Blind Eye
Naruto, Hinata, and Suigetsu, who had caught up with them about ten minutes after they left, sprinted as fast as they could through the trees. All were silent but they could hear the sounds of battle and would be able to see it within minutes.
"I'm taking the Swordsmen's blades," Suigetsu spoke up.
"Any that are here," Naruto agreed as a massive cloud of mist came into view, flashes of explosions appearing one after another. "What is that?"
"Shibuki," Suigetsu guessed. "The Blastsword. "A massive blade that looks like it could hold a scroll and has countless explosive tags inside. There's also Nuibari, the Sewing Needle, Kabutowari, the Helmet Splitter, and Kiba, the Thunderswords. Chojuro has one of the swords, B has Samehada, and I have Kubikiribcho."
As if on cue, the Executioner's blade exploded into a cloud of smoke leaving Suigetsu with only his chokuto.
"Damn!" Suigetsu growled. "My brother's there. He summoned it."
"You'll handle him," Naruto stated tossing his newest sword to Suigetsu. "Do not lose that. I'll kill you if you break it."
Suigetsu grinned and nodded as the three of them passed into the mist, visibility instantly dropping to about ten feet. Naruto drew his Crow Blade and Temujin's sword, deciding to move fast. Just as he did, a form appeared in the mist and he and Hinata stopped. Hinata drew her Sword of the Thunder God, readying herself just as Kakashi ran out of the mist, a shadow attached to his.
"Kakashi Sensei!" Naruto smiled as he slowed to a stop in front of them.
"Listen, I can't talk long," Kakashi spoke quickly. "Zabuza and Haku are back. Zabuza is behind the mist and I'm looking for him. When I find him, I'll stop him. For now, help the others. Sensor Ninjas should be able to sense others in the mist."
Naruto nodded extending his senses then activated his Byakugan to see around himself and blinked. His Byakugan was unaffected.
"Hinata, Byakugan," Naruto instructed and she complied, grinning as Kakashi sprinted away just as an ice mirror formed in front of Naruto. "Shit."
The mirror was soon joined by others in a circle and Haku appeared in them all.
"I think you'll find that I'm not weak enough to fall to you this time," Naruto growled crouching and spreading teleportation seals across the ground before standing and throwing a kunai at a mirror.
The moment it was hit, Naruto teleported to it and saw that the senbon had come from the ground level. He looked at each mirror with his Byakugan before seeing Haku and teleporting to him, crashing through the mirror fist first and launching Haku away. Haku landed hard, pushing herself up and drew a pair of senbon and Naruto drew his Crow Blade and Temujin's Sword.
Both sprinted forward but Naruto skidded to a stop as he heard a scream behind him. He ducked under Haku's strike and looked back toward Hinata as he kicked Haku away. Hinata was avoiding slash after slash from a woman wielding a pair of swords, each with slim, straight, double-edged blades, an upward-curved bladed prong near the tip of one edge of blade and another one near the base of the blade's opposite edge.
Naruto sprinted forward and extended Temujin's sword, blocking one of the woman's sword allowing Hinata to block the other, electrocuting the woman and launching her away as Haku entered an ice mirror and disappeared.
Suigetsu sprinted through the mist, glad he had trained with his brother in the Silent Killing technique. As a result, the enemies wouldn't be able to find him except by random incident. Finally, he slid to a stop as he found his brother, Mangetsu, standing amongst several corpses, holding only a kunai. He turned his attention to Suigetsu who drew his sword as Mangetsu stared at him, black and white eyes as emotionless as his face.
"Mangetsu," Suigetsu called out. "Please snap out of it. Stop being a pawn and wake up!"
Mangetsu sprinted forward, slashing at Suigetsu who blocked it and several more before Mangetsu's kunai flashed through his arm and he jumped back, a trail of water following. Suigetsu growled in frustration and stabbed his sword into the ground and drew a kunai, crouching and readying himself to fight his brother as hey had so many times during training. Both held their free hands in a finger gun as they charged and fought with he kunai. Thanks to their shared ability to turn to water, neither bothered to dodge attacks and used the Water Gun Jutsu freely to burn their chakra away quickly, Mangetsu's consciousness returning a bit as they fought and returning his old habits for fighting with Suigetsu. Finally, one of Suigetsu's slashes scattered ash and paper rather than water and signaled the end o their competitive fight and the beginning of their true duel to the death.
Both leapt away from each other, firing a Water Gun Jutsu which tore through both of their right shoulders. They dropped their kunai as blood splattered around Suigetsu and ash and paper flew out of Mangetsu's back, but just then, the mist cleared and they looked around. Then, Mangetsu formed a half-ram with his left hand and held his hand out, Kubikiribocho appearing in his hand. Then, he charged. Suigetsu dove sideways from a slash and grabbed the one Naruto had loaned him, spinning and blocking a slash from Mangetsu. Then, he kicked his brother into the air and jumped after him, slashing. Mangetsu blocked it but Suigetsu increased the muscle in his left arm and smashed Kubikiribocho out of the way before slashing his brother in half. He landed on his feet, Mangetsu's halves beside him and both swords held in his hand.
Naruto blocked another slash as the mist began to fade. He and Hinata were no longer fighting the woman, Ameyuri according to Suigetsu, and were now fighting the ninja with Shibuki, a tall man wearing a brown striped shirt and black pants with straight brown hand and a straight brown beard, named Jinpachi, and a short man with brown hair hanging behind him and in a wolf-tail out of the top of his bandanna-style forehead protector a purple poncho over a black muscle-shirt and pants. This one, Jinin, wielded an axe in his right hand attached to a large metal mallet in his left with a leather strap. Naruto was fighting Jinpachi while Hinata was fighting Jinin.
Jinin proved to be extremely fast and deadly and had a habit of using the mallet to smash the axe through the things his axe couldn't go through alone, such as any blades that met his sword. All except Hinata's since he was electrocuted the first time his axe met Hinata's blade and now avoided it. Jinpachi, on the other hand, was fairly slow, probably due to a very heavy sword, and Naruto was using his Sword of Kusanagi and Temujin's sword to fight Jinpachi and was easily doing it since it took a second for the tags to explode. Just as Naruto moved to incapacitate Jinpachi, Jinin crashed into him, both flying away as the mist began to fade. Naruto ran over to Hinata who was breathing hard and Jinpachi and Jinin stood and fled. Naruto turned to follow just as two shapes crashed down between him and them. Naruto saw who it was with his Byakugan instantly and so did Hinata. However, Naruto used a chakra arm to hurl Hinata away from the two. Sai caught her with an ink bird and Naruto leapt away from the two, landing beside Suigetsu just as he landed with two halves of his brother.
"I'll need that sword of mine," Naruto growled and Suigetsu handed it over then turned to his brother, driving Kubikiribocho down through his brother's chest.
"You should totally give me a hand in this," Naruto smirked.
"What?" Suigetsu questioned as a line of Alliance Shinobi were skewered on round white spikes growing from the ground and lifted fifty feet into the air. "Oh, him."
Kimimaro stepped out from between the bone spikes and pulled a bone sword out of his shoulder.
"Damn," Naruto growled. "I was really hoping I was wrong about that."
"What Kimimaro?" Suigetsu snorted.
"No," Naruto sighed as Danzo stepped out behind Kimimaro. "Him."
"Oh," Suigetsu breathed. "Shit."
"Naruto Uzumaki," Danzo spoke as he and Kimimaro walked forward calmly, a katana dropping from Danzo's plain black robe. "It's good to see you again. Better to see you without the Uchiha."
"I'll handle Kimimaro if you want," Suigetsu volunteered.
"Good idea," Naruto nodded. "You'd die fighting Danzo."
Suigetsu nodded then glanced at Mangetsu.
"If he can be trusted, I'll revive him after this," Naruto promised. "Here."
He handed his Sword of Kusanagi to Suigetsu and Kimimaro tensed at the sight of it.
"Found the one sword that can't be cut by yours huh Kimimaro?" Naruto grinned and Kimimaro grinned nodding as his curse mark spread over his skin.
"He's got a curse mark?" Suigetsu questioned.
"Yeah," Naruto nodded. "And level two."
Suigetsu took a shaky step back and Naruto glanced at him before back at the other two.
"Suigetsu," Naruto growled. "If you're low enough on chakra to bleed, protect Hinata instead. I'll handle these two."
Suigetsu nodded and handed the sword back to Naruto before grabbing a kunai and sprinting away. Naruto created his Three Clone Squad but with an extra one holding the new sword. Then he created one to gather Nature Energy while he and the others charged. He had his Sword of Kusanagi in his left and Temujin's Sword in his right, one clone had the Double-Edged Swords, one had the Garian Blades, and one had a Rasengan in his left hand and a Wind Sword in his right.
Danzo moved first, slashing at the Naruto with the Garian Swords as he extended them at Kimimaro. Danzo's blade was blocked by Naruto's Sword of Kusanagi before he planted Temujin's sword in Danzo's face. Kimimaro jumped over the Garian Blades then looked up in time to cover his body in bone armor just before the Naruto with the Rasengans blasted him into the ground. Then, the Naruto hurled the Wind Sword, decapitating Kimimaro. Danzo reappeared beside Kimimaro, one Sharingan closed just as the Naruto with the new sword appeared and bisected him. Danzo reappeared again as Kimimaro finished regenerating and jumped over to him over the Narutos.
"This is getting us nowhere," Naruto growled. "Are you done yet?"
"It doesn't matter," The last Naruto clone growled standing. "We can't seal them."
"Fair enough," Naruto sighed. "Then what do we do?"
Just then, both undead shinobi raised a hand, grinning, and disappeared in a cloud of smoke.
"Well that was...unexpected," Naruto blinked releasing his clones and picking up Kubikiribocho. "Better go find the others."
Just as he said this, massive bolt of lightning shot into the sky in the distance.
"Damn!" Naruto growled.
He extended Chakra Chains to Mangetsu and revived him as he finished regenerating. Then, Mangetsu followed him as they went to help whoever was battling where the lightning had come from.
Read and review. Sorry it took so long but I was waiting for the Seven Ninja Swordsman fight. The next chapter is Ameyuri vs Omoi so I'll probably just skip to the subbed version 'cause I'm tired of waiting.
