War
"As the most recent person to be attempted to seal and survive, I will begin," Gaara spoke up.
"There sure has been a lot of changes among the Kage," the Tsuchikage, Onoki, interrupted. "To be Kazekage so young. You must feel very honored. But since you are still a little brat, perhaps you should just let the adults handle this."
"Lord Tsuchikage please do not interrupt," Mei Terumi, the Mizukage, spoke up. "Please continue Lord Kazekage."
"As I said, I am a Jinchuriki and was recently captured by the Akatsuki," Gaara stated. "I can personally confirm that the Akatsuki is a threat. I have repeatedly requested help in dealing with them but the only village to agree was the Hidden Leaf both with Lord Fourth and Lady Fifth. The rest of you refused every time."
"It must be very embarrassing to admit that you failed to defeat the Akatsuki and that you were bested and had to be saved," Onoki sneered. "That must really hurt your pride."
"Pride, honor," Gaara snorted. "Such old fashioned values."
"Old fashioned beliefs aside, I admit that my own village is a bit...behind, in the Akatsuki situation," Mei admitted. "However, we have not had a Jinchuriki for some time as a rogue faction lost our Tailed Beast in an attempt to attack the Hidden Leaf during the last war. However, losing a Tailed Beast is not necessarily cause for alarm."
"In order for a Tailed Beast to be controlled, they must grow and adjust to being with their Jinchuriki," Onoki stated. "Even then,it is difficult to control a Tailed Beast. Isn't that right...Lord Kazekage?"
"The only people to have controlled them are Madara Uchiha, the First Hokage Hashirama Senju, the Fourth Mizukage Yagura, and the Raikage's younger brother Killer B," Minato stated as the Raikage, A, curled his right hand into a fist and all of the bodyguards tensed.
A raised his hands and they all sprang into action.
"Enough of this bullsh-" A began but stopped when he found Orochimaru's sword resting on his collar and the rest of the bodyguards standing motionless between him and the other Kage,with his own two prepared to defend him and the others ready to defend him from them all.
"We are here to talk," Mifune sighed. "Please refrain from decapitating the Raikage."
"Naruto, Sasuke, Sakura, Fu, stand down," Minato ordered. "Naruto, please remove your sword from Lord Raikage's throat."
Naruto retracted his sword as Gaara ordered his siblings to stand down as well. The bodyguards all returned to their places and the Raikage sat down, glaring at Naruto.
"As I was saying," A continued. "The Akatsuki, is comprised of shinobi from each of your villages. In addition, each of your villages has utilized the Akatsuki in the past, in one form or another for your own benefit with the exception of mine. And, as for my brother, the Akatsuki recently attacked and nearly captured my brother. He survived only because he gave them a clone formed from the Eight-tails' chakra."
"Then they don't need him," Naruto interrupted stepping forward so he could be seen. "They don't need the whole Tailed-Beast so long as they have enough chakra to make a pseudo Jinchuriki. Making a clone gives that amount of chakra. The chakra, while not being used, regenerates. Even if separated from a whole."
"Will they still target B?" A questioned.
"Yes," Naruto nodded. "They will still target B."
"What exactly did you mean that we had all used the Akatsuki?" Gaara interrupted.
"Sunagakure used the Akatsuki, in the form of Orochimaru, to destroy the Leaf," A stated. "I don't know if he had left by then or not but as a result, your father, the Fourth Kazekage, is dead and Minato was placed in a coma for two years, resulting in the necessity to replace him with a drunken gambler-"
"Do not speak ill of Lady Tsunade," Minato warned. "She has done as much for our village as your own Third Raikage."
"And then there is my village," Mei spoke up knowing it was coming anyway. "There are suspicions that my predecessor, the Third Mizukage was being controlled my someone."
"You are all-" A began.
"Hold you tongue Raikage," Onoki began. "Your village continued to amass your military strength after the wars so we had to compensate by using the Akatsuki."
"True as that may be, there is still one pressing matter I should mention," Minato stated. "Earlier, we saved Fu from the Akatsuki. She was being attacked by Kisame Hoshigaki, a former member of the Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Hidden Mist Village...and an Akatsuki member wearing a mask. When our village was attacked by the Nine-tails last, the same day my son was born and became the Nine-tails Jinchuriki, it was released then controlled by a man wearing a mask similar to the one that was with Kisame. I believe that man was Madara Uchiha."
They all looked at him in surprise then fear.
"Madara Uchiha would be long dead," Onoki stated.
"He was stabbed and killed by Hashirama," Minato stated. "And yet, an Uchiha in a black robe with an orange mask did something only Madara could before. He took control of the Nine-tails through his Sharingan and set it against the hidden Leaf Village. Then, he fought me, got past the Hidden Leaf's security barrier several times without being detected, and was still around later to create the Akatsuki. He led it from the shadows and once the leaders abandoned the Akatsuki to aid our village-"
"You are working with known Akatsuki members now?" A bellowed. "And not just that, but the leaders!?"
"They are not Akatsuki anymore," Minato stated. "I can personally promise they hold no allegiance to Madara."
"You can promise that can you?" A growled. "So when they turn back to the Akatsuki with untold amounts of information and give the Akatsuki a winning edge, we can blame you."
"They won't," Naruto stated. "If they do, I'll kill them. But I know they won't because he was willing to give his life to bring back those he had hurt."
"Forgive me if I do't by this bullshit," A growled. "Madara is dead and the Leaf is aiding and abetting the Akatsuki!"
"Calm down Lord Raikage," Gaara spoke up. "If Naruto says that they are allies, they are allies. They would not be the first enemies to turn to his side, and decide to put their faith in him. I am one such person. He has a way of making those around him believe in them. Especially when he fights then and they should win, but he still beats you."
"I was always going to beat you Gaara," Naruto grinned. "But it was a lot of fun."
"I agree that you were always better than me," Gaara nodded. "However, you fought Shukaku as well, and you still won."
"I will trust the word of the Kazekage," Mei spoke up.
"As will I," Onoki stated.
"I won't," the Raikage stated.
"That is a shame," a calm voice suddenly spoke from above them.
They all looked up and saw a man in an Akatsuki robe standing on the ceiling. The robe fell toward the floor but stopped where it seemed to be attached to a belt on the inside allowing them all to see the orange spiral mask.
"You," Fu growled. "Madara, is it?"
"Very good," Madara smirked. "Yes. My name is Madara Uchiha. I have returned to finally take control of this world."
"Not happening," Naruto growled holding up Orochimaru's sword which extended toward and through his throat before anyone could react.
"I see," Madara sighed. "You must be Naruto Uzumaki. The sword addict who pretends to be a Toad Sage but who truly knows nothing about what it means to be a Sage."
"How are you not dead?" A demanded.
"Like this," Madara stated stepping sideways, the sword passing out of his body and leaving no mark.
"Impossible," Naruto growled.
"That's why I had so much trouble with him," Fu stated. "I couldn't hit him."
"He only solidifies when he attacks," Minato stated. "It's been a long time, Madara."
"Ah, Minato," Madara bowed. "May I have this dance?"
"The Five Kage need to leave," Naruto stated. "I'll handle Madara. Bodyguards, go with them. There are likely other Akatsuki here as well."
"Don't worry," Madara snorted standing. "I need no one else. But I'm not here to fight. I am only here to make a request. Give me the remaining four Jinchuriki."
"No," Minato and A growled together.
"Very well," Madara stated. "Then allow me to enlighten you. I posses an elite group of thirteen shinobi that make the Akatsuki look like push overs. Even if you five and every other shinobi in existence now or ever before attacked us at once, we would obliterate you all. This group of mine, will be taking the Jinchuriki by force, if necessary, and will then use them to create something that no one will be able to control, save for myself. With it, I will rule the world. As of now, I hereby declare war on the Five Great Shinobi Nations and all of the rest of the Shinobi World. You will all die."
And with that, his body began to spiral and disappear into a small vortex at his eye socket. Naruto looked around at everyone's shell-shocked face.
"Thirteen ninja, even with Madara, cannot defeat the entire world," A growled. "That's a pipe dream."
"Not if one of the Thirteen knows the Summoning Jutsu Reanimation, otherwise known as the Impure World Reincarnation," Sasuke stated.
"Orochimaru once used it to attack me with the First and Second Hokage," Minato stated.
"Orochimaru is dead," Onoki stated.
"But Kabuto isn't," Naruto stated. "He performed most of Orochimaru's experiments for him. He would know how to perform that jutsu."
"We will have to work together or we will all die," Gaara stated.
"Agreed," Onoki nodded.
"Deal," Mei stated.
"You might want to hear my terms first," Minato warned. "All known property of the Hidden Leaf must be returned."
"Like what?" Ao demanded.
"Like this," Naruto stated appearing behind him on a seal he had placed while fighting the false Akatsuki members and placing his hand over Ao's Byakugan.
"Absolutely not!" Mei refused. "That is non-negotiable."
"I agree," Gaara spoke up. "With Naruto. It was stolen from the Hidden Leaf. It is time it was returned. As a show of good faith."
"I need it," Ao stated.
"I'd give you a replacement eye," Naruto assured him. "Just not a stolen Byakugan."
"What then?" Mei questioned.
"Did you bring it?" Naruto grinned and Sasuke nodded.
"Among the Uchiha, one of the few that have Sharingan recently died," Sasuke stated. "It is unknown how, as of yet, but his eyes were given to me to do as I see fit as a thank you for giving up two years of my life to kill Danzo Shimura, a member of the Akatsuki that murdered several Uchiha for their eyes. The member was Shisui's father. If you willingly give Naruto your Byakugan, I will give you one of his Sharingan."
"What level are they?" Ao questioned.
"One," Sasuke stated. "If they were higher, they would be non-negotiable. Now, do we have a deal?"
"No," Ao growled. "I will not give up my Byakugan, stolen or otherwise, for a Level One Sharingan."
"Give it to him Ao," Mei ordered.
"What?" Ao blinked in surprise.
"Give him your Byakugan," Mei repeated. "And as a gift of good faith, keep the Sharingan."
Sasuke nodded and Ao jumped away from Naruto, landing in a corner of the room where he had some room to maneuver.
"No!" Ao growled. "This Byakugan is mine! I gave up my own right eye for it!"
"Ao, do not disobey me," Mei warned quietly.
"Listen to Lady Mizukage," Chojuro warned reaching for his sword.
"Lady Mizukage," Naruto spoke up. "May I?"
"Last warning Ao," Mei warned voice now icy. "Give them you Byakugan."
"It's mine!" Ao declared. "I deserve it!"
"Very well," Mei sighed. "Go ahead Naruto."
Naruto teleported to Ao, instantly ripping the Byakugan out and dropping the eye patch. He then teleported to Minato who gave him a disapproving look.
"YOU BASTARD!" Ao shrieked. "I should have sold you out sooner!"
"Excuse me?" Naruto growled.
Just then, Kisame stepped through the door with Kushina held by the hair with Samehada to her throat.
"Kushina!" Minato gasped.
"You betrayed us Ao," Naruto growled. "Most unwise."
"I'm in the Thirteen," Ao grinned. "It pays to be intelligent."
"Yes, about that," Kisame grinned as a Water Clone stepped through the door.
"What?" Ao gasped as the clone made a finger gun aimed at Ao and water appeared on the finger tip. "No!"
The water launched off the finger and exploded through Ao's chest killing him before the clone drew its sword and stepped forward.
"Now," the clone grinned. "All the Jinchuriki in this room will come with me. Should anyone refuse, pretty Kushina here, loses her head."
"You have no idea," Naruto grinned.
"Excuse me?" Kisame questioned seconds before Kushina brought her heel up into his groin.
He doubled over, as his clone fell away and Kushina drew a knife, cutting her hair as Gaara's sand shot up around Kisame.
"I think not," Kisame growled.
Just then, the sand fell away and the sword swelled until the bandages around it exploded.
"The sword absorbs chakra," Sasuke, Naruto, and Chojuro all warned at once.
"Naruto," Gaara spoke and Naruto noticed a tiny teleportation of sand floating behind Kisame.
"Let's try the new one," Naruto grinned drawing his Crow Blade and teleporting to the seal.
He drove the blade into Kisame's back then ripped it upward, sending blood spraying in a geyser up tot he twenty foot high ceiling. Kisame collapsed and Naruto grinned crouching and picking up Samehada.
"Don't!" Chojuro warned too late.
Naruto stood with the sword and grinned resting it on his shoulder.
"Relax," Naruto grinned. "It likes Jinchuriki chakra. It won't absorb enough to put me in jeopardy because then I would be unable to give it any more."
"I see," Chojuro nodded.
"I don't like it though," Naruto sighed. "No offense Samehada. I have a friend that would love to own you though."
"About the alliance," Mifune spoke up getting everyone's attention. "I am placing the Hokage in charge. The Hidden Leaf has two Jinchuriki now and the Hokage is the most level headed of us all. Aside from Gaara of course, however, Lord Minato has actual experience in open war. No offense."
"None taken," Gaara shrugged. "I support the choice."
"We will join the Shinobi Alliance," Mei promised. "I apologize for Ao. I had no idea he was working with Madara."
"It is fine," Minato stated. "At least, it is now."
"My hair would disagree," Kushina huffed.
"Just use a Transformation Jutsu," Sasuke suggested.
"What about you Lord Raikage?" Gaara interrupted. "You have not yet given your opinion on the alliance."
"I support the decision," A stated. "And the choice to have Minato lead it."
"Good," Mifune nodded. "The Land of Iron will also help. Now, you should all leave and tell your villages what has transpired here."
They nodded and all left the room, Mei pulling Minato aside.
"Why did you want the Byakugan?" Mei questioned.
"Because it was stolen from a friend of mine who was murdered for it," Minato stated. "His other eye was destroyed by a kunai meant to kill him. That one, however, has been beyond my reach until now. I meant to have it returned to his brother."
"It was Hizashi Hyuga then," Mei nodded. "But, I thought his Byakugan were sealed, and that it was Kumogakure that had killed him."
"You're right," Minato nodded. "Officially, his Byakugan were sealed and it was Kumogakure. However, Ao was the one to deal the killing blow and took his Byakugan. Hiashi, being Hizashi's brother, was more lenient than he should have been. He did not fully activate the cursed seal. He only removed his ability to use it until Hizashi's negative feelings about the Main Branch left him, which happened when he gave his life for his brother. It was a mistake for it to happen. But now, his Byakugan is going to be returned. I thank you for agreeing, and stopping us from giving a Sharingan to Ao."
Mei nodded and the two of them met their bodyguards and Kushina at the entrance where they all left for their own villages, Fu going to the Hidden Leaf Village.
Read and review. I hate Ao, as I said, and wanted the Byakugan to be slightly more important than it was in the anime. It will be a lot more important soon. please don't hate me for Ao.
