Tails of Uzushiogakure
Naruto sighed, looking around at the assembled shinobi. Among them were the last of the Jinchuriki, his parents, Hinata, Nagato, Konan, Tsunade, The Konoha 11, Sasuke, Anko by Naruto's request, Karin, Suigetsu, Honoka, and Aoba, who were now practically inseparable. Everyone had heard Naruto had a plan to fix whatever problem had resulted in them very nearly dying before and wanted to know what it was and it had somehow fallen to Naruto to be the leader of what was starting to seem like a group of random people from several villages all fighting together.
"Listen up!" Naruto shouted over everyone's conversations. "Konoha 11, you're unnecessary, as are Suigetsu, Konan, Aoba, and the two Hokage."
All those listed all groaned both jokingly and disappointedly before leaving.
"We'll go in two groups," Naruto stated turning back to the others and creating two clones. "My clones will lead Sasuke, Anko, and the Jinchuriki to Uzushiogakure. The Uzumakis will go with me."
They all nodded and the Jinchuriki, clones, Sasuke, and Anko all left.
"Alright Uzumakis let's go," Naruto finally said after fifteen minutes, all of the Uzumakis beginning to walk and leave Hinata behind, which Naruto noticed. "Hinata, all Uzumakis. Get over here."
Kushina and Honoka both stared at Naruto like he had just professed his love to Madara Uchiha then grinned at each other before looking at a blushing Hinata. Karin and Nagato both simply grinned. Kushina looked back at Naruto and saw him glance down and followed his gaze, first thinking he was looking at Hinata's body before something on Hinata's hand flashed in the sun.
"You...oh my God!" Kushina practically squealed. "You proposed!"
"I did," Naruto nodded.
"Did you get Hiashi's blessing?" Karin snickered.
"I did," Naruto repeated smirking as Karin blinked in surprise.
"How?" Karin questioned.
"Not sure," Naruto stated. "Not going to complain."
Hinata reached them and Naruto slipped him hand into hers and walked past the others, all of them turning and following after another minute of surprised silence. After about ten minutes, they stopped as several white humanoids stepped out of the trees. All of them looked almost exactly like...
"Zetsu!" Nagato gasped. "Careful, these are only clones but they're notoriously hard to kill."
"Catch one alive," Naruto instructed Nagato. "It'll come in handy."
Nagato levitated one as two sprinted at him. Naruto stepped forward and blasted one with his Double-Edged Swords, sending it along a massive trail through the trees only for it to stand, dust itself off, and sprint forward again.
"Told you," Nagato stated.
Hinata drew her Sword of the Thunder God and bisected the closer of the two mobile clones, then decapitated the upper half, the remains melting into goo.
At the last second, Naruto tapped into his Nine-tails chakra and caught the last, placing a paralysis seal Kushina had taught him on its neck then did the same to the other one. He then picked the two of them up and they all continued along the path, reaching Uzushiogakure within an hour and finding the others waiting.
"What are they?" Sasuke questioned.
"Zetsu clones," Nagato stated. "The main force of the Thirteen's army, which I'm guessing they had ready for us."
"I see," Naruto nodded. "Let's begin then. Nagato, you're first."
Nagato was about to begin making hand seals when five more Zetsus leapt out of the rubble around them and charged at them. Naruto's clones both used Chakra Arms to catch and restrain four while Naruto caught a punch from the fifth and put the paralysis seal on his neck as his clones did the same to the other four.
"Perfect," Nagato nodded. "We'll need them. Sasuke, do you know the Impure World Reincarnation?"
"I do," Sasuke nodded. "I assume we're bringing the deceased Jinchuriki back?"
"We are," Naruto nodded. "You still have their bodies in the statue right?"
"Yes," Nagato nodded.
"Do it," Naruto ordered.
Nagato made several hand seals and the Gedo Statue exploded out of the ground behind him. Naruto lay five of the seven captured Zetsus down in a line as the Gedo Statue leaned forward and spit out five skulls. Each Uzumaki caught a skull and Sasuke unrolled five scrolls, each with a matching seal on it. The scrolls were placed inside the scrolls and then began to bleed out of the eye sockets. The blood ran off of the scrolls and formed five matching, massive seal formulas under the Zetsus with each laying in a circle. Then, ash and paper began to form out of the ground and cover each Zetsu, each one screaming but unable to move. Then, it stopped.
In their place lay the five dead Jinchuriki. One wore a long, light blue kimono adorned with a small emblem of three bubbles on the back, and a pair of grey pants underneath, with an orange sash. The kimono hung loose, exposing his chest where he carried a bamboo jug and a pipe. Another of the Jinchuriki wore red armor under a brown gi with a furnace on the back of the armor. He was easily a head taller than B. The next was a woman wearing a short-sleeved black and purple blouse and black pants, both of which had a design similar to clouds on them, purple fingerless gloves, a chain of blue beads wound around her left hand, bandages around her arms and legs, a red belt, and a Kumo forehead protector. After her was a man wearing a large headpiece consisting of a three pointed crown-like ridge bearing a ring, a Hidden Stone forehead protector, and a prominent black piece of armor running across his cheeks and the bridge of his nose, a long-sleeved light-red shirt and pants, a mesh-armor shirt and fitted black suit underneath calf-length sandals a brown sash that held a brown armor-like breast plate with a pouch in the front, a brown back plate that is connected to the front with mesh armor, and armored lapels falling to the sides. Lastly was the smallest of the newly revived Jinchuriki. He was short and looked closer to a child than an adult. He wore a grey, sleeveless armor shirt with the Hidden Mist symbol on a forehead protector attached to front, a short-sleeved mesh armor shirt under it with a green poncho over both shirts, a turquoise sash around his waist, a green apron over his grey pants, a pair of brown boots, and a staff-like pole weapon with uneven sized hooks with a green flower on the larger end attached to his back. He had pink eyes and a scar with stitch scars running through it running down from his left eye and over his left cheek.
"Utakata, formerly of the Hidden Mist Village and Jinchuriki of the Six-tailed slug Saiken," Nagato introduced holding his arm toward the Jinchuriki in the blue kimono and moving down the line. "Han, formerly of the Hidden Stone Village and Jinchuriki of the Five-tailed horse Kokuo, Yugito, formerly of the Hidden Cloud Village and Jinchuriki to the Two-tailed Bakeneko Matatabi, Roshi, formerly of the Hidden Stone Village and Jinchuriki of the Four-tailed gorilla Son Goku, and Yagura, Third Mizukage of the Hidden Mist Village and Jinchuriki of the Three-tailed turtle, Isobu."
"Pleasure to meet all of you," Naruto bowed. "Nagato, I believe they are in need of something they are all missing."
Nagato walked over, generating a chakra receiver from his cloak and driving one into each of the revived Jinchuriki before transferring the captive Tailed Beasts into each of their respective former Jinchuriki the chakra receivers allowing them to remain in the Jinchuriki despite the Jinchuriki technically being dead.
"Welcome back you five," Naruto welcomed, speaking more to the Jinchuriki. "I'm Naruto Uzumaki, current Jinchuriki of the Nine-tailed Fox. Pleasure to meet you all."
The five Jinchuriki stood and looked at each other then turned simultaneously to Nagato.
"Relax," Naruto sighed. "He's a friend and regrets what he did. We brought you back, mostly to life, so that we can revive you."
They all turned back to Naruto, not believing him and B stepped forward, drawing Yugito's attention as her eyes widened.
"B," Yugito muttered.
"Yugito," B breathed, both of them clearly beyond happy to see them."
"How many can you revive without dying?" Naruto questioned.
"One," Nagato stated. "I'll likely be reduced to the same condition as after your battle with Pein."
"I can do three," Naruto sighed. "I'll need to borrow chakra from one of you."
He glanced at the others and extended his Chakra Chains from his right hand, one chain wrapping around Utakata, Han, and Roshi. He sent a pulse of chakra through each chain and the three suddenly turned a dull grey with cracks running through their faces before the cracks mended themselves again and their skin returned to the color it should be. Naruto collapsed, Hinata catching him as Karin held out her arm.
"Bit me," Karin ordered. "It'll heal you. I can only do it once though, judging by the amount of chakra you used with that jutsu."
Naruto looked at her arm and saw countless unhealed bite marks that she was obviously trying not to look at.
"That's a lot of bite marks," Naruto noted.
"Orochimaru...took full advantage of my abilities," Karin stated.
Naruto bit her arm and his chakra was instantly restored to full power while Karin staggered sideways. Kushina caught her and Naruto turned back to the remaining Jinchuriki.
"Yugito," Naruto spoke and Nagato nodded, the Gedo Statue sinking back into the ground as the King of Hell rose out glaring at Yugito.
"Gedo Art of Rinne Rebirth," Nagato stated, shaking badly.
The King of Hell opened his mouth and a cloud of green chakra flew out, enveloping Yugito for a moment before her body reacted the same way the three Naruto had revived had. Be instantly stepped forward, hugging Yugito as Nagato stumbled and Gaara caught him with a hand made out of sand, Nagato's body rapidly shriveling until he looked like he hadn't eaten in months. Naruto took a steadying breath then extended two chains, one to Yagura and one to Nagato. He healed both and doubled over, gasping for breath before standing up straight and smiling.
"We're...alive," Yagura breathed barely believing it. "Thank you. But...why?"
"We've been dragged into the Fourth Shinobi World War against Thirteen powerful shinobi, one of which was the one controlling Yagura during his life time," Nagato stated.
"Madara," Yagura growled.
"Exactly," Naruto nodded. "In addition, the Thirteen include a shinobi that can use the Impure World Reincarnation and has gathered DNA from several Pseudo-Jinchuriki, the former Eight-tails Jinchuriki, and God only knows who else. There also seems to be an army of these."
He indicated the two remaining Zetsus and the Jinchuriki all glanced at them then back to Naruto.
"Each of you was reincarnated using one of these clones," Naruto stated.
"That's great but what does this war have to do with us?" Yagura questioned.
"Simple," Naruto stated. "The three Pseudo-Jinchuriki have the powers of Kurama and the former Eight-tails is as strong as if he still had the Eight-tails inside of him. We need more Jinchuriki to fight against them. The Thirteen themselves are likely all reincarnated, making them deathless. We need your help."
"And in exchange?" Yagura questioned pulling the chakra receiver out of his side and gritting his teeth against the pain.
"You'll get to stay alive," Naruto stated coldly. "If not, I'm sure there are other people that can be the Three-tails Jinchuriki."
Yagura glared at him for a moment before nodding and Honoka, Karin, Hinata, and Kushina stepped forward, removing the shallow chakra receivers from the other four Jinchuriki and healed them then Kushina healed Yagura before they all turned to Naruto.
"Alright Sasuke," Naruto sighed. "Time to play Snake Charmer."
Right," Sasuke nodded forming a hand seal as Naruto pulled out a small container containing the head of a snake cut off of Kabuto before he had escaped. Anko knelt biting on a piece of leather as Naruto pulled the snake head out, the head melting into a ball in his hand. Naruto placed it against Anko's neck, over her Curse Mark. The Curse Mark glowed red on the skin as Sasuke began making hand seals.
"Curse Mark Release!" Sasuke said as the piece of Kabuto's flesh grew into a large snake head, stretching out then opening its mouth and releasing Orochimaru, who then absorbed the snake, leaving Anko slightly tired but free of the Curse Mark finally.
"Who would have thought, that it would be the two of you that would facilitate my return," Orochimaru sneered as Sasuke held up another scroll for the Impure World Reincarnation. "So, you want to revive the fallen Hokage?"
"No," Sasuke said flatly.
"You will be summoning the Shinigami and freeing the Three Hokage from it," Naruto stated. "Then, you will use the Impure World Reincarnation on Lord Third. He has something I require. After I have it, you will be of no further use for the jutsu. You will release Lord Third to the Afterlife and then, you will either flee or join him."
"And if I refuse?" Orochimaru hissed.
"I will use my Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan to force you to do it," Sasuke stated. "And then I will kill you."
Orochimaru hissed at him angrily then nodded and they all walked through the rubble to the only standing building, a temple which was lined inside with masks. Kushina walked forward and picked out a mask with a practiced ease. She walked over to Orochimaru placing it on his face then glaring at him and walking over to Naruto and Hinata as they watched Orochimaru form several hand seals before the Shinigami formed behind him. The Shinigami removed the dagger from its mouth and drove it into its stomach, cutting itself open and releasing three souls as well as the soul fragment Minato had sealed containing Orochimaru's arms. They had been restored in use but not power. Now, he was at full strength again.
Orochimaru used the Impure World Reincarnation to revive Hiruzen Sarutobi then switched his body for the final Zetsu clone.
"So, I've been revived then," Hiruzen noted. "Why?"
"You have something I require," Naruto stated stepping forward.
"Ah, the Fourth's son," Hiruzen mused. "I see. You want the other half. Very well, step forward. And good luck."
Naruto stepped forward and Hiruzen placed his hand on Naruto's shoulder. For half a second, nine tails of bubbling red chakra appeared from under his hand then they sank into Naruto and Naruto took a step back before sitting down and entering his mindscape to see a now massive Kurama standing outside his shattered cage. Naruto latched on and , instead of struggling, Kurama stood and walked away, his chakra separating from him, before Naruto rebuilt the cage, now beg enough for the full-size demon fox.
Naruto returned to the real world and looked around. Sasuke was holding Orochimaru with his Susanoo's skeletal hand and Hiruzen was restrained from killing Naruto by Chakra Chains from Karin, Kushina, Nagato, and Honoka, most of which he wasn't even aware had chakra chains.
"Sasuke, end the jutsu," Naruto ordered.
Sasuke placed Orochimaru under a genjutsu instantly and set him down, Orochimaru ending the jutsu before Sasuke crushed him under his Susanoo's fist.
"That could have gone wrong, quickly," Naruto sighed as Hiruzen fell away as ash and paper, leaving only a dead Zetsu. "Thank you."
The Uzumaki all nodded and Naruto reentered his mindscape.
"Why didn't you resist?" Naruto questioned.
"Because you returned my other half to me," Kurama stated. "And because I think I may have figured out what Madara wants. I don't want it to end. Therefore, I will work with you. Unseal me, and I will add my power to yours."
Naruto stared at him for a moment before he heard someone calling his name.
"I'll think about it," Naruto said before returning to reality.
"What did he want?" B questioned.
"To cooperate," Naruto stated. "He thinks he may now Madara's ultimate goal."
"Shukaku does too," Gaara stated.
"We should head back and report on what happened," Kushina stated. "We'll have Shukaku and Kurama confer notes and then run it by the others."
Naruto nodded and they all left Uzushiogakure, heading back to Konoha to report on their success. At the same time, Naruto was going to form the greatest military force ever seen. Even better than an army of Uchiha, excluding Madara.
