Chapter 103: Debatable
Kagome was at a loss for what to say. Sesshoumaru had gone up into the mountains and gathered wood and started a fire, just for her? She cocked her head to the side in a goofy manner and stared at him while her brain tried to process this new action.
"Need something, Miko?" Sesshoumaru asked after a while of her just staring at him with a funny look.
Kagome shook her head, "No. Just... I am..." her voice trailed off as she began thinking again. "Sorry. I guess I am a little shocked."
"It shocks you I can start a fire?"
Kagome smiled sweetly, "No, I am sure your talents stretch far beyond combat and fire starting. What is shocking, is that you felt inclined to start a fire."
"Hn."
"You are full of surprises, that's for sure. It's ... nice."
"That is debatable."
Kagome laughed, pulling her sleeping bag up around herself. "Of course it is. However, since you see no use for conversation, it would be a rather short debate."
"Indeed."
Kagome flashed a toothy grin, "I am realizing you say a lot, even if it is not with words. Thank you, Lord Sesshoumaru."
