Previously on Midnight Moon…

"Will you do me the most extraordinary honor in marrying me?"

...

"Alice, I think she fits perfect in that."

"I don't know. It seems a little loose you know."

...

"You seriously want to go to that prune's party?"

"What wrong could happen at a Black Light Party?"

"Well I don't know. For starters, there could be alcohol and all that nasty jazz and secondly. Let's not forget the homicidal/kidnapping vampire we encountered not so long ago that almost sentenced you to death by biting you!"

...

"I don't know must be someone close to the family."

"So the-these are you-your …children?"

...

"Let me out of here!" Carmen screeched.

"We want to find the wailing woman,"

"I feel like I'm standing in mud whole of danger." Laura said.

"How would you know something's wrong?"

"Because I feel it as well…" Alice declared.

...

"We want you to scream!"

Chapter 21: The Wedding Part 2: Preparations

Jacob

The entire table was shocked at what just happened. We all sat there and kept staring back at Laura and Alice. How could they both predict the same thing at exactly the same time? Now that was just freaky!

Renesmee slightly shifted on my lap but accidently landed on my member. She gasped lowly.

I am so sorry Jake, She projected blushing viciously. I just waved her off. It kind of felt good, I mean Renesmee's a very attractive girl and I'm so excited to marry her and I sure as hell couldn't wait for the honeymoon. Not the time Jacob!

Edward growled lowly as he took a glance at me.

"What-what do you see Alice?" Jasper began as he went over to her side. She stared up at him then back at the family as she tried to concentrate.

"I don't know, the vision is blurry, all I see is darkness but I hear Cary screaming." She retorted in frustration.

"Laura?" Edward asked her. The whole family snapped their heads to her. "What do you feel?"

"I can't explain it but…I feel like she's in trouble." Laura said with a frustrated frown. Rosalie and Emmett came up to her, with Emmett already clenching his fists at the thought of his daughter in any kind of danger.

"How much trouble?" he asked her. She looked in thought then shook his head.

"I can't…I can't feel her anymore."

"What about you Alice?" Doc asked incredously.

"I can see her but something or someone's trying to block my vision." She cried out.

Rosalie looked like she was about to cry at any second at the thought of Carmen held captive again.

"Why did she leave to Jamie's?" Rosalie said to herself, beating herself down for letting her go. Emmett then comforted her.

"She's going to be okay, we'll have our daughter back soon…" He said positively but I knew he was unsure himself. It was weird to see Emmett's immature funny side not vaporizing around him anymore. Maybe it's the fact his daughter's in trouble again…heck that is the fact!

"What's going on here?" We heard Cathy's voice ringed into the house as she came into the room with Seth behind on her tail. She stared at us curiously.

"Oh Cathy!" Rosalie cried out as she ran over to her daughter and pulled her into her arms. Cathy laughed a little.

"I miss you too mom but I really was just gone for two hours." Cathy tapered her eyes saying this. She then shifted her gaze to everyone in the room and she could not only feel but visualize the dullness coming from everyone.

"What's going on here?" She stared between everyone then back at her mom and dad who looked terrified. "It seems like somehow someone in the family got kidnapped or something." She giggled.

Nobody answered.

Instead we all stared at the ground.

Cathy took this as a sign to say she predicted correctly. She stared between all of us, analyzing every single person in the room.

"Where's Carmen?" She questioned everyone.

Everyone spun their heads to Rosalie and Emmett.

"We also need a satisfactory explanation ourselves." Rosalie said to her daughter. Cathy frowned.

"What do you mean?" Cathy canvassed even though she knew where this was heading.

"Carmen's been taken." Edward stated.

Cathy widened her eyes at this…

… …

Carmen

"Please let me go." I pleaded weakly.

The four dark figures that I saw at the party were standing right in front of me in a guarding stance.

I tried breaking through the ropes/chains/wire whatever that was holding me but I failed miserably.

It was pitch darkness, it was absolute darkness. Not even my super enhanced senses could detect what was going on around me. But really, the only question I should be asking myself is: Where I was...

... ...

The family barged out of the house and split up, trying to look for possible places Carmen could have headed to.

The women with the exception of my mother -because we all needed her shield- , all stayed home in order to protect the house.

Jake and Seth with some of the pack members went out looking for Carmen with my Dad, Bella and Carlisle whilst a few stayed at the Cullen house to look after the women.

Laura and I didn't agree to being apart from our family and thought we could've been of help but everyone turned against our suggestion...

And by everyone, we mean Jake, Jason and Dad because they thought it was insane because we won't be safe and all but we assured them that we're strong enough, and realizing that was a stupid thing to say because they brought up the fact that Laura's human and I'm half human and our protection applies to us, we eventually decided to oblige.

But that wasn't going to happen.

I know you're thinking it was reckless to sneak out but what other choice did we have?

Hey! We convinced Jason to take us to the mall once, we could've surely convinced him we could help them.

And so we did...with a little help from Laura, sort-of-kind-of seducing him with the Laura-effect.

He said we could help if we searched around the Cullen territory or close to the home and not out roaming the entire Washinton state.

We assured him we'd contact him at all times.

Laura and I drove over to the gas station as Laura said her car needed to be filled up.

"Okay. So Jace just text me, saying that Emmett, Jasper and Cathy got ahold of Derek and he'll be helping them."

Laura nodded.

"Have they got any leads?" She asked. I shrugged.

"I don't know but they've got the highest possible area that Carmen could have been taken." I told her.

"Seattle." She stated with a soft snigger.

One thing I've noticed about Laura is she laughs when she's in an uncompromising situation.

Seattle was where all the usual crime scenes were in Washington because well... It is a busy city.

I sighed.

"But I don't think she could be there either. It couldn't have been that easy." I replied.

"Then where could she be?" Laura asked.

I darted my eyes forward and stared out the window and at the dark night.

I felt a warm hand nudging my arm.

"Hey," Laura whispered. I tilted my head at her. "Everything's going to be okay."

"It's just...I can't take this pain that my family has to suffer anymore Laur. We're trying to live a normal life but are chances of that happening has been narrowed down to nothing. What if we can't find Carmen? What if she could be dead? What happens then?" I asked.

Laura nodded.

"You can't afford to think lile that Ness. Life is full of obstacles and this might seem like life and death but it's just an obstacle you need to overcome." Laura planted. I arched my head onto the car seat. "And judging by the amount of times this family has saved they world, I think this could just be a little hurdle you need to jump over."

I laughed and shook my head.

"When can we just end the race?" I questioned.

"Sadly, I think it'll be going on forever." She joked. I rolled my eyes.

"Look at us! We're talking in sport points." I tapered my eyes.

She giggled then unbuckled her seatbelt and unfurled the door.

"Now!" She began as she got out. "Don't wanna waste any time...why don't you grab a card from the visor to help me fill up...uh...Forks Credit Union."

I nodded and looked for her cards and looked for it when I found it, I was immediately stopped when I saw her fuel indicator to see that she already had a full tank.

I frowned.

"Hey Laura! It looks like you have a full tank." I stated as I spun my head to the side but only to see that she wasn't there. I frowned.

"Laura?" I called out as I unbuckled my seatbelt and opened the door. As I got out of the car, I heard a silent scream.

I frowned.

"Ness!" I heard Laura exclaim.

I began sauntering over to her to see her eyes fixed at something at the back alley of the gas station.

"Are you okay?" I questioned as I got closer to see her lips quivering and tears streaming down her face but her eyes never blinking and never tearing away from her gaze.

She motioned for me to follow her gaze.

I tilted my head slowly, knowing what was ahead.

My thoughts were answered when I saw a decayed/decomposed body disposed into the back door and blood streaming down the rough pavement.

I widened my eyes.

... ...

"What does it look like? Can you send pictures?" He asked. I cleared my throat at the god-reeking smell.

"Okay...um...I have to remind you that I have a 4.0 AP in Biology...but there are parts of the human anatomy that I've never seen before in these walls!" I gasped as I jumped over a pool of blood and a right limb.

"Send a picture!" Jason exclaimed.

"Um...I don't think you'd want to see that." Laura said over the phone as she gagged.

"Just send the pictures!" Jason said.

"Why?" I asked my brother.

"Because I think I know what could be happening..."

Laura and I stared at each other.

This couldn't be good.

... ...

Rosalie

My daughter.

My poor helpless daughter had been taken away from me yet again!

I couldn't take it anymore. I was literally running out of my mind at the fact that my daughter could be endangered.

What if she's already been stripped out of my life? Because that's how I'm feeling!

I couldn't stand to be here, where I could be helping my family search for my baby! Mine!

"Where are you going?" Esme asked as she followed me to the door.

"Doing something any mother could have done!" I stated hoping she'd understand but not caring because she wasn't going to stop me. Nobody was!

"Okay," She said warmly. "Be safe."

Always am...

I marched out of the house and began running for the woods.

I was determined to find my daughter and if ever I meet up with whoever took my daughter...

I will not hesitate to slaughter them into ashes...

... ...

Cathy

After running around the entire Seattle with my family and with the help of Derek and almost the entire state and came around with no sign of Carmen.

We didn't intially find Derek...he sorta found us.

As my family and I ran through the woods but decided to take a break for my sake because I'm still a half-human after all and we found him standing at the center with his hands in his pockets staring at us with an emotionless face...

The dude's creepy.

Well anyway...

He stated we were in his territory that he marked and he and my dad kind of had a mis-fallout but we later explained to him about the situation and he thought he could have been of somewhat help?

I couldn't understand what my sister saw in him other than his good-looks and that bad boy rep going for him...okay! I see exactly why she has a huge crush on him.

We ran over to where Brody was having his party at his house to see a line of cop cars and an ambulance vehicle, circulating around the house.

I caught a few cops around someone who I couldn't make out but soon came to the conclusion that it was Brody as I saw his curly golden locks and blue eyes that were filled with terror.

I sauntered over to the group.

"The last time you saw her was at the basement right?" One of the cops asked him. He nodded his head.

"Do you remember anything else?" One of the cops asked him. He didn't answer as he rocked himself, clutching the blanket around him.

"Anything else?" The cops asked again.

"Brody?" The other older cop questioned almost impatiently.

"I'm sorry," He gasped out, with his voice hoarse and strained. He must've been crying in fear. "It just happened so fast!"

I didn't like the sound of that. The cops scribbled something down and assured him everything was going to be okay and walked away whilst I just stood in front of him.

He looked up and I couldn't quite make out his expression but I could safely say it was filled with relief and fear.

He should be afraid since this was his mess!

"Cathy-"

"You're a fucking idiot!" I snarled. "You caused all of this you jerk!"

"I didn't mean to I-" He said apologetically but I couldn't be sympathetic right now.

"Where is she?" I questioned as I stared at the surrounding. "Where was she?" I exclaimed as I gripped the towel and glared at him.

He tried moving his gaze away from me as tears began streaming off his cheeks and sobbed almost immediately.

One of the cops gripped my shoulder and pulled me away from him.

I suddenly felt my mother holding me tight. I lifted my head at her with wide eyes.

"Let it go Cathy," She said but slightly glaring at Brody who tried to avoid us as he cried hysterically.

What was she doing here?

But I soon took that thought away as I realized that any mother would stop at nothing to make sure her children are safe.

"I just can't believe this guy." I groaned.

"What good would have given? He's mortified, look at him." Rosalie said as she motioned to a helpless Brody.

"You're seriously giving him sympathy right now?" I questioned in irritation.

"All I'm saying is he isn't much help for us anyway." She told me.

I sighed.

My father, Derek and Uncle Jasper soon came up to us.

"There isn't any duty for us to be here anymore." Derek said.

"Laura called and she had another prediction saying that she's somewhere in Forks but she couldn't quite put her finger on where."

I sighed...

This doesn't make sense.

Then my father immediately growled as he stared at Brody.

"Is he the guy?" He asked me. I nodded then he began walking over to him but was stopped immediately by my mom gripping his arm.

"Now's not the time Emmett." She said. He gritted his teeth and clenched his fists before he refrained from killing the human and turning to his wife.

I couldn't help but notice Derek kept his gaze on Brody and smiled as if he saw something he needed. Like an asset of some sort.

"So what do we do next?" Emmett asked.

"We keep on searching..." Jasper said.

I halted as a thought came into mind.

We've searched every area except for one...

"The school..." I stated. Everyone glanced at me. "The school...I think Carmen's at the school..."

"Well let's go." Derek stated.

"Rose. Take Cathy home," Dad asked mom. I frowned.

Did he just say that?

"Oh I'm not going anywhere. I'm coming with you," I confirmed. They glared at me.

"Cathy-"

"No! I'm not leaving until we find Carmen."

"And we will...you just need to stay home with the others. For safety purposes." My mother assured me. "With your dad, Jasper and Derek it's an easy win."

"What about you?" I asked her.

"I want you both there! Where I know you're safe. I can't lose anymore women I love!" My dad said in pain.

At that moment, I almost regretted bringing it up...almost.

"I'm not going anywhere!" I said stubbornly as I crossed my arms. Rosalie looked up at Emmett and shrugged.

"Okay." She said. My dad's eyes bulged. "You can go with them. Just be safe."

Then she planted a kiss on my forehead.

"You know the words," She reminded me. I smiled.

"I love you too mom."

"Rose-" My dad began.

"Take care of her and find our daughter." She said to my father then got on her tiptoe and planted a kiss on his lips. He sighed in defeat as they pulled away and nodded.

We then took off to the direction of the school as my mother ran to the direction of mainland.

My dad, Jasper, Derek and I reached the school grounds and I twisted the knobs and groaned as I failed to open them.

"It's locked. There's no way in." I said. I titled my head to the side to see there was a back door. "There-"

But I was cut off by the sound of glass shattering and my dad reaching his hand out inside and unfurling the door. I widened my eyes at him.

"I'll pay." He growled.

I sighed as I entered the school with them on my trails.

We located every possible room Carmen might have been in.

Then suddenly as if on cue, my phone vibrated. I pulled it out of my pocket to see Laura's Caller ID.

I answered.

"Laura?" I asked. No answer. "Laura are you okay?"

"She's there!" She screamed. I frowned. "She's there I swear!"

"Where Laura? Where?" I questioned.

Then the line broke off. I groaned and called her back. She answered on the fifth ring.

"Hey,"

"Laura-"

"This is Laura and you missed me! Please leave a message."

Voicemail!

"What's going on?" My dad asked.

I go to the call log and dial her number yet again and she went straight to voicemail. I sighed.

No cell-service!

This is not happening.

"Can any of you catch her scent?" I asked. They shook their heads.

"Nothing...not even a sniff!" Emmett stated. I sighed as I gnawed my lip

"What does her scent smell like?" Derek asked.

"Vanilla and Orchid why?" I asked him as he slouched down and sniffled the air. Living up to his werewolf title huh?

"I can try catching it in my wolf form." He said.

Then suddenly, he lowered down his head and he lifted his back and right fist on the ground as he transformed.

Then he lifted his head up where we could see his sharp canine teeth, dark hair growing out of cheeks, he's face shrunk in, eyebrow's fierced and sharp claws spreading out of his fingers.

He released a piercing growl that shook the entire school like an earthquake. I had to literally cover my ears for that.

He stared forward and fluttered his eyes open where he showcased his light ocean blue eyes that glowed brightly. No hint of his normal green at all.

Something about his transformation still looked humanly, however, he was a lot larger than he was previously as he slowly began lifting himself up from the ground and panted lightly.

He was fascinating...

Then I gasped as I realized something.

"The last time you saw was in the basement right?"

"The basement..." I affirmed and began running to where our basement was.

When we got there, we were bombarded with school supplies and broken down equipment stuff...

No Carmen...

Laura's phone call finally came through and I answered.

"Nothing?" She asked.

"No." I simply replied.

"I don't understand." She whispered, mostly to herself. "She has to be there."

I stared at my surroundings and released that there was something different about it.

I sauntered over to the back wall and lay the side of my head against it as I tried listening to the bang of my knuckles. It echoed from the outside.

I widened my eyes.

Derek and Emmett came up to me and I pointed to the wall. They nodded, knowing exactly what I meant and they stared at each other for a moment, before giving the wall the biggest punch they could muster and it literally broke through.

When we walked through it, we were in a giant empty room. Dark cemented-stoned walls covering the room. It almost looked like...

"A vault." Derek stated as if he read my mind. I stared at everything which wasn't much.

The huge whole in the wall we created had slowly began closing like a portal. I stared up at Derek who just stared down at me as if he were surprised as I was.

"Well well...well." We heard a voice echo. "I didn't know I had guests..."

Derek groaned.

"I've heard that voice before..." He snarled under his breath.

I stared up at him.

"Who is it?" I asked him.

He sighed.

"Oh Derek! Did you bring me a present?" The walls echoed.

"Why don't you see for yourself?" Derek questioned as he stared at his surroundings.

"You should know I'm too self-centered for that." He said then we suddenly heard a loud bang and piercingly loud scream reached our ears.

Then the whole entire room began transforming into something different.

The room became bigger, will the walls lifting higher and large patterned-windows being available.

Then suddenly, mirror glass walls met our attention and I stared at my figure at the synchronised mirrors.

Then suddenly a figure appeared at the center of the room and I squinted my eyes to see that it was...

Carmen?

I didn't think twice as I began running over to her but was stopped when four dark figures appeared out of nowhere.

They were all covered in dark cloaks and a masked-face with black mist appearing around them.

"Who are you?" Jasper asked the four men who stood in a protective unmovable stance around Carmen who was tied up.

They didn't answer.

They didn't even move a muscle.

"Answer us! Who are you?" My dad snarled aggresively as he marched over to them but immediately halted as the men held up their weapons in unison and stood defensively.

They slowly began marching over to us simultaneously and we backed away slowly.

I ran over to the doors and tried unfurling them but struggled shamelessly as they were tightly shut.

Shoot!

We're stuck.

We watched as Derek, Emmett and Jasper fight off those men in black coats, however, even though the gang were managing, the men were multiplying.

They needed back up.

"How can we stop them?" Jasper growled as he went in for the right hook but was blocked by one the cloaked men.

"I don't think we can!" Derek exclaimed back as he tried dodging the knives - but getting cut during the process.

"Get Carmen, I'll hold them off!" Emmett exclaimed.

Diego and I stared at each other before he immediately plastered on a straight face and began running to Carmen.

"Diego wait!" I tried to stop him but was immediately bounced back and onto a wall as he got closer to Carmen. I widened my eyes.

It's like a force-field prevented him from getting closer.

Carmen screamed through the cloth that was wrapped around her mouth as she saw Diego lay unconscious on the ground.

"What was that?" I questioned.

Derek slammed one of the men onto the ground hard that it left a huge mark and took a glare at Carmen where I could see all his sharp fangs and canine claws.

"It's a dome!" He exclaimed. "Fraxinus texensisn," He said. "It prevents any supernatural from coming near a marked territory."

Marked territory?

Fraxinus texensis?

As in an ash tree?

"So that'll mean..." I began.

"A human can help us in this case!" Derek snarled as he maneuvered himself from the man's grasp. He groaned as he felt a knife slash his chest, ripping a piece of his sweater in the process.

A human like...Laura?

Why couldn't Diego use his ability? I mean why couldn't he duplicate a human version of himself?

Oh wait...he's unconscious!

Wait! I've seen something like this before!

I know what to do.

I immediately ran over to Carmen. My father growled.

"What are you doing?" He asked but was immediately slashed with a sword. I gnawed my lip a little as I stared at the force-field.

The outcome of this would probably kill me or injure me immensely. Either way...it won't be pretty!

I stared at my almost impaled sister as tears ran down her cheeks. She seemed so close yet so far from me. All I wanted to do was reach out to her.

Then I darted my eyes back to my family to see them struggling.

I watch as my dad get held by the head and the masked man clutching it hard and lines forming.

I shifted my gaze at Derek who was pinned againts the wall with sharp knives cutting right through his skin.

Then I watched as my Uncle Jasper being held down by the neck with the third cloaked man hovering over him and the fourth one walking up to me with his sledgehammer being dragged.

I closed my eyes.

"I'm sorry Carmen. I love you so much. And no matter what happens. I want you to be happy..." I murmured, hoping she could hear.

I lifted my right hand slowly and leaned it towards the ash tree force-field.

I fluttered my eyes open to see that the force-field was shimmering. I frowned.

Then I spun around to see that Derek's eyes had been shut. He was probably knocked out!

"Guys, give in!" I exclaimed.

"Are you crazy?" My dad shouted and glared at me, as if I were a mental patient at an instituition, through the man's grasp.

"They may be stronger than we are but we can still take them!" Jasper said.

"No!" I retorted. "I think I know what's happening."

"The force-field's power's lowering down because Derek and Diego are unconcious. They're not performing any supernatural action! So what we have to do is wait for the field to lower down its power completely in order to get to Carmen!" I said.

I took a few steps back away from the force-field and I watched as my family allowed the oblivious masked-creatures to dominate them and the masked ninja saunter up to me.

The force-field began shimmering and shrinking slowly.

It was working.

The masked-men were tearing everybody apart.

Derek looked just about as dead as a mauled human-being. Blood had been dripping out of his mouth.

My Uncle Jasper's scars had been healed however, you could see the pain in his eyes. The unbearable pain.

My dad however, was still trying to hold on to dear life...even if it were for the third time!

He was trying to be strong for all of us.

But you could see in his eyes that he also couldn't take the pain anymore than we all could.

The masked-man lifted his sledgehammer at me and I could feel the thudding of my heart began to slow down as my life was just about to be taken.

Then suddenly...

The room had a sense of fore-coming as light began lifting from grounds and high up to the sealing.

The masked-ninja's -as I call them now- stare back at the huge glass windows, to see the morning sun in full view.

Something happened in a blink of an eye as they suddenly disppeared into thin air...like dust...

I stared at my surroundings in confusion.

"What just happened?" Dad questioned in complete bewilderment at what just happened.

"They disappeared. They literally just vanished." I gasped out in shock.

Then the doors were immediately opened and in entered Jason with Bella, Rosalie, Edward, Jake and Seth behind him.

"Holy shit!" Jason said as he stared at all of us.

Everyone ran over to us all. I spun around and ran over to Carmen who had been shedding countless teardrops into a puddle.

I untied her ropes and released the cloth from her mouth and she immediately threw herself at me. I wrapped my arms around her and closed my eyes as I indulged at my sister being in my arms.

"You're okay." I assured her. "It's all over."

"I'm so-sorry," She cried out.

"What happened here?" Bella asked as she and Jake helped Derek up from the ground.

Rosalie helped my dad up from the ground whilst Edward helped Jasper.

Seth came running up to me and immediately inserted me into his strong large arms. I wrapped my arms around his body and breathed in his scent.

The one thing I needed to calm me down at this point.

"I'm so glad you're all safe." He whispered in my hair as he kissed it.

"I'm so glad she's safe." I stated.

"Guys!" Jason exclaimed in panic. We spun around to see him staring at the walls. "There is someone here with us."

I stared up at Seth.

Then as if on cue, we heard a loud bang attract the wall as if an earthquake had struck the room. The loud bang increased as the walls began to deteriorate as long cracks began to show.

Then it became quiet.

I frowned as I stared at the confused group.

Seth and I stared at each other and began walking up to the group.

The walls were immediately blown up and blew most of us back.

Then smoke began clogging the room and the humans coughed up and I watched as Seth fall down onto the ground. Same thing happened to Jake and Derek. I gasped as I reached down and tried to help him up but it was too clouded to see anything.

"What's happening?" Rosalie called out.

I lifted my head and moved my eyes to see three figures walking up to us with equipment wrapped around them.

The smoke began leaving the room and we got a better look at the unknown people.

They didn't smell supernatural.

We looked up to see three men covered in dark coats and guns and tazers on either side of them.

"And we have a jackpot!" We heard one of the men say.

The doors were suddenly open when two peopled entered the room.

We stood protectively but soon ceased our stance when it was just Laura and Renesmee.

"Oh great!" Jake said with a sigh.

"So I see we have a line up of supes here!" The middle man laughed.

"Should we take em?" The other asked.

"Sir?" One of them asked out of thin air.

We immediately heard footsteps coming out of the shadows and a bulky looking man with a grey coat on came into view.

He looked a little over his youth, probably in late fourties with chestnut hair, olive-pale skin and light blue eyes.

He looked familiar.

"Oh I don't know. Let's hear there side of the story." He said as he gave a sly devillish grin.

His voice sounded so familiar. I've heard it before.

"Dad?" Laura asked. Everyone spun their heads at her as she stood there in complete shock.

Laura's father stared at her and he widened his eyes.

"What are you doing here Laura? Shouldn't you be at home?" He questioned. She didn't answer.

"I don't believe this." She murmured as she took a step back and shook her head.

"Who are they?" I asked.

"Hunters." Jason stated.

Her father's face looked strained yet still fierce.

"The code sir..." The man reminded him. Laura's father released a smile as he took a step forward and darted his eyes at our family.

"I knew there was something weird about this family but I was convinced I was just hallucinating but now I have proof." He said slyly.

"What do you mean?" Seth asked.

He glared at him.

"I mean. How you're all fairytale creatures so to say." He said. He shifted his gaze to Bella and Edward. "Vampire." He then moved his eyes to Jake. "Shapeshifter." Then he turned to Carmen and I. "But here we have an unusual breed of Vampire/Human?"

Then he caught the eyes of Derek as he stood up, completely healed however he was drenched in blood.

"And Derek Parker..." He grinned widely.

"Chasseur" Derek replied as his eyes glowed. I frowned.

Chasseur? What did that mean?

"We have the Omega we've been looking for men." He said. "Take him away." He informed them.

The men began marching over to him however was stopped by the sound of humming echoing the room.

"Before you do that." The man from before exclaimed. "You missed one..." He said.

Everyone frowned.

"Who said that?" Bella said.

"And what is it talking about?" Jake asked.

"Okay I'll give a little hint..." It gave a sinister voice. "Your daughter..."

Jerry stared back at Laura and everyone elses eyes were on her. She frowned.

"What do you mean?"

"Huh? We've been looking for the wrong girl when the right girl had been in our hands all this time." The voice replied.

"What does he mean?" Laura asked.

"Oh! She doesn't know what she is? This is so rich!" It gave a sinister laugh. "She doesn't know she's a Banshee."

I frowned.

Banshee?

"I'm a what?" Laura asked.

"A Banshee..." Derek stated. "The wailing woman in that pre-historic Irish story."

"The story goes on for centuries." Jasper whispered. "I didn't know it still continued."

"Uh...but what kind?" The voice pointed out. "There are three types of Banshee's: Elementals, Life and most popular...Death."

"However, this new theories amazing. Her abilities seek out the supernatural. But it hasn't been enhanced yet."

"What the hell are you talking about?" Jerry questioned.

"You'll find out soon enough..." The voice said. "Interesting...anyway. I hate to be a party pooper but Renesmee? Did you know you have another half?"

Renesmee frowned.

"What the hell is this freakshow talking about?" She asked as stared at everyone. We all duck our heads.

"Oh...why don't you ask your mom?" The voice said. Renesmee stared at her mother in confusion.

"Why don't you show yourself?" Emmett asked.

"How should we trust you with all of this?" Jason asked.

"You'll find out soon enough..." He repeated. "Just know I'm the source that'll determine whether your family line lives or not."

"Anyway... Where was I? Oh. Renesmee! You should enjoy your wedding. Don't let your twin ruin your honeymoon huh..."

Jake, Seth, Emmett, Jasper and Jason have been trying to figure out a way to find out where the voice was coming from but the man just laughed at their efforts.

Renesmee and Bella stared at each other.

"Oh this is a little awkward...I guess I'll leave you all to some family healing."

"No wait!" Edward retorted.

"Goodbye." He said.

Then the voice literally just vanished.

The hunters then grabbed Derek and took him away from us. I shouted.

"No. Wait! Where are you taking him?" I asked.

They didn't answer as they scrammbled out. Derek gave us a glare but it wasn't an angry glare, it was a glare to inform us that he will be okay and we needed to sort our own problems.

Jerry sauntered over to Laura and she just moved back and shook her head.

"Laura I-"

"Just go dad!" She urged.

He sighed after long moments and reluctantly left the room and she cried in Jason's chest.

"I don't know him anymore."

"What's happened?" Renesmee laughed nervously. She glared at the mom. "What does he mean mom?"

She didn't answer.

"What does he mean?"

This family needed some healing alright

... ...

After the long saunter on the beach with Jacob, it was getting quite dark as the sun began to set and Alice required I needed to have a good sleep for tomorrow so we cut our little date short.
"So, are you excited for tomorrow?" Jacob asked as he reached for my hand and wrapped it with his large warm hand. I smiled at him.

"Of course I am it's just what my parents hid from me really is going to be a party pooper." I said with a slight chuckle but really I was hurting. Jacob gave me a sympathetic look. "Are you?" I asked him changing the subject. He just nodded.

"Yeah…" He said with a smile but he wasn't too convincing.

"But?" I asked him. He didn't answer. "I know there's a 'but' in there," I laughed as we passed the forest and reached the cottage. He stood against the wooded door and released a sigh. I stood in front of him with my arms crossed waiting for him to answer.

"I'm nervous," He said embarrassedly. I smiled at how cute he looked. "It's not funny Ness," He said with a pout.

I giggled uncontrollably.

"Is that what you're worried about?" I asked him.

"Well sorry for…forget it. It's nothing." He said with a sigh and moved his gaze to the forest. I sighed and took a step forward and wrapped my arms around his warm body and lay my head on his hard chest.

"Jake…" I whispered to him as I now looked up at him. His dark brown eyes met mine. "We can do this." I assured him. He scoffed.

I knew Jacob was worried about the outcome of tomorrow; he was worried if he was ready to take that huge step in our relationship. Even though we're imprinted and meant to be together we all have out nerve insecurities. I didn't blame him, I was also afraid to be honest.

"I know it's just…I love you so much Renesmee." He said to me.

"I love you too Jacob," I said with a laugh. "But you worry too much." I told him. He smiled back. "I mean I'm nervous as well…"

"About what?" he asked me. I just shook my head and I could feel my cheeks firing. "Come on, tell me." He ushered as he wrapped his arm around my shoulder.

"I can't."

"Please Nessie," He begged as he stroked my chin with the hand that was in his pocket. I shook my hand as I held his hand and laying it on my cheek stroking it.

"The honeymoon," I simply said.

"Yeah, that's where all newly married couples do right?" Jacob said more of a question. I laughed.

"No not that." I said. "Um…I don't know how to…uh…do it?" I said embarrassedly. He frowned.

"Do what?" He asked confusedly.

"You know…" I said hoping he'd figure out what I meant. He nodded understandingly then my cheeks burned even more.

I expected him to change the subject to something different but he began laughing. He laughed.

"What's so funny?" I asked him.

He was laughing hysterically and couldn't control it at all. I blushed then looked down at the green grass.

"Are you serious?" He managed to utter. I glared at him.

"So it's just hilarious for you?" I asked him. His laughter slowed down when he saw my angry face.

"No," He muttered. I rolled my eyes and moved away from him and unlocked the door.

"You're not mad at me are you?" He asked.

After unfurling the door I entered the cottage and turned around to face him. I flashed him a fake smile.

"No, I'm not mad at all Jacob," I told him. He released a sigh of relief.

"Whew! I thought you really were pissed-" I cut him off.

"You jerk!" I snarled and gave him the hardest punch I could muster into his gut. He groaned and then slammed the door shut. How could Jake laugh at my insecurities? How dare he?

I ran over to the couch and curled up in it with the cushion in my arms as I released the tears. How could Jake find my worries amusing? I shouldn't have told Jacob, I hate that I never listen to my instincts.

"Nessie, please open this door!" He called out as he roughly twisted the knob but not succeeding. "Look I'm sorry. I'm sorry for laughing at you it's just. I didn't understand why you were scared of something that we shouldn't worry about now because I know it'll be perfect, just the fact that we're with each other that way. There is no reason to be nervous baby, you're the most gorgeous and sexiest woman I've ever met and I can't explain how lucky I am. Just please open the door so I can have you in my arms again?" He said emotionally. He was sincere about it.

I thought about what he said for a second. Maybe I shouldn't worry about tomorrow. I'm sure it won't be that bad, just by being with him will make everything perfect.

"Look I get that you don't want to talk to me but I just want to know that you've forgiven me." Jacob said releasing how quiet I was. I got up from the couch and sauntered over to the door and unlocked it. I slowly opened it. He stared at me with a sad face.

"Ness, I'm sorry-" He began but I cut him off by grabbing hold of his face with both hands and pulling him down for a kiss.

He smiled at me when we finally pulled away.

"That's a really good way of telling me to shut up." He said sexily. I laughed as he repeated the words I said to him the day he told me he imprinted on me and he confessed his love for me.

I pulled him into the house and shut the door. We began walking over to the living room and he collapsed onto the couch with me lying on top of him. We stared into each other's eyes.

"Are you okay?" He asked. I nodded. He smiled and switched the TV on with the remote and an action flick popped on the screen.

I fiddled with my fingers as I was stuck in my thinking process.

"Jake?"

"Hmm?" he asked.

"Do you ever wonder why our family can't be just left alone?" I conjectured. He stared back into my eyes.

"What do you mean?" He asked.

"Will we ever be a normal family?" I canvassed. He simpered.

"No family in this universe is normal." He simply replied.

I nodded in complete understanding as I kept my eyes fixed in his brown eyes. There's no way our family will ever be normal…and I don't want them to.

I abruptly leaned down to peck his lips for a brief second and pulled away so I could get comfortable in Jacob's arms.

… …

"On the big day Friday, breakfast on the deck and later the women will pimp and groom whilst the men play football." Alice ran down the schedule for the

By now Jake was currently kissing my shoulder.

"Oh now back to the reception. Rental chairs and lanterns will be set on the lawn of where…I have to keep secret from the bride and groom." Alice giggled. "The ceremony begins at 1:00 pm sharp and dinner and dancing to follow."

"And on Saturday morning you and Jacob will be Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Ephraim Black!" Laura said with a happy smile. I smiled back at her.

It was so great that Laura was at least being lively after what happened. What she found out…

It'll be kind of hard to wrap our heads out of the situation but hopefully these coming days will at least give us the time to figure out our lives I guess.

And first up was married life...

... ...

I was awoken by a tapping noise on my window. The tapping noise was loud and getting louder. I suddenly jerked awake and frowned. What if it could be an intruder? God I really hate being alone even though I insisted. But I'm sure it's some animal or the wind breezing and tree barks were hitting my window so I decided to fall back to sleep.

Another tap…

"Ness!" I heard a faint whisper from outside. It was so familiar. "

It sounded like…Jacob?

I got out of my covers and began sauntering my way to my childhood room window. I opened it widely to see Jacob standing outside without his shirt on. His hair was spiky and his body was dripping from water and that internally made me want to jump on him because he was so freaking hot! I bit my lip lightly. He smiled and I knew he caught me staring at him.

"What are you doing here?"

"I just wanted to see you," He said with the signature smile I loved so much. I blushed.

"Yeah and I probably won't see you at the altar tomorrow. Alice's going to kill you! You shouldn't be here Jake!" I said angrily even though I was ecstatic to see Jacob.

"I'm not afraid of that pixie." He chuckled. I smiled slightly.

"And what's up with you popping in out of nowhere? Shouldn't you be at a Bachelor Party?" I questioned.

"It was kinda getting suckish since all the guys got drunk and got out of hand with all the dancing and complaints about their wives being over-dramatic. So I just thought: Why not go see my future wife who I'd never get tired of." He said intelligently. I tapered my eyes and punched him lightly on the stomach.

"You're cute." I told him.

"I still can't believe my family kept it from me! I mean what am I? Chopped liver! I'm the one with a twin sister as well. And what's worse is they told me the day before my wedding!" I released my rant. Jacob held my sides.

"Breathe Ness, breathe." He said to me. I released a heavy breath. "We don't know if it's true or not. I'm pretty sure they meant well for not telling you."

I frowned at him. So he was taking their side now?

"I don't believe that. They lied to me!"

"Listen. They're still trying to process the information as well so calm down. This is the reason why they didn't tell you sooner. They didn't want to see you angry a day before your wedding day and I don't blame them for that. Let's just be happy for tomorrow and only then we'll figure this situation out together alright?" He asked me. I thought for a moment before sighing and nodded my head.

"But only for tomorrow. I'm not forgiving them that easily." I told him.

He sighed.

"Come on Ness," He said worriedly. I just rolled my eyes and turned my back towards him. He grabbed me by the arm when I was walking away from him. "Look. I'm sorry."

I stared into his puppy dog eyes. Worst weakness!

"Can't face the fact you love me?" He asked. I shrugged then he moved forward and laid his hands either side of me. "I love you?"

I laughed.

"Sure sure," I told him as I took my place on the edge of my bed with my hands between my legs. "I don't know. This whole issue's really stressing me out." I retorted as I rubbed my head.

Jacob smirked a little then took a seat by me and removed a strand of hair from my eyes.

"You still wanna talk about it?" He asked. I scoffed.

"You can't possibly consider it as a singular issue!" I laughed. "I mean, I have to stress over what happened to Carmen, what Laura must be feeling right now, and trying to save my family's lives." I told him. "Oh and dear god the wedding…"

I trailed off as I held my face in my hand.

"All I'm trying to do is get everyone happy…so that I'm convinced everything's alright." I muttered inaudibly but for sure Jacob heard as he sniggered under his breath.

"I get that you're trying to ease up all the tension around the house but really Ness, it's nothing you should stress about. All your life you've tried to make everyone happy but the truth is that you're the one that's unhappy. It's not selfish to think about yourself once in a while…" He told me. I stared back into his eyes and nodded.

"You want me to get you some painkillers?" He asked.

"You know that would be really good right now!" I said. He laughed and pressed his lips on my temple before getting off the bed and leaving my room.

God! What did I do to deserve such an awesome guy like Jake? –However cliché that must have sounded.

I heard a vibration coming from my nightstand and I spun around to see Jake's phone vibrating as he got a text...and another…and another.

I frowned as I got up from the edge of the bed and walked up to the stand and retrieved his phone and began reading the texts asking Jake to call her back.

Bella…

It was from my mom.

I knew my mom and Jake were close but not that close to still text each other.

I suddenly received a voicemail as I read the text.

"Jake…I have no idea what do now. I'm freaking out. Renesmee hates me now that I didn't tell her about…it. I'm sure you're probably with her now but I really need to talk to someone who knew this from the beginning."

…From the beginning?

"Hey, I don't think your parents stocked any painkillers because come on, a house full of vampires." Jake's voice came into my ears as he said, with a soft chuckle but stopped when he saw me staring at his phone. "Ness-"

"I can't believe you knew." I said inaudibly but I was pretty sure he heard. I slowly lifted my head to meet his eyes which literally broke me.

"Knew what? Nessie-" He asked as he set the glass of water and the pill on the nightstand.

"I can't believe you'd hide this from me and I'm supposedly your entire life!" I exclaimed as I handed him the phone.

He frowned in complete befuddlement as he stared at my expression then he ceased his frown in realization.

"Ness I-" He began as he sauntered up to me but I stopped him by holding a fist on his hard stomach, pushing him away.

"Knowing that my family knows about things that involve me and never tell me is one thing but to know my own fiancé, betrayed me really stinks!" I spoke with my voice raising high.

"Renesmee, I didn't want to keep any of that information from you but your parents told me that it was for your own good-" He told me. I laughed.

"Oh so, you'd lie to me instead so you can protect my heart from getting hurt? Huh? Is that it? That's barrage bullshit because guess what! You've already done more damage than what could have been."

Jake stared at the ground instead on trying to cover up his ass. I guess that was a sign for me to continue.

"I know when we usually have these kinds of arguments we'd make up in like 5 minutes but you know what? I'm done. I'm done with all the lies, grief and pain I've suffered." I retorted emotionally as I felt warm tears welling up in my eyes about ready to fall. I sniffled.

"I-I don't think…" I paused as I stared at the ground. "I don't think I can handle forgiveness anymore. There's no way I can handle this much pain, no matter how stuck up that sounds."

"Renesmee, I didn't mean for this to happen. I never want to hurt you. You're the love of my life and I know that not telling you was really stupid of me, you probably hate me. I know, I know." Jake said, taking his seat on the edge of the bed, with his head in his hands in front of me.

I really tried not softening up at the state he was in. I had a small visceral reaction in my gut. It was probably the imprint feels and I had no time for it right now.

"I just never thought it'll go this far. Your mom said I should just keep it from you at least until the wedding."

"So, she thought she'd just let me get married so I'll be somewhat happy and this whole issue wouldn't have such an effect on me?" I asked.

"I know that must sound really…shity to hear-"

"Oh you have no idea!" I sighed.

"But you shouldn't be this angry, at least not this angry at them. They did it because they care for you. The reason why they kept it for this long is that they thought you'd take the news better when every stressful thing ceases." He said. "To be honest, I had no idea about it until the day we went to Sam's place."

"So you just found out about it?" I asked him, this time with less roughness of the voice. He looked up at me and nodded, flashing me a small smirk. "That doesn't change the fact that you lied to me Jake."

"I know, I just-" Jake got up from the bed and stood in front of me. I hid away from his gaze.

"I think it's best if you just leave." I simply said.

Jake frowned at me for a second before nodding in understanding.

"I just want you to know that I'm so-"

"Please go!" I urged him.

I knew there was no reason to be that harsh about the situation but I had no reason to be modest right now.

Question: How could I possibly in a relationship that had no trust whatsoever?!

Answer: You don't!

He simply nodded as he began walking up to the unwind window. He halted when he reached the near windowpane to turn to me.

"You know, you shouldn't be angry at your mom about this. She's only doing what she thought was right for her children. I'm sure you'd do the same…" He told me. "It's only human, even though we do inhuman acts."

I didn't reply but instead I just crossed my arms on my chest.

"I guess I'll see you at the altar…" He chuckled nervously. "Or not,"

Then his presence vanished as I spun around to reply to him.

Jake left…

And there was nothing I could do about it anymore because I didn't have the energy to.

After holding it in for quite a while, I crawled into my bed and literally cried myself –without any emotion at all, just tears running down my cheek– and dreamed on yet again a life of pain and suffering.

I couldn't go through with the wedding tomorrow…

… …

A/N: Hey guys! I'm back! *Whoa, five months?* Anyway I just wanted to state that the actual wedding might be pushed back a little to the next chapter still haven't decided but we're still going to see a little something, something. Thank you so much for the support, I know I was kind of on hiatus but…uh…I'm back!

Hope you liked this slightly dark chapter, I really want to bring in the adrenaline in this story, I'm trying to focus on the orginality of my story and not the cliche aspect such as, The Volturi attacking the Cullens. I hope you're enjoying it...

Who enjoyed Cathy saving the world?

Please review, follow and favorite because that'll make me write faster or I might go on hiatus again…Lol

Anyway, the nuptials are next chapter where we'll see Jake/Ness get married (Hopefully)…
