Chapter 112: Stress
Kagome dressed in bright pink pajama pants and a black tank top after a long, hot shower. She had given her statement to the cops, and after assuring her friends she was fine, she had managed to escape inside her home with Sesshoumaru for a little peace and quiet. She had retreated to the shower to wash away the days stress, it seemed to cling to her like mud.
She hadn't checked her phone yet. She didn't want to see the countless messages she was sure she had just yet. She just wanted to relax.
She walked out to find Sesshoumaru hadn't moved, but he had changed clothes. She knitted her eyebrows together in confusion. Clearly, he must have showered and changed, it was remarkable how he could find the same position he had been in.
She flopped face down on the sofa behind him and growled into one of the throw pillows.
"Miko."
"Sorry, Lord Sesshoumaru, I am just a bit frustrated. I know I should be happy my friends care so much... lets just say I am happy to be alone again. It is tiring sometimes." Kagome said rolling to her side.
