Chapter 108: Collide
Kagome stopped dead in her tracks and whirled to face Sesshoumaru. "What?! Who thinks you kidnapped and killed me?" She whispered in a hushed tone.
"The two human females and your male suitor."
"Kati and Lili? The should know better by now that you aren't a threat!"
Sesshoumaru growled.
"I didn't mean it like that. You are plenty dangerous, that's for sure. I just meant that I trust you, wholeheartedly... wait... Ian is here too?"
"Indeed."
"That scumbag! What part of the text message did he not understand?" Kagome asked rhetorically. "Agh... what should I do?" She looked up at him with pleading eyes. Her answer was a narrowing of eyes by Sesshoumaru.
"Right." Kagome sighed. Sesshoumaru wasn't going to be able to help her out of this situation. It wasn't even his place to try. "Time to clear out the unwelcome 'guests'."
She rounded the side of the building, followed by Sesshoumaru. Time to clear things up, once and for all. She was greeted with 4 police cars, lights spinning on top. Time for past and present to collide, lies to hide the truth.
"What's going on?" Kagome called out.
