Open Warfare
Sasuke and Itachi ran forward at the line of Zetsus. They both tore into them, Sasuke using his Flame sword and Chokuto together and Itachi using a Ninjato. The rest of the massive army they had brought followed. Within seconds the army had obliterated a massive portion of the Zetsus. But then, the reanimated ninja began to appear. First came a wave of ninja Naruto didn't know. probably just strong ninjas that had died long ago. Then, came a line of stronger reincarnated shinobi. One had waist-length silver hair and a konoha flak jacket and was transparent and in a blue chakra bubble, flying into shinobi and possessing them, making them fight their allies. Another was older and had grey dreadlocks, a manchu mustache and trimmed beard, a yellow track suit, and was tearing through the Allied Shinobi Forces with nothing but Taijutsu. There was also the entirety of the Sound Four with Sakon and Ukon split in two as Kiba had described, a bald monk wearing the same style robe that the youngest pseudo-Jinchuriki had been, Hanzo of the Salamander, Hayate Gekko who was fighting Yugao, Hizashi Hyuga who was already fighting his brother, and a Konoha Root ANBU with shoulder-length blue hair that was fighting Sai in a tanto duel and who Sai looked less than pleased to be pitted against.
As Itachi ran to fight the reincarnated shinobi, the Zetsus began to merge together into massive behemoths with several fly traps on random parts of their bodies like mouths. The Zetsus began shoving shinobi into the mouths as they fought and draining their victims' chakra, restoring their own. Sasuke began to fight them but within a matter of minutes, Itachi's crow landed on Sasuke's shoulder then took off again, signaling for help. Sasuke turned and sprinted to help his brother, Shisui taking Sasuke's place fighting the Zetsus who numbered in the tens of thousands, all the walking behemoths. As Sasuke reached the reincarnated shinobi, he blasted Hanzo with a fireball then blocked a kick from the short old man in the yellow track suit, throwing him away from Itachi, at whom the kick had been aimed, allowing itachi to head to fight the Zetsus along with Shisui. Sasuke blocked a slash from a possessed Kumo Nin, killing him as the spirit possessing him returned to his body just before Tsunade crashed down on the body, smashing it into small pieces. Sasuke dropped and kicked the Taijutsu master at Lee and Guy who both attacked him instantly, struggling to keep up with him.
Sasuke turned to help Itachi and Shisui but froze when Danzo landed in front of him, all Sharingan uncovered and normal eye covered instead with Shisui's Sharingan in it's Mangekyo Sharingan form. Sasuke activated his Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan and charged, slashing at Danzo with his chokuto then sent a massive blast of flame at Danzo, hitting him directly. Danzo reappeared a short distance away, stabbing a Kiri Nin instantly and using the blood to summon two coffins as his eyes turned white.
"These two will be your opponents while I prepare my three trump cards," Danzo stated, Kabuto speaking through him. "My thanks to you and Naruto for giving them to me."
The two coffins fell open and Orochimaru and Deidara stepped out, both with pale grey skin and cracks running over their bodies. Both grinned as Orochimaru picked up a ninjato that was sticking out of a dead ninja's back.
"It looks like we are meant to always fight each other Sasuke," Orochimaru grinned.
"No," Sasuke growled. "We're not."
"Hold him here," Deidara instructed. "I'll hit him and everyone else with that one."
With that, he hurled a clay bird into the air, increasing its size and bringing it to life before leaping onto it and beginning to eat explosive clay. Sasuke realized what he was doing and swung his chokuto, sending a massive barrage of Chidori Senbon at the bird. Before it could hit, several clay spiders dropped in the way, blocking the senbon and protecting Deidara. Orochimaru stepped forward, slashing at Sasuke who blocked the slash then swung his Fire Sword, burning Orochimaru half a second after he had shed his skin. Sasuke spun toward Orochimaru just as Shisui landed between the two and placed him under a Genjutsu. Sasuke looked to Itachi who created a Chidori thanks to copying it from Sasuke. Sasuke created one of his own and the two leapt into the air just as the massive Deidara touched down, already expanding. They drove their Chidori into it and streamed the lightning throughout it resulting in it disintegrating while Deidara shrieked in rage.
"You bastard!" Deidara shouted.
Sasuke grinned, activating his Susanoo as he landed and a bow appeared on its left arm and an arrow made of Amaterasu formed in its right. it set the arrow and pulled it back before letting it fly at Deidara. At the same time, the reincarnated shinobi all revealed their ultimate ability. They each sent hundreds of paper from their bodies into the ranks of the Allied Shinobi Forces where they stuck to ground and shinobi alike. Each paper spit out four before exploding and each new paper repeated the process and the next did the same, the cycle continuing for about thirty seconds before Sasuke sent three Amaterasu Arrows into the explosion, lighting all of the papers with Amaterasu and burning them, the explosions having already killed hundreds. The reincarnated shinobi regenerated, each continuing to fight, smashing their way through the ranks of shinobi before meeting someone who was able to hold their own.
Sasuke turned back to Deidara just as Orochimaru slashed at him again. Sasuke dodged it, reactivating his Susanoo and forming a sword that he drove down through orochimaru as he formed the first of two items Itachi had taught him to wield. The Totsuka Blade. Orochimaru screamed in rage and fear as Sasuke drove the blade down through Orochimaru's body, the latter having already shed his skin, now in his serpent form.
"You basssstard!" Orochimaru hissed. "DIE!"
He shot out of the way of a second swing of the Totsuka Blade before lunging at Sasuke, coming to a stop as he crashed against the second item: the Yata Mirror. Orochimaru didn't have time to move away before the Yata Mirror turned black, becoming one with Sasuke's Amaterasu and instantly igniting Orochimaru. Orochimaru screamed, his human form shooting out of the snake's mouth and landing on his feet just as Shisui and Itachi were blasted away by Deidara who began to gather a large amount of clay.
"Switch!" Sasuke shouted, releasing the shield and both blades, replacing them with his bow and an Amaterasu arrow.
He fired and the bird shot out of the way of it, the arrow crashing down among the Zetsus and igniting dozens. Sasuke rapid fired several more with similar results before creating one and beginning to make hand seals instantly. The moment his Susanoo fired, Sasuke mad the last hand seal.
"Shuriken Shadow Clone Jutsu!" Sasuke shouted as the arrow multiplied into hundreds.
Deidara swore and leapt off of his bird just as the arrows began flying past, shredding and burning his bird as well as grazing his arm and igniting it. Deidara hurled his new attack skyward, making the Seal of COnfrontation with his non-burning arm as the fire began to spread. The C3 instantly expanded, spreading its arms as it began to fall.
"DIE!" Deidara shouted as the black flames enveloped him completely.
Sasuke leapt at the C3 but a Zetsu grabbed him slamming him down as the C3 neared the ground. Just as it was about to hit, three bolts of lightning hit it and exploded, blasting it into oblivion instantly and negating its impending explosion. Below where it was, Ameyuri pulled her Thunderswords out of the ground, handing them back to Omoi and drawing the katana she had traded them for.
"Shall we?" She grinned.
"Might as well die fighting," Omoi sighed as they charged into the Zetsus, joining Suigetsu and his brother, Sakura, Ino, Tenten, and Shino.
The rest of the Konoha 11, minus Naruto and Hinata, were amongst the reincarnated shinobi. Shikamaru, Kiba and Akamaru, Neji, and Choji were battling the Sound Four in the same match ups as the first time they fought. Lee was fighting the Taijutsu master, Chen, alongside Guy, the monk, Chiriku, was fighting Asuma, the ninja that could separate from his body, Dan Kato, was battling Tsunade using Zetsus and Allied Forces shinobi alike as hosts between times in his own body, Hanzo was fighting Jiraiya alongside the leader of the Land of Iron, Mifune, Hizashi and Hiashi were still fighting, Hayate was pinned to the ground by a weeping Yugao, who he had managed to take control just enough to purposefully miss a stab at resulting in him being sealed a moment later, and Sai was still dueling the ANBU member, Shin, his adoptive brother.
Lee and Guy kicked Chen away just as Kimimaro landed between them and both Leaf shinobi froze.
"Is that the Shikotsumyaku user you fought?" Guy questioned gravely.
"It is," Lee nodded. "Free of the illness that was limiting his abilities, it would seem."
"Indeed," Kimimaro nodded. "I remember you."
"I'll take him down Sensei," Lee stated. "You keep Master Chen from killing anyone else."
"Right," Guy nodded. "Just remember, Gaara isn't here to help you this time. Be careful."
Lee nodded and Guy sprinted past Kimimaro, charging at Chen who was waiting. Lee sprinted at Kimimaro, throwing a punch experimentally and Kimimaro blocked it with bones protruding from his left forearm both as defense and a weapon, proven when he slashed with a matching one on his right arm. Lee leapt back then darted forward, beginning to swing at Kimimaro as fast as he could, Kimimaro dodging or blocking everything for a moment before attacking Lee. Lee ducked under it then spun and vanished. Kimimaro spun around but Lee appeared behind him, smashing both feet into his back and launching him. Kimimaro landed on his feet and stood, his destroyed back and left shoulder regenerating just before his Curse Mark spread over his body. Lee charged again and Kimimaro began to much more easily evade Lee's attacks before slamming his knee into Lee's chin then his fist, now devoid of bone spikes, into Lee's stomach, launching him backward.
"I see," Lee growled standing and wiping some blood from the corner of is mouth. "That mark makes your speed double. This should do it."
Lee knelt and pulled off his leg weights, throwing them into two reincarnated shinobi and pinning them down with them inside of two massive craters. Then, Lee stood and charged, vanishing instantly until his fist crashed into Kimimaro's stomach, launching him away with a massive hole in his abdomen. Lee chased him, appearing behind him and smashing a knee into his jaw as Kimimaro reached him, launching his opponent skyward. Then, Lee appeared over him, smashing both fists into his back, launching him downward and smashing him into the ground, now only his lower body remaining. Lee landed beside the crater, a pair of sealing ninja rushing toward the lower body. Just as they reached it, however, the legs shot up, sprouting bone spikes that impaled both. Then, Kimimaro's upper half regenerated and he stood, retracting the spikes and glaring up at Lee.
"Impressive," Kimimaro commended. "My turn."
Kimimaro's Curse Mark opened as his body mutated until he was left in his Curse Mark Level Two form, resembling a dinosaur. Lee crouched readying himself just as Kimimaro appeared beside him with bone growth of something akin to a drill. Lee leapt back, avoiding the weapon and landed on his feet watching Kimimaro in surprise.
"You were slower in your Curse Mark Level Two form before," Lee recalled. "Why the difference?"
"Because," Kimimaro growled. "Before, I was dying, running low on chakra, and was focussing on getting through Gaara's defenses."
"I see," Lee nodded. "Then let's see what you can do, and no weapons at first."
Kimimaro grinned and retracted his blade before appearing beside Lee and smashing him into Guy with a backhand. Lee stood, growling and helped Guy up.
"He's fast," Lee sighed as Kimimaro extended the drill once more. "I'll need your permission to use both of those Sensei."
"Do it," Guy nodded. "In the mean time, I'll continue to handle Chen. Good luck Lee."
Lee nodded and pulled out a bottle of sake. Before he drank it, he set it down in the sand and crouched, gritting his teeth and blasting his chakra through the first five Inner Gates, still unable to open the sixth. Then, he knelt, picking up the bottle and pulling the cork, accidentally crushing it from his new strength, alerting Kimimaro that he should stop Lee. Guy appeared between the two, catching Kimimaro's arm before he could hit Lee, allowing Lee to finish the bottle and drop it. Kimimaro leapt away and Guy leapt to the side as Kimimaro crouched and Lee staggered to one side then the other before taking something vaguely resembling his usual fighting stance with a lot less balance.
"This one again, hm?" Kimimaro sighed. "And with the fifth Inner Gate open. This should be fun."
"The problem with your transformation, as Lee saw, was that you doubled your first speed the first time you changed," Guy stated. "The second time, you tripled your second speed. Lee has now compensated for it. Good luck."
Chen stopped attacking to watch the fight as well, thoroughly frustrating Kabuto in the process.
"He's actually going to fight using the Fifth Gate and Drunken Fist together?" Chen questioned.
"Yes he is," Guy smiled.
Kimimaro charged forward in a grey and white streak, driving the drill at Lee. At the last second, Lee fell over backward, fainting. As he landed, he passed out, beginning to snore. Kimimaro formed a second drill on his other arm, remembering how it would go from the last time, then began trying to impale Lee with both hands. The drill crashed into the ground so fast the explosions sounded like one long sound, until Lee spun, sweeping Kimimaro's feet out from under him then somehow spinning onto his feet. He staggered forward, beginning to attack Kimimaro, who avoided the attacks as best he could for a moment before Lee dropped to his hands and flipped upside down, swinging an upside-down snap kick at Kimimaro's head. Kimimaro raised a drill over his head to block it and the kick smashed straight through the drill, blasting Kimimaro in the face.
Kimimaro threw himself backward and landed on his feet, the missing half of his head regenerating as he did and Lee flipped onto his feet, staggering forward. When he reached Kimimaro, he flipped to his feet again, spinning and slamming his feet into Kimimaro again and again, obliterating more and more of his body as he did before Kimimaro was only a pair of feet. Lee leapt away, landing on his back and snoring again as the Sake wore off and his Inner Gates closed.
"Wake up Lee!" Guy snapped as Kimimaro regenerated and stepped forward, extending a bone drill.
"DIE!" Kimimaro shouted, rage evident in his voice.
Just before the bone drill hit, Chen's foot collided with it, driving it into Kimimaro's abdomen instead.
"What?" Kimimaro growled. "But how?"
"I'm done serving Kabuto," Chen shrugged. "I'm out. See ya Lee, Guy."
And with that, his body was covered in a blinding white light before deconstructing as his soul returned to the afterlife. Kimimaro growled in frustration and wrenched the drill out of his abdomen then looked toward Danzo and grinned.
"Game over," Kimimaro grinned. "They're ready."
And then, he turned and fled. At the same time, Orochimaru and Deidara were both swallowed by their coffins again as Three new ones rose in front of Danzo, who was also swallowed by his coffin.
"Now what?" Sasuke growled as he, Shisui, and Itachi fell back to the Allied Shinobi Forces as they readied themselves, the Zetsus and other Reincarnated shinobi having left.
More specifically, the weaker ones left while the sealing teams finished sealing the stronger ones. The three coffins fell open and Kabuto's words echoed in Sasuke's head.
