I do not own Naruto Shippuden or any of the characters. I'm skipping Jiraiya and Pein's fight, just so you're aware. I know, I know, I love that fight too but I want to focus on mostly Sasuke, Naruto, and scattered others, POV. Jiraiya won't be one of them.

An Explosion

Sasuke stepped into the clearing while the others hung back. They all knew Deidara could beat them all if they weren't careful while Sasuke, and Sasuke alone, could destroy Deidara in a matter of minutes.

"Welcome," Deidara sneered. "I've been waiting for you. I was going to kill Orochimaru but you had to go and steal him from me."

"Where is Danzo?" Sasuke demanded.

"Sorry, I'm not telling you," Deidara sneered. "He'll come for those eyes of yours soon enough. Of course, I'll kill him soon anyway. I hate those Sharringan."

"Tell me," Sasuke ordered. "And I'll make your death swift."

"Nope," Deidara grinned as Tobi stepped between the two.

"If you want to get to Deidara you'll have to go through me!" Tobi stated.

Sasuke drew his chokuto and sprinted forward, slashing Tobi across the stomach before swinging at Deidara. Deidara dodged the slash just as Tobi jumped up and Sasuke looking at him in shock.

"I'm okay Deidara!" Tobi called out.

Deidara laughed and then held his hands out, each one belching several clay spiders. They all scurried toward Sasuke who swung his Fire Sword and melted them all, only for them to reform and leap at him. He dodged out of the way then began running as they began to explode. After a moment, he charged forward and slashed at Deidara who leapt back only to be chased by a wall of flame. After a second, he leapt into the air, a clay bird appearing below him and the bird flew over the wall, barely making it. The bird lowered itself to the ground as Sasuke put his Fire Sword away and drew his chokuto. Deidara grinned and his hands belched out two globs of clay. He formed a few hand signs and the clay globs, that Sasuke noticed were attached to Deidara by a clay cord each, grew into two deformed humanoids. The two charged forward and Sasuke began to fight them, cutting pieces off only for a new cord to grow off of the original and attack to the lost pieces, bring them to life as well. After a few minutes, the only things still attacking him were the size of his foot. Finally they began leaping at him and exploding, well over three dozen in total and Sasuke was forced to run yet again, this time moving through the trees. After a time, the pieces attached themselves to him and exploded. Just as Deidara began to cheer, Sasuke appeared behind him and punched him, sending him flying.

"I'll ask again, where is Danzo?" Sasuke demanded.

Deidara stood as his bird dive bombed Sasuke, blowing a massive crater in the ground. Sasuke avoided the blast and stood just as Deidara finished a massive clay dragon and climbed on, flying into the air.

"Can't reach me now can you?" Deidara sneered hovering about four meters away.

Sasuke held his hand up and his Chidori Spear shot out and up at Deidara. He instantly had his dragon rise up as fast as it could, just barely getting out of range before the Chidori Spear stopped.

"Five meters," Deidara muttered. "Excellent. Now you die!"

Deidara's dragon suddenly lost a foot of its tail which it then spit out as a miniature dragon that flew directly at Sasuke. Sasuke entered his Curse Mark Level Two form and jumped into the air, taking flight as the mini dragon shot under him.

"Chidori Senbon!" Sasuke said firing a few dozen at the dragon.

It flew between the Senbon, somehow, before flying at Sasuke. After a moment, he landed then took off again as it crashed down, exploding and sending him flipping through the air. After a couple of minutes, the dragon Deidara was on landed and coughed up several dozen spherical objects that Tobi ran over to, lifting one.

Then, the dragon took off again and fired another dragon. Sasuke landed, jumping over the dragon as it passed. After a few minutes, Sasuke leapt into the air again but as he landed, his foot sunk. He saw that the spheres of clay were gone and realized what they were. The mine below his foot exploded and he just barely managed to avoid it as the dragon shot toward him. A moment later, he was covered in a massive fireball. When it cleared, his left wing and sword both landed a ways away, lightning still running through the sword's blade. Sasuke struggled to stay in the air for a moment before landing on the ground between to mines, it would seem, as nothing exploded. A moment later, another dragon flew down at him. He summoned a massive white snake that shielded him from the blast then he looked up at Deidara and grinned.

"Don't look at me like that," Deidara growled. "I hate those eyes. Fine. I know true art is an explosion, but I'll settle for this. Just this once."

He had his hands form a massive ball of clay then dropped it and it turned into a massive version of himself which then began to expand.

"Talk about an over-inflated ego," Sasuke snorted before turning and running as the massive Deidara dissolved. Then, his own body began to dissolve.

"Yes!" Deidara cheered. "I got him!"

"Don't be so sure!" Sasuke shouted from below.

Deidara looked down and saw Sasuke jump off of the hilt of his chokuto and extend his Chidori Spear, removing one of the dragon's wings while swinging his Fire Sword. The flames enveloped the dragon for a moment before it exploded into a massive fireball. The burning chunks that remained rained down on the mines causing them all to explode too. Sasuke, having escaped the blast with his chokuto, watched as Deidara shot out of the smoke on the back of a clay bird.

"Son of a bitch!" Deidara shouted looking around for him.

"Who are you looking for?" Sasuke questioned driving a Chidori through Deidara's chest. "You lose."

"Not quite," Deidara sneered as he rose from his clay bird while the Deidara Sasuke had killed turned white and began to expand, dragging Sasuke into it. "You lose Sasuke. Enjoy."

Deidara jumped down and sprinted away. After a few minutes, the clone disintegrated and the bird exploded. A moment later, Sasuke flew out of the smoke, left wing replaced by snakes. Lightning raced across his body but after a moment, he appeared in front of a surprised Deidara and punched him, launching him backward.

"I'll ask one last time," Sasuke growled. "Where is Danzo?"

"How did you survive!?" Deidara demanded.

"I saw that every hand sign you formed for your jutsus were Earth Style," Sasuke stated. "Your jutsu is weak against Lightning. As for that special trap you tried to use, I can see chakra as color. I knew that the attack was microscopic bombs that were to be inhaled. That last Chidori that his me was to deactivate them. Not to attack you. I saw through your jutsu the first time."

"I see," Deidara smirked before beginning to laugh. "Then it's time for my ultimate jutsu! C0!"

He ripped his shirt off and pulled out the last of his explosive clay. There was a line on his chest and once he had unstitched it, it opened into another mouth. Deidara shoved the clay into the mouth and it began to chew and kneed the chakra as his body turned translucent with the exception of black veins spread through out his body and his hair. The mouth was in a black face with two white dots for eyes.

"This is my ultimate jutsu!" Deidara laughed as Sasuke backed away. "It can't be escaped. It will cover ten kilometers! I will become true art! Because true art, is an explosion!"

As he said this, the veins condensed into the black face, forming a sphere that then began to crack, blinding white light spilling through.

"Damn!" Sasuke swore.

Several miles away, Suigetsu looked over as a massive column of chakra shot into the air forming one massive spike with two others branching off the sides. He looked down at a scroll as the snake on it disappeared. He instantly unrolled it and but his thumb wiping his blood across it and summoning Manda, who was no more than a burnt husk, barely alive. Sasuke stumbled out of the snake's mouth, barley alive and Manda glared down at him.

"Damn you Sasuke," Manda swore. "You killed me! You used me! Damn...you!"

Then, the snake was still and Sasuke sighed.

"You earned it," Sasuke stated. "Freak. Suigetsu, you'll have to help me walk. We're going to stop in the next town while I rest."

Suigetsu nodded and helped him up and together the four of them, now officially called Hebi, left to find someplace to stay.

Read and review. Sorry this was so short and...sucky. My computer couldn't load the fight episodes so I did it off memory, while tired. Again, sorry. the next big fight, in two or three chapters, will be much better.
