A/N: Sorry, there seems to be some confusion. Hope this clears it up:
Yes, she was thrown a '21st' birthday party by her friends as seen in chapter 2. However, in chapter 4, it is clearly explained that she has never turned 21. After the well closed, when she was 16, she finished university in the medical field. She was 27 years old at that point. After staying another 3 years in Japan with her family, her mother pointed out she still looked 16, but she was 30. She moved to the United States, got fake documents that lowered her age, and restarted university again, in history. She is now a Junior in university (she met Kati and Lili during her first year, both being 21 when they throw the party for her fake '21st' birthday) which would make it 32 years since her birth, but still looking 16. It has been 16 years for her since the well closed her out.

Thank you for pointing this out to me, as others may have been confused as well. Don't hesitate to ask question or point out possible mistakes to me. While it may be my story, I can make mistakes and forget that I wrote something in previous chapters. I will happily edit or correct any error, it is the only way to better oneself! Chapter 106: Please Forgive Me

Kagome trudged back to the campsite.

Sesshoumaru was still seated beneath the tree. Kagome walked over to him and stood near his feet. When it became apparent he wasn't going to acknowledge her on his own, she took matters into her own hands. She walked to his side, in direct line of his sight, and knelt down to be at eye level. Sesshoumaru's eyes narrowed minutely as she looked into them.

"I am sorry for the things I said to you."

"This Sesshoumaru does not need your apology."

"Yes, you do, Lord Sesshoumaru. The things I said were out of anger. I don't know you or the things you have been through, in your long life. My mouth spoke without my brain thinking things through first. You may seem as if nothing bothers you, but I know that can't possibly be true. You feel just like the rest of us, only you hide it for whatever reason. It was wrong of me to make such judgemental comments based on that. I do not want you to be angry with me. Please forgive me, Lord Sesshoumaru."

"You are forgiven, Miko."

Kagome smiled.
