A/N: Writer's block again.

I'll be merging 2-3 chapters together in one in order to get closer to the wedding which is 4 chapters away from now! So that means chapters will be way longer than the usual.

Life is a bit of a bore so I do realize that I haven't updated MM for a month now and I'm sorry.

And I know it's not right for me to explain what's happening with the whole 'lost twin' thing but I assure you everything will be fine at the end. Here's the next chapter…

Chapter 17: Is it love?

Renesmee

What the hell just happened here? Did what I think happened just happen? I kept asking these questions in my head. Both Leah and Nahuel stared at each other like they saw the sun for the first time. Well at least that's what I thought. This couldn't be true, did Leah just imprint on Nahuel?

"What just happened?" Seth asked as if he read my mind. I stared back at my father who had a weird yet amused facial expression. I wanted to know why. Nahuel looked really astounded and speechless as his jaw dropped like a slobbery dog.

"Jacob?" I asked him as I looked up. He didn't stare at me. He just had his eyes transfixed on Nahuel with a glare. What happened next surprised me, Jacob left my side and began running to Leah's direction and phased on the spot. "Wait Jake!" I called out.

"Let him go, he just needs to talk to her." My dad told me. "He'll be back" He added. I sighed and turned around to face the group.

"Who was that majestically beautiful creature?" Nahuel asked snapping back to reality. Seth frowned at what he said. As if he knew what just happened.

"That was Leah Clearwater," I answered.

"Leah Clearwater, my sister as in I'm related to her and I'll protect her with all my life and-" Seth warned him as he took a step closer to him with his fist tightened.

"I think we get it Seth," I laughed as I held him back. "Why don't we go back into the house?" I suggested and they all agreed immediately and we walked back into the house to hear a loud racket.

"Dad, didn't we already have this talk already!" I heard my eldest cousin Cathy exclaimed in frustration as she walked past the living room. Uncle Emmett followed her soon after.

"But Cat, you should understand. You're almost full grown and I want you to take precautions and be careful-" He said but was cut off by Cat.

"Okay dad. I'm not dating. I was just belatedly April fooling you!' She replied.

"Yeah I get that but I just want you to have a good teenage-hood without any distractions." He pleaded. Cathy took one good at him before groaning in frustration and leaving the room. "I love you!" He added.

"Whatever dad!" she replied walking into her room. Emmett sighed and turned around to see us standing there watching the whole scene.

"Eddie I really don't know how you do it." He said to my father as he walked away into the living room to play his video game. Seth and I erupted into giggles after that happened.

"Okay…I think we should head into the living room" Edward suggested. "I'll go be with your mother while you guys catch up." He added. We nodded and walked into the second living room down the hall.

"So what brought you here Nahuel? I haven't seen you in like forever!" I asked him. I was so happy to see my friend again, I mean like it has been almost two years since I've seen him but it just feels longer.

"Has it been forever? I thought it was two years." He said. I rolled my eyes at my ancient friend, he chuckled. "Well, my aunt and I were going around the world to meet up with this witch friend of hers, she lives in Seattle so I thought since I was in Washington then I'd visit you guys" He replied. I nodded.

"Oh, isn't your aunts friend perhaps Theresa, the witch?" I asked him. He nodded.

"Yeah that's her. Well, we came by like two days ago with my younger sister, Jennifer, I told you about all those years ago." He reminded me. I frowned.

"Jennifer?" I asked him. I couldn't quite vividly remember the time we met up with the Volturi. I always tried my best to forget about it for almost eight years now but there's always that heap of memory of that gruesome time in me that just wouldn't disappear.

"Yeah Jennifer she-" He began but was cut off by the backyard door opening and two voices entering the room.

"Your sister really did that?" I heard an unfamiliar voice ring into the house.

"Yeah she did, I kept holding it against here for the past three years now," My brother answered. The unfamiliar voice chuckled.

"You and your sister are crazy." She laughed.

"And that would be my sister," Nahuel said to me. My brother and a girl I've never seen in my life faced us.

"Oh hey guys," My brother said to us with a casual smile. We all looked at him as to say he should introduce us to his friend. "Oh right. Guys meet Jennifer, Jennifer meet my sister and friend Seth." He introduced. Both Jennifer and I gave each other handshakes. I have to say, Jennifer was extremely beautiful. She had long pale blonde hair and crystal blue eyes. She was medium height probably an inch taller than me, and had a distinctly pale skin.

"I've heard so much about you. Your brother talks about you all the time." She chuckled.

"I hope they weren't horrible," I laughed eying my brother carefully. She giggled back.

"I doubt it. He told me about how you freaked out as a child because you lost your pet hamster in the forest; he said you cried throughout the whole month." She giggled. I narrowed my eyes to my overly big-mouthed brother.

"I thought we agreed not to ever talk about that Jason" I said sternly. He smiled crookedly. When Jason was a kid, I used to always project my thoughts to him about my whole life.

"Sorry?" He shrugged. I rolled my eyes. "Anyway, Jennifer this is Seth, a family friend." Jason continued as he motioned to Seth.

"Good to meet you Seth, I've never met a reeking wolf before." She said jokingly with a light chuckle. Seth looked at her in awe and as if he was honored.

"Finally someone with a sense of humor in this damned house!" he exclaimed as he literally picked her up and twirled her around. She chuckled also, that's when Cathy appeared.

"Seth. May talk to you in my room for a minute… now!" she said sternly as she crossed her arms. Seth's and Jennifer's laughs stopped as they stared at the almost flaming Catherine. What was that about?

"Um, yeah sure" Seth said nervously as he placed Jennifer back onto the ground and walked up to Cathy who glared up at him. "What?" He shrugged. She huffed as they both went up the stairs.

"Well okay. Now that we've all met each other, will someone please tell me who that woman was?" Nahuel asked again, clearly implying about meeting Leah. I laughed.

"Um yeah." I began. "Leah, she's a family friend kind of like my step-aunt and the first she-wolf," I said. He frowned.

"A wolf?" he asked. I nodded. "As in, like your friend Jake?" He added.

"Well he's not my friend. He's my fiancé and yes" I replied. He nodded understandingly.

"Well congratulations to both of you by the way." He said happily. I chuckled. I was surprised at what he said, I mean, all this time I knew Nahuel kind of liked me well at least I thought so and both him and Jacob weren't good friends. But I think that took away when he met Leah.

"Oh you're engaged?" Jennifer gasped, I nodded. "That is so great, I've never met an engaged person, haven't even seen a ring before" She laughed. My eyes widened.

"Are you serious?" I asked in utter shock. She nodded.

"Yeah, my dad always kept my sisters and me indoors almost all our lives. We never got to explore the outside world much so there were some things I haven't seen" She said.

"Wow. That must be terrible?" I blurted out and I immediately gaped. I didn't mean to say that out loud. She giggled.

"Tell me about it, I'm glad I met Nahuel and Huilen because I get to fulfill those opportunities"

"So you don't live with your dad anymore?" Jason asked. She nodded.

"Yeah, he went sort of MIA eight years ago. We haven't seen him since some gang came after him, he told us to spread across the world so when I got to Nahuel, he invited me warmly into his home with Huilen and I've been staying with them ever since" She said with a smile.

"Okay, not to be very forward and all but didn't you say your father left eight years ago so where did you live before moving in with Nahuel and Huilen?" I asked.

"I lived with my second eldest sister Maysun while my other sister Serena went searching for our dad."

"We haven't seen her since then." Nahuel said as he looked at the door as if he were waiting for someone to enter. I can imagine who.

"But it doesn't mean we haven't heard from them, we still keep in touch" Jennifer added. I nodded. Well they lived a full life on the road.

"Wow, you really did live a full life huh" Jason said in awe as he stared at her. Hey, you read my mind! I thought out to him. He smiled slightly as Jennifer turned to face him.

"Yeah I guess" She said, her cheeks turning red a little as stared down at her feet. Okay, what was that?

"How old is she again?" Nahuel blurted out of nowhere. "Leah, how old is she?" He asked.

"I wouldn't know, probably in her late twenties" I shrugged. He nodded and was about to talk but was cut off by the door opening. I got up from the couch to see Jacob standing shirtless by the door as he zipped up his jeans. I smiled widely and ran up to him.

"Hey Ness." He chuckled as he kissed my temple. I breathed in his wonderful musky scent and kissed his chest. We walked into the living room where Nahuel, Jason and Jennifer were. Jacob growled lowly as he saw Nahuel fiddling with his fingers.

"Nahuel," Jacob said firmly. Nahuel looked up and sighed.

"Jacob." He said with the same tone. Okay this was just about to get awkward or what?

"Okay…Hey Jenny, why don't I give you a tour of the house?" Jason suggested as he also realized the awkwardness building. Oh, so you guys are on first nickname basis huh there brother? I teased. Shut up! He thought back and I chuckled lowly as they both left the room already in deep conversation. I immediately focused back to the two boys glaring at each other in front of me.

"So you want to see Leah?" Jacob asked him. Nahuel nodded straightly. "She's out back"

"Thanks," Nahuel said nodding again to him and began walking away but Jake got in his way.

"But if you ever lay a hand on her-" He said sternly.

"Jake let him go" I heard a voice from behind. I turned around slightly to see Leah standing at the door. I was extremely surprised to see her in the house, I mean she always sworn to never step foot into the Cullen house, ever!

Jacob took one good look at Nahuel again looking very hesitant but nodded as he released from his stance allowing Nahuel to pass through and walk out with Leah. When they were both gone, Jacob and I took our place on one of the couches with me sat on his lap.

"What was that all about?" I giggled. Jacob sighed.

"Oh you'll see" He said sternly. I frowned at him. What did he mean by that?

Leah

After running and running and more running and when I was sure I was past the border and away from all of the craziness, I decided I should probably take a rest under a tree. I had no freaking idea what just happened! Did I just imprinted or just get speechless over the hottest person I've ever seen?! Okay, I think I better shut up with all of this ranting about how beautifully featured a guy is and focus on the main reason here!

I've seen how imprints work; I mean I have almost the entire packs showcasing that. This was totally different. I mean yes, I have this attraction to him that I couldn't explain just like the wolves would always say. But it's more of a desire…ugh I don't even know anymore!

I phased back into my human self and through on my tight jean shorts and my sports bra. Alice applied me to a new dressing choice, not that I care but she wouldn't stop talking about it so I thought 'hey, maybe I should take the offer. Whatever helped her sleep at night' or in their case…okay never mind.

I lay my head into my pulled up legs and watched the river flow through like a stream of water and the sun glistening on it. Huh, it was interesting to watch, watching all the waters flowing. My train of thought was pulled away by the sound of a dog barking. But it wasn't a normal bark it was a bark only known by the alpha wolf.

"Go away" I snarled at him sternly. I heard a breeze blow through and I turned to see a naked Jacob standing in front of me. "Oh gods, Jake please cover that!" I exclaimed covering my eyes. I heard him chuckle.

"We've been wolves for almost ten years and you're still not accustomed to seeing naked men?" He chuckled as I heard him pulling his shorts on. I rolled my eyes as I uncovered them.

"Whatever Jake, if you're here to lecture me about running off then I'm not really in the mood" I said.

"I'm not here to lecture you. I'm here to talk to you" He said as he sat down next to me. I sighed. "What happened there?" He asked.

"I don't want to talk about it" I said firmly.

"Come on Leah, we're going to talk about it at some point in time." He pleaded. I sighed.

"I don't know what happened. I just took one look at him and it just happened" I told him.

"You imprinted on him?" He asked but was more of a confirmation. I shook my head.

"I didn't imprint on him, at least I think not." I replied.

"Then what happened?" He asked.

"Okay, you know when you meet someone and have this weird attraction to them that you can't really explain?" I asked. He nodded.

"Yeah, that's called love at first sight?" He said more of a question. I nodded.

"Well I didn't get that." I said.

"I'm not getting you" He said. I sighed. Here comes the explaining.

"Well, when I saw him, everything changed. I don't know what it was but I know it wasn't imprinting." I said. He nudged me for me to continue. "I don't love him. I just want to fuck him." I concluded so that he got the point.

"Okay, too much info, Leah." He said in disgust. Right…

"See, you shouldn't have asked" I groaned.

"Well then if you really aren't in love with him then why did you just run off?" He asked. Jacob wasn't exactly the brightest cat in relationships I guess.

"Because I'm afraid, I can't face him. I'll be humiliated." I sighed.

"Leah Clearwater doesn't get humiliated very easily" He said frowning.

"Oh yeah, it isn't democratic as it sounds Mr. Nessie, have you seen how hot that guy is?" I asked.

"Um…no" He said looking like he was about to puke. I rolled my eyes. "You've got to talk to him at some point Leah. I don't approve of this but I feel as if…if this guy really will make you happy then…then I think you should go for it." He said emotionally. I laughed out loud.

"Seriously Jake." I laughed. "I don't need your approval but thanks for looking out for me buddy" I said giving him a light punch on the shoulder.

"I'm serious Leah, you haven't been happy for a long time and all I want for you is to be happy. The problem is I still don't like him; I don't want you to get hurt. I'm actually contemplating on approving this guy, he could be danger you know. He's a vamp!" He began ranting away his frustration.

"Okay Jake, I understand you've still got that inch of jealousness in you just because he tried stealing your girlfriend so I don't blame you for that. And you're right. He is one of those leeches, which is the reason why I can't see him. Nothing will ever change my feelings about them even though I actually like a couple of them." I replied.

"Oh Leah, first real acknowledgement you had for the Cullen's?" He asked. I snarled.

"If you ever mention this to them I swear I'll rip your throat out faster than Nessie will say 'I love you'" I said showing him my fist. He chuckled lowly and surrendered his hands.

"Fair enough," He replied. "So what are you going to do?" He asked. I sighed and shrugged.

"I don't know Jake" I said scratching my forehead. He smiled and got up to extend his hand to me. I smiled weakly and changed my clothes so that I could phase. I heard him chuckle and phase right after.

We ran back to the Cullen house and when we reached there, we phased back and throw our clothes back on and step onto the porch.

"Are you coming in?" He asked and I just shook my head. He seemed hesitant but I ushered him.

"Go on." I said with a convincing smile. He nodded and entered the house.

I had no idea what to do at that point. Should I have taken a risk and actually spoken to Nahuel or should I have just left while I still could?

I decided to take up the risk when I heard both Jake and Nahuel busy throwing daggers at each other. I sighed and got up. Here goes nothing.

"Jake let him go" I said as I entered the house. Jacob looked hesitant at first but moved out of Nahuel's way so he could pass. I sighed as I walked out of the house and standing on the porch.

"Hello Leah, I'm Nah-"

"I know who you are" I said. He reached for my hand and my heart began to race. Did I want to take it?

I contemplated but took another chance and shook it. The moment Nahuel's cold skin touched my hand; my body was literally on fire. I had never felt anything like that before not even with Sam. Every physical cell in my body was aching to literally jump on him and claim him as mine. I wanted to know everything about him, where he was from. How full his life was.

I reluctantly let go of his beautiful hand and stared forward to the forest.

"Your hand is warm, warmer than anyone's I've ever touched." He said in the most beautifully warm voice of his that was strong yet gentle. I giggled.

"Really?" I asked. He frowned.

"Did I say something wrong?" He asked. I smiled at how cute and innocent he looked.

"You're seriously going to compliment me on how warm my hand feels?" I chuckled. His face turned pink as he looked around.

"Yeah, I haven't been in this situation before." He said nervously. Seriously, a handsome face like you hasn't been around girls?

I must have said it out loud because I heard him chuckle. Oops!

"Yeah, I don't go out much." He said. I smiled.

"Well to answer your question, yes. That's courtesy to me being a wolf." I told him. He nodded.

"I haven't met something like you before" He said so strongly that it just literally made my heart skip a beat.

"Well I'm no different than any other wolf around me," I chuckled.

"Yeah but I can't help but only see you" He said moving my chin so that he'd face me. I literally got lost in his luscious brown eyes. Dark and beautiful

"I don't really think I'm that special" I chuckled. He simpered down at me showing off his perfect white teeth. He leaned in to give me a soft kiss on both my cheeks before staring at my lips. God, this guy was really sexy.

I pulled his head down and he leaned in to give me one good kiss on the lips. It was powerful and filled with lust.

"Don't you want to get out of here?" He asked as we pulled away. I smiled up at him.

"Oh definitely" I said excitedly as we left the house and into my brothers Durango. He always left his spare keys whenever he was staying over at the Cullen's since mine is in repairs.

We drove to my small house in the reservation. We got into the house and he stared at the interior of my fully Quileute home away from home.

"This place is beautiful" He said in awe.

"Yeah whatever" I said immediately pulling him to me into a strong powerful kiss. I heard him moan happily against our lips and picked me swiftly off the ground and powerfully attacking me with kisses. He moved his lips to my neck as he walked down the hall to my room. "Left" I instructed and he kicked the door and entered it while kissing me all over, he laid me onto the bed and we began peeling our clothes off.

He stared deep into my eyes as he pulled away slightly. I frowned.

"Leah, you should know that I'm venomous and I could hurt you" He said sadly. I smiled. I didn't think of that but at this point, I didn't really give a shit.

"I don't care, I trust you" I told him. Whoa, where did that come from? I've only met him today but I feel like I can trust him. He smiled down at me and continued with the kisses as we spent the rest of the night in blissful sex…

… …

It's been two weeks since meeting Nahuel and I have to say that the sex is just so amazing. Nahuel decided to stay for a while because he wanted to see me some more and I was so glad that he chose that. He has been staying with me for a while…well technically pretending to sleep over at the Cullen's but leaving at night in order to come over at mind.

I know you're thinking maybe we're just purely having sex and that's true but we're friends. I learned so much about him and I have to say, he's pretty cool.

Nahuel and I were currently in my bedroom after another round of beautiful sex. We were both hyperventilating.

"Well that was fun" I said. He chuckled.

"Yes, yes it was." He smiled at me. I took one good look up and down his body and I have to say. He was totally sexy. "Hey, when I was in Brazil, I got this." He said reaching for something on the nightstand. He then showed me a bouquet of an unfamiliar flower.

"What's that?" I asked.

"They're called Meriana noblis. The most exotic flowers in the country, I thought I'd bring it to Carlisle but I thought you'd be better" He said. I smiled.

"Thanks" I accepted it as I took them and smelt them. "They're nice" I said and threw them onto my side of the nightstand. He frowned,

"You don't want them?" He asked.

"No I want you" I said as I pulled him up to my body and kissed him fiercely. He chuckled against my lips but gave in. Oh I love this…

"I'm totally freaking out right now!" I exclaimed. It's been almost two months since my engagement and I'm even more nervous. Lots of events have been happening, my wedding, this whole friendship with Jennifer and Jason and Nahuel and Leah having sex. Seems to be the reason why he was staying and why Jennifer was too. I didn't really know what was happening between them all but I could see something happening. I was happy for both Leah and Nahuel of course, but for Jennifer and Jason...not so much.

"Oh relax Nessie, it's not like it's the end of the world. The bridesmaid's designs will come in don't worry. That's my job!" My aunt Alice assured me.

"Yeah, we're focusing on your dress now." Laura said with a cute smile. I smiled back and nodded. That's when my brother entered the room.

"Oh hey guys, I haven't seen you all day" He said pecking Laura and giving both Alice and I kisses on the cheek. "I'm sorry but I spent all day with my friend" He said. What are you saying? I exclaimed. "Jennifer and I went to the amusement park and went hunting afterwards. I guess being around humans really took its toll for her" He chuckled. All this time I was giving him red flags to shut up!

"Jennifer?" Laura asked. "Who's this Jennifer?" She added as she crossed her arms together. I hung my face down. Oh great…

"Uh…nobody" Jason said. Laura huffed and got up and left the room. "Oh come on babe, she's just a friend."

"I'm sure she's one hell of a bestie!" She called out. Someone's in trouble! I thought to him. He turned to glare at me.

"Shut up!" He snarled and glared at Alice. "You could've warned me" He added. She shrugged.

"Nothing good like family drama" She shrugged. I giggled and he walked out of the room to a currently pissed Laura. This should be fun…
