teleported to the opposite side continuing inward from the barrier. Soon, the entire area was covered in his seals and Naruto stepped into the barrier, reappearing at a seal between Kankuro, Kiba, and Akamaru and their enemy, a young boy holding a sword with three blue blades that were extended and had been transformed into dragon heads. He glared at Naruto while Kankuro and Kiba grinned and stood back to watch. The boy sent the heads after Naruto but as they reached him, he teleported behind the boy driving a kunai into his back. It wasn't fatal but made him drop the sword which he picked up.
"Nice sword," Naruto grinned channeling some chakra into it. "The blade is controlled by...yes chakra, I see. Very nice. I think I'll hang onto it. He's all yours guys. I've got another set to gather."
He teleported to a seal just behind the kunoichi that was fighting Shikamaru and Temari. They had already formed a plan but before they could put it in action, Naruto grabbed her arms and stripped her swords from her hands before throwing her toward Shikamaru. He easily caught her then shrugged to Temari, Naruto having already moved on. Naruto appeared in front of the third ninja, startling him and he stumbled backward. Then he saw the sword in Naruto's left hand that he had taken from the boy and the two in his right which could be put together to form a single sword, as Naruto had them.
"You have the Garian Sword and the Double-Edged Swords?" the man gasped. "Then they're dead."
"Most likely by now," Naruto shrugged. "But maybe not. Either way, you're next."
"Try me," the shinobi grinned. "My armor is indestructible.
Naruto grinned and stabbed both swords into the ground before forming three hand seals.
"I've been practicing this one," Naruto grinned. "Wind Style, Vacuum Spheres!"
He exhaled a dozen spheres of wind at the ninja who snorted and simply stood there. Within seconds, all twelve had smashed straight through him, severely damaging the armor and killing him. Instantly, all of the items disappeared and Naruto swore. He teleported to the side of the barrier closest to Gaara and Lee then to Lee himself. He released the barrier as he reappeared and found Gaara in a massive metal dome that was absorbing his chakra and sending it to a man floating a short distance away with long spiky white hair, a gold piece of metal wrapped around the back and sides of his head, an off-white robe underneath the tiger-head piece of the armor from the third Shinobi which had a piece of metal around the back of his head with the Double-Edged Swords blades leaving the side of the face just behind the eyes and curving around behind the ninja before becoming blades and extending up past his head from being level with his waist. A black long sword blade extended from the face's nose and the Garian Sword extended from behind him, one of the smaller blades on each side and the large one over his head. There was a glowing green orb by each shoulder and one below his feet.
"Who is that?" Naruto asked a young girl probably a year or two younger than him who was crouching behind a rock to his side.
"Seimei," the girl stated. "He beat the guy in green easily."
Naruto glanced at Lee, seeing that he was barely on his feet with several injuries and sighed.
"Stay with Matsuri," Naruto ordered. "I'll handle this guy."
Lee nodded and walked to one side and Naruto sighed again looking longingly at the four swords Seimei had.
"You know, I recently lost my sword," Naruto stated. "I don't suppose I could have those Double-Edged Swords could I?"
"No," Seimei said flatly. "Now, you will die. I will drain your friend of his chakra and then, I will rule the world."
"Yeah, that's not gonna happen, sorry," Naruto sighed before dashing forward and creating three clones.
Seimei rolled his eyes and sighed.
"Solid Blanks!" Seimei said as nearly invisible spheres of wind shot out of the tiger's head and destroyed the clones before launching Naruto.
"Is that all you've got?" Naruto grinned. "I dare you to try again."
Seimei repeated the attack and Naruto made three hand seals and grinned.
"Wind Style, Vacuum Sphere!" Naruto said firing his jutsu through Seimei's, as Danzo had done to his own.
The jutsus cancelled out and Seimei raised his eyebrows. Naruto charged forward creating clones to cover him and Seimei fired a stream of fire mixed with wind. Naruto avoided it and it incinerated his clones. Naruto leapt at Seimei to attack him but Seimei sent the three Garian Sword blade at him as dragons and they caught then threw him away. Then, they turned back into swords and shot toward him. Just before they reached him, a rope javelin wrapped around them, stopping them and Naruto looked sideways to see Matsuri holding the rope javelin's handle.
"Thank you," Naruto smiled just as the metal cage exploded and Gaara leapt out, right side of his body already forming Shukaku.
"So, that's the Shukaku," Seimei stated smiling smugly. "It's the first time I've ever seen it."
Seimei's blades snapped Matsuri's rope javelin easily and retracted. Matsuri didn't care. She was staring at Gaara and shaking in utter terror.
"Get out of here Matsuri!" Naruto shouted.
"But...Gaara Sensei!" Matsuri began.
"Go on!" Naruto snapped. "He's fighting to keep you safe. Go!"
"Alright," Matsuri nodded as she and Lee stood to leave just as the others arrived now joined by Sakura, Ino, Hinata, and Neji.
"Matsuri, are you alright?" Temari questioned.
"Yes," Matsuri nodded. "But, Gaara needs help."
"You guys look after her," Naruto ordered standing. "I'll help Gaara."
He teleported to Gaara who glared at him then grinned wickedly and turned back to Seimei. Then, the sand fell off of him leaving him as himself.
"Now that you're you again," Naruto grinned. "Save me my swords if you can."
Gaara smirked and rolled his eyes then slammed his hands into the ground. Naruto and the other ninja leapt to the top of the valley they were in and the walls and ground turned into sand, giving Gaara the instant advantage. Gaara then held his hand up, gathering chakra and forming a spear.
"Extreme Tempered Ultimate Attack, Shukaku's Pike!" Gaara said hurling the spear through the face of the armor, destroying it but leaving all three swords intact.
Then, Gaara slammed both hands into the ground.
"Giant Sand Burial!" Gaara said as a massive tsunami of sand shot out swallowing Seimei and the swords and grinding Seimei into dust.
"Gaara!" Naruto complained. "My swords!"
Gaara laughed for a moment before the three swords rose out of the ground beside him, their blades sticking into the ground.
"As thanks for saving me," Gaara grinned. "All yours."
"Nice," Naruto grinned. "I knew you were awesome for a reason."
Gaara grinned and turned toward them just in time for Matsuri to throw her arms around him.
"I'm so glad you're okay!" Matsuri sobbed.
"I should be saying that to you," Gaara stated unsure of whether to smile or pass out.
Naruto grinned as Gaara simply stood there while Matsuri hugged him. He walked over and retrieved the three swords, using chakra to wrap the middle blade of the Garian Sword around his waist with the other two blades extending down his arms where he could then use them as if they were attached to his arms. Then, he created a clone to carry the other two.
"We should get back," Naruto stated. "Apparently I have one more mission to do."
They all nodded and the Leaf Village ninja said their goodbyes to the others before heading home. If nothing else, the next mission would be eventful.
