Eleven and Eight
Sasuke stopped, the others stopping behind him as Kisame walked forward, smiling confidently.
"Kisame," Suigetsu growled before grinning. "I'll handle him. You guys go get Danzo."
"No," Kisame sneered. "Sasuke alone, will be fighting Danzo. The rest of you will wait here."
"Good," Sasuke spoke up smiling. "This fight will be destructive. Suigetsu, you will be keeping Kisame busy so he can't intervene if summoned."
"Gladly," Suigetsu grinned.
Sasuke nodded and jumped over Kisame, landing in a dead sprint toward the abandoned Uchiha hideout that Danzo waited in. After a few minutes, he landed in front of the door and walked calmly forward through the door. The Hideout had one main room just inside the door and two hallways leaving it leading to bedrooms, a courtyard, and several armories. Danzo sat in a throne directly opposite the door, his right arm visible, white and wrinkled with ten Sharingan embedded in it at various points and his right eye uncovered, revealing another Sharingan that Sasuke suspected was Shisui's. Danzo stood, a katana dropping from his sleeve into his hand and Sasuke drew his chokuto. Danzo charged forward, slashing at Sasuke but Sasuke blocked it then jumped and kicked him away putting his chokuto away before taking a stance with his feet spread, his left side forward, with his hands over the inside of the opposite wrist. He wore two bracers with seals for ninja tools. Just as soon he was in the position, the seals released a pair of shuriken that Sasuke hurled at Danzo who was still airborne. Danzo flipped over slashing the first pair of shuriken out of the air before leaping over another pair. Sasuke, who was moving in a blur hurling hundreds of shuriken at Danzo, grinned as he channeled his lightning chakra into one and hurled it just to the left while sending for at Danzo and just to the right, forcing Danzo to go left. The moment he did, the lightning-charged shuriken tore through his chest, then the wall behind him.
Instead of dying, he turned transparent and faded then reappeared behind Sasuke, catching him by the throat.
"How..." Sasuke struggled to speak.
"And now, this ridiculous charade is over," Danzo stated driving his katana forward.
Just before it hit, Danzo suddenly found himself sitting in his throne again and blinked in surprise.
"What...how..." Danzo began but Sasuke merely chuckled.
"When one looks another in the eye, they do not look at both eyes, only one at a time," Sasuke began. "While it is hard not to look at your right eye and think of Shisui, when I look you in the left eye, I see merely an eye, completely susceptible to genjutsu, especially when it comes from not one but two Sharingan at once."
"I see," Danzo nodded before pulling the bandages around his head down over his left eye. "Problem solved. Now, shall we begin?"
Sasuke grinned and began hurling shuriken again, as he had for a moment before using his genjutsu. This time, Danzo began to block Sasuke's shuriken with his own, producing them from inside his cloak's sleeves. As Sasuke came up to the last two Shuriken he had, he produced and hurled one at Danzo the second, hidden in the shadow of the first, where Danzo couldn't see it.
Fuma Shuriken!? Danzo thought ducking to avoid the one he could see. Two!? Clever bastard!
He dropped to his hands and pushed off the ground, clearing the bottom shuriken while staying below the top one. Sasuke grinned and as the two got behind Danzo, Sasuke yanked on a wire he had attached to the two as Danzo's eyes widened. The two shuriken broke into pieces, all of the pieces flying back at Danzo. Miraculously, he avoided most, except one of the blades that drove itself into his leg.
"Impressive," Danzo groaned standing. "But one out of over twenty isn't enough."
"Wanna bet?" Sasuke grinned moving the wire attached to the blade to his mouth and making a hand seal. "Dragon Flame Jutsu!"
Damn! Danzo cursed in his head as he struggled to pull the blade out.
After a moment of failing, the blade having managed to embed itself in his femur, the flames engulfed Danzo who screamed in pain for a moment before collapsing. Sasuke smirked and turned away from him to see Danzo appear in front of the door just as the blade hit the ground with a loud clang.
"Impossible," Sasuke growled. "How? You did that in the genjutsu too!"
"Indeed," Danzo nodded. "Impressive isn't it? Now, shall we continue, or, would you like to talk some more?"
Sasuke glanced down at Danzo's leg and saw that it was still wounded and he was favoring it a lot. Then, he grinned.
"Alright then," Sasuke grinned forming several hand seals. "Fire Style, Fire Ball Jutsu!"
He fired the blast at Danzo who leapt into the air. The moment he did, Sasuke ended his jutsu and created a Chidori, leaping into the air at Danzo.
Damn, Danzo thought. He noticed my leg. Fine, come get me!
Danzo rolled in mid air, making Sasuke blast the ceiling instead. Then, Danzo shot out through the hole, firing a massive blast of wind back at Sasuke. After a moment, it lit on fire and shot at Danzo. Before he could react, he was, again, engulfed in flame, only to reappear a distance away as Sasuke landed beside the smoking hole, looking up at the flames that were just dying out in the air.
Impossible, what is he, teleporting? Sasuke thought glaring at Danzo, half of his own body mutated into his Curse Mark Level Two form to shield himself as he leapt through the flames.
That wing, Danzo thought. Orochimaru. Of course, Sasuke was to be his host.
Both of them began to make hand seals before firing Fire Ball Jutsus at each other. After a moment, Sasuke's began to push Danzo's back. After a moment, Danzo leapt into the air over the flames just as Naruto smashed a Rasengan into his back. The explosion blasted him away but he faded before he could land. Then, he reappeared on top of the shortest of three large, wall-like pillars on top of the Hideout, this time with a massive hole in the back of his cloak, which his pulled off and threw away, revealing black pants, and no shirt, allowing them to see that the entire right side of his torso was the same as his arm, white and wrinkled, not looking like real skin, but without the Sharingan.
"What the..." Naruto muttered landing beside Sasuke who was beginning to breath hard.
"He does that," Sasuke stated, unamused. "Points for getting his cloak though. Any ideas what it is?"
"Izanagi," Itachi stated appearing behind Danzo and driving his sword through his chest.
Again Danzo vanished, reappearing off to one side, away from all three of them.
"In normal speech please," Naruto requested.
"It's a type of genjutsu that works by erasing all damage done to the user from the point that it is active, to the point that it ends, usually about ten seconds later," Itachi stated. "It allows him to survive fatal wounds without a scratch but at the cost of one Sharingan going blind, permanently. It's hard to explain specifically but, there is a limit to how many times he can use it."
Sasuke looked at Danzo's arm and saw that three eyes had closed, leaving seven open, not counting Shisui's eye.
"So, we just have to kill him eleven times?" Sasuke questioned.
"Twelve, if he sacrifices Shisui's," Naruto pointed out. "Starting now, I'll take the first turn."
"No, Naruto," Itachi said shaking his head. "We'll attack together. Otherwise, he'll hold his own and we'll all run out of chakra. You do remember that he has food pills right?"
"Relax," Naruto grinned. "I'll take him out at least five times before I run out of steam."
"Very well then," Itachi sighed. "Do it."
Naruto grinned and created his Three Clone Squad who drew their weapons and charged. Danzo growled in frustration and drew his sword sprinting forward. When the two Garian Sword dragons shot toward him, he leapt over them, spinning and decapitating the clone with the Rasengans, both of which exploded. Danzo reappeared a distance away, instantly sprinting forward. Just as he did, hundreds of clones shot out of the ground, grabbing him and holding him still as one of the original three that remained shot toward him, Temujin's Sword held out in front of him at ten feet long and with green chakra rolling off of it.
"Raging Thunder!" the Naruto shouted.
"Dragon Flame Jutsu!" Danzo shouted lighting all of the clones holding him and himself on fire.
He broke free less than a second before the sword reached him, leaping to the side but the chakra still blasted him, launching him sideways into another clone who held a Rasengan ready.
"Rasengan!" The clone shouted.
SHIT! Danzo thought just as the Rasengan hit his face and exploded.
A moment later, Danzo reappeared on top of the wall where Itachi had stabbed him, breathing hard but alive. he was badly burned but the damaged from both Naruto's Raging Thunder and the Rasengan was gone.
"That was fifteen seconds," Sasuke stated.
"That arm isn't his natural one," Itachi stated. "It must extend the period of time he can use his Izanagi."
"I'm impressed," Danzo stated pulling out a food pill and eating it Naruto and Itachi watching carefully. "But you can't defeat me, even with your massive chakra reserves."
Naruto smirked and sprinted forward. Danzo had exactly five pills left when Naruto placed his "special" one in it. Itachi had placed both of his already as well so Danzo should now have seven, only four of which were safe.
Danzo charged to meet Naruto and both stopped, forming hand seals.
"Wind Style, Vacuum Spheres!" Danzo shouted before firing his.
"Wind Style, Air Bullets!" Naruto grinned, firing his own.
When they met, they exploded into a massive cloud of dust, cancelling out, before Naruto's other jutsu shot out at Danzo.
"Solid Blanks!" Naruto said as a dozen, near-see-through spheres of air shot out of the dust, slamming into Danzo and smashing him into the wall without breaking the skin, like his Air Bullets could.
"Impressive," Danzo growled standing and pulling out another food pill, swallowing it.
"Not done yet," Naruto grinned making more clones who all began to make hand seals before they all shouted, "Ninja Art, Needle Senbon!"
Hundreds of thousands of hair senbon shot into the air from the five clones before raining down at Danzo in a massive cloud far too big to dodge.
"Wind Style, Vacuum Bomb!" Danzo shouted before firing a massive sphere of wind up at the hair senbon.
It exploded, scattering them just as Naruto appeared in front of him with a Wind Sword.
"Die!" Naruto shouted hurling it at Danzo's head.
It tore through, splattering Danzo's blood across the ground before Danzo faded and reappeared a distance away, breathing hard but already making hand seals.
"Summoning Jutsu!" Danzo shouted wiping some blood from his lip and slamming his hand down.
Suddenly, a massive furry elephant like creature with bandages around his head and two metal splints on the base of his trunk appeared. Danzo leapt over Naruto, landing opposite him as the creature began to inhale, the force of that along nearly pulling Naruto in.
"Wind Style, Great Breakthrough!" Danzo shouted blasting Naruto.
Naruto flew toward the creature but stopped when Itachi launched a fireball down it's throat. The Wind Style Jutsus enhanced it and after a moment of his insides burning, the creature disappeared, Naruto landing on his feet and glaring at Danzo who was reaching for more food pills.
"Looks like you're still not adjusted to that Sharingan's power drain," Naruto grinned. "It's taking a lot of chakra for you to fight."
Danzo ate two pills and sighed glaring at Naruto and Itachi, who was now in front of Naruto.
"One safe one left," Itachi whispered. "I'll handle him now."
Naruto nodded and stood.
"Five Sharingan," Naruto stated. "Good luck."
"Thanks," Itachi stated. "But I'm here to protect Sasuke, not for revenge like the two of you. I don't need luck for this."
Itachi closed his right eye and Danzo crouched, a moment later, Itachi's left eye transformed into his Mangekyo Sharingan.
"Come and get me," Itachi ordered.
"Mangekyo Sharingan?" Danzo breathed. "I see. I'll be taking those eyes of yours. I like them."
Itachi drew his katana and sprinted forward, slashing at Danzo who blocked it with his own sword. After a moment, Itachi channeled his chakra through it, the blade instantly cutting through Danzo's sword before moving toward his head. Danzo leaned out of the way just as Itachi's other hand drove a kunai into the other side of his head. Danzo vanished and reappeared a distance away as Itachi lowered his sword and pointed at him.
"You cannot escape me," Itachi stated and Naruto grinned, knowing what was coming.
Sure enough, a moment later, Danzo went rigid and Itachi lowered his hand.
"Even the Sharingan can't break you out of that genjutsu," Sasuke said from experience. "Shisui used to get so mad because Itachi would hit him with that one straight out of the gate."
"Sucks to be Danzo," Naruto stated. "No control, no Izanagi."
Itachi walked forward and raised his sword, driving it downward, but just as he did, Danzo vanished, reappearing directly behind him and blasting him in the back with four Vacuum Spheres.
"ITACHI!" Sasuke shouted as Itachi stumbled away, turning around and blocking a slash from Danzo's Wind Blade, only for his katana to break and the Wind Blade to cut a gash in his shoulder.
"H...How?" Itachi questioned, voice weak, chakra nearly gone from his wounds.
"Izanagi, of course," Danzo grinned. "I can use it on one Sharingan for sixty seconds. I am glad I did."
Itachi closed his eyes sighing before blood began to roll down his right cheek.
"Alright then," Itachi sighed. "Amaterasu!"
Black flames burst into life on Danzo's chest and he screamed in surprise and pain, falling backward before vanishing and reappearing behind Naruto, kicking him away.
"You annoy me," Danzo growled pulling out another food pill and eating it.
"It's a gift," Naruto grinned standing. "Itachi, you stay out of this. I'll finish Danzo with Sasuke."
Sasuke nodded and walked over to Naruto holding his hand out.
"I always wondered what would happen if we did this," Sasuke grinned.
"Time to find out," Naruto grinned.
They channeled their chakra together and formed a Rasengan that instantly lit up with lighting and Danzo paled.
I can't let that hit me. Danzo thought forming hand seals. I only have two more-
His thoughts stopped as Naruto appeared in front of him, thrusting the Chidori Rasengan into his stomach. First, the Chidori cut into Danzo's stomach while the Rasengan spun his body around it, wrapping his body around the Rasengan like yarn tied to a drill, until his head and feet were on the sides of it, whipping around it like the blades of Naruto's Rasenshuriken. Then, the Rasengan exploded, blowing Danzo's body to pieces. Naruto landed beside Itachi and grinned reaching toward his shoulder to heal him.
He stopped when Danzo grabbed him by the throat, driving a Wind Blade through his stomach. Then, he kicked Itachi into one of the three walls and then threw Naruto after him, Naruto crashing into Itachi before the two slid to the ground.
"I've had enough," Danzo growled turning toward Sasuke as Shisui's Sharingan, one of the only two he had left, opened into its Mangekyo form. "Amaterasu!"
Sasuke's eyes widened as he stumbled backward, spinning as black flamed sprung to life, instantly coating his wing. Sasuke collapsed screaming in pain for a couple of seconds before the fires went out, leaving nothing but a burned hole in the ceiling.
"Impressive," Danzo growled. "You used Orochimaru's substitution, leaving your old skin to burn. I'm impressed. But that requires a lot of chakra. You're almost out."
"Try me," Sasuke growled from below, back in the room where his and Danzo's fight had started.
He entered his full Curse Mark Level Two Form, now devoid of wings since he had had to let his real wing burn. Once he was in the form, he began making hand seals and grinned, his Sharingan able to see Danzo's chakra through the roof, thanks to Shisui's Mangekyo Sharingan still being active.
"Fire Style, Dragon Flame Jutsu!" Sasuke shouted firing the first blast at Danzo, the flame taking the shape of a dragon head just before it exploded up out of the roof where Danzo had been, the Akatsuki member having leapt out of the way just in time to dodge it.
Three more followed, the last catching Danzo's right hand before they shot into the air leaving Danzo standing on the ceiling nearly unharmed. Just then, the ceiling began to collapse. Danzo leapt out of the way and when it stopped, he grinned down at Sasuke who was doubled over gasping for breath.
"That Amaterasu or yours," Sasuke panted. "It seems to have taken quite a lot out of you. Is your eye fighting you?"
Danzo glared down at Sasuke as Sasuke fell to one knee, his Curse Mark receding.
"The Sharingan can assess your chakra level," Danzo stated, voice quiet from his own exhaustion. "So stop bluffing. I know you're out of chakra."
"I'm not," Naruto groaned standing.
"No Naruto," Sasuke spoke up just as it began to rain, the heat from Sasuke's Fire Style Jutsus having formed storm clouds. "This is my turn. Don't interfere."
Naruto narrowed his eyes but nodded as Sasuke leapt up to the top of the highest wall, Danzo staring at him in confusion.
"It lasts only a moment, and can't be blocked, dodged or evaded, just like the Amaterasu," Sasuke stated summoning one of Naruto's kunai from the seal on his right wrist, where he had stashed it earlier after Naruto had given it to him, and throwing it into the wall beside him. "Even if you began to activate your Izanagi now, you could never get it fully active before the jutsu hits."
Naruto teleported to the kunai with Itachi and grinned down at Danzo.
"Goodbye," Naruto grinned.
"Look around," Sasuke ordered forming a Chidori.
Danzo did so and saw that the building was surrounded by Amaterasu, every level of the terraced mountain the hideout stood on was burning, the heat from it adding to the storm already present, the heat which Danzo only now noticed.
Impossible, Danzo thought. I only hit Sasuke with the Amaterasu!
"Confused?" Sasuke sneered. "You didn't notice the black flames light because you were distracted by my Dragon Flame Jutsu. Itachi had just enough chakra left for that, with Naruto supplying more as needed. Now, I will show you my ultimate jutsu. One that I created for the sole purpose of killing you. It take the power of the heavens, and directs it wherever I aim. Now, witness the face of your doom!"
He held his Chidori up and lightly lit up the sky in a continuously shifting spiderweb before focusing and forming a massive dragon out of pure lightning. Sasuke swung his hand downward and the dragon turned into a lightning bolt, shooting out of the sky at Danzo.
Too late! Danzo thought panicked.
The blast sent the Hideout flying into the air before raining back down in rubble, Naruto, Itachi, and Sasuke all landing in the middle of it and looking around for Danzo as Sasuke's Sharringan deactivated.
"Finally," Sasuke sighed falling to his knees as Naruto set Itachi down.
Before he could heal him, Danzo spoke.
"Is this, the death you had imagined for me then?" Danzo questioned appearing in front of them again.
Before anyone could react, he kicked Itachi and Sasuke away, grabbing Naruto by the throat, intending to get rid of the biggest threat first. Before he could, Naruto planted both feet in his face, launching him away. Sasuke stood, entering his Curse Mark Level Two form but the same purple pigmentation that Orochimaru had appeared around his left eye as his eye became yellow with a slit pupil and his other became his Sharringan. Suddenly, he doubled over, holding his left arm as if it was on fire. His hand drifted toward his seal just before his shoulder began to bulge and roil like something was fighting to escape. Naruto leapt over to him just as several massive white snakes began to explode out of his Cursed Seal, painfully. Knowing what it was, Naruto instantly set his hand against it as it shot skyward, spreading a seal to the tongue of each of the eight mouths.
Finally they left him fully, eight heads with eight massive, light grey spike-like tails behind them, all eight heads hissing and spitting at Danzo, Naruto, Sasuke, and Itachi. A half second later, Itachi, who recognized the snake, activated his final Mangekyo Sharingan power and a massive spectral form similar to that of a samurai made out of flames, of sorts, appeared around him, standing almost as tall as the snake with a spiral shield in its left hand. The snake turned toward it and hissed loudly, recognizing Itachi. Itachi began to walk forward, Naruto noticing that the snake was still partially attached to Sasuke, therefore taking him with it when it began to move forward to engage Itachi.
As it neared Itachi, his shroud's right arm, which split into two at the elbow, the lower one holding a Sake jar, produced a blade from said Sake jar that seemed to be made from flames, like the rest of it. The shroud itself was a dark orange, the shield and Sake jar were both red, but the blade glowed gold so brightly it hurt to look at.
The snake sent one head forward and Itachi easily removed it using the massive shroud's sword in an uppercut. The head, as Itachi had intended, flew into the air and fell to Danzo's right. The next three heads that the snake sent at once, were blocked by Itachi's shroud's shield, before he removed them, the heads crashing down around Danzo, forming a box, trapping him, as he didn't have the chakra to climb over them before two more heads, briefly wrapped around Itachi's shroud, flew through the air, one crashing down to Itachi's right and one crashing down on top of Danzo. The last head raised itself up, opening its mouth as Orochimaru began to slowly rise from its throat.
"Finally," Naruto grinned crouching and preparing his plan.
He had no intention of interfering with Itachi killing Orochimaru. He just wanted something of Orochimaru's. Orochimaru laughed for a moment before coughing once before a sword handle began to extend from his mouth. Naruto grinned and teleported to the seal in front of Orochimaru just as he began to reach for the sword. Naruto instantly grabbed it and wrenched it sideways, splitting Orochimaru's cheek open halfway to the back of his jaw bone before leaping away from Orochimaru before he could take back the sword.
Orochimaru didn't even have time to react to Naruto before Itachi drove his sword through Orochimaru's torso and basically everything but his head and neck. Orochimaru sneered but suddenly began to be dragged along the blade.
"No!" Orochimaru raged. "The Totsuka Blade? Itachi! You-"
Then, he and the rest of the snake, except the heads, shot into the Sake jar, being sealed away. As he left Sasuke, he disconnected painfully, Sasuke's skin seeming to stretch before snapping back into place. At the last second, a single small white snake dropped to the ground and shot toward a crack in the rubble before Naruto drove his new sword down through its head. Suddenly, Itachi fell to his knees coughing and choking up blood. Sasuke and Naruto watched in shock as Itachi pushed himself up and staggered toward them, barely able to stand. After a moment, he collapsed again as his shroud was reduced to just a skeleton. After a moment, he pushed himself up again, stumbling forward until he was in front of Sasuke.
"I'm...so proud of you...Sasuke," Itachi spoke, barely able to make a sound. "Please...let go...of your...hate...Live...for...something...better."
As he spoke he raised his hand and pressed two fingers to Sasuke's forehead. Then, he collapsed, falling forward as his shroud vanished. Naruto caught him and gently set him down as Sasuke fell to his knees sobbing. After a bit, he stopped and simply stared at Itachi. Naruto looked him in the eyes and saw that despite him being exhausted, they were Sharingan. Except, they were black with three red ellipses intersecting around his pupil. As soon as Naruto saw it, it returned to normal and Sasuke glanced up at him.
"We should get home," Naruto stated.
"Not me," Sasuke stated. "I need time to mourn my brother alone. I'll return eventually and then I will stay."
Naruto nodded and stood.
"I'll go help your team," Naruto stated. "They're welcome in Konoha as well as you."
Sasuke nodded and Naruto turned to leave then stopped. Danzo was standing in front of him.
"You again!?" Naruto growled jumping back and landing on the other side of Itachi beside Sasuke.
"I'm glad that Sasuke awakened his Mangekyo Sharingan," Danzo grinned as Sasuke stood glaring at him and grinning.
Danzo's left eye was now uncovered, as his right, Shisui's Sharingan, was now blind.
"You used Izanagi to avoid being crushed," Sasuke grinned. "Then this attack will kill you."
He drew his chokuto just as Danzo pulled out all three of Naruto's food pills, shoving them into his mouth and swallowing them as Naruto caught Sasuke's hand.
"Back up," Naruto instructed picking up Itachi and backing away with Sasuke.
"What's wrong?" Sasuke questioned as Danzo's eyes widened.
"Those three were my special recipe just for Danzo," Naruto stated. "I designed them to be fatal with only one. With three...if nothing else it should be entertaining."
Just then, Danzo shoved two fingers into his mouth to try to make himself puke up the food pills which Naruto had designed to feel like poison. At first, at least. The moment he began to puke, he discovered the true effects. As he began to puke, blood and pieces of melting flesh came with it. Sasuke and Naruto stared in shock, but with Naruto smirking, as Danzo wretched and struggled to breath, puke, scream, and beg for mercy all at once. Then, his stomach began to bubble and hiss before melting and revealing a hole. Where he had successfully puked, the stone began to hiss and melt. Finally, Danzo's neck began to melt, similar to his stomach in various spots leading up his neck before he fell backward, his body melting away a little at a time. Finally his clothes fell to the ground in a pile of melted Danzo before also beginning to melt.
"That, is truly revolting," Sasuke stated.
"That, was awesome," Naruto grinned. "I had only intended for him to eat one. Each was filled with a massively powerful acid enhancer. It starts out feeling like poison because I designed it for Danzo and knew he would know enough to make himself puke to be rid of poison. The moment he did, his enhanced stomach acid would go into his throat and destroy both his throat and wind pipe, killing him. With three, it was a lot more...potent, than I expected."
"I see," Sasuke nodded. "Go help Suigetsu and the others with Kisame. And take Itachi home to our family. Tell them that I will explain what happened when I get home."
Naruto nodded and left, a clone taking Itachi's body directly toward Konoha. After a few minutes, he reached a roof-top where Kisame and Suigetsu had been fighting. He landed in front of Kisame just in time to block a slash that would have hit Karin who was shielding Suigetsu who had lost his sword.
"That's about enough of that Kisame," Naruto grinned.
"That's Orochimaru's sword," Kisame noted. "You killed him."
Kisame stepped back putting his sword away just as Orochimaru's turned into a long green snake, wrapping around his arms.
"Who are you?" the snake hissed. "Where is Master Orochimaru?"
"He's dead," Naruto stated.
"You killed him and took me?" the snake questioned.
"I took you," Naruto stated. "He was already fatally wounded by one of my friends, who then died from using all of his chakra."
"I ssssee," it hissed. "It that cassssssse, I am yourssssss. I will serve you faithfully until such a time that you die."
"Cool," Naruto grinned. "I've never had a living sword before. Are you a poisonous snake?"
"I am," the snake nodded.
"Neat," Naruto grinned. "You're my new second favorite, right behind my Double-edged Swords. And them only because they let me use strong wind jutsus."
The snake grinned and nodded then coiled around his right arm, stooping so that his head was just below Naruto's shoulder and his tail just above the wrist but Naruto still had complete range of motion in his arm.
"That sword is awesome," Suigetsu smirked. "I want it."
"Sorry," Naruto grinned. "You've got one."
"Who are you anyway?" Suigetsu questioned.
"Naruto Uzumaki," Sasuke stated appearing beside him, eyes bloodshot both from crying and from chakra exhaustion. "Naruto, allow me to introduce Suigetsu Hozuki, Jugo, and Karin Uzumaki."
"Uzumaki?" Naruto questioned raising an eyebrow. "I didn't think there were any left besides me and Mom. Interesting. well, as I told Sasuke earlier. You are all welcome at Konoha. Not you Kisame. However, I am going to have to add the rule that you have to either be with Sasuke when you arrive or find someplace else to live."
"Why would you welcome us?" Suigetsu questioned. "One of us worked for Orochimaru,one of us is a psychopath who can't fight his urge to kill, and one of us plans to murder whoever he needs or wants to in order to get the Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Hidden Mist's swords."
"For one thing," Naruto said holding up a finger, because Sasuke is my friend, and they are yours.
"And two, you're not going to murder anyone or else you'll be single again," Karin interrupted.
"Three," Naruto spoke up raising an eyebrow at her, "Any Uzumaki is welcome among the rest of us, however you will be assigned a...babysitter for the first year. That won't be my call though. I can't help that. Agreeing will, however, keep you from being tortured."
The all stared at him for a moment before Karin shrugged.
"Sure," Karin shrugged. "Better deal than we'll get anywhere else."
"Then I'll see you when Sasuke returns," Naruto smiled. "In the mean time, I have to get going."
And with that, he turned and left, struggling to think of how to explain what had happened to Itachi to Minato and Tsunade, as well as how to explain to Fugaku and the other Uchiha that they would have to wait until Sasuke returned to get an explanation as to why his son was dead.
