I do not own Naruto Shippuden or any of the characters. This movie was always very boring so I'm skipping a good portion.
Failed Utopia
"This ship," Naruto breathed staring at the wreckage of the ship that had attacked then fled the Land of Wind.
Temujin, who Naruto had grown to respect after traveling with the caravan then meeting Haido, was looking around for anything that could have destroyed the ship.
"Come on," Naruto ordered walking toward the ship. "The holes look like they came from inside."
"True," Temujin nodded.
That wasn't entirely accurate, though. It looked like Gaara had ripped the entire top half of the ship off then it had exploded. Naruto planned to find out why that was necessary. But first he had to see if Temujin knew the ship. If he did, Naruto was right after all.
The two of them walked to the ship, distrust growing inside of Naruto for Temujin rapidly. Finally coming to a room where several smashed spheres or glass were spread around the room with bodies spread amongst them. Naruto couldn't tell if they were alive or dead but they all seemed dead. Temujin walked into the room and Naruto followed slowly.
"Hold on!" Naruto snapped finally. "What is this? Why is this ship here? Why was it attacking?"
Just then, Kankuro's first puppet shot out of the darkness wrapping its arms around a surprised Temujin.
"Welcome back Naruto," Kankuro greeted. "You missed the action."
"I thought they left," Naruto stated.
"So did we," Kankuro admitted. "A lot of people died because of that."
"How much was destroyed?" Naruto questioned.
"Several coastal villages," Kankuro stated. "Hundreds of people, probably more."
"Care to explain Temujin?" Naruto questioned.
"Noble sacrifices for the greater good," Temujin stated.
"You mean murder for your flawed and horrible utopia," Naruto stated. "I'm not letting it happen."
"Look, sorry to interrupt but I'm going to take him out now," Kankuro stated holding his hand out.
"Stay out of this, he's mine!" Naruto shouted. "And this time you die."
Suddenly, the mark Naruto had seen on Temujin's chest began to glow through his armor and he raised his arms throwing the puppet off then kicked it into a wall. Then, he drew his sword and pointed it at Naruto.
"Those who stand in our way will be eliminated," Temujin stated.
"Heh, yeah whatever," Kankuro grinned raising his hand then freezing and looking behind him.
There was a female in armor not unlike Temujin's own minus the helmet behind him in the doorway. Her armor looked either red or a faded maroon and her hime-style hair was brown and messy in the back.
"Temujin, you know you're not supposed to be here you idiot," she spat. "Your primary duty is scouting!"
"This one is just acting as a lookout," another female with faded green armor and a similar hair cut but with no bangs and straightened in the back stated stepping out from behind the first. "There's another unit waiting nearby."
"Yes but..." Temujin began but stopped.
"What's got you so worked up?" the second asked.
"We're splitting before things get ugly around here," the first stated.
Just then, two walls of sand appeared around the two and slammed together, seeming to crush them. A moment later, they both appeared over Gaara flying away from the sand.
"Not so fast!" Gaara shouted chasing them.
"Nice of you to finally show up," Kankuro stated following his brother.
"Oh alright, I guess we can play," the first female sneered.
"You fellas should learn when to walk away," the second warned.
They both leapt up out of the room as a massive wall of sand destroyed the two pipes they had been standing on. Gaara and Kankuro chased them.
"This is crazy," Naruto stated. "What on earth are you thinking?"
"I already told you didn't I?" Temujin questioned. "If one hopes to achieve a goal, certain sacrifices must be made."
"Look around you!" Naruto shouted. "Aren't these your friends lying here?"
"They are," Temujin nodded. "And like me they were willing to give everything to bring about our dream of utopia."
"Spare me will you?" Naruto spat. "If they are your friends you sure don't act like it."
Elsewhere, Gaara and the first woman stood facing each other in a ruined hallway as more rubble fell around them.
"I hope you know what you're getting into," the woman cautioned.
"Oh I can handle it," Gaara promised. "Come."
"Sure," the woman grinned putting her hands together over her head and then pulling them away with lightning connecting them.
Gaara watched unimpressed as the woman moved her hands out to the sides, the lightning shooting out to the various metal things in the hallway.
"Tornado Lightning!" the woman said putting her hands together again and raising them, sending lightning tearing through the ground at Gaara.
When it reached him, it hit his sand then stopped and a second blast hit the sand again almost instantly, followed by another and another and so on for a moment before the woman blasted the ceiling over Gaara, dropping rubble at him. She began cartwheeling and flipping toward him but now it was his turn.
"Sand Shower!" Gaara said launching hundreds of tiny balls of sand at her.
For a moment she avoided them, somehow, before holding her hands out and forming a lightning shield in front of her, blocking the attack. then, she leaned forward and the shield shrunk as a lightning bolt shot out of the center at Gaara. it neutralized his attack but his face remained calm.
"What's the matter, don't you want to play?" the girl questioned slamming her hand into the ground and sending a shock wave at Gaara.
When it reached him, it flashed below him for a second before fading and the woman smashed down through his now weakened shield. Gaara sent sand at her but she formed a sphere of lightning around her hand and moved to punch him.
"Thunder Saber!" She yelled as her first hit the sand.
The explosion destroyed Gaara's shield and the hallway around them, throwing Gaara through the wall and into the wall opposite the woman in the next room. She stepped through the hole in the wall and grinned.
"That was easy," she snorted but her smile faded as sand shot out of the dust Gaara had kicked up and wrapped around her arms and legs.
"Sand Burial!" Gaara said holding his hand out then closing it.
Sand shot up and covered the woman but before it could explode, lightning shot out of it, destroying it and revealing the woman with the right side of her body mutated into that of an ape.
"I'm not through with you yet," she stated as the rest began to change.
"So you can increase your strength by altering the structure of your body," Gaara mused.
"You got it," she stated as the change finished, the lightning that had briefly shot off her body disappearing. "Let's finish this."
She sprinted forward, each step shaking the ship. As she approached, Gaara sent several blasts of sand at her but a sphere of lightning now encased her, protecting her.
"Useless," she laughed. "That's not gonna work against my plasma ball."
Gaara sent one last attack as he leapt into the air and she smashed her fist into the ground where he had been, also hitting him and launching him downward into a pipe below them. She dropped down next to him and sighed.
"Pathetic," she sighed walking forward. "Well that takes care of that."
Suddenly, Gaara's face cracked and a piece fell off, revealing him to be hollow.
"First time facing a shinobi?" Gaara questioned from behind her.
"What?" She questioned. "You're still alive?"
Gaara held his hands out, his chakra making his clothes and hair blow as if from wind. Then he put them together, content to end the fight.
"Blowing Sand Tsunami!" Gaara said as a massive wave of Sand exploded into the room then encasing the entire ship, dragging her outside.
Gaara landed on top of the sand just as the sand to his right began to rise, revealing her.
"All of your sand is worthless against my electricity kid," she laughed.
"Provided you still have it," Gaara muttered as she darted forward.
"You're no match for me!" She shouted charging toward her.
"Think so huh?" Gaara questioned. "Sand Lightning Rod!"
Dozens of large balls of sand streaked into the air then rained down around her in spears before growing two extra points at the tops.
Suddenly, all of the electricity in and around the woman began to shoot out of her and into the ground through the lightning rods. She screamed and the other woman appeared on the side of the ship to see what was happening.
"Giant Sand Burial!" Gaara said setting his hands on the ground as massive columns of sand shot up around her before crashing down on top of her then finally compressing into a massive crater, killing her.
Just then, Naruto and Temujin exploded out of the bottom of the ship slashing at each other with their swords as Kankuro fired several kunai at the last woman.
"You're not leaving are ya?" Kankuro questioned.
"Should have walked when you had the chance sweetie," she sneered as he threw a few more.
She leapt over them and morphed into a human-bat hybrid.
"What happened to her?" Kankuro muttered as she exhaled a pink smoke at him, flying away.
"Nice trick," He smirked. "Hey, we're not through yet!"
He sprinted forward, falling off the ledge since he didn't see the edge and she covered Naruto and Temujin as well.
"Temujin, withdraw!" she ordered.
Temujin leapt into the air, catching her foot as she flew past and she flew them both away. Just as the smoke cleared, the piece of metal Kankuro was hanging onto broke free and he crashed down in the water below. Naruto sighed and looked up to see the two of them disappear over the horizon.
"Run you bastard," Naruto growled. "The next time we meet, I'm going to kill you, and that bastard Haido. that, I swear."
