The Wedding Part 3: The Nuptials
Renesmee Cullen
The blazing sun hit my skin as the morning struck the clock, the wind breezing through the laces of the curtains like the ocean wave of First Beach. I'd never usually left my window out in the open but yesterday I was feeling extra irregular.
I covered my entire temple with my cover sheets.
Then came the hummingbirds began singing and chirping along to the wonderful summer air.
I groaned as I covered my face with the pillow.
My eyes fluttered open as the owls began to hoot at me in their usual grumpy annoyance.
I sighed as I sat up, realizing that the reason why those scoundrel little owls were angry was the day that came ahead…
The contemplating day of my future…
I plopped my body down on my soft-feathery pillows but I got another disapproving voice from the antelope and deer as they moaned and ran through the forests.
I released an exasperated sigh and leaped out of my covers and sprung off the bed and emerged the curtains as I began walking lazily over to my small dresser of my bedroom…
I stared at the messy bun of hair and watched as my creamy skin glowed as the sun on my skin but the wind blowing through the room took the coldness away. I pulled the hair band out of my messy hair and let my long curly bronze locks fall gracefully off my shoulders.
I moved myself off the dresser chair and ran inhumanly fast over to my bed and began straightening the room.
By the time I was done, I ran over to my closet and pulled out my favorite red hoodie. I then began walking over to the door and stared back at my childhood room…
I've never been in here in weeks, months, maybe even years…
It was really comforting to be in an area filled with all my memorable joy, peace and happiness.
The joy I shared with my parents one night when they spent the night reading historical books with me and divulge back to their room the moment I rested my eyes, and the moments the next night.
The peace I felt when I was finally in my mother's arms and feeling my father's finger on my soft cheeks.
The happiness I saw in my parents whenever they stared into each other's eyes and the happiness growing when I entered the room, with my warm cup of blood and Ms. Dracula doll –that I received from the Romanian coven – which released series of laughter coming from both ends.
But most of all…I remembered the incomparable love I received from the man that entered the room every day.
His energy, lighting up the room, his touch, dusting away all the sadness I ever felt, his words, pouring water on my fired heart…
The one person who'd always put the bricks back on my damaged tower…
The man who loved my unconditionally that he'd risk his entire life just to make sure that I was okay…
The one man, who'd always allow me to be reckless, like watching an R-Rated movie underage when I wasn't supposed to because of the compulsion I had on him.
The man that loved me for all my flaws, my incompetence acts, my selfish and dare I say 'stubbornness'.
The man that loved me for me…
A small smirk played on lips as I cherished these memories of this house and switched the room light and left the cottage.
The moment I stepped out of the green-y, meadow-y and plant invaded cottage, I felt the strong wind gush past me. I frowned as I pulled the hoodie over my head and inserted my hands either side of the pockets.
Sensing by the weather, it had probably been in the earliest dawn morning, 5am possibly.
I made my way over to the familiar house that appeared behind the oak trees. I stopped immediately in my tracks –when I was three feet away from the porch step – and inhaled a shaky breath at remembrance of the previous week.
Did I want enter after the house what happened? Should I enter the house? Was I even ready? Should I stop questioning myself and just enter the house?
Answer: Well…I don't know.
But I'm going to go on a limp and just let my current guide me.
I began climbing on the steps and stopped when I reached the wide glass doors. I sucked in a deep breath and unfurled the door and entered the house.
I was immediately hit by the familiar mixture of my family's scents but it was extremely vague. It felt empty. I bit my lip lowly as I shut the door.
I pulled my hoodie off and began circling around the giant room.
Where was everyone?
I distinctively heard the sound of the gaming console coming from the theater room. I smiled when I saw Diego damaging the controller. Even in his teenager, probably 14 maybe 15, he still never gave in to his childlike self.
I then made myself over to the kitchen where I finally saw my grandmother cooking up a storm, with the help of my Aunt Rosalie.
They both stopped what they were doing and stared at the door where I stood.
"Renesmee," Esme breathed out.
"You're up really early?" Rosalie smiled at me.
I just lifted my eyebrows and entered the room. I walked over to the refrigerator and pulled out the packet of baloney and began chomping down on it. I could sense my two family members staring worriedly at me.
I really couldn't care less.
"Where's everyone?" I questioned as I shut the fridge door.
"Well, Jasper, Emmett, Alice, Carlisle and Edward are getting everything ready." Esme replied with a small smile.
I sat on the kitchen island chair.
"But the humans are all asleep and we're here cooking! How ironic isn't it?" Rosalie laughed and Esme smiled.
I nodded as I took another bite of my baloney.
"And mom?" I asked.
It was completely weird bringing up Bella's name in this situation.
Esme and Rosalie stared at each other before Rosalie replied.
"Um…Bella, she…" She paused before releasing a smile. She was hiding something from me. "She went to run some errands, but she'll be back soon."
I just nodded. Not really wanting to strain the subject.
Rosalie walked up to me and rubbed my arm.
"You know, Renesmee, none of us wanted this to happen either. She only did it-" She began but I cut her off.
"To protect me, I know." I told her. "I've heard it all before."
"Look, Ness-"
"I don't want to talk about…that today. I hope you understand that?"
Rosalie smiled and nodded understandingly.
"So, are you excited?" She asked. "I mean, being married to a mutt for the rest of your life shouldn't be a privilege but getting married in general is just amazing. It's going to be magical. I remember my wedding with Emmett I-"
"Rose." Esme chipped disapprovingly at her.
I smiled weakly and shrugged.
"No, it's okay." I said with my voice cracking a little. I cleared my throat. "I-I'm just going to the bathroom for a minute." I told them.
They nodded and watched me leave the room.
When I reached the staircase, I heard the doorbell ring and I walked over to the sound and unfurled the door.
There she was.
My best friend, my girlfriend…my sister…
Laura.
"Hey!" She exclaimed with wide eyes as she saw me.
"You know Laura, you don't have to always knock or ring the bell."
"Well I'm sorry for being a polite guest. I mean, I should probably be a little hesitant in just barging in a house full of bloodsucking vampires." She said.
I giggled.
Sure. It was okay that Laura knew about us but it made her quite afraid of all of us for the past few years.
She expressed her feelings of being turned before but I think those feelings changed. She was a 15 year old back then and was only saying that because of Jason but I think now she realized how special human life was. As much as I wanted to spend forever with her, I knew it wasn't my decision and I wasn't going to blame her. I don't want a life like this for her.
"Hi." I smiled.
"You're up early." She said as she entered the house and pulled me into a hug. I sighed and shrugged.
"I guess. Couldn't really…sleep last night." I replied as I ran my fingers through my hair. Laura smiled comfortingly.
"I finally went through with it." She told me. I frowned but soon gasped when I realized what she meant.
"Oh my gosh. Yeah! I remember." I exclaimed. She chuckled. "Are you okay?" I asked Laura.
It was the first night after finding out that her parents were gun wielding people who hunted werewolves for a living and that they'd been lying to her pretty much ever since she was born.
Let's not forget the fact that she found out she was some supernatural creature. But I didn't believe that.
She and I researched on Banshees and how they existed and nothing affiliated with her. It's a 'hoax' so to say.
"It was terrible. I couldn't really stand it. But yeah, they all explained to me the reasons why they didn't tell me and why they do what they do." She said. I nodded.
"And is it what you expected?" I questioned.
"I wasn't even expecting them to be hunters in the first place."
"But we knew about it from the beginning,"
"But the fact that it's true really stinks." She said. I laughed. "And yeah, I guess they did give me half of the story on how they hunt werewolves because of the killing spree that happened in Washington in the 1800s to the 2014s!" She joked. I laughed lightly. She smiled.
"Are you okay?" She asked.
I smiled and shrugged my shoulders.
"Definitely something I've been hearing all week. But I think you of all people know how I'm feeling." I told her.
She smiled.
"Well, the day's still young, and we can definitely turn that frown upside down." Laura said. I shrugged.
What would possibly change my mood even just for a second?
"I'm going to be an aunt!" She told me.
I widened my eyes.
"Andy and Marisa?" I asked. She nodded happily. "Wow. I didn't know they were trying."
"That's the thing. They weren't." She laughed. I smiled and nodded.
"I'm really happy for you." I said. She sighed and nudged my arm.
"Everything's going to be okay."
If only she knew.
Then as if on cue, Carmen came trotting down the stairs.
"Oh my god," She exclaimed as she saw me and Laura and threw herself on me in a hug. "I missed you."
I smiled.
Then she pulled Laura in a hug.
Her aunt…
The door was immediately swung open and Seth came into the room, panting like crazy. I frowned.
"Seth?" I questioned.
"We have a problem!" He retorted.
"What?" Cathy's voice chimed as she entered the room.
"Jake's missing." He said staring at me.
I took the time to register what he said.
Jacob was missing?
… …
"What do you mean Jacob's missing?" I questioned.
How could Jacob, a grown man like him just disappear? And why would he go missing?
"I don't know. After the bachelor party, he just went all AWOL and we haven't seen him since then. We've searched almost everywhere he could be, Billy's, La Push, First Beach, but we found nothing. We thought he might've been with you but I guess not." He told me.
"Why would he run away?" Laura asked.
"Yeah, I didn't know under that thick, giant muscular wolf was a scared lost puppy." Cary giggled.
"I don't know. He hasn't phased at all. It's starting to worry the pack." Seth said.
"What if something happened to him?" Cathy asked.
"Oh god no," I whispered behind all the ranting. Everyone stared back at me. "Oh god, please no!" I exclaimed.
"Nessie, what-"
I didn't allow anyone to continue as I just walked out of the door and began running inhumanly fast through the forest.
I couldn't concentrate in the run. I didn't care at all. I didn't care if I bumped into huge branches.
I couldn't care less about my surroundings.
What happened?
Did I really drive Jacob to the state where he'd run away without a notice beforehand?
I really didn't want to bring myself to the place where anything beyond terrible could happen to him.
I needed to find him.
When I reached the beach, where I thought he could be. I found nothing…
I continued on running –hardly caring if anyone saw– through the tree infested area of the clearing and I began locating myself to the one place where I'd know he could be.
Our meadow…
I watched as the clouds began clearing in as I ran.
I found myself barging through the bushes and gracefully came out to the nature field.
I breathed in the air, hoping to find his scent and I sure did.
But there was no sign of him.
I skimmed through the area and was met with the willow tree 50 feet away from me. I enhanced my eyesight and caught the shadow behind the huge tree.
I sighed as I began walking up to it.
I crossed my arms and stood by the tree as I watched Jacob sitting by the log and staring at the huge lake the rain must've caused this summer.
"Can't someone have some peace?" He shouted angrily and glared back. I had never heard that voice before. He widened his eyes and stood up immediately and dusted himself off. "Oh, it's you…"
"Seth said you ran away?" I told him. He chuckled.
"Of course he did. When a guy just needs to be in a place to-"
"Scream in anger? Feel free to release all your inner aggression?" I asked in a snarl. Jacob was surprised at what I said.
"Or just to think," He pointed out as he fiddled with his finger.
Our eyes interlocked in a strong intense gaze before I darted my eyes to see his jacket sprawled on the ground.
"Did you stay here all night?" I asked.
"Like I said, I needed to think." He told me.
"And you haven't eaten?" I asked in concern but I tried to hide it with my stern look.
He smiled.
Why did he smile?
"How did you sleep?" He asked, completely off topic taking a step forward.
"Hey! I asked you a question first!" I growled.
"I know. And I'm asking you one now." He said, taking a few more steps closer to me.
"Look Jake. I don't know what kind of sick game you're playing." I seethed. He shushed me.
"This is not a game." He said his grin fading away almost immediately as he took two steps closer, now he was inches away. I took a step back and stared at something beside him. He chuckled and took steps back and nodding.
"Look. I don't know how many times I have to apologize-"
"Once, Jake! Once!" I exclaimed. "But the fact you have nothing to say but 'I'm sorry' kinda gets annoying."
"I know Ness. What I did was stupid and I-"
"You didn't let me finish." I warned. He stared at the ground. "You sure were stupid for not telling me about it in the first place. But…I understand that it wasn't your place not to." I told him. "And I forgive you for that."
He lifted his head and furrowed his eyebrows.
"But I don't forgive you for the fact that you'd run away? I mean, you had me worried sick about you! I wouldn't even know what I did if anything happened…" I trailed off as tears began welling up in my eyes. Jacob took a step forward but stopped when I smiled.
"But you're fine. That's the good thing about this whole 'situsie'." I laughed. He smiled.
I sighed. "Look. I'm sorry that I was being a bitch with you and everyone lately." I told him. He frowned.
"There were a few times. Could you be more specific?" He said jokingly. I giggled and rolled my eyes.
I glared at him.
"Don't push it." I murmured.
He shook his head and rubbed my arms.
"Don't worry. You weren't a bitch." He said. "Yesterday, you were a little…a little bit."
I chuckled and he smiled crookedly down at me.
"Look. I'm just trying to process the information." I told him. "I'm also worried about you and everyone else."
He frowned in befuddlement.
"Now we all have our secrets, Jake and clearly we have ours." I told him. "But I think we should tell them to each other from now on."
"I get it." Jake nodded. "No more secrets from now on."
I smiled at the truthful assurance and he released a sigh.
"What?" I asked.
"It's just…" He trailed off. "Please don't ever get angry at me like that. What you said about being 'done with md' and that you really I thought you'd leave me and I just can't even-"
I smiled at how cute he was.
"Not even a thousand miles can't keep us apart Jake, because either way, my heart is wherever you are." I reassured him. He lifted his head and beamed up a smile.
I chuckled.
"You know, my entire life felt like I was catching lightning in the chances of finding someone like you. I've been searching for you all my life, I just wasn't aware until-"
"The moment you laid eyes on me." I smiled. He shook his head.
"The moment I met your mother. I knew that love really did exist for me out there. I love you Nessie, I'll never stop loving you. Even until my heart stops." He told me as he caressed my face.
"Sure kid. I love you too. Why not?" I teased with a laugh. He chuckled and bent head down and brushed my lips but I moved away quickly. He frowned.
"Save it for the wedding."
He grinned widely.
"You really want to go through with it?" He asked. I shrugged as I tugged his jean buckle closer to me.
"So that's a yes?" He asked huskily.
"In every language: Ye, Si, Wi, Yah, Yes!" I exclaimed as I ran my fingers through his silky hair and got on my tiptoes and our lips were centimeters apart and getting closer.
The sound of the thunderstorm and rain pouring down made us pull away. I gasped and Jake just sighed as he held me by the waist.
"What a cliche." He sighed. I smiled and grabbed his hand and we began sprinting back to the house.
Alice came barging out of the door and began squealing and jumping up and down.
"You guys made up! Yay!" She exclaimed. "But ugh! It has to be ruined by the rain."
I giggled at my aunt.
"Sorry." I said as if it were her in my shoes. She smiled.
"Oh don't be. I wouldn't want to kiss a dog anyway." She said. Jake rolled his eyes."Now you big guy, better get to Charlie's because this is happening! We're getting married. No rain will stop that."
I smiled.
Jacob smiled and planted a kiss on my cheek.
"See you later." He told me. I nodded and watched him run and heard him release a 'whoop' on the way.
"He's just too excited." Alice said and pulled my hand and we entered the house to see it filled with wedding decorations, neon lights and bows wrapped around the staircase leading to the color-coded crystal chandelier.
Oh boy...
Alice and I began running up the stairs and walking over to the 'dressing rooms'.
We past by Carmen and Cathy's room where I saw her and Rosalie by the dresser.
"Sweetheart. This is not a problem. Having gotten my share of hickies back then, I've developed some patented cover-up methods." Rosalie told her daughter as she fiddling through the makeup case and I watched as Carmen stared at her marks that she received from last week that never seemed to heal. The perks of being strangled to death.
She stopped her mom.
Rose frowned.
"If you don't wanna go through with today then you don't have to honey." She told Cary. She shook her head.
"That's not it." She whispered. "It's just...Someone tried to strangle me. And I survived. I don't need to hide that." Carmen told her.
I smiled.
Rosalie stroked her partial french braided long wavy golden-blonde hair which had been straightened down her back.
"No. No you don't." Rosalie said, kissing her temple and Carmen smiled at her. "But we're still going to do you hair right?"
"Of course we're going to do my hair!" She exclaimed and laughed with her mom.
"That's my girl."
I grinned at the scene.
"Nessie?" Alice ushered me out of my trance. I nodded and followed her to the room where I was immediately met by my grandmothers Esme and Renee talking to my mother Bella.
I was surprised Renee was still here, well that she was still in the Cullen House after what happened. I thought she'd be too scared off right now. But I wasn't around here for so long.
I was really angry at myself that I haven't gotten to know my grandmother more, but I was going to make sure I did after all of this.
Bella stood up when she saw me entered the room.
"Renesmee," She whispered in relief and happiness yet sadness.
"Oh Renesmee! It's so great to see you!" Renee exclaimed as she ran over to me and pulled me into a hug. "Where have you been? I'm guessing spending time with the groom I'm guessing?" She teased and Alice giggled and so did Cathy and Laura who were doing each other's hair. I smiled at my grandmother.
They obviously haven't told her much and Cathy must've used her compulsion on her to forget a few events.
I'm really not surprised!
My mother couldn't take her eyes off of me. I smiled and talked to my grandmother for a few more minutes before walking over to my mom and leaving Renee and Esme to gush over how grown up the kids were and how the wedding will be beautiful.
My mom looked extravagant in her vanilla one-strap dress which sat whimsically in a mermaid cut. Her wavy brown hair was sat up in a bun and a hair comb keeping it in tact.
"Mom." I said to her.
"Renesmee. It's really good to see you again." She said, almost awkwardly.
I smiled and nodded.
"About last week mom. I want us to just forget about it...just for today. I understand that things have been tough around us but we can just hold out for one day...and then we'll talk. Okay?" I told her. She nodded and gave me a small smile.
"Of course sweetheart. I understand. It's your big day, and I don't want this to ruin it." She said.
I nodded.
"Look. We all have our secrets, Mom and it's clear that you have yours." I repeated the same thing I said to Jake. "And it's okay if you don't want to tell me about them yet. But I think you need to tell them to someone."
She stared at me with such sadness and longing.
"Okay guys! We have to get ready. Time is of the essence and we've got 6 hours until the wedding begins."
I spun around and smiled as I reached the dresser and Alice began doing my hair whilst the rest of the ladies got ready.
My mom left the room in the middle of the makeup session.
"Where's she going?" I asked Alice. She shrugged even though I knew she knew very well. I sighed. Secrets.
When my mother finally came back, she came in with a wide grin and my father following her tracks, all dressed up in a dashing navy blue suit.
I widened my eyes as I stood up and gawked in impression at my dad.
"Wow. Wow. Daddy!" I exclaimed. The females chuckled.
If he were a human he'd probably blush. He made a little twirl around the room and I heard a wolf-whistle coming from behind. My mother giggled.
"That's my husband everybody." She laughed then moved her gaze at me and gasped. "Oh my gosh, Nessie!"
I smiled.
"What mom?" I blushed.
The venom stinging her eyes as she stared at me and covering her mouth.
"My baby girl..." She couldn't find the words.
"You are the epitome of beauty," Edward answered for her as he stared at me emotionally. He inhaled a breath. "You look magnificent, peanut."
"Compliments of me!" Alice chimed. I smiled.
"We have a surprise for you." Bella said and my father pulled out a velvet case. He opened it and I was immediately met with the most beautiful diamond necklace I've ever seen.
I gasped.
"Oh my god!"
"That's just a little gift to you for your wedding day." Edward told me. I pulled it out and held it to see that it had three bands hanging down and a crystal in between.
"The rings have all our initials on them." Bella smiled. My heart swelled.
"It's beautiful you guys." I said as I allowed my dad to put it on me and planted a kiss on my forehead. He smiled at my reflection on the mirror.
"But that's not all!" Alice exclaimed and my grandmother Renee came running over to my mom and handed her a small white box.
I frowned.
"This gift is the Swan's family heirloom. My grandmother wore it, I wore it and it was pretty much my duty to pass it down to my daughter as well." My mom Isabella said.
"And the list carries on!" Renee churned and the girls giggled.
My dad lifted the lid and held it out to me.
"It's a little something blue."
"Something old,"
"Something borrowed but you should keep it for the future." My mother smiled at me.
We were still unsure whether or no I could procreate so it was pretty much up in the air. But I wasn't going to be thinking about that.
Inside the box were two heavy silver hair combs. They were gorgeous! Even more gorgeous than my mother's.
Navy blue sapphires were embellished into intricate floral shapes on top of the teeth and two strings of ruby/diamonds gracefully lying across.
"We added a little touch to it." Bella said.
My throat had a huge lump.
"I can't accept this. It's too much." I told them. Bella shook her and pulled the hair combs and placed into my Russian Braid hair. She stared into my reflection in the mirror and smiled as she let a strand of hair twirl by my forehead.
"You look beautiful my child. And you deserve so much more. I'm so proud of you." She told me, her voice beginning to crack. She mouthed an 'I love you' and I mouthed it back and got up from the chair and pulled her into tightened hug.
"You're the best." I whispered to her. She smiled and returned the hug.
I refrained from crying because I had no intention of making my makeup smudge.
"Photo op!" Alice exclaimed and I heard a series of flashing clicks. We glared her and she just giggled.
"Crap! My mascara's smudging oh!" Renee exclaimed and Esme handed her a napkin. She smiled at her.
"And this gift..." My dad said as she placed a small velvet box on the dresser. I shook my head.
Dad, I can't take anymore gifts! I thought out. He smiled.
"Just open it!" He simply said.
I sighed and lifted the small velvet box to see a gorgeous ring with words engraved on them.

Were one of the few words that popped up but the three words that struck me the most were the words that went along the lines of joy, happiness and love...
I was gone after that. I was spent.
"Oh my god," I exclaimed.
"I don't have to tell you where that could have come from, now do I?" My father said. I just shook my head.
"He made this?" I asked him. He nodded. I sighed. "How am I supposed to top that?"
The gang laughed.
Then as if on cue, Cary popped into the room looking beautiful in her bridesmaid dress. I noticed she was wearing a corsage, actually, all the bridesmaids were wearing corsages beside Laura and I. I don't know why.
"Uh guys...3 hours left!" She said.
I widened my eyes.
Oh my god! Were we that long?
"Okay. So what are we doing here standing here for? We've got a wedding to get to!" Esme exclaimed and the girls shouted out.
"Dresses!" Alice said.
Then my nerves kicked in...
... ...
I watched as all my bridesmaids and family getting into the various cars and I couldn't help but wonder what was going to happen next.
I really needed to breath. And this dress wasn't helping at all!
My best friend Laura was the last bridesmaid and stood next to me.
"Nervous much?" She said.
I sighed. "I don't think I can do this." I told. She nudged my arm.
"Of course you can. You're freaking Renesmee Cullen for crying out loud. You're invincible."
I laughed.
"Well I'm not going to be for much longer." I told her.
"You'll be fine, Ness." She told me. I smiled at her.
"Do you have any idea where we're going?" I asked her. She shrugged.
"God knows!" She told me. "Anyway, I guess I'll see you later."
I nodded and watched her go over to the car. Her dress was gorgeous, it was a floor length, pale blue sleeveless dress.
The bridesmaids dresses are made of materials of chiffon and elastic woven satin. The design of one-shoulder neckline and floor length look elegant. The bodice is pleated. Skirt is decorated by side-draping. Back is zipper closure.
She looked the epitome of beautiful.
"So do you." My father told me. I smiled at him.
My grandfather came to me and held his hand out for me. I guess we had to keep up the human facade and he was playing as my dad.
"You know, Granddad. I want Edward to walk me down the aisle." I said turning around. My father beamed. "As my brother." I teased.
"It'll be an honor peanut." He told me. My grandfather smiled and nodded and went off with Esme to the family car.
I inserted my arm into my father's and held him close. We began sauntering over to the car that had been wrapped in a bow.
"You know. It's really going to be hard letting you go." He whispered. I smiled.
"I know." I replied.
"I never thought I'd be walking you down the aisle in at least 30 years but to think how quickly it was..." He paused.
"Look. Dad. I get it. You wanted to have all the 18 years with your children but the fact that that isn't possible really stinks. I get it. I'm really sorry," I told him.
"Hey, don't be sorry. You should be happy. This is your big day. I'm really proud of you and the woman you've become." He informed me. I smiled and nodded.
"You should really know that I'll always be your little girl. Always and Forever." I assured him.
"Really good to know." He said to me. I coaxed him and he opened the car door for me. I entered and he followed soon after.
We waited for a few more minutes before driving to where the wedding took place.
I didn't really know where we were going to because it was pretty much unrecognizable. We past by Forks and stares were bombarded on us. Well probably to the fact that there are 5 cars following each other in sync.
When we reached up to a vineyard, we stopped in front of a large gate. My granddad got out of the car and walked over to the security guard and then the gates unfurled and the cars began driving again and up the hill.
I had no idea what the hell was happening. Where we going to?
We stopped in front of a huge mahogany wooden door. Everyone pulled out of the cars and we were immediately joined by the groomsmen.
Embry was paired with Emma.
Carmen had been paired with Diego.
Cathy had been paired with half-best man Seth.
And finally, Laura with Jason as maid of honor and the other best man.
They walked through the doors. My father and I got out of our car soon after and stood in front of the doors.
"Ready?" My father asked me as he rubbed my hand comfortably. I looked up in his green eyes before nodding as I listened to the music that ringed in my ears.
The doors finally opened and the sunshine blinded me. When I finally had the chance to contain my composure and finally open my eyes, I was completely stunned by the sight before me. It was a long never-ending aisle. It was decorated exquisitely with neatly shaved tree branches, a veil covering the area with fireflies set above it. I took the chance to stare at the ground to see a variety of bright lanterns, all different shades and petals thrown onto the ground securing the long white aisle leading to a gate.
I didn't know we were walking down the aisle when I realized we reached the gate already and it opened widely sensing our welcome. Then if I couldn't have gotten more amazed, I found myself outdoor in the brightness of the day. The sun was shining and not much clouds. I was shocked to see that we were on top of the hill with beach in view!
The wedding alter was just like the aisle I came from but even more alluringly exquisite and more flowers blossoming since it was spring. Then suddenly when I couldn't get any more nervous then I already was, 350 people -some I was pretty sure I had no idea of - stood up from their seats and turned around to see me. I immediately felt a little self-conscious but they gasped and made comments about how statuesque I looked.
I caught our friends from the Irish, Harayan, Egyptian, and even the Romanian and nomads sitting between the humans. The Denali coven were sitting behind my family and the wolf pack on the other side.
It was weird yet sweet to see everyone I loved united as one on my wedding day.
Edward and I continued walking down the aisle and I couldn't help but stare at the ground. I finally regained my composure and looked up to see the most breathtakingly beautiful man only a few steps away under the canopy, looking dashing in his silver tuxedo and a pocket hankie in his blazer pocket. I guess I wasn't the only one because he looked nerves as well.
All those insecurities and nerves seemed to vanish when I saw him smiling at me. I couldn't help but return it.
Once we reached Jake and the priest, my father placed my hand in Jacob's and gave him a nod and me a kiss on the cheek. I simpered at my father before he left to take a seat next to my mom.
She nodded at me and I looked up at my dashing fiance. He caressed my cheek and rubbed my chin and I grinned widely.
"Hey," I mouthed. He mouthed it back.
The priest told the guests to take a seat.
"Good day everyone. We welcome you on this glorious day to witness the wonderful unity of two loving people in holy matrimony." The priest began.
He allowed Jacob and I to recite our vows -of course with some tears here and there - until it was time for the rings. Diego and Carmen handed us the the rings.
Jacob took my hand and I did with his. His was a little challenging since he has such huge fingers.
"Well I guess without further ado. In the state of Forks, Washington, I now pronounce you Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Ephraim Black, you may now kiss the bride." He said.
Jacob cupped my face and stared into my eyes.
"I love you," He told me as tears began streaming down his russet cheeks.
"I love you," I sobbed and he leaned in to place his warm, soft lips on mine in a strong, passionate and loving kiss.
The guests all applauded as soon as Jake and I pulled away.
I was finally Mrs. Renesmee Black.
