Explain
"None of you have brought me any useful information...again," Pein, the one with spiky hair and rippled eyes growled. "In fact, the only one here that has any information for me is Danzo. Kisame, you are being dragged along by Danzo. You had better hope you are as skilled as you claim to be or I will be sending Hidan after you. Dismissed."
With that, he and Konan vanished and the others followed suit leaving Danzo and Kisame alone in the hideout.
"I'm glad he likes you," Kisame stated.
Danzo nodded as the two of them left to find some more Missing Nin for the rewards.
Pein opened his eyes and saw Konan staring at him suspiciously.
"What?" He asked.
"Why haven't you killed Danzo yet?" Konan demanded. "You know full well what he did. Why is he still alive?"
"Because he is useful, for the moment," Pein stated. "He knows about Konoha's defenses and how to get past them. He is also one of our only two excluding myself that has the raw power necessary to incapacitate a target without alerting too much attention. Fear not. As soon as he has served his purpose, I will tear him to shreds myself. Or perhaps I will simply have several Jinchuriki grouped together and send Danzo after them. Either way, when he dies, you will have a front row seat. I can promise you that he will die."
"And what if he doesn't?" Konan questioned. "What if he beats the Jinchuriki?"
"I will simply set my pets against him," Pein stated. "Even he cannot kill that one."
"True," Konan sighed. "Alright. But I want him dead, soon."
Pein nodded and Konan left. He turned back to the balcony in front of him as lightning flashed.
"He will die," Pein muttered to himself. "Oh yes. Danzo will die. Of that, we can be sure. Right...Naruto? Sasuke?"
