Chapter 121: Fake it
Kagome walked beside Sesshoumaru, just enjoying being out of the house. He was pleasant enough company. She came to a halt outside a smallish dinner.
"Com'on." She smiled before opening the glass door and going inside. "Table for two, please." She told the young hostess.
The little blonde girl eyed Sesshoumaru up and down before plastering a huge, lustful smile on her face. Kagome rolled her eyes as the girl slowly grabbed two menus from under the counter while batting her overly mascaraed eyelashes at Sesshoumaru. "Right this way." She said in a thick sing songy voice.
Kagome slid into the booth she was directed to before looked back at Sesshoumaru. Sesshoumaru stood there behind the blonde, motionless. Then Kagome realized why. The blonde was standing, deliberately, in the way and Sesshoumaru didn't want to touch her. They would be no way around her without having to come into contact with her, sneaky little girl.
"Fake it a little better next time. Please move so he can pass, thank you." Kagome said before opening her menu.
The blonde scowled and with a flip of her hair, walked away.
Kagome just laughed as Sesshoumaru sat.
